Im a disabled veteran and I called this place yesterday to have them come look at my AC not working the guy was here for about 10 minutes and tried to sell me a new blower and and UV light. For a total of 1600$. I called the company that actually put my AC in and found out nothing wadls wrong it just needed a good clean. I told the guy if he tried to rip me off it would be a HUGE mistake. Well he tried and failed.Dont call this worthless company if you need any AC help. If you want a real AC company that wont try to steal your money callTOP NOTCH they are amazing.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! I called because my air conditioner wasn’t working properly. The unit and handler were both running but no air circulating. And Service came out said Freon was good but my duct work wasn’t letting enough air in. (My house is less than 2 years old). So they cut another hole in my ceiling, ran more duct work and said ok your good. After leaving to holes in the flexible duct work and Well 4 days later no air again. I call at 1330 they say someone will call in 30 minutes. I call at 1500 stated service tech will be here in 30 minutes. I call at 1600 they say they are tracking down the service tech. Seriously. How are these people still in business?They don’t deserve any stars.I asked for a manager to call. No response.Ok tech shows up at 1700 requests to use my ladder to get in the attic cause he doesn’t have one then says we need Freon. Seriously.We said goodbye.Don’t waste your hard earned money on this company.

This company is very incompetent. I normally don’t leave bad reviews but I believe whole heartedly people should stay away from this company. When you pay for a service you expect to get what was promised. We just needed our maintenance done. It’s been rescheduled so many times and no call no shows. Just called them and they said “oh we cannot show this month” even though we have you on voicemail scheduling our maintenance day. This company just takes your money and just gives your the run around. I would not be surprised if they do not show up next month. We paid for a brand new ac to be installed and 1 year later the capacitor broke. Mind you the installation of the a/c handler was a mess the employees made a mess on our garage wall and ceiling with whatever sealer they used. It’s everywhere and looks so unprofessional. When we called to see what was wrong the tech told us we should pay for the warranty membership that includes 2 maintenance calls. Buyer beware, we do not recommend this company to anyone. Once they have your money then that’s it. Please find you a different company for your a/c needs.

First time I used this service, called with air conditioning issues at 4:30. They had someone onsite at 5:15 . I understand that’s probably not their usual response time but I was elated. Chris came out have the problem diagnosed, switch replaced within an hour. I was very impressed with this company. Will definitely use again. Thank you.

Called because our AC stopped working. Someone was out within an hour although they quoted longer. Took him two minutes to figure out capacitor was bad and he replaced it. In and out in under 30 minutes. Highly recommend

Called to get an estimate on an A/C service. When salesman arrived, he was rushed, pushy, and badgering us with questions about other services previously done of the house that had nothing to do with what he was there for.When the duct work was finally happening, it lasted a day longer than promised and we had no A/C for almost two days, which we were told would never happen. Workers had to be reminded to wear a mask indoors (thankfully only once) but they did NOT use drop-cloths to cover anything, as their services and contracts promised. They made a mess of our furniture and computer equipment, even when asked to use cloths. Large glob of caulking was dropped onto rug. Used some of our tools and cleaning supplies in the garage without asking.These all seemed like small offenses until I had to call the main office in Tampa for an adjustment to the bill, due to decrease in drops being serviced. This was the real nightmare. I had to talk to multiple people, over multiple phone calls, and I was still not being told the accurate price. MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR OWN MATH. We were told the price of drops, did our own math many times, and had to make more return phone calls before we finally got the bill to what it was supposed to be. We were not looking for a discount, just what the bill should actually be. All of these phone calls were with the main office in Tampa and for some reason, no one could do proper math. Im not saying they were trying to get away with something, I am saying to triple check the bill youre given.Overall, very unprofessional company and not worth the hassle. Would not recommend. Their promises online of Respect & Honesty and No Bait & Switch did not feel upheld to us. Also, their financing will include a $29 activation fee for the credit card it is placed on, which the salesman will tell you doesnt really happen. It does.

