Home Team Pest Defense does a very thorough job. They clear the exterior of the home of webs and other insect nests. I was absolutely impressed by the time taken and how clean all of my door frames, window sills and walk ways were after my first service. I would highly recommend Home Team Pest Defense over other pest control agencies. Great service!

I moved into my home less than a month ago (9/23). I found a dead termite around two weeks (on 10/9) after moving into the home. During the walkthrough of my home the Lennar representatives informed my wife and I that the home is covered for up to the first year for termites through a company called Home Team Pest Defense. My wife and I placed a work order through Lennar’s website to solve this termite issue. On 10/22 a representative from Home Team Pest Defense arrived and asked if I had evidence of the termites. I informed him that it almost two weeks ago and while I have a picture of the termite, I did not realize they wanted a sample. The representative called said he called his boss, Robert Rodriguez, and that his boss said they would not provide me with any service due to not having any proof of what type of termite it is. In the past I have had numerous pest control companies come to spray for termites or other pests and never have they refused to provide me with service if I could not produce the pest. Every day people hire companies to prevent damage caused by termites and other pests. This company refused to to provide any treatment at all. When we spoke I could sense an attitude of not caring at all about my issue. The representative did not even check my home at first. The rep said he won’t do anything, said goodbye, and then came back after he said his boss suggested he look around the home. This company couldn’t even do the bare minimum until I said that I was not happy with the how his company treats clients. When asked, the representative explained a very elaborate story as to why they need to identify the type of termite so that they can determine where the termite comes from and in turn not provide service unless it falls under a strict criteria. I have never heard such a complicated reason to simply provide treatment for pests. The one year service is provided by Lennar and not free. Save your money and choose a company that cares about the clients.

Felix was absolutely amazing and behold professional - answered all of my questions prior to be scheduling a appointment for service .Curtis “ tech “ who came to my house was right on time, asked me if had any concerns, explained everything he was going to do step by step and the reason . All I can say top notch dealing with both Felix and Curtis . So professional, both called to check up after they did the service .

Avoid avoid avoid!!!My experience on using them.I have the Taexx system installed by Lennar builder. The system is great, however very disappointed in their service.When you get a service call for treatment, the technician comes and does whatever he wants except what you called in for. After calling back to re-do the service, they show up again and do something else except what you called them for. I am then having to do the pest control myself as it is quicker, more effective than calling them a third time.I have left reviews and feedback on the service with HomeTeam Management and only an apology call was received but no improvement on service was made.In all service calls over a year only once they did the service complete as advertised and contracted. I had a mice go in the house, reported it, technician showed up and did everything except add traps for the mice. I had to trap it myself.This is borderline ineptitude for a company this size and level.Avoid this company at all costs until they can do a better job with customer service and find a way for technicians to do what they were trained to do. Even if is having a manager inspector travel after the service was performed to ensure quality.

It was a bit Expensive. Especially compared to others. However the gentlemen that came to help was extremely professional and just as important helpful. He explained everything in detail and was very nice even with my asking of many questions. I recommend.

First time inspection and quarterly treatment. They clearly explained the entire process.

Pretty decent service. But given I had to remind the tech 2 weeks later to bring traps to a clients house that has a rodent issue they arent my favorite. I texted with a specific issue, met the tech. We came up with, what I thought was a great plan, especially because the property is on the market. He was going to text me later that day so I could convey the information to the owner and get authorization. Well, tech went on vacation instead. I understand that most of us that are still working are highly stressed, but I think that when you make a plan with a client or their representative, you should wrap it up before going vacation, especially given the gravity of the situation at hand. 2 weeks later, when he returned, it was rectified. But I still had to deal with the issue on my own before showings, tell my client what was going on, which is something I normally do behind the scenes. They normally never know what I do. They just discreetly receive a bill. So, my only advice would be, if you need additional services, during these uncertain times, get them done and documented while the tech is on site. But otherwise, they are a good service.

We recently moved into our home and I met Corey servicing our neighbors house. I saved his card and he told me that he had treated our house for the old owners and at their new home.So glad I saved his number because a few weeks later we had a huge infestation of ants. He came the same day and treated the problem areas. So professional and I am so grateful that our ant problem is resolved.

Great and personal service. The man that comes tour house, Elijah, has been servicing us for years. Super customer service, always calls a day ahead to let us know he’s coming (we do automatic quarterly service) and we’ve never really had a problem with pests. Once we did have an issue with some “sugar ants” and it was handled quickly and brought additional supplies that I could use inside the house to help, at no extra charge. It’s convenient and effective.

I used HomeTeam for 7 years but was constantly frustrated by their inadequate billing system. Its horrible! I would renew my contract by prepaying for my services but every quarter it was the same thing...I would get an invoice for an outstanding balance and have to call to get it straightened out. It was so aggravating!! And even the administrative staff would agree that their billing system was horrible. Additionally, the breakdown down was never itemized correctly. For 7 years! I finally cancelled with them. Took me long enough to stop hoping it was ever going to change.

I have been a customer for nearly 5 years and have been very satisfied with the two services provided for 1) termites and 2) pests. No occurrence of either insect during that period. Technicians appear very knowledgeable and they are friendly.I had some billing questions due to mix-ups between two accounts, the questions were resolved. Office management and staff are outstanding.

We have had their pest control service since 2001. We have never had a roach in the house. Occasionally some ghost ants but they came out right away and took care of it free of charge. Our tech is very friendly and thorough! I would highly recommend!

I cant remember the last time I saw a live bug within 6 of our home! We live in a very rural area so we figured bugs would be just a part of our daily routine, especially since we have horses, goats, dogs and cats. To our utter amazement we have been bug free for 4 years now and have never had any bad effects to our pets or ponds like so many toxic pesticides can cause. We started using them for pest control inside our home, then our technician asked if we wanted to check for termites and Im glad he did. Even thought we have a CBS home it turned out we did have termites in the ground so he installed termite prevention around the perimeter of our home.
