I needed 50 Mylar balloons of 2 colors, blue and silver, inflated. The nicest person came out to help me. I believe she was in some type of management position, sorry no name. The best part of the story is she herself filled 50 Mylar balloons in no time and brought them out to me with a smile! This was on 6/3/21 around 3 PM. Gem employees are hard to come by.

Clean and neat, nicer things, more choices, prices range from 99cents to 7.99 or more depending on the items.Would love to shop there more.

Went for some dark chocolate for my wife found several options 55% cacao and 45% cacao. My wife loves the dark chocolate. Got my self some belly flops and some peanut M&Ms.

Very organized, items are easy to find. Clean store... always get more than I need.

My favorite 99... Staff is awesome. Wine is cheap. I usually buy my lunch here. They have a great selection and always stocked. I highly recommend this location.

Im great full for our 99 cent store here in L.f. shure its not the biggest store but for its size i can pretty much find everything here i would normally find at the bigger 99 cent stores in south O.C., the staff is always nice and helpful when not busy. The store is clean and the shelves well stocked. Good job everyone and keep up the great work! I love your store and go here quit often as my job is right down the street from you as well as my place of living..... Very convenient!

Went in too buy some snacks and one employee helped me find everything i needed he is also always so kind too my grandma, I think his name was Brandon or brendon something like that, so thank you too him.

Store is packed when i got here. As the store says outside 99 cents so pretty much a lot of products are in these price range. Staff are wonderful and very nice. Aisles are well organized and clean. Lots of parking spaces. Better bring some disinfecting wipes if you are comfortable holding their shopping carts.

This is a pretty nice 99 cent only location. Always well stocked, and usually not TOO busy.

Great place with good merchandise a lot of fresh produce. It was very clean too. I was surprise to see vegan cheeses available as well.

Always a great selection, and especially now that they carry an upgraded selection at higher price points, so you have even more variety, they now carry name brand food items and products, and they have greatly expanded their produce. They have 99-cent items and even items up to as high as 15.99+ from blankets, bedding, dishware, house plants xcetera. I actually found DiGiorno pizzas, and large 6 and 1/2 pound Costco size cans of diced tomatoes and tomato puree, California Healthy Harvest brand for only $2.99, so I grabbed a couple.

The 99 Cent Store has really upped its produce game! The other week I got delicious raspberries for just a buck. Today I got a large bag of nice firm tomatoes for $1.99 and a bag of zucchini for $0.99. and a lot of the stuff looks fresher and better than any Ralphs or Stater Bros. Im going to be shopping at the 99 Cent Store much more often.

Hi let me tell you about this place. So far it is the cleanest place I had ever going to and everything its organized . every I look there is people cleaning and keeping everything on nice . I had a good experience . I found what I was looking for in less than 10 minutes. Thank so much 99 for your hard work and employees to keep everything nice.

Great place for bargain hunters lots of stuff to choose from. Be careful because every item can rack up your bill fast. That being said finding items for Halloween and other holidays can be a great deal 🎃👍

Good reasonably priced vegetables and greens is what brings me to this store. It could be a little less cluttered but cart navigation is still possible. Close handicapped parking is a plus.

Best prices for everyday items

Today they had 3 registers open with employees working all 3, I was shocked to see that many employees checking people out. Usually, they only have 1 employee behind a register checking people out, or if youre lucky, 2 employees checking people out, the rest of the employees are somewhere on the floor restocking. I think this store is lacking in customer service, you can have 5 or 6 customers in line and not one employee will stop restocking to go help check people out, and its not just 1 or 2 times either, its over a handful of times. In my experience, this store puts restocking the shelves above helping the customers check out. I would not recommend this place for a quick trip. I dont understand how the others reviews say its quick in and out, it used to be, but no way, not anymore!

This store offers the same products as the other 99¢ stores. Although smaller, it is very organized and less busy compared to the nearby store. Parking though is very limited and not easy to get a spot especially during the weekends. Overall, I still prefer this one since it is less busy.