Not at all impressed. I accidentally punctured a line in an exterior unit. Called these guys because they advertise same day service, which to their credit they did seemingly try to offer. They told me they could get a technician out within 2-3 hours. The scheduler even called me back to ask what the issue was so that they could make the technician aware.About 2.5 hours later, I get a call from the technician stating he couldnt help me today because he didnt have the equipment on his truck to make the repairs. How does an AC company not *always* have a vacuum and charging kit on their truck? Bottom line is, I dont think I could stay in business if I had to keep telling my clients that I am too ill equipped to service their needs.So if you are looking for emergency repairs, look elsewhere. They are not prepared to help you.

Cool Now & AND Services - Absolute worst customer service, paid $10,000 for new system including ducting & have had over 20 plus service calls in a year & a half’s time. Problems with install, very poor craftsmanship. They are not prompt & do not show up when they say they will.

Don’t let the free service call fool you. They make up for it in their prices on work. Our AC went out & we called And Services to come out. They gave me a 2-3 hour window to show up. They came out closer to the 3 hour wait time. The guy looked at the unit outside and listened and started naming off 3 different issues that could be wrong. But more lead us towards needing a whole new unit. Or if we started replacing items on our current unit it was going to be way over 1,000$. For an AC motor they wanted to charge $800. Well we decided to call for a second opinion. Called another company, they came out in 20 min and they took the unit apart and checked everything thoroughly. We got our motor replaced for 500$ and that included their service call & OT from the second opinion company. I would not And services again for anything.

I had a plumber come to replace the inner workings of my toilet and replace the flapper. The plumber was very professional, courteous and efficient. The repair took less than half an hour. My only complaint was that the price was high.

Where do I start? i used this company 3 years ago to install new AC, air handler along with new tankless water heater. Of course, just like any company the initial installation was great. Of course, i havent paid them yet. Im a pretty loyal person when I use someone. They know my system and dont like changing. I am not a person that complaints to get free work or things cheaper. I like quality and consistency. But I think i have had enough. From constant no call and no shows (mind you i spent $17000 redoing things i need to get do), to rudeness. I have no idea how they price things but from being charged for things they installed and broke. I am not one to comment on things but had to on this one. Supervisors are rude which I wont name names. There was one supervisor that did make it right but after two service calls (which they were late). This last one did it. I called to service my tankless water heater. My appointment was scheduled and never showed up. The appt was for Feb 5, 2021. keep menaing to call. I am a very busy person. so i was called today to confirm my appt for the AC service and i asked why someone didnt show up to service my Tankless. the lady said well we dont service them. i tried to explain to her they do. they installed it and serviced it before. She insisted no. i asked to let me talk to a supervisor. she cam back and stated they did. Which i told her that was i was trying to tell her. at this point i wanted to talk to supervisor cause i wanted answers why no call no show. He stated (Malcolm, yes i named someone cause he was very rude) well she is new. im sorry but im a consumer and if they dont train their people who schedule appts right then why take the appt to begin with. At this point he started saying well what do you all want us to do, what is wrong with your Tankless? i told him nothing just need the yearly service. and stayed quiet and stated well did you book the apptointment. at this point im losing it. I didnt yell or raise my voice (which i really wanted to) but i didnt. i stated to him i guess you all dont want my business and maybe i will search for someone new. he comment ok. just amazing the service and follow through. and the funny thing about it i guess they dont know nothing about word of mouth but i sent 4 other people to them for AC replacing which they know nothing about. i took alot of time out of my busy work day to write this to explain this to others my experience for the last 3 years. BEWARE!!!! Your choice who you use but my recommendation dont use these guys. thank you all for reading.

Their customer service is horrible, no one EVER calls back. I spent $20000 on a new air conditioner system in Jan 2019. This is the third time since it was installed they had to come fix something. And the second time I will be paying for parts.I started called at 8.26 last night, no call back, was told about 2 hours, no one showed. called again about and hour later, same thing. called about about an hour later was told between 4am -10am the next day. no one showed. called again this morning, told between 11-12, called back 11.55 am, was told the rep would call be back, nothing. called again at 12.20, was told the technician had a family emergency, but they would get someone out by 4 pm. 4pm someone showed up, told us the blower motor was burnt out and it would be about $500, but they have to order the part. so now we no AC for at least the next day or so. AND I HAVE VIP SERVICE .Run away, dont walk, run. If any one else services the unit. It voids what little warranty I do have. Dont make the same mistake I did. Call someone else

