Our truck got a flat on our way out of Havasu, and we contacted Blue Angels. Ricardo answered the phone immediately and was incredibly kind and helpful from the start. After we were charged an outrageous price (1400)to get our travel trailer and truck towed off of highway 40 into needles the truck driver suggested a mechanic which was not even a mechanic shop. We left over night and didnt feel good about it. The next day we found Ricardo at blue angels roadside service he understood our concern and went right over to pick up our truck, towed it to Havasu where we were headed then came back to pull our trailer into Havasu. All this and he was in such good spirits and he gave us a good price . It was such a relief and comfort to have Ricardos services. Ricardo, owner of Blue Angels Roadside Service, extricated my camper van from sand when I ventured off I-40. As an older woman traveling alone it was reassuring to know he was on his way and I was impressed with his passion and enthusiasm for his work. He took a great deal of care in freeing my van from the sand and made sure I was safely on my way before he left the site. I highly recommend him.

Ricardo saved our vacation.. we have a golf cart that apparently needed new batteries. We where in havasu at the Islander for a couple of weeks and as you all know it’s very important to have transportation within the park. After calling around all morning to find a repairman we got turned onto Ricardo from interstate. Ricardo was punctual, knowledgeable and very nice to talk too.He wasn’t a salesman or high pressure just a very knowledgeable mechanic who recommended doing the repair right the first time. He not only replaced the old 8 batteries, but completely cleaned and repaired the battery trays. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with his work. Had an axle failure on my boat trailer Friday night at 6pm. Tow truck arrived quickly, loaded my boat carefully delivered my boat and trailer to the shop, covered the boat and sent me pictures. Wish all businesses had this type of customer service!

Ricardo is the man! We were in lake Havasu for spring break with my 32ft Lamar flatbed trailer. On the way in my brakes were not working. He got us fixed up at a reasonable price and ready to get home safely at the end of the week. Straight shooter, very thorough, totally stand up guy and service! Stranded on a Sunday with a bad alternator. They knew I was in jam with both finances and transportation and he was extremely forthright explaining the most cost effective way to get me back on the road quickly. What an incredible experience dealing with Blue Angels Roadside Service. We were headed out on a road trip and our truck would not start. After calling our roadside assistance service they dispatched Blue Angels Roadside to help us. Ricardo was there in within 10 minutes at 5:30 am! He was professional and very knowledgeable about the electrical system on our truck and he had all the equipment and tools to diagnose the problem.Ricardo could have easily said we needed a tow and charged our insurance but he gave us a solution to get on the road after discovering it was the starter. I would give them 10 stars if I could. My boat was stuck in Kingman for 5 days as I was trying to find someone who would tow it back to lake Havasu. After calling every single towing service in kingman and surrounding areas I finally gave blue angels a call. Ricardo ask me for a picture and in 15 minutes he had me taken care of and was on his way to get my boat. He send me photos and kept me updated with the whole process. Ricardo was beyond fantastic. He created the best roadside service call I have ever received. He showed up very quickly, texted while on the way and got right to work. He was able to diagnose the issue in detail and make suggestions. He explained things in a way I could understand and had no issues answering my questions. He went to the store to grab what he needed and came back quickly. Installed a new starter, a new battery and filled several fluids. Everything he touched he left it in a better condition than it was before he got there. The fact he was able to do this all while on the side of the road was beyond convenient. He had every tool and then some. If I could give 1,000 stars I would.

Boat trailer problem that required towing. Blue Angels was there in less than 15 minutes, very professional, very friendly and explained how he was going to get the boat and trailer on the flat bed. Good communication, perfect execution. Not happy about the trailer issue but very happy with the tow service. Hopefully I’ll never be in another tow situation but if it happens I will be calling Blue Angels.

This gentleman and his company was highly recommended from caleb at autozone after I had an engine light checked there and thought best to have a mechanic look at it before I had to take the 5 hour drive back home.He came to me within 10min. Did a very thorough exam of my car to weed out what was the cause of my issue and explained all he was doing the whole time. He pin pointed the problem, Fixed it and the cost was very reasonable. I’m so glad that I decided to have someone look at it before I headed back home. I totally would have ruined my car if I hadn’t. He was very professional and it was done at my convenience. He was very attentive to the timeframe I was in town and didn’t disrupt my schedule at all which was very impressive to me being that I have work early and leave for home tomorrow. We called and he came very quickly to the aid of my daughter who was stranded with a dead alternator. He installed it and the fee was very fair considering it was roadside service. He also checked her oil and other things to make sure the car was road worthy. He was literally the only person that would come. We were so thankful.

