It was my first visit to this salon. Being a new client I used the coupon I found on their website. I had some concerns about my hair and Beth, my stylist, listened to all of them. She seemed very knowledgeable and addressed each and every one. I enjoyed a scalp massage included with my shampoo. I thought I would just get a trim but after talking with Beth she gave me a great cut to add volume and movement. I loved my new cut it is so easy to take care of and looks great. I have received several compliments.

Wonderful experience all around, from the cleanliness of facilities to the quality of products used and most especially the professionalism, expertise, and talent exhibited by my hair designer, MacKenzie. She has wonderful, sound advice, is compassionate and fun to talk to, and always delivers an amazing cut and color. Possibly even more important, on the one occasion where things didnt go quite right, she immediately made time to correct the issue effectively and efficiently, with great success.

I discovered that their pedicurist was not vaccinated after she started working on my nails. They didnt tell me in advance about this, which is disturbing because for all they know I could have been immune compromised or a cancer patient. I think that their failure to inform me of this was morally reprehensible; if I hadnt asked I wouldnt have discovered this. I suspect that quite a few of the people working there are not immunized against COVID-19 and that clients are not being informed of this. I wont be going there again even though Ive been going there for several years.

I had a full weekend for me - My pedicure looks perfect, Jimmie is wonderful! My brow tinting by Mackenzie was a success! And my massage by Lori was amazing and so relaxing! Will definitely come back to 95th St!

I had my hair colored and cut with Beth and it came out fabulously! I love my new color and curtain bangs. EXACTLY what I wanted!I received a pedicure from Jimmie and it was lovely. Shes super friendly and does great work! My feet are in such better shape than when I came in! Love the color!I also received a massage from Lori and it was truly what I needed after a cross country move. It was so relaxing, and she was able to get all my knots out. Feeling great!Highly recommend this salon for any of your needs. Their professionalism is unmatched and its such a calming, relaxing place to come to.

I absolutely loved my experience with Jorden. I hadn’t had a haircut in three years - I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to these things- and she took the time to talk to me to help me pinpoint what my goals were for my hair. We took off 10 1/2 inches, and she was so supportive and comforting through the whole thing. I left the salon feeling like a million bucks! Beyond that, I was shocked when it came time to pay- it was way less than I expected for absolutely top-notch service in such a clean, bright and soothing atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back get a trim.

Paid $90 for a massage and what I received was a light rub and a 10 minute head scratching session. Ugh. So disappointed. Not sure why the therapist asked what areas needed special attention, because she didn’t take into account my answer at all. Lesson learned: be sure to ask beforehand what type of massage therapist you’re getting. If you want an actual massage with a therapist who uses actual pressure, be sure and clarify this! Had to book an appointment at a different spa for next day because I walked out of this spa feeling exactly the same as I did walking in - full of tension. At least the place was nice. And the front staff was friendly.

Jimmie is AMAZING! I have always wanted to be able to get fun, pinterest inspired nails, and she is the real deal! Shes so talented and passionate about doing nails, plus shes just fun to talk to while you sit there! You wont be disappointed!

I went to 95th street today for consultation, cut and style. My 60th birthday is on Thursday. Desirae was my stylist. She was amazing! I am so happy. Needed a new style and she was perfect. Thanks desirae, hope i spelled it right. My mom and best friend would have loved it!!

Awesome! The staff at 95th street salon got me checked in quickly, the salon was clean and I Love the new layout of the front desk/guest services area. Clare was attentive and professional, she delivered exactly what I had intended and asked questions to make sure we were on the same page. Its obvious that 95th street’s primary concern is the safety and comfort of their guests, I would recommend them to anyone!

Every time I visit 95th Street Salon I am blown away by the service. Everyone is so friendly and professional! Throughout COVID this salon has adapted to ensure all of us feel safe and respected when we go in. When appointments had to be rescheduled, the staff was so on top of making sure they could accommodate needs. They have gone out of their way to put safety measures in place and I have never hesitated to go in. I absolutely adore this salon and my hair has never looked better since I started going there over two years ago!

The staff turn around in this place is ongoing. You can see someone and try to book with them 2 months later and they are gone. Something fishy going on here with management. Not to mention their HUGE price increase they recently implemented for the same services they offered before in the middle of a pandemic. Sharks.

I have been going here since I have moved to Colorado, which was 6 years ago! I am very picky about who cuts my hair and I have never had an issue with this salon. They are very kind and are great at what they do. I will continue to go here. Plus they are very personable! Shaleena rocks it every time! Thanks for being a great salon!

I was able to get a last minute appointment with Jorden Samples. I really enjoyed it until the last 15 minutes or so, when she seemed to lose interest and became rushed. It’s really not a good feeling as a customer, to experience such a shift. This was unfortunate and what I will remember, not the stellar haircut.