PLEASE BEWARE, this organization is very dishonest and takes advantage of the elderly. My mother-in-law, lives in a fixed income like most seniors. She is also a very trusting individual and goes out of her way to help others. Last night her air condition unit wasnt working properly, my wife told her to find a reputable firm that can come out to look at her unit. She had read your reviews on Google and it showed a 4.7. Unfortunately, if she had taken a closer look at YELP rating, they have a 1.7 rating.The technician from And Services named Garth, showed up and my mother-in-law, greeted him. It did not take more 10 minutes, and he came back in and told her that the unit compressor, was not working anymore. He told her that the compressor was shocked and needed to be replaced. He used the analogy the compressor had a major heat attack.Because of the covid-19 epidemic, I was working from home, I could hear the technician Garth, telling her that she had two options, the first option was replacing the (DEAD COMPRESSOR, WHICH IN HIS WORDS DIED OF A MAJOR HEART ATTACK), had to be replaced at a cost of $3,275, the second option was installing a brand new unit for $10,021 but he was able to talk to his manager and she was going to get a discount of $3,006 dollars so it would only cost her $7,015 the generosity of his manager.Now, I was on the phone working from home, I had to stop and intervene because I could hear him pressuring her to decide what she was going to do.I induced myself and told him that we needed to get a second opinion before, we decided on which option we would select. I asked him additional questions, to clarify the options that were being presented. I also told him that we were going to get a second opinion and he got offended that I was questioning his expertise and he told me and my mother-in-law, that I was and idiot.To my astonishment, I was shocked that because my mother-in-law would not make a quick decision, I was an idiot did not know anything about Air Conditioning services. His correct, I am not an AC technician, I am a licensed professional in the financial and insurance industry, what I do know is one someone is trying to take advantage of a senior and smart enough to get a second opinion before she spent $7,015 on a new unit.We decided to call another AC Company, for a second opinion, the technician showed up he spent a total of 30 minutes, and the unit was fixed, and he said nothing was wrong with the compressor. The total cost was $300, we gave him an extra $100, for his honestly and professionalism. So, please be ware with this company, if I had not been around, they would have taken advantage of my mother-in-law. I wrote a previous review which I must now amend. I wish I could give star reviews for serviced separate from unit performance issues, but I am adjusting my previous 5-star review based on service which is still 5 stars in my opinion to a 1-star review based on the air conditioner unit performance itself. I purchased my home new 8 years ago with a Lennox a/c unit installed. Recently the unit caused water damaged due to coil issues. I called AND Services and after consulting with their a/c specialist my options were to replace the coil system or purchase a new unit. As it was explained to me, the cost to replace the coil system was almost as much as a new unit and I still may have problem in the future, so I decided to purchase a new Goodman a/c unit. I was told my old unit was too small for my home size, but the old unit kept my home extremely comfortable at 78 degrees. I was sold a new 4-ton Goodman unit to replace my existing Lennox 3.5-ton unit thinking the system would be uber efficient and that maybe I could lower my thermostat even lower and maintain the same level of efficiency and comfort. NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH! This Goodman 4-ton unit has giving me nothing but problems from the day it was installed. To start with the unit does not cool my home at 78 degrees, it never has since the day it was installed. I have contacted my a/c specialist several times in tears because this unit simple is not working in my home. I must maintain the thermostat at 78 degrees just to feel cool in my home. This unit is bigger than my old unit and burns more energy and works less efficiently then my old 3.5-ton Lennox unit which was smaller and used less electricity. AND Services has been wonderful and very understanding in responding to every call by dispatching someone to look at the unit and except for one tech who had no clue and did absolutely nothing, EVERYONE who has entered my home has been extremely courteous, understanding and have tried to help to the best of their ability. But it seems it is the unit not the professionals they are sending that is the issue. Each time someone comes out they measure static pressures, blowers and the flow of air coming out of my vents and say everything is running fine when the unit is running and during those times the unit does cool, it is when the air is not moving that my home feels warm and the fact that I CANNOT lower this unit below 76 and stay as cool as my old Lennox unit kept my home is extremely disheartening. I cry every time I think about how much money this unit cost (and it was over 7K) and the fact that it cannot outperform an 8-year-old smaller unit. I continue to stay in contact with AND Services about this less than 30-day old unit in the hope that this will be resolved soon but until then my review will remain unchanged from today. I do not know what else to do but I will continue to contact AND Services until this issue is resolved.

