What a genuine, friendly group of people I met here including, Nick Young. I talked with him about why I was looking for a car and he listened. We looked at new and used. He showed me several models in their inventory via computer and we test drove the one that fit what I was looking for most; safety and driver aides. (I’m getting older). Nick spent a lot of time with me, probably somewhat frustrating, but I never felt pressured. Then I met Chris Robinson, another very personal type of guy, who worked out the financial aspects. Next I met Dawn, who went to great lengths dealing with the title, since I’m both a Georgia and Florida resident. Who has their title with them?So I’m now the happy owner of a low mileage 2017 Ford Escape, Titanium. I love it and I love this dealership!After the sale: I’ve been back several times with questions about this or that feature I don’t quite understand. Nick is right there showing me how to set it up. Everyone there treats me like an old friend. I love this place!

My last vehicle was totaled and the he was able to work through all the hiccups that come up when you are attempting to purchase a new vehicle..but the last loan is still in the process of getting paid off. JUST A HEADS UP!!!!The sales associate we worked with was great. The senior salesman was unwilling to negotiate a cent from the listed price. There is a “dealership fee” as well as a “reconditioning fee“ that added up to be around $2000. If you ask them to provide you with a breakdown of what these fees include, the fine print explains the same thing. Essentially you are paying two fees for the same service. At the end of the day it was admitted by the salesman to be profit all together. I understand that it’s a business and they have to make money(although the list price has plenty of profit in it), so I was very willing to pay one, just not both for the same service. It’s very unfortunate that the dealership had a sure sale but could not bare taking the $1000 fee out that was already charged. For that reason we left without purchasing a car, and took our business elsewhere.

I had an excellent experience at Lakeland Automall. Hakeem was my salesman. He was friendly, professional, and efficient. The general manager, Duane, was also friendly and professional. We tried several cars and I never felt any pressure. While I did not buy a car there, Hakeem reached out in a few days and was happy to hear I had found a car that I liked. It is nice to be treated with respect. I recommend this dealership and Hakeem.

Tim is an absolute fantastic salesman! He walked us through from finish to end. The dealership is very up front and honest. There are no surprises as long as you do your due diligence beforehand.

Nice guys, and I almost had a deal with them. However, everyone should be aware that they tack on $2,500 worth of accessories to every new vehicle on top of the advertised price. These are non-negotiable. They tell me over the phone that they are a transparent dealer, so let me be a transparent customer as well. Nobody should have to pay for accessories on a vehicle, especially if they are unwanted. I even asked them to just not put them on the vehicle they were going to order for me, and they were unwilling to do so, even with me offering window sticker price for the car. Like I said, very nice people and they were a pleasure to work with, which is rare in the industry anymore. If you go here to buy a new car just be aware of everything I have just said. It will keep you from wasting each others time.

Horrible experience. Terrible customer service and unfair business practices. Fist right when we got there, two of their employees got into a rage argument at plain site . Terrible first impression. Apparently me and another customer where there to see the same car with similar appointment times. I arrived first and requested to see the car first and test drove it first. The vehicle Fit all my needs and I decided to make the purchase. Duane Temple denied me the sale. He said he needed to offer the car to the others. His reasoning was inconsistent. He stated that it was a first come first serve business and they do not hold cars for people. Yet he did exactly that. I left after I had asked him one final time If he was going to sell me the vehicle. . He lost my business. Only to find out the other people did not purchase it either. Unprofessional. Horrible experience.

Just Another Heads Up!!Dont for a minute think that the price advertised is the price you will pay when you get there. These guys are masters at sneaking in all kinds of additional BS fees. I too (see review below) got hit with a Recondition Fee. They wanted to charge me for reconditioning a literally brand new 2021 vehicle. When I asked what specific reconditioning they did, I was told they rotated the tires and did an oil change. Well, the car was fully electric - no oil. So... apparently it costs $537 to rotate tires.Just like the reviewer below, when I saw a recondition fee I chose to walk rather than make the purchase. It makes me feel a little better that this dealership lost at least two sales last week due to recondition and other bogus fees. Maybe if enough of us consumers walk rather than get ripped off, places like this will be forced to change their ways.

