Best Anytime fitness gym in Washington.Very clean and probably four or five times bigger than others. They have all the machines and free weight that its hard to find in other Anytime fitness.All members I encounter were very nice and respectful. Everyone disinfect and wipe down each equipment after use and puts the weight back!!!Compare to other gyms, fees are little more expensive, but ITS WORTH IT!!Especially this gym in Lacey.

The owner is no BS, didnt try to sell me things I didnt need, and was upfront about all costs. Fixed a billing situation easily.

I love this gym! The owner, Jared, is professional and friendly. He cares about your experience and your progress. And he’s always around. Qy-Ana is my trainer and she is phenomenal in every aspect: health and fitness knowledge, ability to teach and demonstrate, personable and an encourager. The facility is never too crowded when I’m there and the equipment is high quality and in good repair. It’s clean and bright, and enjoyable to be there. I highly recommend you join this club!!

Clean, well-run gym. The owner is a professional man. He doesnt put anyones personal business on blast in social media or reviews, nor does he exploit veterans and bodybuilders for personal gain. Very well-run place here and though the gym is smaller, its literally never packed and still provides everything and more needed to train. Great parking and perfect location.The locker rooms arent cramped and offer ample room for progress pictures, changing, and has a sauna. Oh, and theres no kids room here unfortunately but doesnt personally take away. Great community gym.

Everything you need to get in shape for sure. Hack squat.... Got it! Rowing machine..... Got it!

Cant say enough good things about this place. The staff is nothing but helpful and always polite. The gym is very sanitary, extra cleaning bottles at every station, hand sanitizing station installed throughout the gym. It is extremely important during this pandemic to keep your physical health in tip top shape so huge thanks to Anytime Fitness for being open and helping our community stay healthy.

Very large Anytime Fitness. The only negative for some (I dont care) some of the machines and benches have aging and cracked items, and much of the mirrors are hazy and not cleaned... (not that big of a deal but still) I would probably rate it 4.5 if I could.

Extremely quality facility! Great people, equipment, and environment. One favorite part: only 2 tvs! Another favorite part: multi-use/dance/yoga room in the middle, with the ability to turn the bright florescents off.

This was my first day signing up/working out at Anytime fitness and if I could give this place 1000/10 stars I would! Jared (the owner) gave me a tour and had exceptional customer service. Very respectful, kind and didn’t push a membership on me at any time. Getting a membership was very easy, affordable and took literally less than 5 minutes with zero issues. The gym itself is very clean, well renovated, and the overall vibe is very calm and doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable like a lot of gyms I’ve been to. So excited to have a new place to workout at that I genuinely enjoy.

Anytime Fitness in Lacey has helped me get back to my younger and stronger self after many years of being “sedentary”. I joined with Silver Sneakers and work out with Qy-Ana Kile every week for personal training. She keeps me progressing at a pace that is challenging but not more than I can do safely and confidently. I’ve lost 45 pounds in 6 months and find myself taking river trips and wilderness hikes I never thought I’d do again. It’s never too late.

Being one of the few gyms open in Washington right now these folks are doing a great job to accommodate the fitness community. Were fortunate to have them.

Great environment, great staff, friendly and welcoming. Everyone is always ready to help. Front desk staff and trainers are awesome. Facility is Clean and if something needs attention they are quick to find a solution. Caring, Educated and friendly people. If your goal minded they are there to help you achieve that. They also support many different local charities, so they are truly in the business of helping people. Dont overlook this gym if your looking for a way to get to a healthier place. There is much more to a gym than just weights.

I have been a member of Lacey Anytime Fitness for almost a year now. What sold this place to me was a Mixed Fit group fitness class. It is very hard to find a smaller gym with fitness classes available at no additional cost.Mixed Fit class is led by Jen and sometimes Jeremy in Lacey location. They are some of the most delightful and energetic people I have ever met. I leave this class with sense of accomplishment and huge positive energy. It feeds your body and soul. I am looking forward to this class every week.The overall facility is great. Very friendly staff will greet you any time you come in.Can’t be more happy!

I lucked out when I hooked up with my trainer Samantha! Staff are very friendly & helpful. They even installed a grab bar in the walk in shower for me when I asked for one. And dont feel like one in a herd if cattle!