One of my tenants called this company to have the hot water heater checked without my knowledge. The service tech said the thermostat and heating element were shot and needed replacing and he would do it for $600. So I sent my plumber and it turns out the circuit breaker was off and the thermostat and heating element are fine. Btw, $600 is more than 3x as much as my plumber was going to charge me for same repair...if it had needed it.

WARNING WARNING WARNING! SCAMMERS!So Justin Caleb came to check on my AC, First of all he told me that it was an old unit (it was bought two years ago with receipt and its top of the line) and then he continued to tell me that nothing was wrong but the unit is 2.5 ton which is undersized for the house. The unit is 3.5 ton and was confirmed by two other companies (and the original receipt). I asked for a quote to be sent to me for what it would cost to replace the unit, he said they cant have anything in writing, but he will show me something he is not allowed to (BS) and gave me $7500 quote to replace my 3.5 Ton with another 3.5 ton. It will be funny unless some people probably fall for this scam. The other company that came by heard my story and right away said, was this cool now?, they know, they hear these stories all day.

Called them to come out, took 3 hours to get out to us. Didn’t do a thorough check. Just listened to the unit and said it could be this it could be that and you probably need a new unit. Quoted fees for replacing 3 different things, just seemed really high in price. We got a second opinion. They second opinion took our unit apart and diagnosed the motor, quoted us 300$ less than And services and that included a service call fee. And services are not giving a through check/diagnosis and just try to name off stuff to replace to make money. And they are way over priced.

Me and my fiance had been looking for an air conditioning company for about 3 weeks and got 4 or 5 quotes from different companys. Then we called Cool Now Air Condition company. Randy, the technician / sales person was great.. Randy was very knowledgeable, and honest about what he could do for us. We got a great deal on a top of the line trane 3 ton 16 seer unit. I had them redo the shelving my AC was sitting on as well as had a new AC system installed. They didnt have enough room in their van to take away to old outside unit and asked if it was alright for them to come pick it up in a day or two.Here I am four days later still waiting. Fortunately my bank blocked the payment thinking it was fraud, so until they can finish their job they arent getting paid.Edit: they did come and pick up the unit a few days after this review was posted

Called at 7:30am to have a technician come out right away as I had a sick wife and kid at the house with no AC. I was told I would receive a call from the tech when he was on his way sometime between 9:00 and 11:00 but Im sure we can get someone out there even sooner. Fine...awesome...well 11:30 rolls around and we still heard nothing so I called again to find out what the hold up was. She put me on hold to dispatch the tech and she returned to the line stating the tech was gonna call me immediately after I hung up. Another half hour goes by with still no call. I call for the third time with a bit more of an attitude and they again put me on hold to contact the tech who then calls me on the other line while Im still on hold. Seemed like a nice enough guy but says he cant get out to me for another hour and a half. I told him I had to call around to see if I could get anyone else sooner but asked for him to call me on his way out just in case I couldnt. He agreed to do so yet I never heard from him again. Luckily I did find another company that came out within a half hour of calling.Although its appreciated, theres more to customer service than being nice over the phone. I understand you want my business but if you dont have time to get to me, just be honest so I can move on to the next company that has the resources to. No hard feelings. A simple phone call from your end would have made this much more of a pleasant interaction.

Cool Now came to do maintenance on the air conditioner. Kevin inspected the duct work and found that it was not up to par due to age therefore, we were cooling the attic as much as we were cooling the house. Also the insulation layer had packed down due to age and needed to be replaced. The outside unit needed minor things fixed and lacked hurricane straps needed to be up to code. Kevin mentioned that a UV light would kill mold, bacteria, or mildew on the unit that would cause health problems. Thank heavens that the unit itself was in great running order. We should be all set for summer and saving on electricity because these repairs will be taken care today. Thanks Kevin!

