This place is awesome!! Amazing people, and they put a dome over their pool so it can be used during the winter which is awesome too. There is an actual hockey rink in there as well as the usual ymca things to do.

We love this beautiful outdoor pool. Its clean with vigilant lifeguards and a lovely grassy area for picnics etc. The swim lessons I signed my son up for never happened but thats life, sometimes things dont go as planned (there was no instructor when we arrived fir class and lots of chaotic confusion)

If you’re thinking about sending your kid to summer camps or any camp with ymcas of BV, save yourself the time and money and just don’t. The counselors are amazing, it’s their bosses that are the issue. Horrible management and they overcharge and lie about carrying out certain standards to protect themselves at the expense of staff and children that no longer LOVE summer camp. I’m genuinely surprised they do not have any lawsuits against them yet. I could name specific names, but for now I will not.

Would not recommend this specific ymca. Their basketball courts are hardly ever open for their intended purpose. I had a reservation for 1:45 to use the basketball courts and the courts where full of tables and old equipment. The city owned rec centers are open even through stage red of corona. Instead this ymca uses the courts for crowded day care gatherings. I couldn’t even count how many times I would arrive and the courts would not be open. There are plenty of better gyms to go to then here. The customer service is equally bad as no one has answers on why the gym is never open and incredibly disorganized.

I really like the gym and equipment but man.... taking a shower afterward in the same enclosure as toilets is pretty rough. Nothing like taking a shower in the same steamy air other people just pooped in to feel clean. Also, there are too many lockers and no places to sit or put your stuff down. Especially when classes let out and everyone floods the locker rooms and sets their stuff all over the place while they shower (I mean, why not keep it locked up?). Im surprised they are investing in new weight rooms and preschool when the locker rooms need a serious update. Hopefully thats on the docket.

Worth it for the child care alone. When Im solo with the kids and I need a break and some exercise I come here. You get two free hours a day with your membership plus a third hour at a very reasonable price. There are enough treadmills that Ive never had to wait - even on a Saturday morning. The indoor track is also pretty nice and usually not too crowded.Weve also really appreciated the swim lessons. If you sign up for a group one in there winter you often still have a pretty small class size.

Great Y location. Pretty much what youd expect equipment wise (a little bit tired and dated in the weight room) but you can get a good workout. The pool is decent, not over chlorinated. The staff are 5 star. Friendly and helpful

Great facility that is ruined by terrible management. They say they stand for the community and helping others but dont take care of their own employees, underpay them, and over charge members for services so that the management can collect a large paycheck at the expense of the people who work for them. If they want to help the community, they should start by taking care of their own people first.

This is the best place to workout, swim, yoga, ice skate, cycle, play soccer. My kids love the child care and we enjoy going their as a family. The pool is so fun! I love the yoga studio and the teachers are great and so willing to teach and help. There are very few places my kids will go for child care and the Y is one that they love.

This place is amazing! So many wonderful classes and instructors to choose from. Its very convenient to find time for a workout or class because they offer such a wide variety of classes throughout the day and week. They also have a great childcare center to supervise and entertain the little ones while you attend your class or workout. They have a really beautiful clean pool thats outside in the Summer and covered with a dome during the Winter. They have an ice skating rink too. The YMCA is an inviting and accepting place where Ive met and made friends with many nice people. But what really makes the Y an awesome organization are the many ways that they contribute to their community. I have become a healthy, active and confident 43 y/o single Mom of 5 kids thanks to the YMCA and their members. I am so grateful for the healthy impact that the Y has made in our lives.

Great new cardio machines, large new bike room, large new free weights room. Large cardio room and separate large yoga room and separate large pilates room. Outdoor pool with dives and slides thats covered for winter use, and an indoor ice skating rink. Friendly staff. I gave it 4 stars because I havent tried any of the classes yet. They have silver sneakers classes, but only 3 water classes - none of them deep water.

The YMCA of Boulder Valley is my favorite place to workout, hangout, and spend time with friends. They have excellent facilities, GREAT classes, AND their child watch is EXCEPTIONAL. The people in child watch make sure to get to know your child by name, personality and needs. They really connect with the kids and help them to be comfortable and THRIVE at this facility! I thank the YMCA for so many of my friends, for the healthy lifestyle they promote, and for helping me teach my kid about all of those same things.

They have a saltwater pool with slides stay open year round due to the use of a large inflatable dome. Smaller kiddie pools available during summer only. Basketball courts with a banked track around the top. Standard cardio and workout equipment is all in good shape. I also consider the year round ice rink a huge plus. Cant be beat for the price.

My husband and I have been members of the YMCA of Boulder Valley for 6 years and typically workout at the Arapahoe location several times a week. We have taken a myriad of classes, worked with several trainers, and lifted weights during that time. We use the pool during the summer, and our kids have been involved with many sports programs there. We love the people and facilities.

Clean and functioning equipment. Outdoor pool that is open during the summer with separate kids pool that (probably) gets the most chlorine. Showers and lockers are in good shape. Indoor track, astroturf football field. No gimmicky sign up, and can use your membership in longmont, arapahoe location and mapleton location. By far best deal in Boulder.

This is a pretty good facility and I thought it would be my facility for years to come. But I got a very rude lifeguard and a rude front desk person all in the same day. So I am fearful about using the swimming pool even though I am a good swimmer and I have found management to be unresponsive.

This place was great at first but our Puerto Rican friend was kicked out when me and my white friend wasn’t, this shows that these YMCA employees are racist. These people should be kind and not rude based on race. However, in the past month I believe they have started to make changes. The staff are friendlier to my Puerto Rican friend and friendlier in general. I’m amazed at just how quickly they have turned around.

The basketball program is disorganized. Called and asked about placing my son in a team (to ensure he was playing at the right level as he has limited basketball experience) and was told for his age there wasnt enough demand for a league. Later I found out that the person who told me this gave me the wrong information. By then I was told it was too late to get him on a team because the league was full. Called the person in charge (Jackson Deiling) twice and he never called me back. After 3 calls and 2 emails some of which were before the league filled up the Y didnt help place my son. Competely disorganized and very unhelpful. If you want to secure your child on the right team go into the Y dont call or email they dont respond and if they answer the phone it might be someone who doesnt know the details of the program.
