I have been going here for personal training for some time and it has been extremely worth my money and time. I work out with Desmond and he is not only an amazing trainer but also an amazing person. He truly cares about your growth, wants whats best for you, and will cater every workout to your needs. He is extremely knowledgeable about anything related to fitness and health and has helped me come a long way in my fitness journey. Cannot say enough good things about him and I recommend him to anyone looking into PT!

Thrive is a good gym for patient people. It fills up quick and is not very big. There are typically wait times for using equipment.Two aspects that led me to switching gyms:1. A LOT of seniors2. Not much variety1a. I have respect for the elderly, but they take so dang long and use this gym for social hour. Seriously, move out of the way and go talk about your afternoon plans elsewhere so that I can use the machine you’re using for your date.A gym is where you exercise your body, not take 10 minute social breaks in between sets.SUMMARY:Good and functional gym. The franchise owner is a hard worker and I admire his work ethic. If you’re not very patient and are more serious about your exercise this may not be the gym for you though

This establishment is huge, has everything that you need to stay in shape and stay healthy. The gym itself is amazing, and open, I love it the natural light in the day, add since Thrive Community Fitness in Lacey is a 24 hour business, you can go at night and theres not too many people working out. A basic, fairly inexpensive gym with standard cardio equipment, strength training machines, and free weights. Offers various monthly classes and a kids play area. Bathrooms are complete with showers, dry sauna, and lockers.

Fantastic gym. staff very kind. Weekends are so empty and I rarely wait to use any equipment. I love the 24 hour benefit. The massage chair is great too.

Honest family owned gym. Clean, serviceable, and not usually over crowded.

Staff is great, atmosphere is awesome. Just very relaxed and ample equipment and space to work out. The only thing Id change is the lack of mirrors. There can never be enough mirrors. Other than that, its a great local gym and all the staff and the owner are super friendly and a pleasure to be around.Oh yes another thing,This is a safe gym to work out in if youre not comfortable working out around women with little discretion. Theres another local gym that is literally okay with one walking around in a speedo or bikini, but not here. Very family friendly.

Thrive Fitness is an incredible gym. For the past 25 years I have been a member at many gyms. Today I joined Thrive. I am so excited to have this gym so close to home. Thrive is very accommodating in so many ways. Not only do they have hours to be open 24 hrs. But I found the staff super friendly the gym was very clean and has an incredible atmosphere. Oh and I loved the hydro message too. :)

The place is a bit dated, owner always makes sure to say hi and staff are very friendly. Great community feel, but a bit crowded since the facility is small.

Thrive Community Fitness has everything necessary to smash your fitness goals. There is space for full-on HIIT, plenty of cardio machines, and of course, the full spectrum of free weights, and cable machines.The equipment is in good supply, well maintained, and kept clean. The staff are friendly, always ready to help, and always ready to maintain order.

Had two awful experiences with staff in less than a month (one of them being the owner). I was pushed to sign up for personal training plans that didnt fit my lifestyle or fitness goals (Im a runner, and was pushed to switch to strength so I could lose the last 10 lbs - weight loss was NOT my goal, which I said repeatedly). A few weeks later I was approached and asked to put on a sweater because there was 2 of skin showing between my tank top and high waisted leggings when I was stretching - apparently my outfit wasnt contributing to the culture they wanted to encourage.This place is cheap, but so is Planet Fitness, without the shame vibe. Go there instead.

I love this place. One of the few gyms that have remained open during the pandemic with little to no cases. Social distancing and masks required.

Compared to the other gyms in the area, I like this one. I guess because it truly feels like a community gym. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It meets my needs. The only thing I could say is I wish I didnt have to use mats for cushion during deadlifts just because I have to stand on something else (platform, other plates) to compensate for the elevated barbell. Its not a deal breaker but would be nice not having to do the extra work. But I get it because its not on the ground floor.

I dont want to leave a good review just because I dont want this place to get crowded, but for the price what you get is pretty nuts. Two squat racks, two benches, plenty of cardio equipment. Would be nice to get the squat racks more separated as currently two people cant load/unload weights at the same time. Id like to see is a lateral raise machine too, but mostly they have everything and often two of it.Its getting more crowded at night but still generally not that busy. I decided to leave a review because theyve answered several of my questions on Facebook Messenger, which most gyms wouldnt do.

Ive tried other gyms and have never found one as amazing as this on. The staff are what truly make this place worth the drive. The equipment is top of the line as well 💪

Ive been a member here since 2018. I started seeing a trainer at the end of last summer and have had pretty amazing results so I might be biased :) Everyone there is incredibly friendly but I think what touched me the most is that the owner participates in a program that gives people with certain challenges a chance to work there. Every other day or so, therell be someone there helping clean equipment/tidy up with a chaperone. I think its amazing that the owner does this and it warms my heart whenever I see it. The pricing for training isnt too bad compared to some of the larger chains and yes, the place is very clean and rarely crowded when I go. I like Thrive!

