This is our favorite recreation center with an indoor pool to visit! There is something for everyone. The pool has a lazy River, large water slide, wonderful area for small children, indoor jacuzzi, deep end with a diving board, rock wall to climb over the pool, lap pool, and outdoor adults only jacuzzi! The facility is clean and everyone who works there seems very nice. Marty at the front desk was very polite and helpful.

The staff is friendly and professional especially during this COVID, masks are required inside the public areas and is properly enforced.Life guards are very concious of the swimmers and watch the children with a vigilant eye. The spa and jacuzzi are clean with the sauna dry/wet comfortably hot being well maintained. I highly recommend this clean modern facility.

Sweet slide. 2 hot tubs with incredible jets. A large steam room and dry sauna. During open swim the even have a diving board!

Great rec center pool, especially for families with mixed ages of kids.

I love how the hot tubs are open and I can relax. But my biggest thing is that I wish the steam room was open. I wish they did 1 person at a time in the steam room so it could be open. Personally I have high blood pressure and I used to go to the steam room to help with that.

Kid pool is great. I appreciated how they organized reservations during Covid..

Marty helped me over the phone and was amazing. I was asking confusing requests on how to cancel a SUP reservation but he made me feel at ease and was so helpful and friendly, when other people couldn’t figure it out. Helped me with all the things I needed quickly and well. Best employee I’ve met!!

Great local gym/fitness area. Major upgrades in 2019 allowed for better equipment and has everything you need for your workout

Grateful for hot water therapy, sauna and steam room. The track is great too. But the weekend hours are a bummer as they close way too early.

Its a great rec center, and I would give more stars. I just wish they would bring back adult swim for the pool. Since theyve gotten rid of it, the pool is always crowded with young kids who are often very rude and will jump all over you. Its not something that everyone wants to deal with when theyre trying to swim. It was a lot better when they offered adult swim hours.

My daughter takes a few classes a year through the rec. The swimming teachers are very friendly and patient. I didnt give this place 5 stars because the family changing locker room is dirty and old. The womens locker room is new and clean, so hopefully they can update that in the future. Also the front desk has always been nice and helpful except today the lady who answered was rude and would take deep breaths if I asked her a question, like I was bothering her. I didnt catch her name but it was a Sunday around 2 when I called.

Great location/staff. Recently updated their main workout area with new machines. Hope they update the shower room next though, theyre kinda old and they dont have individual stalls like the Erie rec center does.

My main issue is that it closes really early. 5pm on Sunday and 6pm on Saturday even though the place is generally packed when they close on the weekend. A 10pm closure time during the week (instead of 9pm) would be so much nicer as well. But other than that a pretty nice rec center at a pretty decent price.

Its a lovely place with lots of room inside to run. Theres a large water slide and a smaller one for the little kids. Theres what looks like an 8-Lane lap pool for serious swimmers and several jacuzzi hot tubs throughout. The parking was a little different. Its next to an elementary school and I almost parked there thinking it was the rec center. Aside from that, pretty good experience.

For such a small amount of space, they’ve really optimized what they have to work with. Plus, the other gym go-ers are always friendly and ready to spot you if you need it. They have all the equipment I need, fast and friendly front desk staff, clean equipment, and 2 awesome hot tubs, a sauna, and a steam room.

We love it here. They have great classes, good equipment and the staff are wonderful.

Friendly staff. Its a complete refund center with a nice pool (pool, wading pool, hot tub, lazy river, water slide), a couple of racquetball courts, an indoor jogging track, a gymnasium, and a reasonable workout room. My only complaints are that the selection of aerobic equipment is too mixed - often just one of something, so if someone else is on your machine you have to find something else to do; and equipment is often broken.

Decent town rec center. They have a pool, racquet ball courts and a weight area. Things are getting a bit dated though. An update like Louisville did would be awesome!

Nice to have around for those cold days we cant go outside. Kids enjoy the pool area for sure. Could use an update soon.

Bob Burger Rec Center is an outstanding facility and the best gym value in east Boulder county. Ive had an annual membership for the last six or seven years. The weight room is usually not too crowded in the early mornings (5-7am) and there is a good variety of free weights and machines. Ive also been involved in the masters swim program for many years, and thats a great group with excellent coaches.

Tried to cancel my membership in October. I gave my card over and filled out all the paperwork. I kept getting charged for the membership. Called to explain I canceled Flora the woman who answered the phone was rude and condescending claiming I never cancelled even though I handed in the physical card and the paperwork months prior. Please tell me what happened to the paperwork that I was required to fill out! Would not recommend.

For a city owned rec center, this is pretty good. Especially since its cheaper than the Boulder Recs or the YMCA. Great staff and weight room equipment. The pool temperature could be a little lower and more lane space availability, but you cant please everyone...

Great rec center. Love the pool. They have 6 lanes open til 10:30 am. The outdoor hot tub is the perfect place to relax after hard intervals. Locker room are kept clean.

