The staff is extremely rude and the owner is not vaccinated. I got a full set of acrylics and the whole time the woman was critiquing the shape of my nails and my fingers not to mention my appointment was for 3 pm and she didn’t do my nails until 5 pm. Went a couple weeks ago and my nails all are chipped. I also called in advance to ask for the cost of a full set and when it was time to pay she charged me an additional $10 for no reason. Would not recommend. If you have any regard or concern for covid don’t come here.

I didnt have the best experience. They did an okay job. I got dip nails and they werent able to do any sort of design. All in all I felt like they were in a rush to get me out. She didnt even really clean up the edges around my cuticles.

I got my gel nails done by Maria 2 days ago and they are already chipping. She talked me into doing a more expensive procedure and while the design was cute they did not last and she was rude to other customers and 30 minutes late for my appointment.

I wish I had the same experience as the others who rated this business. First impressions means everything! You would think with only one person getting a Pedi the other two ladies who wasnt busy could have greeted me better. When I walked in neither ladies spoke, and when I spoke the shorter Asian ladyabruptly said, How can I help you!? Her tone was so nasty l just walked out. Even though my skinis Brown, my money is Green, and its too many nail shops in this little town to be treated unkind.

10 out of 10! My nails are beautiful. The ladies took extra time to work on my feet and making sure my cuticles were cut back really nicely! You have a customer for life now! 🤗❤️

This was my first time getting acrylics and I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted. She got it pretty darn close for the length and shape I wanted. She was very quick and meticulous. She did a coffin instead of an almond shape and they were a little longer than I wanted but I just went home and filed them a bit.

I absolutely swear by LA Nails and Maria! The first time I went, I was a little nervous because I had bad experiences with other salons and acrylic sets, however Maria did such a wonderful job and I have been going ever since. I will not go anywhere else to have my nails done. The quality is amazing and I absolutely adore the staff. During my first visit I was a little put-off due to being shy, but the atmosphere is so comfortable for me now. Everyone is straight forward and will not waste your time with what you are wanting, the nails were amazing quality and I have never broken, chipped, or had a nail rip-off after all my services. They last a long time and will not come off after a few days, I’ve had to have my nails professionally taken off because the quality is so amazing and long lasting.Absolutely worth going here, walk-ins are welcomed and sometimes the waits can be a while but it is so worth it!

I scheduled an appointment to get a full acrylic set. I have gotten acrylics done many times - two of the times at this salon. I had a good experience the first time, so I decided to come back.The customer experience was very poor as the nail tech seemed annoyed and was rude to me throughout the appointment. He insulted my nails and told me my fingers were crooked. The nails themselves turned out well, but I left disappointed in the way I was treated.Any salon I have been to in the past has been uplifting and created a space to feel good about yourself. I hope LA Nails can learn from this review and focus on the customer experience because their work itself is very good. I however will not be coming back.

Maria always does my nails! She is honest will tell you what looks best on you. She can do it all. Always leave with my nails looking great. Full set I believe was 48 with gel, refills with gel was only 28$. Call ahead and make an appointment otherwise it might be a few hours. I love it wont go anywhere else!

I had an appointment at 1:30 today for a manicure and pedicure. At 3:35 I finally got up to leave without my nails done. They took another person ahead of me. I informed them I was leaving. She said the person she took had an appointment. I reminded her my appointment was at 1:30. The person she took had a 2:30 appointment. This cost them $185 plus today. I was going to buy gift cards. Plus I have told ladies that come into my office about them. Now I will tell them not to go there. I wonder why they couldnt keep people working in their salon now I know. There are other nail salons near me. I will not go back.

I had made an appointment for 6 and I showed up 10 minutes early after calling to confirm. I came in and it looked busy but I had an appointment. I waited until 6:30 and decided to leave because 2 people who got there after me were serviced before I was. Very unprofessional. Terrible service.

I had nail tech in station 5 yesterday. She came from a break,threw stuff around, and spoke rudely when she sat down. She was rude and rough while doing my nails. She would shove my hands away from her, and even smacked my hands with the brush instead of just brushing them off. She kept digging her nails into me & clipped my with the clippers. I said ouch several times with no apology. I came so close to going off on her but did not OUT of respect for my friend who were there with me. I SHOULD HAVE REFUSED TO PAY and if management is reading this then you will hopefully do something about it. She is truly bad for your business.

If I could give zero stars I would.would absolutely not ever go back. they jacked up my nails so I called to get them fixed. they said theyd fix them for free then I drove all the way there about 20 min away And they would not honor what they told me on the phone.