Has every free weight and machine I need. Not crowded early in the morning.

As far as the facility goes, this place is just fine. Be prepared to be nickeled and dimed though. We started out with the $24 membership. When we downgraded to the regular membership there was a fee. Forgot to mention that when we first signed up. Then the pandemic hit. Didnt go for months. Only remember about it when I saw a charge on my card. My fault. Went in on August 10th and told them I wanted to cancel. They still made me pay them for August before I could cancel. And this is on top of already paying them for a last month. So to cancel I still had to pay for August on top of already paying for September. When the pandemics over and I feel comfortable going to the gym again I will certainly not be coming back here. Hope you enjoyed my August fee, itll be the last money of mine youll see.

I researched all the local gyms. Thrive is the most affordable, with great classes and is clean. I only wish yoga was offered more than at 8pm

I’ve been a member here for the last 5 years and have enjoyed using this gym since day one. Always clean, including locker rooms. Staff are friendly and down to earth. Equipment is in really good shape and I don’t recall seeing any “out of order” signs on anything for longer than it would take to order in the part. Sad that my recent move out of the area resulted in needing to leave this gym, otherwise I can’t think of a better facility. I would absolutely recommend this gym to friends and family

Thrive is my favorite place to be. Ive been a member for 2 years and havent had a single unpleasant experience yet. Its always comfortably clean, in sight and smell. Workers are nice and positive. The owner, Paul, is friendly and professional. Managers, Steven and Danni, are committed and competent. I love the child care teachers they are kind and patient and good at communicating with parents and kids. Class instructors are personable and experienced. And the personal trainers are ready and equipped to help you reach your fitness goals. Come on in, and take a tour!

I am not a member of this gym, I meet up here with a walk/run group called the Joggernauts, and we start the walk/run from the parking lot and finish here as well. Scott, the creator of this group, sets up a 5k and an 8k course starting and ending at the Thrive Community Fitness center. This group walk/runs all year long starting at 9 am on Saturdays.

The gym is great. Just know if you use it during off hours, the showers are not available. But management and owners are amazing.

The best gym in Lacey. I have been a member here for 4 years. It is a family oriented environment. They have military discounts. I prefer to work out on the weekend and not drive 30 miles to and from the gym on post. The staff and trainers are very friendly. They are true professionals at what they do. The gym is very clean because the staff constantly clean common areas. There are plenty of classes to participate in throughout the week and a spacious area for weightlifting.

Been going for 5 weeks now... Not very crowded but the space is small so it feels a little tight at times, Less Mills instructors are very good. Employees are very nice. Could be a little cleaner as for as non equipment goes. All in all its a really good place to go.

This gym is EXCELLENT for so many reasons! I have never felt more comfortable or welcome in a fitness facility. The staff welcome everyone by name and immediately offered me a full tour. The childcare IS GREAT. This was my escape from the kids- I could work on myself knowing that theyre well taken care of. The equipment is well maintained and the personal training staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and effective!

I’ve had a membership for about 4 yrs, love that it’s close to my house and not packed all the time. Went on a 3 week vacation came back toFind they charge for towels now! $5 a month, pretty disappointing.

I love my gym. People come here to workout not showoff. At the time I come, mid-morning, access to equipment is great. The place is clean and equipment is well maintained.

The group ex team here is passionate and one of the best teams around. With all kinds of class offerings, you can find something you love to move to. The trainers give you personal attention and bring the intensity where you need it.

Thrive is a very welcoming place. From the friendly staff to the clean facilities this is by far the best gym I have been a member of. The range of equipment allows you to cover all key areas and their training staff is very knowledgeable.

I love the fact that as a guest I was able to pay $5 for a class and never once was I hounded/emailed/called to join the gym unlike other places that are all about high pressure sales..I ended up joining because they have the best classes/instructors! and like that the owner is frequently on site to answer questions.

Great community of people! A clean and well-equipped facility with a wide variety of group programs. I practice my workouts at all times of the day as early as 5am and as late as 5pm, Ive never had occasion to not use any equipment needed for any workout on any day. The staff is super as is the owner, Paul!

With the growing number of memberships my only fault is that it can be difficult at times to get workout completed from the amount of people to equipment ratio. especially free weight section. I maybe going at all the wrong times as well but Its great there.

Not enough room for all the machines and weights upstairs. Would hit my arms on walls or pillars using certain machines. Hard to navigate upstairs if even slightly busy. Religion brought up in mission statement for some reason? Staff was friendly at least!
