Harvey & his crew did a marvelous job repairing my wife’s Subaru Outback exhaust! What would have cost me in excess of $1500 elsewhere only cost me a fraction of that. While the cost is only part of the consideration, the work was done in a professional manner. I am extremely happy with their work ethic‘s and I hope to use their services in the future should I need them.

Its a good solid place. Would recommend. Good prices, honest quality work. The owner seem honest and does not push to sell what you do not need. I took my truck in to install a resonator. I can do it myself but I do not have the space or the equipment for welding. Charged me less than every other place and did a good job.I do not give it 5 stars because, customer service is not the friendliest, kinda dry and one sided conversation on their side. He seems to only want to hear his voice. Also, the shop is not the most comfortable place to sit... but that is true to any Real Mom and Pop Shop. Besides that, I would recommend the place to anyone that needs certain jobs done. Or to at least get a quote first before going to any other place. I definitely recommend to anyone looking to do exhaust and tire work... the rest, I would need to experience first before recommending.

If anybody is looking for an honest and excellent auto repair shop, Harveys Trail Brakes & Muffler is the place I highly recommended. Harvey, the owner, is very polite, honest, knowledgeable and professional.I took my wifes Toyota Camry to be repaired about 6 months ago and they did an excellent job. Today I took my Ford F-150 to be repaired because the coolant was leaking. I looked under the truck and didnt know where the leak was coming from. The mechanic diagnosed the problem very quickly and replaced the water pump.(no more leaks). The cost of the repair was very reasonable too. Services provided by this auto repair shop exceeded my expectation. Thank you Harvey for a job well done again.

We were given a quote elsewhere of $1,000 due to what an unnamed chain just east of them on Lake Worth Rd said was a bad battery and bad alternator. We called Harvey and got a price quote about $400 lower. So, we brought it to him instead. We get a call a couple hours later that the repair is complete - but the price is under $100. Why? The alternator was fine and the battery was defective but under warranty. So, we paid for the tow truck and for diagnostics only. Harvey has earned our lifelong trust and our recommendation, which does not come easily.

My 16 year old son was at a convenience store this afternoon, he explained that he was ambushed by a promoter trying to sell him a red discount booklet for free oil changes good for a year. I decided to look into this further to better understand the product being promoted. To my surprise there are many negative reviews regarding this promotion. Word of advice to the owner: Please train your promoters to pitch a sale to qualified consumers. I am a Sales Training Manager and the first thing one should be trained to look for is qualified buyer. A minor should never be approached, regardless of how aggressive your team is, laws must be observed. Good luck in all your endeavors.

DON’T LET THE RED COUPON BOOK FOOL YOU!! Even if everything at Harvey’s was $0, it would be a waste of money. I went in to get my oil changed and it ended up taking 3x as long as any other time I’ve gotten my oil changed because they couldn’t figure out how to turn of the service light. I thought that was something they taught mechanics on the first day. Whatever madness they did to turn it of resulted in my blinkers and lights not working. When I called to let Harvey know he said he didn’t know what happened and that I need to check the owner’s manual and figure it out. Left me speechless. I’m never going back and don’t recommend anyone ever go there. It’s been months and I’m still working out issues from a simple oil change. Terrible!

What can I say about Harveys? ALOT. My first experience with them was in 2000 when I had the exhaust installed on my Dodge ram. That exhaust was still on that truck 12 years later when I traded it in. No issues. Lets fast forward. Last two years Ive had my 2007 e250 van in here for misc things. Brakes transmission work, belts and tensioner. Not once have I had an issue with any repairs to my van.I also have a 2008 avalanche ltz.This truck over all is in mint condition just hit 100000 miles. However, Ive had brakes done front and back, front suspension replaced, tune up done, all 4 door handles replaced, power stepside motor replaced, even had a fuel issue and had that fixed as well.Lets forget the fact he has some of the lowest LABOR and PARTS prices in town. When was the last time you went to get your car worked on and worried about being scammed? I wont name other companies for legal reasons but they are all within 2 miles of this shop. Hes honest, he does what he says hes going to, at times even takes it a step up without charging you just to make sure the issue you brought it in for is fixed. I can have my wife go there without worrying about her getting ripped off.This kind of service and dedication to this business that continues to get new customers and keep the ones you have coming back. I personally wouldnt go anywhere else for repairs on any vehicle. Thats including my wifes 2012 Camry.If you can find a more straight forward, honest, reliable auto repair company then this. Then you wouldnt be on here reading reviews.Thanks again for everything you have done this year. Im not looking forward to the next repair, no one is. But if I have to, I at least know I can count on you to do it right and do it right the first time..... Until then, thank you Harvey and Chris for all the repairs and work this year.

