Garabar for roofing - I definitely recommend. Professional. Courteous. Efficient. Tom (sales rep) & crew were amazing. Ordered considerably more shingles that needed & that is my only slight criticism. Liked them so much that I hired them without shopping around for painting/stucco. I do NOT recommend that you hire them for paint. For stucco - they unnecessarily removed a hurricane shutter. The paint started peeling in places within a week after completion. I was told that it was because of my original paint job in 1989. I had my house painted 3 times since I have owned it but this is the first time it was spray painted (also costly for spray painting). Contract stated that the cost would cover pressure wash, windows caulked, primer + 2 coats of paint. Later learned primer is in paint (= deceiving). The night the pressure wash was supposed to have happened, the patio was so dirty I assumed another delay. Next day, 2 coats of paint were said to have been accomplished (in extreme humidity). They broke a water spout on the patio & while I appreciate that they replaced it (without mentioning it), they drilled the concrete around the spout & filled the area around it with what seemed like putty. A couple of weeks after painting was done, a rain storm left water on my newly caulked window ledge. They came back 3 or 4 times to repair issues but there are still places where paint is peeling & I have decided to just get a brush & fix it myself as I do not want to have to leave work again to meet their contractor. Fingers crossed for the paint will not disinegrate the next time the house needs to be pressure cleaned.

We were very pleased with our Garabar Window experience from beginning to end.The Window crew showed up when they were supposed to, completed the job and always cleaned up after themselves. They taped the windows and work areas. The window installers worked very hard at cleaning up as they worked. We had minimal clean up inside/outside. Window installation was completed in a timely manner- as promised. Our windows look beautiful.The office staff was very efficient, professional & communicative. Any and all questions throughout the process were always addressed and answered. I would highly recommend Garabar for your window installation project. You wont be disappointed. Had a total roof replacement by Garabar. First impression: very professional. My salesman was involved in every step of the roofing process and kept me well informed. He took a genuine interest in making sure things were done right. Once the process started, every crew member involved was efficient and professional. They seemed to go out of there way to do the job right: protecting windows, cleaning up everyday, etc. I was very impressed with both the speed and care they took during the replacement. It was quite obvious that their goal was to do the job right. Communication at every level was top notch, from the workers to the front office, everything was seamless. The only issue I had was a broken exterior light which they took care of with no hassle at all. So not only were they by far the best price I was quoted (I had 3 other estimates) there workmanship was very impressive! I haven’t hesitated to recommend them to friends that were looking to replace their roofs. Highly recommended!

We chose Garabar to put a new roof on our house. We had heard only excellent things about them. Every one of the things we heard was true. Their communication was flawless. They came when they said they would. They did a phenomenal job when cleaning up after removing the old roof, including using a magnet to make sure every nail was taken away. They answered the phone on a Friday evening, My roof had been struck by lightening and I was unsure what the damage was under the broken tiles. My experience with Garabar was exceptional in every way, from first contact to post-work follow-up. The inspection (by Tom) to determine the location and scope of a substantial roof leak was addressed in a timely and professional manner despite an attic packed tight with insulation which made inspection cumbersome. The not to exceed estimate was fair and detailed. The work was expertly performed by Adiel and James, who patiently addressed questions and kept me apprised of progress throughout the multi-day job. More importantly, they determined that the scope of damage was more extensive than originally estimated, thus preventing further damage. Despite the scope change, and with it the increase in cost of the repair, Garabar honored the not to exceed estimate and absorbed the cost overrun. Finally, communication from the office staff regarding work progress and request for feedback from me was ongoing and professional. Final billing was detailed and included numerous pictures of work-in-progess for my records. In this world of frequently disappointing contractor experiences, Garabar exceeded my expectations and will be my go-to for future work. Highly recommended.

Choosing the right contractor is paramount when replacing windows and doors. A whole house of new hurricane windows and doors is a huge investment. Garabar is the right contractor! I highly recommend them, heres why:-I am new to Florida and needed education in hurricane windows and doors. Garabars sales rep didnt sell, he educated. He never hesitated to answer any question I had prior to (and after) getting the job. He was always patient and friendly.-the office staff is helpful and took care of all the paperwork and permits and so forth. They were always helpful and were quick to respond to correspondence.-when the time came for installation, I was contacted ahead of time so I would know what to expect and what the schedule would be.-the installation crew was great, went right to work, were efficient, skilled, and seemed to genuinely like their jobs and each other. When the crew is literally in and out of your house every day for a solid week, this is nice to see. They addressed any little concerns I had. The best part was that a supervisor was out at the beginning and end (and sometimes the middle) of every day to go over everything with a fine-tooth comb.-the quality and care that was taken during the installation were second to none. Follow-up and county inspection wrapped it all up immediately.

