I took my severely pandemic neglected vehicle to Tropical Car Wash for the first time today, hoping against hope that they could resurrect her to presentable condition. Her paint job, yellow, was suffering as well. Much to my pleasant surprise they not only hand washed, waxed, vacuumed (the works) to the ultimate degree but they performed magic with the paint finish. I cannot recommend this business enough! A customer for life, thank you, Steve.

Stop searching for a car wash and come here! This is the ONLY place you should bring your car to get a thorough wash, wax, and cleaning. This family owned business is amazing! I live on the beach and my cars get nasty from the salty air. I was shocked to see the after because the before was a disaster. My car sparkled, it smelled fabulous, and every nook and cranny was vacuumed. How did you do it?!?!?! Even the sand stuck in the little crevices was gone. I can not say enough about this place. The staff is super friendly and the extra bonus is the fun waiting room with old school video games.PS My Jeep has plastic windows and I won’t take her just anywhere. I am extremely picky! So happy I found this place.

They are simply the most convenient and best around. Walking distance from almost everywhere so you dont have to wait for hour car to be cleaned. They have such a sweet and friendly staff. They are the only place i go and yes i have my VIP window sticker. Lets see they do my Truck, my charger, my Maverick,...hmm thats all my vehicles...Super cool place and they are FAST and detailed. provided you get there when the line is not around the corner...my only issue is that almost EVERY TIME i get an amzing car wash...Rain comes right after..it just happend today again..I am cursed...but that isnt ther fault...i love that they make me feel good for being old and looking young hahaha...keep my ego up up ladies...If you have been looking for great car wash at great price...then you have to go to Tropical...tell them AJ sent you...

Steve and his team at Tropical Car Wash has great service and friendly staff. They really took the time to ensure my paint shined and paid special attention to the areas which I felt needed more TLC. I believe this is the best hand wash in Lake Worth by a long shot… if you need your car detailed or just a quick cleaning don’t look anywhere else, Steve and his team will take care of your car as if it was their own!

The professionals at tropical car wash always have the best interest in the customer, with their precise and meticulousness whether Vacuuming, washing, waxing. They do it all and they do it all Correctly! I have yet to find a more efficient and hard working team, if they ever have any questions, concerns or recommendations they always bring it to my attention first which shows how honest of a crew they are. They have been working on all my vehicles for about 5 years now and I don’t plan on switching up to anyone else. Everyone I have referred to them says the same thing, that they’ve found they’re permanent car wash no matter what vehicle. They really pay attention to detail and always go the extra mile!

You can’t beat the value of this place, inside and outside done for $25. Listen for $25 your car is not going to be spotless in every crevice, but I have gotten a full detail here and it was immaculate. For a quick clean you can’t beat the cost and thoroughness. I wish I could comment on the quality of the car wash; I can’t because I wasn’t informed that, after VERY promptly taking my money (payment for the wash), that I would be left in my car waiting with no instructions or guidance about how to proceed. After observing the line for the car wash not progress/move for 10 minutes, I went inside to request a refund. When I explained that I had a meeting I was going to be late for, I was treated very rudely. This whole negative experience could have EASILY been avoided if the owner/operator I interacted with had COMMUNICATED to me about how the process would work - managing guest expectations (especially since I shared that this was my first visit). Perhaps customer service isn’t important to everyone; it is to me, so I won’t be going back.

My 1996 red Jeep was very oxidized and looked awful. I took it into Tropical Car Wash and the hand wax job they did was amazing. It far exceeded my best expectations!! They did a really great job and everyone I came into contact with was courteous. It took longer than anticipated but at the end of the day I am very happy with the results and will definitely return.

Three stars is just a bit generous.I come to this car wash often, and only use the self-serve; Ive never paid their staff to wash, so I cant comment on how good their hand wash is.This car wash is small, having only three self-wash bays. The building seems old, and the bays are the most narrow of any car wash that I can recall using. I have a two-door car, and when I open the drivers door to get out I have to be very careful that I dont smack my door into the wall; its kinda claustrophobic in there to me, and it can be a challenge to move around in there when youre trying to clean quickly.Because this place is older, the selector control is a knob that you turn, and when I went there today the knob was loose, making it difficult to tell which setting was chosen, which wastes time trying to figure it out while the clock is running down. Oh, and there is no visible clock timer. There is an audible beep to let you know when your time has almost run out, but I usually cant hear it over the noise of the sprayer.What I do like at this wash is that when you dont pull the handle of the sprayer for the high-pressure spray, you get a low-pressure spray, which is perfect for convertible tops; washes that only have high-pressure spray can tear the stitched seams of convertible tops (I did that to my Miata years ago). Since the other washes around here seems to only have high-pressure wash, this is the main reason I still go here, to protect my cloth top from high-pressure damage.The previous time I went there a few weeks ago, the soap spray had no soap, just water.

Honestly not a good place they nit pick on what they do i got the works wash and the guys didnt even wipe the interior mirrors so my girl flys into state and thinks Im a slob because all the mirrors in the interior of my car are dirty how did I pay over $20 to have my mirrors avoided

They block off the one self-serve lane AND the other two lanes you could drive through, leaving only full-serve. Went to another full-serve just out of spite. Pretty sleazy place.

I own Tropical Car Wash. I want to apologize to George P who had a bad experience at the self serve bays. There was a time when my stewardship of the business was in question and things were not always working as they should have. I have resolved those issues (as much as is possible with so many mechanical features) and have recently invested many thousands of dollars in improvements to that area. George, if you will be kind enough to come back in, please introduce yourself and Ill make it up to you! We have always strived to make your experience here, whether at the Self Serve or Full Serve Hand Wash, a great one. We will keep on trying. If you ever have a problem here, please just let us know and we will ALWAYS make it right.

My fiancée and I recently moved to Greenacresand have tried several other car washes. The guys here are very thorough and really take their time and do an out job. Very reasonable too.

Love this place for a friendly, affordable, thorough self-service carwash. $2 gets you 4 minutes of rinse, wash with soap, rinse, and clear coat. Vacuums, too for 5 minutes for $1.50.

The work is OK but the cashier told me of i wanted my rubber mats rinsed i would have to go out and ask the washers myself, she seemed very annoyed that I even asked. Then she and another employee sat in front of me complaining about tips from customers. They were speaking in Spanish and incorrectly presumed I did not understand. ..

By far one of the lowest car washes Ive been to. They didnt wash the inside of my rims. And left dirt on the skirt of my car. And also left smeared soap on the windshield.Highly unrecommendable