I went in with my daughter she got what she wanted. I however wanted a French mani. The late cut my nail so bad that it bleed all over. She put clear tips on instead of white. So I ended up getting color instead. Definitely not impressed at all

I usually make an appointment, but they welcome walk-ins. They are friendly and very welcoming. This is the only salon that I use because my pedicures last with no chipping until my next appointment. They take their time and do a great job. They do a fantastic job with nail art. I have found the salon to be very clean, and I highly recommend their services.

Maria does my nails every time I go. She is an expert at her profession. I’m not a patient person and there couldn’t be a better nail technician to accommodate me. Attendant talked the entire time with someone else in the salon, never spoke to me until I tried to show her a mistake she had made. She said the color I picked was nearly gone, but that she had a similar one. She reached into her drawer and pulled out an unlabeled bottle and proceeded to polish my nails. After she completed 3 and I could actually see the result, and asked her if she could see any difference in the color choice I made, and the one she choose. I had picked a raspberry color, she was using a bright red with glitter. She kept telling me it was pretty. I told her I am an old lady and I did not use glitter polish. She just smiled. I asked her to just finish, and went home and did it myself. Not a happy camper!

Did a good job, but the only complaints I have is my nails are throbbing really bad. Ive never got my nails done and had bad pain afterwards. And left a gap on one of my nailsOther than that I like them. Seem like nice people but was a bit awkward.

Had a great Pedi & full set done! Went back to the hotel, broke my nail during a pillow fight, got back in first thing next morning! Back good and ready for my drive.

I love coming in here. I started coming here in August 2018 as a test for my wedding nails and they ended up doing my bridal party nails in September and everyone’s nails turned out great. I’ve only made an appointment once and it was for my wedding nails. I always go in as a walk in and I don’t wait longer than 5 minutes. I highly recommend this place to any and everyone. No one is bad at doing nails there, that I’ve come across but Maria is definitely the best at shapes and if you want something kinda out there. Also, this is is the only nail salon I’ve ever been to that they actually talk to you, they’re not weird and silent. I also hate my feet even being looked at but I got my toes painted my last visit and it wasn’t uncomfortable or ticklish. (Most places are.)

I’ve been going to Maria for almost two years now and each time I leave I get soo many compliments on my nails! All of them are so talented and the very sweetest. I love how I’ve built relationships with all of them! Today, I decided to try out powder aka dip nails and I am never going back to acrylics!! My nails feel 100x better already. Glad to have my real nail back. It costs a little more than acrylics but worth it.

This place is amazing the woman was very sweet and they were very busy so it does take time to wait but its worth it my nails were beautiful and she put jewels on them. These are prom nails and she did them perfect! I will definately come again!

I went in on Friday as a walk in and they immediately greeted me and were very friendly. I wanted to test it out because I made an appointment for my bridal party to get their nails done there in a few weeks. I love my nails and I like the quiet yet friendly atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my temporary stay at L.A. Nail Salon. As soon as you walk in your immediately greeted by the nicest people ever. I dont get my Nails done often and Im a bit picky when it comes to different polishes and designs but they really made it worth my while.

The lady who did my nails was very nice. She talked to me and told jokes the whole time. I enjoyed her. However, I didnt go there to make a friend. I wanted to get nice long lasting nails. I got the gel nails for $20 which is usually cheaper than my usual place so I was very excited. The color selection was limited. Ive never had a place not have the color I requested. And though the nails looked DECENT, they didnt last more than a week and a half. Usually my gel nails last 3 to 4 weeks. Its safe to say, I will not be returning here. I guess you get what you pay for right?

I use to go to another nail salon for two years and decided to go elsewhere because the service started to suck. so i got reffered to LA Nail & today was my first visit i absolutely loved the service very friendly & welcoming. she was thorough with her work & talked the whole time with me which made me feel very welcomed. my nails looked great & they had so many choices in color ! The new owner and staff were nice and told funny stories. Although, the wait was 30mins later then they told me. I did a gel manicure, she got polish on my skin of several fingers. I did not see this and had to file it off when i got home. The polish was also very uneven by the cuticles. I did have a white polish on two of my nails, which she could have done a third layer to match my other non-see through nails. The tips of my fingers are wearing off, Ive never had this happen at other places. I would have taken the time to do them myself if i knew i would have nails like this from a business.

This is the store next to the home depot! I Have been going here for a few years and love this place! Maria takes her time on each person. Once u sit in her seat and its ur turn to get ur nails done she spends her time doing exactly what u want. I love her and her work! Best place in town I can promise u that!