OK where do I start! Just got done with a group class! The trainer becky was amazing! I have never had a work out like that in my life and as a guy going to the gym for the past 10 years I’ve never been pushed that hard! One of the BEST Anytime Fitness Locations Ive been to. Out of about 50+ different AF locations Ive been to, this is in the top 5. Hige gym, tons of equipment, FULL locker rooms. Clean gym, even has a juice bar up front. Dont let the average rating of 4.2 scare you off, this is a true 5 star facility.

My time at Anytime Fitness in Lacey has been fantastic, the facility is much bigger than most Anytime Fitness gyms, and its kept very clean and organized. They have a much larger assortment of weights and equipment compared to most Anytime Fitness gyms as well!The staff is very friendly and always greets each member when they come in the door and leave. They offer personal training, and have knowledgeable trainers as well!Been with them for 6 years now, never had a problem they couldnt fix out for me, theyll treat you like you treat them, which is how it should be! Regardless, a lot has changed over the years, but the gym and staff has gotten to be like a second family to me.Great classes, great staff, great experience!

Wow.Those who do not travel to other AF locations may not realize how different this location is from the standard AF. Though bigger is not always better (ha), I love small gyms, especially my home gym which is one sixth the size of this place. I have yet, in 150+ different AF visits, seen one this equipped and expansive. When I walked in I immediately thought my fob accidentally got me into a 24 hour fitness, and theres a reason I dont belong to 24 hour fitness, generally I dont like large gyms (and the fact as soon as you walk into the mens room at a 24 hour fitness theres naked dudes as far as the eye can see). I dont know what this gym is normally like when busy but as far as the facility, just incredible. Thank you management, you guys have a special facility here!Hugely truck accessible via adjacent shopping centers.

Two of the three water fountains have been broken for at least 5 months. Water from the water fountain tastes awful. One of the only anytimes that I’ve been to that doesn’t have the filtered water fountains. They have a small jug of water from a filtered system at the front desk but there isn’t only water in it when there is staff working.Front desk workers and trainers are awesome.New ownership seems too worried about the bottom line compared to previous ownership which makes it feel less friendly in the club.

This gym is the best in Lacey! The staff are so helpful and kind. They make me feel comfortable, in the most uncomfortable place! I see the staff cleaning every day! One of my favorite things was getting a complimentary fitness consultation with a personal trainer! ONE HOUR FREE, just because i signed up! Its good to hear Ill see you tomorrow. They hold me accountable. Just what I need! If youre looking for a place to get healthy at, this is the place for you! The people below me, if you think the billing process is shady? Its the same thing as a phone bill, whether you use the phone or not... YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY. Its common sense. Not only that, but the staff up front are very thorough when explaining the contract to you. Ask any questions that you have, and they will respond with the truth.

This gym is huge compared to many anytime fitnesses I’ve visited. As someone that travels, having a gym to stop by for a quick workout and shower is very convenient. The facilities seem to be modern and appear to have all the necessary equipment for any workout; but this gym is missing a key necessity. This anytime fitness doesn’t provide towels, soap, or shampoo, which is a first experience for me at any gym. I left dissatisfied that this franchise missed part of what makes anytime fitness such a great deal... the ability to work out and shower anywhere a person is traveling.

Love this gym. Not too big, definitely not small. It sucks that the one near my house is trash. This gym in lacey is always kept clean. bright, lots of places to work out at in the mornings as it doesnt get too busy. I love the machines. It feels personable without being too cold. bathrooms and showers are always clean and the workers there are awesome!

Great price for the selection of equipment. Clean and well air conditioned and ventilated. Professional staff. Room to work out without feeling like a Seattle commuter. I highly recommend this gym.