We were referred to Garabar by a friend in our community, and I contacted Larry Zimmerman to come take a look at our small roof leak. Larry came out, and then we were sent a proposal via email that the cost of the repair would not exceed a certain set amount. The technicians came out on the agreed upon day and time and spent about 9 hours repairing our roof leak. They were very thorough and professional, and when they were finished, I could not even tell that they had been there. They cleaned up everything, and the roof looked as good as new! When I received the invoice, I was pleasantly surprised that we had actually saved about $600. We paid the agreed upon amount (even though the normal repair would have been $600 more. Garabar was very professional in every way, and their technicians did great work!

Prior to installing a new on roof 3 ton package air conditioner, I needed to replace my flat roof above the carport . My new roof project was complicated by needing coordination between the Garabar Roofing and my air conditioning company. The new roof project had a few challenges with scheduling but ultimately the new roof was completed and the new A C unit was installed. We have had an outstanding experience with Garabar. Mary and I had watched the company working in a couple homes in our immediate neighborhood and were favorably impressed. Although some repairs had been done to our roof and we were very satisfied with the result, we felt that a company with more experience would be appropriate where we had an engineering report indicating that the total replacement of the roof was required. They did a temporary roof repair for me last year and I needed the same type of repair done again. The sales Rep Tom was extremely rude and unhelpful when I expressed that I wanted to pay with a check like I paid last year. He did not schedule me so I called the office and the girls were nice nut did not called me back to continue with the schedule as they promised. So I called again and they just transferred me to Tom who said that they will not do anything without full payment prior scheduling the job and said to look for another roofer. He is aweful to deal with and should not be in sales. I have the money to pay for a new toof cash if I needed to. Just aweful treatment.

I needed roof wood trim repairs due to rotted wood and termite damage.They lifted tiles, replaced fascia wood, sealed new drip edges and painted all the new roof trim surfaces. They were also able to locate replacement tiles which are no longer being fabricated. Garabar exceeded my expectations by far. They provided excellent workmanship. My neighbors recommended Garabar for re-roofing because of price and the work. When the one of sale person would gave me the estimate, it was at least 20% to 40% more than what my neighbors had it done, and he didnt even give me a reason why the price jumped. He even said he doesnt like doing business with the people in the community I live in, and told me to find someone else. Tried to give them another chance, so I called the office and asked them to have another sales man to give me an estimate, never got back to me. Garabar is starting to over charge just because they are making more profit now. Terrible experience with them.

Excellent installer, however they installed rake tile on my roof instead of what was in the contract Mortar. I would still recommend this contractor because their work is top-notch but they should definitely keep a closer eye on the project to help prevent these type of issues especially when there is an association (HOA) involved.

Very good in creating new leaks. They are working in my community and since they started I got my apartment wet twice, not to mention that they take forever to finish the job. Also they have to come inside and they take the whole day. Its been a month they are on the roof and the job doesnt seem to be close to end. Garabar was hired to repair the metal roof in our building. Garabars prices were fair and they were informative in what issues my roof were having. We had a small leak over our garage and called Garabar based on Angie’s list reviews. The roofers came out and fixed the problem quickly. When we noticed there was still a small leak (after the next storm that hit) they returned promptly and fixed the leak for good. We had a blue tarp over our roof that our HOA was starting to fine us on, and when we contacted Garabar they came out quickly to access the damage and within a week the leak was fixed. First off, we started looking for a roofing company in May. I asked for recommendations from friends and on our local blogs in our community. Certain companies did stand out. This was during a time when we had a huge amount of rain over the previous month. Based on these recommendations, I could not get anyone to call me back or it was going to take 3 to 4 weeks to get anyone out to even look at our roof. One of those companies was one that I used before. After endless no return calls, or sky high estimates, I decided to search the internet for a roofing company. I found one that seemed to stand out, Garabar Roofing. I called them, and they were nice from the start. They had Jack call me back, within 30 minutes of my initial phone call and he was able to come out that day to look at our roof. WOW! I couldnt believe it! He was pleasant to deal with and gave me an estimate right there on the roof repair. He was upfront and honest about what he thought about the repair. I also wanted an estimate to replace the whole roof and he emailed that estimate the same day! I had my roofing company! I decided to replace my whole roof and Jack made the process very easy from the start. The longest part was waiting for permits. Once that was done and I was scheduled, it took no time at all. The roof was done within 2 weeks, and the longest part again was waiting for the Dry In inspection. They were professional and left the property as clean as it was before they started. I had my roof complete within 2 months of starting the process with Garabar. Most of it being permits/inspections. Considering what I had been through prior to that, I was very happy and impressed with the way Garabar and Jack took me through this process. They made it seem easy. Im very disappointed to have to write this review.First the positive, because Ive had 2 very different experiences with Garabar. Last year I had a roof replaced. I had a very good experience working with Tom. He was thorough and the quote was very fair. I was very pleased with the quality of the work that was done.There were a couple hiccups along the way in that I run a short-term rental and was very clear about having a small window of opportunity in which the installation could be done. I was disappointed that they came and stripped the roof in a couple days, then waited a week before commencing any installation. As a result, the work took much longer than the estimate. Also, they left things a bit messy, including some issues on my chimney that they did come back and resolve weeks later. Normally, this would not be an issue, but, again, I run a short-term rental. Also, the workers broke a lamp in my kitchen with their banging. They did replace it, but Tom acted very annoyed about needing to do so.Now, fast forward to my latest experience. Months ago, I contacted Garabar about window replacement, because overall, I was happy with the install and I thought I could work with them to better understand how delays affect my business and get an understanding up-front regarding not having delays after commencement. Anyway, I didnt hear back for months. Then, after several phone calls (with a weeks delay at one point), I finally had an appointment, although he did say that I did not need to be here...he would just take measurements. I informed him at the time that I was doing other work on the house and was scheduling him around other workers. The rep said he was on his way between 2 & 3. He didnt arrive. After 3, he said he was running late. At 3:56, he told me he would come the next morning. I declined. Clearly, they didnt need my business.