My sales associated was Nick Y. and he was tremendous throughout the process, including transparency which is extremely important in the car business. After the test drive and the decision was made to purchase, the next steps happened fairly quickly as compared to my experiences with other dealers. Customer service stopped the moment we signed on the dotted line. The car we bought from them was infested with ROACHES. When we asked that they get it treated, they gave us a sketchy residential address in plant city to drop the car off at, and then refused to give us a rental car despite promising to do that earlier. They ignored our request for a more professional site to treat the car at, and repeatedly and rudely refused to supply us with a rental car, never mind that they estimated a whole week to get the car treated.If you like having a car that isnt crawling with roaches I cant recommend Lakeland Automall. And if you like customer service, or a dealership that stands by the quality of their products, I would look somewhere else.

My husband and I have financed a couple vehicles before in the past and every time we go we usually get people telling us what they can’t do vs what they can. We had a pretty strict budget for a new truck and Daniel helped us stay within it and listened to what we actually WANTED not what they just wanted to be sold... most times when you buy a vehicle also you’re there almost ALL day. We were only there 4 hours and it was a very speedy process honestly. I’m amazed at how smooth the process went. Definitely recommend Lakeland Automall and definitely recommend Daniel!

Experience was ok been here twice but both times walk a way without car. Plus with the price of used car being high we are better off getting a new car. I would rather pay 300 month for a new car than a used one. First time was ok. Second time did not hear from the sales rep but from a consultant. I wont back just because both times felt like a waste. Would say they tried to get me into a car, nope. Would I say they tried to work a deal, nope. Do I feel pricing was transparent nope. I would recommend this dealership, no.

It’s already the end of May and I have yet to receive my new state license plates. I believe they scammed me!!!! Do not trust what they say. Fried also said he would reimburse me. Never did . I have been trying to reach out to Vicky in tags well. No response!!! What kindof business is this???!!!

My wife and I purchased a 2012 Dodge Ram with under 67,000 miles on the 4th of July. Ben and Russ did there jobs as used car salesmen and got us into the truck quickly with little to no issues and since we payed cash for the truck it made the process a little easier. So now here is where the issues begin, first off we left there with no paperwork at all assuming that they would mail it to us and they did not so after calling to find out why there is a delay with my tag and paperwork the lady who handles it said they sent it out recently and we should have it shortly. She was very helpful and we understand the delay with DMVs being a little crazy during the Covid problem so on to problem number two. As I was leaving the dealership on the 4th my check engine light came on, now keep in mind I just pulled out of the lot when this happened not 4 or 5 days later within minutes of leaving. I called them on the 6th to let their service dept know what was going on and I would be taking the truck to a shop that I have been doing business with for years to take a look at it and I would call the dealership back once I had and answer. Well the answer I got was not good, someone had reset the engine light to turn it off to hide some sort of issue which was the top half of the motor would need to come off and be rebuilt which was going to put a $4,000 bill into my lap. I reached out to Russ the GM and explained my situation and was told that they would not be paying for any sort of repairs but to have the truck towed to their lot and have their techs look at it. So with towing from Tampa to Lakeland being over $200 plus the repair bill which I already knew was going to be high I decided to let my shop fix it plus they gave me a warranty on the motor after they pulled it out of the truck and rebuilt it. I spoke to Russ and the answer I got was we will give you $500 towards the $4K repair bill which was gonna be no help at all. After the truck gets repaired I sent the invoice to Russ and got not even a call back which I was not expecting since Russ seemed to be a stand up guy since him and I had the love for motorcycles, I thought he was going to make it right. I understand that I signed an as-is form but I have been in finance for years and being a former GM for a motorcycle dealership I know what the form was but I called them within 48 hours of purchase expecting something to be done but I guess my wife and I were expecting a lot from just another used car lot. This is not meant to be a bash on Russ or Ben they were just doing their jobs but and they are two of the nicest guys we have ever done business with but I am upset about how we were treated after the sale we just got pushed to the side and I got stuck with a $4K bill on a truck that I paid for with the expectations that it was in top running condition which you can see in the pics it was definitely not.