Sold my house and had inspection done. Buyer requested ac be serviced. Called cool now and they sent some one over the same day! Brandon came by and did a thorough check of the upstairs and downstairs unit! Explained everything to me and set the new home owner up with a maintenance plan to make sure they understood the work that was done. Very professional and friendly service definitely recommend Brandon and Cool Now for any ac work in the central Florida area!

These guys were great. A/C unit died on Memorial day .they came out assessed the system found that the compressor was shot on a unit that was well over 10 years old. They were able to replace the unit successfully the same day. The workers were very polite and got the job done. I would definitely recommend this company.

Our air conditioner never seamed to cool the whole house like it should. We have a 4 ton unit. We called Cool Now and they assessed the air flow and the units in the attic. After they explained how they could make it better and more uniformed air flow we signed the agreement. What a professional job they did. They were in and out in two days. Every room is where it should have been in the first place. Jimmy one of there workers was excellent to work with. Now in the bedrooms at the end of the hall the rooms are cooler to sleep in. I highly recommend Cool Now.

Greetings! I would like to say that Brandon was recently here to check my 4 Ton central air unit. He is very professional, and I would highly recommend that when you CALL COOL NOW you ask for him to inspect your central air unit. He was able to answer all of my questions. IT always makes me feel Great when I have someone stop at my home and they actually like their job and are professional. I Owned a Successful Business for 12 years so I am very familiar with how a Business is suppose to run if they want to stay OPEN. Your reputation is everything and Lakeland is a very Small Town. All of the technicians were courteous and professional. When I called Friday night, I was told it would take 2-3 hours for someone to respond. A technician was on site in less than half an hour. He explained everything clearly and offered several options. We chose to replace the unit. Two technicians arrived Saturday morning and worked tirelessly until the new unit was up and running properly. I highly recommend this company.

Cool Now Air Conditioning is who you want if you’re looking to get your AC checked out or repaired. Our AC was on the fritz for four days before we decided to call anyone. We finally caved on Veterans Day when the temp just wouldn’t go down. It seemed to only kick on at night. The repairman came the next morning and within five minutes figured out that we just needed a new thermostat. He didn’t push us to get one from him, said that that was a cheap fix we could do ourselves by just buying one at the store but that if we did want him to install one, it’d come with service calls and maintenance but there was no pressure in that offer. He was easy going and helpful and didn’t even charge us for coming out. We will definitely call them again if we ever have any issues in the future.

I wanted to write a note about my experience with Cool Now out of Tampa, FL. They were hands down from start to finish the best service and sales team I have personally dealt with in a long time. When I contacted Cool Now about the non-cooling issue I was having with my air conditioning system, I was warmly greeted over the phone, and was assured my issue would be looked at right away. The service technician came to my home within an extremely timely manner from the time of my phone call and greeted himself with a smile on his face, and in a very professional manner. He then proceeded to get right to work, and diligently got right to the bottom of the issue. Unfortunately my A/C unit was over 20 years old, so I knew I was probably getting close to needing replacement at some point in the near future. That being said, I am more than happy to say Cool Now was the company I came across on Google and decided to call on that day for this whole process. I dealt with Justin their Sales Manager and Co-Owner of Cool Now, about the purchase of my new unit, which I got an unbelievable deal on, and Justin was extremely easy and professional to deal with, I was more than impressed. From my first phone call about service, to the sales team, and management as well as installers for my new unit that took care of the installation from start to finish, I would recommend Cool Now to anyone out there needing service, maintenance, or a new A/C units at their home. These guys are the real deal, you just dont find service like this anymore, and when you do, I suggest you hold onto it. Thanks to the entire team at Cool Now, I truly appreciate it. My 15 year old central HVAC system bit the dust (in spectacular fashion) during tropical storm Colin on Monday. As Ive endured some less-than-stellar service from another local AC company, I decided to Google ac repair and look around a bit. I saw Cool Now, noticed they serviced my area, and read the reviews, liking what I read. I called them with tempered expectations as it was getting late and the storm was still hitting us. They picked right up and a friendly coordinator said theyd have someone over that evening if I liked. I deferred to the next day and met with Randy who was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Randy inspected my system and presented me with my options including costs. I chose replacement due to the age of the existing system and inquired as to how long it would take to replace my 4-ton heat pump and separate air handler. MUCH to my surprise, Randy said he could have the job completed by the following evening. I think I mentioned to him that that would be some feat; he chuckled and said they’d get it done. Well, suffice to say, they did get it done, a crew of two showed up the next day and removed my old system and installed a brand new system in about 8 hours, AND they were very considerate, skilled, and thorough. I’m kind of amazed. Highly recommended.

