Due to life changes, I decided it was best to cancel my membership in the meantime. I called Club 4 May 25, and spoke directly with someone. I was told my membership was canceled, and no further action needed to be taken. Well, I recently realized that I was still being charged for a membership that I was assured was canceled. I called and spoke with a manager, and was basically told that there is nothing that they can do, and I have to cancel on the app (something I was not told when I initiated the cancellation). Not only that, to add insult to injury, I was told that not only would I not be reimbursed for the months I should not have been charged for, but I will also be billed for the coming month as well. That is unacceptable! I am usually not one to complain, but the way this entire lack of communication has been handled is unbelievable. Better training is definitely needed. I have been in customer service for 20 plus years, and this should have been handled better. Going forward, please make sure your employees are familiar with club policies before wrongly assisting your members. The gym itself is ok (lots of equipment, classes), which is fine to attain customers, but its how you handle your customers after they sign up that retains them.

My wife had the worst experience on this gym ever, you can not train with friends because they consider you are personal trainer and they cancel your membership and block your access without previous notification. Managers allow all of this without a proper investigation. I think some trainers envy the way some customer train and they put and eye on you. I have never seen this lack of professionalism in any gym before. Be careful Lafayette.

Been here about a year. I was looking for a place that had a kidscare center and not only does this gym have one at a great price, but the workers there are AMAZING with the kids. My daughter loves all the little gifts and activities they have. On the gym side, all the equipment is new and the membership price is reasonable.

THE STAFF IS THE BEST. I moved here from Lake Charles and although there were some issues moving my membership they were constantly working to make things right. Now with the improved WiFi Im enjoying it so much.

I’m writing this review because Club4Fitness Lake Charles Location can no longer be reviewed for some reason. I was banned and my membership was cancelled for leaving a negative review of staff members. I have read similar reviews from this location and would like to warn others that this gym is the equivalent to GloboGym in the movie Dodgeball. Staff members are protected by a membership policy that states that you can be terminated for any violation of gym policy. Including speaking negatively about the gym or staff members. Be warned. This is the gym equivalent of North Korea 🇰🇵...

Amazing set up and great atmosphere

We canceled the training one in one. Yet again taken out of my account. Called and asked about it. Was told oh you have to send email to do that. Apparently the people at front desk that work there don’t this. Improper training to say the least.So we do it on the app. Yet again, still taken out of our account. Asked about it. Oh … it takes 15 days . Yes people 15 days to take effect. Yet again was not not told this by trained people that work there.This management is a joke. A horrible one at that !!!! Praying my son decides to go to different gym. Only knows what it will take to cancel gym membership !!!

Great gym, awesome staff, and wonderful atmosphere!I was super excited when I first heard of a new, large gym coming to Lafayette. As soon as membership enrollment started, I joined Club4Fitness. I am one of the founding members. Since the gym has opened, I have seen tons of people start switching over as well and for good reason. Compared to other local gyms, I find Club4Fitness is the best value. Not only do they keep the gym clean and organized, but they have a wide selection of equipment to use. Their gym etiquette that they require everyone to follow keeps the atmosphere perfect for getting some nice workouts in.Reading the other reviews posted, I can certainly agree that the initial sign up process was lengthy, but I expected that with the fact the gym is new and employees are still working out kinks. For those reviewers who give places a bad rating for taking too long, try understanding that and/or look into other methods of joining (e.g. online). Dont give a place zero stars because it took longer than you hoped to be assisted. Be considerate.All in all, it has only been a month since opening, so well see if the gym continues on the path to success. So far, I can certainly recommend it!

I had gym memberships for 20 years of my life and I have never had such a terrible experience as I did with Club 4. I was discriminated against and unfairly picked out. I enjoyed the amenities but management is a joke. They so called follow policies but refuse to follow ALL policies for ALL people. They pick and choose which policy and who to enforce it on.

No complaints here, I love it. Wife likes her own workout time and locks on the facilities.

Horrible customer service. No-one answers the phone. I have call logs from different days with 10-20 calls with no-answer during business hours. No-one returns your calls. Continues to charge your account after signed cancellation agreement. No COVID compliance or sanitation by members or employees. No-one wearing masks (including employees) or wiping down equipment. However, it is decent equipment and setup if you are willing to risk it.Edit: The only response Ive gotten in over a month has been to this review. What about asking the regional to respond to my voicemails and emails Ive already submitted through the website instead of asking me to send another email.

I am a member of club 4 but is currently looking into getting another gym it’s always pack I know a few people who got the virus from there and every time I go there hoping things gonna change smh I steady get disappointed

Today, I went to Club4Fitness to ask about an ongoing promotion and had a few other questions. After waiting in line and constantly watching other guests that walked in after me get help before me, I finally talked to two desk workers and neither of them knew the answer to my questions. The first worker told me she’d get someone to help answer my question and then proceeded to help the people behind me, once again, and did not get anyone to help me. After waiting in line all over again, I asked the next worker and she didn’t know either. I was then told I can talk to the GM and would have to sit and wait a few minutes. I agreed, but then had to wait AGAIN, but he also proceeded to help many other people that came in after me. I decided to get in line again and when I finally got to talk to him, he answered my question in 3 seconds. I was at Club4Fitness for a whole hour, no exaggeration. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would give 0 stars if I could.Update: Looking in retrospect and reading other reviews (someone told me to look), I still wouldn’t recommend coming here. Being a new location isn’t an excuse to be rude. Also, after talking to other people that haven’t written reviews, they also informed me that the staff was rude to them.

Need to change tanning policies so members can plan ahead and not be stuck waiting unnecessarily. The current, sign-up in person only and wait in line policy is disrespectful of members time and availability. Also, the virtual class offering is fictitious.