Garabar installed my impact resistant windows and one sliding door last year. The work performed was very neat and quick and the workmanship was tremendous. I also had Garabar send painters to my home to repair stucco and paint the outside in it entirety. Once again the job was handled quickly and efficiently and there was no sign the painters had been here once they were done. I would recommend Garabar to anyone who wants a quality job.

Our home needed a roof repair and this company did a great job. They responded quickly and had a gentleman come out the same day to give us a quote. The gentleman was friendly, professional and up front. This company gave us the lowest quote and did a great job fixing our roof. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs roof services

My Mother had an excellent experience with Garabar. They were prompt in giving an estimate and doing the actual job. The employees were very nice and helpful. This is a very honest company. I do not hesitate to recommend them.

The worse experience with a contractor that Ive ever had! My HOA has them as preferred vendor and it has been over two months and no quote yet! I called the office and their secretary says they are too busy, and there is nothing she can do for me. The PM called the owner AJ whom called me and disappeared saying a proposal was going to be made. I at least hope that after this review someone has the consideration to call me and get this resolved.

Boy are they good! Response time is excellent as is the quality of their work. They answer the phone LIVE whenever you call. I would highly recommend them! 10 Stars

Garabar, Inc. recently finished replacing my Grandmother Helens roof. She said that they were, Very efficient, courteous, and did not leave until they cleaned up. She felt very confident that they would get the job done and she is very pleased with the results. She would definitely recommend this company to a friend. Her roof looks wonderful!

Gil is a very informed salesman and helped me make the best decisions and work with the city getting approval from the historical board and permits. Garabar did a complete reroof for me. From initial estimate to final inspection the employees of Garabar went above and beyond any of my expectations. A supervisor talked to me every day from tear down to final inspection ensuring to answer any questions. Plus a big shout out to the workers, they were the most professional and well trained I have ever encountered. A final note: Garabar worked with me in financing this project through the PACE Program and Renew Financial. Garabar made certain things were as stress less as possible for me. 5 Stars and I HIGHLY recommend Garabar.

Start to finish, Tom was there to answer all questions. Office was accurate and all paperwork was correct. Estimate was totally accurate. Tom took one look and knew what we needed. The crews were neat, fast, professional. Tom was super quick to respond to any questions. The roof looks absolutely beautiful. We are so happy! The new cement tiles are georgeous! We did our homework, and chose Garabar, it was a great choice. Awesome warranty, great people, no damage at all. They covered everything, driveway, pool, air conditioner. Great crews, very professional, tear off to tiled in less than 2 weeks. These guys do not mess around! Could not have dreamed of a better experience!

Garabar did a great job on my roof replacement. It was amazing how quickly the work was completed. They were extremely professional whenever I called and always sent me whatever I needed right away. While it would be nice to have one contact throughout the entire project, this was our 2nd time doing business with them and we wouldnt go anywhere else.

If I could give a negative star, I would. We had nothing but negative experiences with Garabar from start to finish. After getting the signature on our contract, the representative lacked follow up and follow through. The work was postponed multiple times without prior notice - they just didnt show up. Once the work began, there were new issues found daily that kept increasing our cost. Knowing that the sale of our house was dependent upon completion of our roof....we were held hostage and at the mercy of doing whatever it took to get the job done. If the devil himself had the only other roofing company that could do the job - I would choose his company over Garabar.

I got my roof replaced by Garabar Roofing. They did a great job and the roof came out beautiful. The whole crew was very professional. I highly recommend Garabar Roofing for your next roofing project.They finished on time and on budget.

My roof was leaking and by the time I noticed it, I definitely had some mold issues. Garabar truck was here before I hung up the phone (nearly). When the guys took a look they gave me confidence that it was a quick fix and would not require mold remediation (phew). They patched the roof leak and dried out the moisture. Problem solved, quick and easy.