Brandon and Justin E. was very professional and very detailed and took all of the time needed to explain everything to us and to get us approved for a loan to help offset the out of pocket expenses. I would recommend this company and the two technicians to all of my friends!! We are extremely happy! Tech was on time and courteous. After being told by One Hour Air my unit was shot, Cool Now told me it was just the condenser coil which parts were covered under my manufacturer warranty. Instead of the $10k-$14k that One Hour Air quoted me I was able to only pay $1,200 for labor. Recommend this company!!

Found the problem in a matter of a few seconds after checking a couple of things and had it fixed within 5 to 8 minutes at a very minimal cost to customer. Horrible customer service....we are in a rural area so that could be the difference but not one time in 5 or more appointments was the technician here in appointment time frame....also NO call stating they were running late until well after appointment time. Techs were personable & appeared knowledgeable but took 4 different techs to finally find the problem. During all this time I was in contact with manager, Edgar...he was argumentative, rude, not professional....we will continue maintenance just because it is paid for but Will NOT use your services otherwise....we found that although the part is under warranty, we still had to pay for any coordinating part & extremely high labor....would never recommend your company...

My mother had them run new tubing and they charged her 7000.00 I feel they took advantage of (then ) an 89 yr old woman . She could of had a whole new air conditioning unit and venting put in for that price. It’s a shame that workers would do this to someone who knows nothing of the subject and depends on their honesty to guide them to have the proper stuff done. Hi,My husband and I had noticed a horrible smell coming from our air conditioning vents, that was causing me breathing and upper respiratory issues. I called, and AND sent Connor out very quickly to clean our system. As he was cleaning, he took the time to open everything up to show me that the blower was covered in mildew and needed cleaned. As I am a Gulf War veteran and am extremely sensitive to mold/mildew/chemicals, he also suggested a UV light. He also explained that the system should be cleaned 2x per year and went over their membership costs/benefits (which included the 2x per year cleaning). He explained all of the pricing, with paperwork to show my husband when he got home.My husband and I called later that evening, and AND gave us a nice discount price on: a hard start assist (to extend the life of our system), the UV light, the blower clean, and the membership. They did not charge us anything for the cleaning the day prior. Connor showed up the next day and again took the time to show me all of the parts he was installing, how they functioned, and let me take pictures of the work for my husband (who was at work). He also used a special cleaner to clean our blower (that was less harsh than most chemical cleaners) to avoid irritating my lungs and sinuses. We used Greensky financing through them, which offers no interest payments for the 1st year. Connor explained exactly how this worked and approximately when our first payment would be. Connor was extremely polite, very helpful, showed up on time, and cleaned everything up behind himself. He was respectful of my home, and thanked me for my military service before he left.Our service was done on 11/6/2019. I waited to give this review to see how the unit functioned and for the financing company to contact us. One month later, and our system is running great, the smell is gone and my respiratory issues due to the air conditioning system are gone too. Greensky financing sent paperwork that was a little confusing, but one call later to them and it was very clearly explained. It was really easy to set up online payments through them.Thank you AND and Connor! So happy we chose your services.I do not work for AND, I am not related to anyone who does, and took the time to write this review for others needing quality Air Conditioning services. Brandon Copeland came to my home today to do a 6 month maintenance. I have had problems with this unit since the day it was put in. I had always said it wasnt big enough. Today when he asked me how the unit was performing I said so so. He said,not great. I told him it never did. We started talking and I told him everything I have experienced and that I finally just gave up. He agreed that the unit wasnt large enough and took the appropriate steps to rectify the situation. I now have the proper size unit for my home after a year and a half. Where has this young man been? Random is the best.

Financing was misrepresented, multiple appointments have resulted in no-call/no-show, we have an issue about once a month with the system they recommended and installed only 2 years ago, they ask us to pay something new every time, manager wont call me back.Save your time and money, and go elsewhere.**Update: John helped to find a possible solution for maintenance, going farward.
