Hands-down the best mechanic I’ve ever been to. Before I found them, I hated going to the mechanic’s, and always suspected I was getting cheated. Herrera’s isn’t flashy, but they’re honest and they will fix your car. They do good work, they do it quick, and they charge a fair price. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a mechanic for any reason.

Hector Herreras is a hard working, honest mechanic and has gone out of his way to accomodate us to get our work vans repaired when we had a time crunch. He stopped what he was doing and did our job that took about an hour one Saturday.His rates are very reasonable and his quality superb. He takes pride in doing a great job. We have had him work on about 5 of our vehicles and each time he explains things very well. It is nice to actually be able to talk to the mechanic that works on your vehicle to hear what they repaired, instead of a sales person at a desk. Ive taken my vehicles to Herreras for more than 10 years. They always do good work for a fair price. Hector and Lalo are honest and trustworthy and are patient as I try and describe my car problems. They never try and sell me extra fixes that the car doesnt need.

Hector and Lalo went above and beyond to help me! They fixed my car in one day (pretty big job) because I needed it back for work. They were super nice and not annoyed with all my questions, and to put the cherry on top they changed my oil for free! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Some friends referred me to this Herreras Auto repair, they all told me the prices and services were good so, I took my car for a break diagnosis/change, Mr. Hector did a very good job describing the problem and fixing it. My breaks are good now, rotors and breaks pads from the front and rear were changed. I paid a reasonable amount of money a lot less than previous estimate from other place. My car is working well, I hope it will continue like that. So fa so good, If anything change I will let them know.

The best repair shop in Lafayette, IN, I have 12 kids and step children, and 25+ grandchildren. Hector and Lalos have fixed many cars for me, They stand behind what they fix. If its not right they will make it right. Their prices are fair and they are quick at getting things done.m I cant say enough god things about them.

Last January, my car broke down suddenly a few blocks from Herreras Auto Repair shop. I looked up the closest mechanic and was able to drive it to Herreras Shop. It turned out to be the transmission. Despite the fact that I walked in without an appointment and he was busy, Hector looked at my car quickly and explained the problem to me.I didnt know what to do and called around several places to get estimates, but everyone was going to charge me much more than Hector. He repaired the transmission (rebuilt it) in a few days, and it has been in great shape ever since (its been nearly a year now).Hector is extremely kind and more than fair with his prices. Id recommend Herreras Auto shop to anyone!

We took car from the dealer to have it checked before we buy it.There was some strange noise after gear was changed.They took a ride and honestly said that it seems to be clutch related, but only hearing it, in a few min. they can not be totally sure.They checked some other things, told us what was wrong in the car, and did not took a single cent for it.Now we know: they were right, it was clutch related problem.