First let me say, great place to work out, great equipment, friendly staff. Price is ok, but not great.If youre someone that enjoys swimming but works a day job, however, youre S.O.L.The highschool usurps all evening pool availability during the weekdays. They leave 2 lanes open for free swimmers, tho chances are one lane will be taken by yoga classes etc, and the other will be filled with children.You would think you could take advantage of the weekend to swim but unfortunately youre limited to standing in waist deep water as the entire deep end is dedicated to diving board use despite the fact there is plenty of room for free swimming.

Way better than anticipated. Their indoor pool is fantastic for little people. You dont have to be a Lafayette resident to go.

This is the best rec centers ever! I call it my 4 dollar spa because there is one outdoor hot tub, an indoor hot tub, waterfalls in the indoor one, and cool strong waterfalls in one of the small indoor pools. Plus a water slide and lazy river. It is kind of ridiculous. Plus the staff is super nice. Havent tried many classes as I take dance classes elsewhere, but when it comes to the pool it is fantastic.

Most inexpensive place with the MOST amenities. I wonder if they could work out staying open until 10 at least Monday through Friday? Closing at 7 on Friday is pretty early for some schedules

Ive been to this gym a hundred times and have never had a bad experience. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because I wish there was slightly more space. The staff is always positive and smiling.

I love Bob L Burger Rec Center in Lafayette. Ive been going there several times a week for 6 years and it feels like my home away from home. The staff, the facilities and the activities are all first class.

Great amenities, as a frequent gymgoer. Rarely busy for very long, and when it is busy, generally only cardio or machines are used and free weights are often open. Place feels very welcoming, longtime lifters frequent here as well as newbies.

My family loves this facility on the days that the weather wont let us play outside. That is because of the incredible indoor pool that they have! My daughter is their BIGGEST fan when it comes to the water slide. She will scurry up the ladder and down the two story twists of the water slide over and over again. Last time we were there I lost count of how much we went up and down - but I will never forget all the fun we had and her laughter! We also love the lazy river. Normally they have a great wading pool for the little kids, but that is closed for construction right now. I hope they open it again in time for winter!

I love this place for working out, playing basketball, and swimming. I recommend this place especially in the winter for a great time swimming with friends.

Excellent in everyway. Responsive to all age groups, abilities, and requests if possible. I found staff were helpful and cheerful even during their busy times. They have full service SeniorSneakers programs, multiple classes for all levels and ages, facilities are clean and well maintained. I highly recommend.

This is one of the best rec centers in the local area. There is a main pool, which runs swim lessons, lap swim, open swim, and other arobics classes, a lazy river, and a play pool for the kids, as well as a slide. There is both an indoor and outdoor hotub. Theres a large gym with many machines, and raquetball and basketball courts.

This is such an asset to our neighborhood! Clean, friendly, well-staffed. They offer free locks when you go in, and the locker rooms are comfy and clean. I highly recommend going.

A lil pricey for local day pass but the women locker room is top notch! Awesome private showers and a nice sauna.

Not enough space to stretch or do many workouts, members do not know how to rack weights after use, and the limited number of machines are used frequently for more than the allotted time.

Amazing swimming pools/program; very family-oriented; nice facilities and great staff....My only issue are the weekend and evening hours:it closes early on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and weeknights (pool, 7:30 pm, gym 8 pm) which is when I would like to use it most.It does, however open at 5 am..... Wishing they could shift the schedule or staff to allow a 10 pm close .

Complaint first I HATE their hours it definitely closes to early for us Workin folk. Other then that I love this place its clean and the update their equipment often which is something alot of gyms fail to do!

Great pool, great gym, great place! But the gym schedule online is out of date, and when I called to find out when it would be open for basketball on Monday, I was told that the schedule wouldnt be out until Sunday and to call back then. Huh? The schedule for Monday is released on Sunday? I think they can (and should) do better!

Not as modern as many, but somehow more comfy. Outdoor jacuzzi terrific. Steam & sauna. Staff always helpful. Racquetball courts, too.

Great way to stay in shape. Ha. This was a quaint indoor fun location for our children although the lazy river was a pond and the amenities listed were unavailable due to the lifeguards laziness.

I know a sick dude named Aidan Jacobs. He says he goes to the rec to lift for mass. And boy is he massive. The biggest and toughest dude around. Through his recommendations to get swoll U have to give this a 4 star rating.

Fun for the whole family, this rec center is well organized and a affordable way to entertain the kids. The staff is friendly and there is even a adult only hot tub outside.

Services are generally adequate, for a Community Serving place its prices are a bit steep.Yet ANOTHER place that needs desperately to create a Gender-Neutral Changing room. Its 2018, having only a mens/womens binary changing area isnt enough anymore.Will meet your expectations for a Rec Center.

Very sunny, clean, and safe environment!! I loved it.

This is a wonderful community center. There are lots of opportunities for all ages. I go there to work out early in the morning with a bunch of other regulars (Hi, Marty!), and there are lots of activities for kids. My daughter regularly does soccer and swimming there, and shes also done not-so-typical things like tree-climbing and the STEMgirls Take Stuff Apart workshop through the rec center. I highly recommend their summer camp, and several times every summer we rent boats on Waneka Lake for some inexpensive family fun. My hats off to you, BBRC.

People are nice. I like the swim punch card option. Otherwise, its a run of the mill rec center. It is quite busy and often crowded.
