I was told that my oil drain plug was damaged by whoever performed my last oil change and that it needed to be replaced at my next serviceThe problem with that is Cantin has done all of the scheduled maintenance on the car since its purchase so Cantin should get the plug call me /replace it for free seeing how their dealership is responsible..Also the car was not washed as it usually/has been despite the increase in cost of oil/etc.

Our experience at Cantin Chevrolet was 100% positive. Our sales person, Steve, was knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and efficient. Not once did we feel pressured or schmoozed, and he was lightning fast with follow-ups and was very accessible for phone calls and questions. Foster was super helpful, and we were not only given a fair dollar for our vehicle trade, but were also given sound information about financing. Alex, in finance, clearly knew the ins-and-outs of our warranty options, and presented them in a no-pressure manner. Our paperwork was set up and ready to go when we arrived, and the process was quick and painless. What has generally been a dreaded ordeal (car shopping/buying) was truly enjoyable. This review relates to the Cantin collision center. I have used the center approximately six times in the last 10 or more years. Without exception, the service has been friendly, timely, professional and as pleasurable as I could wish. My last visit was a few days ago for repairs to my wife’s Tacoma upon which she had rendered extensive “custom“ body redesign to one of the rear quarter panels. If I am unfortunate enough to have to visit a collision center/body shop again, I will be sure we engage the services of Cantin’s collision Center. Although all of the staff I have met are equally pleasant and helpful, I especially want to express my appreciation to the collision center manager, Brendan Quigley.

If you get anything tire related done there, make sure that you still have all of your center caps before you leave!!! Twice now tires have been rotated only to get home and realize center cap is missing. Even better, they wouldn’t do anything about it!

I purchased a 2021 Equinox LS from Cantin Chevrolet on 8/6/21, I worked with Cheryl and she was great! Cheryl was helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the Equinox. Cheryl facilitated the GM college discount for my son (co owner of the Equinox) and told us about the Chevy Rewards program which I knew nothing about. Cheryl made sure I had my rewards points before we left. Best of all, the Equinox LS at Cantins with only 14 miles on it cost less than the service department loaner Equinox LS at Banks Chevrolet with over 6,000 miles on it!

Awesome dealer service department! My daughter was visiting from Virginia Beach and had a bad wheel bearing on her 2015 Silverado. Not only did they get her an early appointment but the mechanic stayed late to track down the part. He had to get an aftermarket part and deal with warranty department to approve. Truck fixed and we made our scheduled departure time. Cant say enough about everyone at the dealership. Visiting NY and VA tourists treated as family and life long customers. Mildly disappointed that the car I went to look at that appeared in inventory on the website was not yet in stock (apparently they appear on the website as soon as they are sent to dealership, not when they actually arrive), though I did find a similar vehicle, Carl was fantastic to work with and Alex the finance guy was terrific too. All in all a great experience, I received a very fair trade in value for my car and left with a brand new car for the first time ever. Though my family typically does its Chevrolet business elsewhere, that dealership had little to no new inventory and so I had to switch dealerships for this lease, but would recommend Cantin to anyone looking.

Service department is great. I dont usually recommend the dealer for service but these guys do great work. They even gave me pictures of some internal engine damage, explained it and the possible future issues. Its also nice to get my car back washed even after an oil change.

Great Experience with the Body Shop! I just had body damage fixed after my husband ran over Rudolph on Christmas Eve. Happy to say Rudolph is well and only left some of his fur on my bumper. Shelby Goodwin was my sales rep, and she was extremely personable and knowledgeable. She even helped me set up the OnStar and Chevy app on my phone and made truck shopping fun! The finance manager Alex was also great. He was very professional and helpful without using any of the typical high pressure tactics or the last-minute surprise fees and surcharges you see elsewhere. We came in this past Saturday to look at a hard to find Audi Q7 diesel which Cantin had on their lot. Kaylynn greeted us and she had the car washed and ready for me to test drive. Im giving one star because I had a great buying experience with my sales agent but boy service is terrible. NOT the manager but everyone in service Ive spoken to are very unprofessional. I would rather drive the 40 minutes to go to Banks than to step foot back into Cantin. It took talking to the store manager and service manager for my needs to be met. Which wasnt anything out of the ordinary. Then I decided to just never go there again because all they have caused me is aggravation.