I went in today as a first time customer for a cut with Kelly and she is fantastic. By far the best haircut I’ve ever had and I’ve tried many different salons in the area. Everyone in the salon was friendly, professional and welcoming. I am so excited to have found a salon and stylist to return to after many years of searching for the right fit. As a mom, it is rare to be able to find time for a haircut and Kelly took her time and styled my hair perfectly. She is skilled with cuts and texturing and will take the time to make you feel your best. I have found that kind of attention to detail to be rare at other salons. Thank you Kelly for my amazing cut and for taking the time to style this busy Mom’s hair! I will definitely recommend to everyone I know and will be back. Best salon in the area!

I have been going to 95th St Salon for about 6 years and I love it! Over the years, Ive had different stylists due to them moving or maternity leave and I have never been disappointed. I most recently saw Kelly for an all over color and trim and she was great! The spa is wonderful too as Ive gotten manicures, pedicures, facials and massages. They do an excellent job hiring great talent, so you cant go wrong.

Jordan, my stylist deserves five stars because she corrected highlighting mistakes that another stylist made (yes, at 95th St Salon). She is very knowledgeable, personable and professional.The reason I gave four stars is because the previous stylist that jacked up my hair and one of the owners yelled at me when she found out I needed a ‘correction.’ The owner told me that I must never be happy with my service. I literally never complained, in fact, when Jordan was fixing my color, the previous stylist came over to see her mistakes but she never apologized for it. I went out of my way to make her feel comfortable by telling her that I loved the color but the clumps of color needed to be blended. I was patient and kind but never got that in return from her.I suggest that you see Jordan if you want up to date styles, professionalism and a warm, kind person. Hopefully you won’t get screamed at by the owner!

My botanical facial with Sara was absolutely amazing. I just love her no B.S. approach to self care. I would definitely recommend this treatment. It is WAY MORE than a facial and given our dry climate my face skin felt so much more relaxed and healthy. Do not hesitate to try the botanical facial at 95th Street Salon!!!!!

My stylist was sweet and very personable. The salon was clean and I was greeted promptly at the door. My only complaint is my color did not turn out at all like the swatches we picked out, like 6-8 shades darker. The color is pretty but not what I asked for. The stylist was apologetic and did let me know she will talk with the owner and get my color done free next time to fix it. We will see! The cut and style is super cute.

Typically, I do my nails myself. I’m preparing for a trip to Hawaii- single mama with a special needs kid. I decided to get a “professional” pedicure to save time and hassle, since there’s so much else to do.Well, I paid $50 to come out with nails that look like a 10-year-old did them for me. I had wanted gels, but she said they only had “regular.”Well, now I’m glad they’re just lacquer because it’s easier to remove. But I’m down 50 bucks and have to lose an hour or two of sleep to redo them myself at home.Pics are *after* I removed polish that was on my skin and cuticles. Ugh!

I have been a customer for many years and will continue to make 95Th Salon my only hair salon! I always have a great result with whatever treatment I receive, whether hair cut, dimension color, massage, facial or nails. They are professional and wonderful!

I scheduled massages and pedicures for me and my friend and when we checked in they only had me for both services and just a pedicure for my friend. We suggested we do half hour each for the massage and then the pedicures, the massage therapist said well it will only be 25 minutes since I have someone after you. I said this mistake is not my fault and she replied it’s not mine either. They did little to compensate nor make it right in the future. I will not come back to this place.

I brought my 14 year old daughter in for a haircut/style booked with Desirae . Even though we arrived on time, Desirae greeted us by saying we were 15 minutes late and she had another appointment behind us for a brow wax. We arrived at 6:15 pm and that is when I booked the appointment with the receptionist, over the phone.Desirae rushed through the service by giving a 1 minute shampoo & conditioner, a quick snip on the lower ends (my daughter wanted her shorter layers cut, too!) and a quick blow dry that was not complete. My daughter left with her hair still damp and received no styling at all. The stylist lacked professionalism and talent in my opinion. The whole service was 20 minutes long. On line it states that haircuts are 45 minutes with Desirae.What a huge disappointment! We will not be returning to 95th St. Salon! I recommend folks to not waste your time and money here and go elsewhere!

I had the gentlemans foot treatment (a mens pedicure). It was a wonderful experience. Very relaxing. I highly recommend it.

Super unhappy about the 50% payment required for an online appt. I have NEVER been a no show but I am being penalized and inconvenienced now. Sick of the owners attitude overall! ( I actually had words with the owner by phone one time where she compared her establishment to a doctors office and announced Id have to pay a cancellation fee for not giving 48hrs notice on a reschedule.) You might want to be more customer focused and act less like you are doing a favor to your clients because they have a choice to go elsewhere. Other salons/businesses do a better job with text reminders by sending a text the day before and a few hours before appts. You send them two days before which does not help remind people adequately. Get a clue that there are other things you can do to be sure people show up other than charging up front fees and cancellation charges! Pretty sure I will be treated to a snarly response just like all the other one star reviews. Thanks in advance for that.