I dread coming here. You cant even shop here because parking here sucks. Wanted to save some time by coming here on my lunch break, to pick up a few needed items but couldnt even find parking after circling around a few times. I gave up and drove back to work. Complete waste of time.Ironically, I see a previous review from 2 months ago, mentioning the attitude and rudeness of the workers. Im sorry to say, but its true. The cashiers Ive had on my last 2 trips were both unusually snotty, and they have a tendency to flick your receipt at you. One cashier even bent my aluminum pan as HE, was scanning it and then handed it to me like nothing happened. What the hell? Why would you even do that? Considering how the work force is already struggling as it is, its beyond me how anyone is still employed with that kind of work ethic. I can guarantee you, Id be replaced in a heartbeat if I ever displayed such poor customer service at my employer.

This store is clean and organized. It is as nice as shopping in a regular supermarket. The check-out lines are not long either. Beware of some items that cost more than 99 cents though.

The parking lot gets a little busy from 6 pm tell 8:30 other than that the people who work there are efficient at their jobs good layout of products Ez to find what you want. On check out is low on BS through nice and quick .know what you want in and out. .

Good place to stop for quick shopping trips. Have never been in another 99 Cents Only store, but this one has a decent fresh fruit and vegetables section. Shop here at least twice a month.

I live in New York so this was a really cheap grocery store and department store put together per NY standard. Best 99cent/dollar store Ive come across. Wish NY 99cent/dollar stores were like this.

Going into the store I was looking for the balloons for happy birthday and the ones I wanted of course flew up to the ceiling the manager did go to the back and get me more of the ones I wanted. as I was walking out the balloons kind of attacked me. I dropped blueberries on the floor he quickly went inside and got me a new container of blueberries and finish picking up what I dropped very nice good service.

Clean and friendly place with great deals. LED light bulbs for .99 thats the best Ive seen and they are quality bulbs.

This 99 cents store was awesome, I have to give it up for these 99 cent stores. I live in the city of Norwalk California and I work in Orange California. Bargaining and buying products here for example Vegetables, fruit, snacks or stuff for the Kids.

Stock a bit short now understanding, due to crazy holiday season, i wish your greeting cards were 50 cents so i wouldnt have to make an extra trip to the dollar tree. Produce not the best considering neighborhood competition. Your holiday products are fabulous and much of everything else too. Your staff are friendly and the store is kept clean. I recommend that particular store on lake Forrest dr to everyone, but not he El Toro store. That one is terrible.

Today I was shopping at this store and I needed bread crumbs, and I couldnt find, I asked an employee she didnt know and cashier ( Fataneh ) and the manager ( Emily) was talking I asked them for help to find it but they laughed and make Jok, they said we dont know what you talking about?Im lealy disappoint that a employee and a manager where root to me and didnt help meI will never ever buy anything from there and I will not recommend to anyone 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

There is a middle aged sales clerk. She has short hair. She is the laziest and most unpleasant person. Her duty is to help customers find what they need,but forgets that. She blankly refuses to let you know where you can find a particular item “saying she is at work”. Isn’t that part of her job description?

This is definitely the best 99 Cent Only store in the area. The staff has been consistent and is not turned over 15 times and there actually seems to be a sense of pride in workmanship at this location. The refrigerated section is absolutely impeccable every time Im there. Every coin has two sides if you want to see the flip side go to the El Toro and Rockfield location. That one is a warzone that smells like dirty diapers. Foothill Ranch is not bad and runs a somewhat close second but the lake forest 99 cent store is the best one I have ever been in

I love shopping there, but the cashiers do not help you bag your groceries anymore, now that we bring our own bags?!

This store definitely gets points for being in a really nice spot and also being new and clean but it seems like theres a little bit on the small side and have a slightly smaller selection than the full size 9 9 Cent Stores.

They are not taking precautions seriously. The manager had a credit card sized piece of plastic covering part of his mouth. They also sell these shields there. I feel bad I was able to get a ton of supplies for a class Im taking. It wouldve cost me a fortune otherwise.

Prices have raised a lot now prices are higher than the grocery storeExample milk. Ralphs $2.39. 99 cents store $2.79 . The ralphs milk lasts a week to 10 days longerCold cereal ralphs has the same item for $1.49. 99 cents $2.00 and many items have lower quantity in the package than before