I was in need of a new (to me) vehicle due to an impending job change and lack of a company vehicle soon. I did some research online and I narrowed down things to a couple of different trucks. I don’t like to horse around when it comes to buying a vehicle. I know what I would like, what I need, and what I can afford so I need the people I am dealing with to listen first. This purchase at Cantin went as I would expect.I saw the truck and stopped to look at it. It was a little out of my ballpark price range but it looked good and had low miles. John came out, we talked, I test drove, figured out how to get it done, met with Alex and got it done. They delivered my truck to my house the following morning.Anyone who has dealt with vehicle sales people knows that there is sales pressure and if anyone says there is none is lying. I am in sales, there is pressure. There was not “undue” pressure to get things done with either John or Alex. They explained what was possible for extras and lightly pushed once for the upsell but gave me the facts to let me decide.A small issue with the vehicle after I took possession was handled satisfactorily in a timely and professional manner. It is never necessarily fun to buy a car, but the process at Cantin with John and Alex was easy. Very few car buying ventures is perfect so I only gave 4 stars. They would have received 9 of 10 or even 98 of 100 if I had been able. Thank you guys.

I had a small scuff on the trunk of my car. I took it to the collision center for an estimate. They got me an estimate within minutes. Once the paint came in a week later, Brendan gave me a call and got me in the very next day for the repair. When I dropped off my car he drove me to work and delivered my car to my workplace a few hours later - and the paint looks great. Now hows that for service? Well....again I had to have a collision repair done to my 2018 LTZ Silverado. Again, I chose Cantin Chevrolet to make my repair. Snow slid off a metal roof on a 3 story building and crushed the roof of my truck. I had to have the entire roof replaced. Quite an extensive repair. Again, Cantins repaired my truck back to new. Brendan, the body shop Director treated me with courtesy and respect through the entire process and gave me regular updates through the repair process. Rich, the body shop technician is nothing short of a true professional and craftsman. Rich took the time to explain the repair to me and walk me through it all, what a super nice guy! They treated my truck with extreme care and respect. When I picked it up it was perfect. Exceptionally clean inside/out and restored back to better than new condition. I am more than 5 star happy. This was a very technical repair and they handled it with ease, ahead of schedule, and on cost. Thank you Tom Cantin, Brendan, and Rich for your professional service. It is very much appreciated. Its nice to see that customer service and professionalism is still alive.

I did request a copy of ALL maintenance needed on my truck for the life of the truck and Cantins prices, over the phone they said they could email me but I never got it. When I asked at the service desk they said they couldnt do that for me. That does upset me a bit, but over all a great company.Update. I received an email and follow up to my review and they did give me as much information as they could about the maintenance for my truck and prices. As I stated before, they really are very helpful and a great company. They certainly have my continued business and I am grateful for a trustworthy dealership / repair center.

RE: Brendan QuigleyI purchased a Volvo XC90 due to the safety features and over the top service. Unfortunately, and to my dismay, the local dealership has stopped doing body repairs of any kind. I drove by Cantins and noticed they had a collision repair center. I reluctantly got a quote. To my surprise, it was reasonable and the staff very accommodating. Within a few days a received a call from the Collision Center Manager to discuss a part needed. Brendan was friendly, efficient, and explained why it was needed. My car was repaired within an earlier timeframe than anticipated, the cost was extremely reasonable. When I picked up my car, Brendan went over all the repairs, made certain I was satisfied and although it had not been detailed, it sure appeared at though it was. I was so pleased; I booked an appointment for my husbands pickup. Again the cost was less than I had been quoted initially, Brendan sourced and installed new headlights, as what came with the new vehicle was so dim that my husband left his high beams on. We could not be happier that he heard our concern, installed the new lamps, and restored the truck to almost new condition. I would and will recommend Cantins to anyone needing body repair and specifically ask for Brendan in the Collision Dept.

Went in for an inspection sticker on the last day of my birth month discovered my frame needed to be welded . I paid then for inspection, 2 weeks later I was not charged for the same inspection when the frame was repaired. Thank you

The employees worked together as a team to provide us with the information we needed, and to make the sale quick and convenient for us. They were very friendly and we felt they wanted to make sure we were happy with our purchase.