If I could give anything less than 1 star I would. Customer service doesnt have as much knowledge as they should and they dont follow Washington law. We will see how the cancellation process goes as I have to give 30 days notice. I work under contract and my job ends August 31st, Im within my term and the $175 cancellation fee per Washington law cannot be charged for loss of employment. If I have to, I will go to the Attorney Generals office and file a report with the BBB as it is ridiculous.Now granted, the facility is well kept and the convenience of being open 24 hours is great. The cons far outweigh the 1 pro as the business itself isnt ran for the consumer, only to bring in money for the owners. From a business standpoint, its a great model to get customers roped into a ridiculous contract. Although, being in a customer focused business means your focus should be on the customer. Retaining customers is first and foremost and practicing business on the shady side will lose you more business than it will ever gain you.Another bad thing here, if you are a true lifter, there isnt much of the typical preferred lifting materials here. There is 2 squat racks that are intended to be used as multipurpose racks ie bench, incline bench, etc. There is no proper bench or incline bench.This gym is meant for those who take fitness seriously light. Someone who intends to stay close to the gym itself and never intends to move or lose their job.Join at your own peril or if you support Planet Fitness, its your choice.

Edit 10/16/19: The owner reached out to me personally to discuss the issues listed below. Based on that conversation, he has assured me of the plan he has for the gym moving forward. Some issues he had already addressed. The shower partitions have been replaced, improvements have been made to the cable machines, carabiners have been replaced, and overall the gym seemed clean with equipment put away during the staffed hours. He also even offered to change the selection of music being played during the time that I work out. I appreciate the customer care and willingness to accept feedback.Original Review:When I started my membership 6 months ago, the staff member I spoke with told me that the gym was getting renovated within the next few months because ownership had changed. I know other members who have been there longer and said that ownership changes every few years. Since Ive been a member there, zero improvements have been made to equipment or to the facility that I have noticed.The locker rooms are gross with shower walls that are falling apart (have since been fixed) and soap/paper towel dispensers that are constantly empty. Also the workout area is dusty with many weights and equipment being left out for long periods of time. There has been a mat with perfect pushups in the center room literally every single time I have been in.The equipment is older and needs some TLC. Sometimes Ive seen equipment missing bolts or screws. The cable machines add resistance for you because they need attention. There are also some cable machines with carabiners that do not match what they should be.The music is not great. Like a bad grocery store slew of the worst hits from the 80s, 90s and 00s. Bring your headphones if youre going to work out here, but also, dont count on being able to drown out the music entirely - speakers are directly over equipment.The upside to the gym would be that it is close to where I live and never busy when I go in the morning. Also the hours. The staff is friendly when I see them.

This gym is great! I dont understand why the previous posters complain so much. The billing is there out in the open. Read the fine print and understand the billing process BEFORE you sign anything anywhere. If you sign it, you take responsibility. Anyway, the review should be about the gym not how much money it costs. The gym is great and the staff members are awesome. There is a lot of room to spread out and have your own space. They have a lot of equipment and it is all new. The only downfall is that I expect other ATF gyms to be like this one when I travel and they are not. I

Quite gym tucked away. Never extremely busy and very clean. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Theyre always there to greet you when you walk in. Overall a cute gym with all the equipment you need for a great workout.

This gym is fantastic! The dumbbells go all the way to 130lbs. Most gyms only offer 100lbs if they even have heavy dumbells.The staff is wonderful and super helpful and they make it a pleasure to walk in every day. I also love the protein bar which is an amenity that most clubs dont offer. Theres nothing better than getting my cold protein shake made for me after my workout and made by such friendly people. Couldnt recommend enough.

I travel a lot and see many ATF gyms. I have to say that Lacey is one of my favorites. The guys and gals at the desk are always friendly and really enjoy helping.The gym is spacious, clean, and well laid out for the type of work out you need. They even have a cool virtual tour allowing you to share with friends with just a link. The juice bar is great too, but I have to talk to someone about the products. Overall my favorite ATF!

Any gym is a great place to work out and get in shape. I agree to that much, but I dont feel comfortable being hassled into buying a membership. Show me around, Give me some membership options and layout a price. Ill do the rest from there!

Instructors are wonderful. Friendly, kind, generous, and knowledgeable about fitness. If you need help, they are there for you. A joy to go to. If you are in the area check them out.

I have been to many different gyms over the last 10 years and this place takes the cake for over all best experience. I wouldnt mind them diversifying their cardio equipment, but that complaint is pretty minor. If your listening Anytime, please add a real stair machine and a cardio ladder, everyone would appreciate it.

Solid gym, has just about everything youd want, power racks, dumbbells plenty of benches. Standard anytime fitness equipment I guess. Private showers which is nice.