I had been taking 2 of my older cars here for 10+ years. Owner Harvey is usually good in providing transparency in their work. However in the past year or 2 I have had problems/poor results which has me taking my business elsewhere.Specifically I had a brake job done. After a couple months brakes were squeaking extremely loudly, to the point of very high annoyance and concern. Took vehicle back and had Harvey’s take a look. They explained that brakes needed appropriate lubricant, which I had to pay for. This helped slightly for a few weeks, then squeak was back as loud as ever.I ended up taking vehicle to dealership, where they explained the wrong rotors were installed, and new ones needed to be purchased and installed. Much money and time was wasted, and trust was broken.

Harveys shop is literally the best shop around these parts. I was quoted $150 everywhere else to weld on a brand new muffler that I already had purchased from Pep Boys. Not only did Harveys beat that price, they MORE THAN CUT IT IN HALF, welding my muffler on for only $70, flat rate. I was blown away. Harveys really knows the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was beyond pleased with the finished product; professional work at a cheap price. Thanks a lot, guys! Ill be coming back to you to fix my shocks.

Harveys Trail is the best around. I live in the Fort Lauderdale area and drove an hour to bring my 1995 Chevy k1500 in to have the exhaust redone from engine block back. Good mechanics are a dime a dozen but great mechanics are hard to find. And these guys are great!They put the headers I bought on perfectly and did exactly what I wanted. 2.5 Y-pipe to 3 single exit, with Flowmaster muffler. My truck is lifted so the Y-pipe had to be custom made in order to fit properly amidst the suspension components and front driveshaft. Chris did an amazing job! It looks awesome, sounds just how I wanted it, and most important, got rid of the restrictive OEM design. Flows much much better. Improved fuel economy and better throttle response. More power across the RPM range. I can actually feel a difference, not just hear it.Thanks yall. You just made a customer for life.Jason

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had to deal with related to my car. They cut my custom exhaust off my car and supposedly scrapped it installed something totally different and claimed he didn’t know what I’m talking about .I would never recommend you go to the shop I didn’t have a video of him stealing my stuff but I no longer have it on my car . Buyer beware these guys claim to be a custom shop if the trash custom parts I’m not sure what that says about them I’m out of luck don’t let it happen to you !!!!!!!!!!! These guys are unethical and not what they claim to be . At this point my intent is to return with the police

Owner charged me $125 for a 15 minutes job, i was unable to do it myself buy that was a rip. Kept talking trash about his next door neighbor the used tire guy the entire time. Thats low profile, especially that theyre not even in the same business.

The guy running the business is real friendly and at a minimum theyll get the job done.they cut me a deal where i spent $70 for a little red coupon book that gets me several free oil changes and various other benefits all for that one up front price. later finding out that i was lied to that it only takes a small discounted price off and practically paying full price for the oil change on top of the that. and the coupon book was recognized they knew exactly what it was.when i showed it.this is a legitimate business, they just scam, cheat and lie right to your face during a sale. i dont know who was in charge of selling 150 of those coupon books but cause of him they lost my respect and business.and no, i would not be interested in your extended invitation to call and talk about the issue

I went again and I have to say the service has never changed. This time I needed new rear brakes and rotors. I had tried to change the brakes previously and was afraid of shearing the bolts, so I brought it to Harvey. Thank god I didnt, because I had the wrong brakes pads. Thanks Harvey for calling the store I got them from and exchanging them with no issues. He replaced the rotors and pads in no time and I was back on the road to my clients. Thanks Harvey.