I got in to some car trouble with my battery when heading to havasu. I was about 30 miles out when we stopped to stretch but then our car didnt want to start. Called a couple places to find out they are closed or wait time was long. I stumbled upon Blue Angels and Ricardo answered. Let me tell you something this guy is hungry and eager to help. He immediately said no problem and asked where I was which he immediately came no later than 30 min. He checked out my car and noticed our battery was depleted which he immediately recharged and got us going. He made it feel as if I called up a brother or buddy of mine to help as he treated us like family and even got us water as it was a very hot day. This is my go to place for now on for any needs I have when I come to Havasu. Thank you !

I was 1 day into my cross country move from LA to Chicago. I had had some new noise coming from under the hood of my car the day before (not the time you want your car to make new noises when you’re about to move!) and took it to a local mechanic in LA. It was a quick inspection and the mechanic there told me it was the AC compressor making the noise. I was good to drive, just couldn’t use the AC. Being as it was December I wasn’t planning on using the AC anyways.So the next day I set out as planned. And as luck would have it, as soon as I crossed into AZ my car started making a much louder noise! Cue the dreaded battery indicator light appearing in my dash. I pulled off at the first gas station I found, about 5 mins down from when the light first appeared. Popped the hood, with smoke now emitting, and discovered the serpentine belt had completely come undone!Fast forward from the AAA call and the tow truck arriving...Luckily the tow truck driver recommended a “mobile mechanic” that would drive out to me and my vehicle to make any needed repairs to get me on my way. I had never heard of such a thing, but it is a complete life saver!I spoke to Ricardo, explained the situation and what I thought was a bad AC compressor, and the new issue of the belt. Ricardo informed me he could replace the belt, the pulley, and the compressor, and get me on the road that same day! He gave me a estimated ETA and arrived exactly when he said he would! Got to work immediately, only to discover the real issue. It wasn’t a bad AC compressor, but rather the water pump was completely done for. Ricardo called all around town to try and get a hold of the part but unfortunately there were none to be had. He did inform me he could get the part the next day, and get me back on the road by the afternoon. Clearly that day wasn’t meant to be mine, but I can say it could’ve been a lot worse had it not been for his assistance!I felt sure I was going to be at that gas station another few hours waiting for AAA to return with a tow truck, only for Ricardo to offer to tow me as well! Once again, he gave me a window of time it would take to swap out his trucks and return for the tow, and nailed his estimate again! Ricardo towed me to the hotel I had to book for the night, including my uhaul trailer since I was moving across country!The next day Ricardo kept his word and got a new water pump. He arrived early in the day and like the day before, did everything with a sense of urgency. And true to his word, I was out of that hotel parking lot by 2:30 and back on the road. He replaced all FOUR parts (belt, pulley, AC compressor, and the water pump) as well as drained and refilled the coolant for my AC. He even checked all my fluids and tire pressure just to make sure I didn’t run into any other potential problems driving so many miles. The car drove better and smoother than it did the day before, night and day different. His work speaks for itself!If I could give 10 stars out of 10 I would. Everything Ricardo said he would do, he did. He completed his work in such a timely manner. In a situation like this that could’ve been very stressful and costly, he did everything he could at every hurdle to really help me out. Any other mechanic could’ve taken days to get the parts. In both instances parts were needed, Ricardo got them as soon as he could, and I was on the road in under 24 hours. The costs for the repair and the tow were more than fair! You always hear stories about mechanics ripping people off, but Ricardo and BARS are the complete opposite! They’re there to help people. Thanks to the service provided, I made it to Chicago just in time to enjoy the holidays with my family. I wasn’t late returning my uhaul trailer and thus incurring more fees! I really can’t thank them enough.Hopefully you never get into a situation like mine, but if you’re ever in need of a tow or repair, I can’t recommend their service enough!