If I could I wouldnt give this gym any stars. Where do I begin, the girls running the front are absolutely rude, and dont help you at all. I cancelled my account AFTER my contract was up and Im STILL getting charged for the membership fees!!! Ive called ABC financial they give you the run around. Ive just decided that its been more hassle than its worth and Ive made a report to the BBB.

The head trainer rips people off constantly. I have a bachelors in exercise science, and the workouts she takes people through are garbage and worthless. Even worse is she charges more than any trainer Ive ever heard of, completely taking advantage of people. They also try to trick people into getting a personal trainer by saying you have to do a consultation with one of their trainers. They called me wife for over a month, and finally stopped when I told them to stop calling. Thumbs down all around.

Avoid!!!!!!!!!Locker Room style shower rooms sad the only good thing about this gym is most have private shower rooms but this one is locker room style.

Showers are so tiny they are unusable. There is one larger handicap shower that everyone fights over. This would absolutely be a deal breaker if this gym were ever very busy.

This is the nicest, cleanest, hugest - Anytime Fitness west of the Mississippi.

Anytime Fitness is Lacey is a gorgeous, very well equipped, reasonably priced, full service gym.

Okay convenient 24 hour gym, lots of parking space, very clean but no water fountains so bring your own bottle if water they only had a small container that is only fill with mostly ice specially at night and do not provide cups, clean white towels arent always available during night time.

This place is awful. Never ending contracts, over charging for everything. A bunch of bodybuilding machinery and no open space. No classes, although they charge extra every month for them. No one there to help you, just attitude from the front desk, during the few hours anyone is actually there.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Ridiculous fees, bad service, SHADY billing and diminished returns. Not only are their fees twice what comparable clubs charge in the area, every single time Ive needed to deal with a billing issue, it has been like pulling teeth. Sophie, when asked to correct my credit card information has been reluctant, surly and has done it incorrectly (after much idignant eyerolling) in every instance. I thought that Id be happy to report that she finally managed to give good customer service on the day she happily cancelled my membership, but turns out she could only cancel half of it, and I find out a month later when Im billed AGAIN for the ABC-Rio Tanning part of my membership.That speaks to the shady billing practices of ABC Financial and Anytime Fitness. Hoping to bypass more aggravation and disrespect, I contacted ABC Financial directly and was told Anytime Fitness and Rio Tanning had separated several months ago. Anytime Fitness and Rio Tanning had separate facillities and separate addresses. Rio Tan was now located at 4100 6th Avenue Lacey and Anytimes Facillity was still at 4200 6th Ave.There is NO RIO TANNING FACILLITY IN LACEY, TUMWATER or OLYMPIA. 4100 6th ave DOES NOT EXIST as a physical address. The location NEXT to Anytime Fitness (4200 6th ave) is 4160 6th ave.According to ABC Financial, Anytime Fitness had for months had its own tanning.Interestingly enough, I have only been billed by Rio Tanning the entire time Ive had my membership. It is difficult to end a Rio Tanning membership even though THERE IS NO USEABLE RIO TAN FACILLITY IN THE AREA. ABC Financial LIED and then laughed in my face.When I went to the club directly to confront them directly, the new manager was pleasant enough, said she would pass the information on to the owner-- but also indicated that ABC had already contacted them in advance of my arrival. She also had no answer as to where the separate Rio Tanning facillity might be located at 4100 6th ave (does not exist). When I did receive a call back, she indicated that my membership had been cancelled but because I had not given 30 day notice-- I went in person during staffed hours in June to cancel my membership-- that I would not be reimbursed the cost. I will contact the Attorney Generals office about deceptive business practices and fake addresses.Do a google search for ABC Financial Rip Off report for a database of consumer complaints against ABC Financial (The Ripoff Report, consumer database)In the meantime, I have joined and reccommend Thrive Community Fitness in Lacey-- friendly, bright, cheery-- maybe not all the circuit training equipment that ATF has, but they have a child care room and the exact opposite of the Weve got your credit card number so F you. attitude of Anytime Fitness/ABC FinancialIf a cold, empty gym with smug, crappy service is what you need, by all means go to ATF.If not-- go ANYWHERE else.