I went to LA Nail Salon last night to get a pedicure and gel manicure. I had a wonderful time! The place itself isnt great to look at, but everything is fairly clean. The workers were very nice and friendly and actually chatted with me a little bit (which in my limited experience has been unusual for one of these places). The lady who gave me my manicure/pedicure was also very thorough/perfectionistic and did a great job. I will definitely be returning!

I have gone to this place a total of two times. The gentleman is very rough handed and makes my nails bleed on the edges. The last time that I went; which was the day before thanksgiving, the workers were so concerned about getting out to go to their families, they rushed through my nails, didn’t trim them how I asked, painted my nails a color that I wasn’t quite pleased with. I asked for a specific color that they had on display and they told me they didn’t have it. I went back to have them fixed after thanksgiving and they told me that it was my fault for not paying attention because I had an important phone call while in the salon. I think that the lady that commented on me being on the phone is ridiculous, because they answer their personal phones as well and I never complain. I do NOT recommend this place for their lack of wanting to please their customers.

First and last time here. I got the dipping powder in my nails. And it broke the next day. It never happened before even after 3 weeks.Not happy at all. 🤯

Showed up without an appointment. Was able to get in with minimal wait. Started with the guy but was given to the lady to finish my acrilic nails. The guy seemed to know what he was doing and understood what I wanted, the lady not so much. It took the lady over an hour and it was painful I normally dont get fake nails put on but I have never felt this much pain in this process. I had this done at noon today and here it is 9:45pm and they still hurt. I feel they used the grinding drimmel to much on my actual nails causing the pain. I told the lady I wanted a colored french tip and she didnt do a base color like a normal french tip. Granted I wanted something difficult but not really I was able to show a picture of what I wanted but she didnt understand that the colors I wanted were not what was pictured. The baseball design was done by hand which I understand that but if you cant figure out what a baseball looks like then dont say you can do it. Plus one thing that they didnt do was put lotion on or massage my hands like everywhere else Ive been. I thought that was part of a manicure. Also when I finally left in pain and a very bad job I look to see that all the tips have bubbles in them. I so wish I could post a picture on here so I could show the poor quality they do. Spring nails on the south side is getting my business back. I should never have tried somewhere else!!!! How can these people stay in business. I feel bad for the 2 little girls that came in after me with their dad. Hopefully they had better service.

I went in for a manicure on a Wednesday at 11:45 am, there was 4 people working & 3 people getting services. I called & was told $12 for a manicure & no wait.I waited, after looking at colors, in a chair for over fifteen minutes before anyone came over. My manicure was not very good, took an hour and fifteen minutes...years ago, I used to get gel or acrylic done in less time, and ended up costing $25. Ill never go back! My polish started chipping off on Thursday night...it should have lasted more than 24 hours.

We got our hair and makeup done here for a wedding, and everything turned out really nicely!

LA NAILS next to HOME DEPOT in Lafayette is the best!! Maria has been doing my nails for 4 years now. She originally resided in Kokomo and now in Lafayette! I drive an hour to see her and shes well worth it! I work at Chrysler in Kokomo and my nails have NEVER broke, chipped or came off. So for all you ladies in Lafayette that work in factories go see Maria, you will not be disappointed!!

Horrible horrible experience. I went here to get a gel polish change and the lady who was talking to me about what I wanted was acting as if she was confused about what I was saying. She then decides to be more difficult and rude by saying it doesn’t matter what I wanted because they were closing. It was 6:00 on a Saturday and their sign said they didn’t close until 8:00. I told her that her sign said 8:00 and she said they were closing anyway. I don’t know why she wanted me out but I told her I would not be tolerating this type of behavior toward me. I hope no one else has to endure this type of rude customer service.

Went today to get some acrylics. Shouldnt have. The place is very dirty and I highly doubt they clean their tools. I got yelled at by a nail tech when I sat in the wrong chair. The tech that worked on my nails was very rough while sanding my nails down and it was very painful at times. My mom went with me and said she didnt like the vibe in there either. The finished prouduct wasnt Atrocious, but it was pretty bad. Every nail was unevenly filed, and the polish was very streaky and not even at all. It was also very awkward in there for some reason. I was just waiting for the lady to finish so I could get out of there and fix the nails myself. I went to Sallys and got a gel polish and a UV light. Went home and refiled everything before fixing the splotchy polish. They look good now that Ive worked on them myself. Lesson learned: when something cant fulfill what you want, do it yourself! I hope to find a great place around here who cares about their customers, though. I recommend not trying this place, because I was in that same position debating on trying it due to the mixed reviews, and I happened to hate the experience.