I’ve been a client since 2005, my mother-n-law always gave us gift cards for facials from this aveda store... i never needed to show a gift card, since when you purchase one it stays in the system. I had also called and confirmed that I can use my gift card if it showed in the system. Well today the OWNER decided to tell me about 7 times that next time I need to carry my gift card because she’s the owner and that’s how things should be done, she is very unprofessional, and needs to take a course on how to treat clientele. Maybe she forgot the number one rule... Customer is always right! She just lost 4 clients with the way she decided to speak to me today. ! Big Mistake!

My husband dyed my hair black & I looked like a corpse:( Tracy, who just started there 2 months ago, explained the huge process of going back to blonde, took her time, was emotionally supportive( I looked really really bad) & after almost 3 hrs I left BLONDE again with a great haircut to boot. I cannot express how amazing & experienced she is. Never in my life did I have such great results from a hairdresser. Everyone should try her out! Shes full of talent & a life savor. I found my forever hairdresser:)

As always Sarah gave me a wonderful facial and spent time on my sore neck which was so much appreciated! Feels so much better today!

Bessie BUTCHERED my hair. I ended up with a very different hairstyle than what I asked for. When I pointed out how awful some areas looked, she just kept cutting it the same way and making it worse, and shorter. Thank god another lady stepped in and helped. Bessie has literally no clue what she is doing. I’m appalled this salon would even consider hiring her. I’ll go back specifically because I’ve had good experiences with other staff, but for the love of god, get rid of Bessie.

I hate my hair and I will be wearing a hat for the next couple days. Just want to say this was my first time and I dont want to come back. I couldve done a better job buying my bleach and color, or shouldve gone to Great Clips. I paid $135 on a haircut (which is after the $20 discount: I.e a $155 cut if it wasnt my first appointment there) when I heard it was going to be around $70 at first. I absolutely love my stylist and had visited her before at different places; therefore I am already familiar with her work and do love it. When coloring my hair my stylist followed the advice of her manager as guidance, which is fine and all but again $135 is TOO MUCH FOR A HAIRCOLOR I AM GOING TO WEAR A HAT OVER. Still would visit my stylist but am not likely visiting this salon unless my stylist can follow her own feeling. Im going to go buy my own bleach now. Pictures soon to follow to show when I fix my own hair.

I received the worst haircut of my life and the owner refuses to give me my money back. There is a chunk of hair missing. Beware of the policy that you sign because it says they wont give you your money back. Who makes their customers sign something that says they wont refund your money?!?!? Seriously!!!!

I love 95th St. Salon! I have always gone to Aveda salons and this is my favorite. Shalena and Jen have done a great job on cuts and color. My husband is pleased with his stylist as well. We highly recommend this salon and spa.

Update: I took my business to another Aveda salon just down the road: Salon Nove in Louisville. The staff couldnt have been more welcoming and kind to my daughter and I. In one walk-in appointment, they earned my business, both products and services.The staff members at this salon are rude, especially the owner. I have been a lifelong Aveda salon customer and have frequented their affiliated salons in every state that Ive lived in and have never been treated so poorly. If youre a busy, working Mom, dont bother with this place because youll be turned away because your kids face might get burned sitting in the corner of a five-minute waxing appointment ... the owners words, not mine.

I came in for a shellac manicure. Regular manicurist was ill....supposedly. Another person filled in. She was fun and funny but gave me a terrible manicure. It began chipping the very next day. I wasted my money.

Ive been getting my hair cut here since before it was called 95th Street Salon and have had a great experience every single time.

I had my first massage here a couple weeks ago and was really looking forward to it. I was 10 mins early and she was 10 mins late coming out to get me. I thought, she will surely make up the 10 mins at the end. You pay for an hour massage, I dont think its a lot to ask for an hour massage. She stopped right on time, not a second longer. No mention of starting late or anything. To top it off the massage was rather weak when I had asked for deep tissue massage. Also I could hear people inside the nail area talking which isnt really ideal when you want to relax and tune out the world around you for an hour. I will not be back and drove away very disappointed!

I had by far the WORST experience I have EVER had at a salon with a stylist named Mackenzie. Not only was she incredibly stuck up and rude she made me feel very unintelligent and as though I was a burden on her day. I left with my hair not being done the way I had hoped because of her lack of interest and obvious need to get me done and out of her chair as soon as humanly possible. I will never go back to this salon and I will never recommend a single friend or family member or even acquaintance to this salon. Without this Mackenzie girl in the salon Im sure it would have been a great experience. She is the most unprofessional and miserable human being I have ever come across.
