Getting to the next customer was prioritized over doing a good job. Instructions were totally dismissed. Stylist cut my hair however she wanted giving me a completely different haircut from what I asked for. Confidence is at a new low.

They did me so dirty. Hair stylist didn’t do as I ask. I was the last customer of the day and it seems as she just rushed my cut to get out earlier. No care or attention given. Even my boss told me my hair looks stupid. Update, great customer service I received a refund

Set up an appointment for 9:00am. Arrived for my appointment. Was told that my stylist would not be coming in and that I could wait for the only stylist in the building to finish their appointment before getting my hair cut. Couldve called me beforehand, but apparently their time is more valuable than mine. Will not be returning.

A major step above the low cost hair cut venues. This place was pretty busy. It was my first time here and I got a free wash because of it. I got a Floyds Cut. When it says Tapered, it sure was. There were about 5 different heads plus a straight razor for the back. I was set up with Angel and she was very kind and helpful when I gave her limited information of how I wanted my hair. I will be returning, but using her advice of calling ahead or booking online as it can get busy.

Waited for a half hour. Barber did not listen to my instructions. Terrible haircut. Will have to pay someone else to fix this mistake. Barber said i am going to shampoo and condition your hair, as if to suggest he was giving it to me for free because when I made my appointment I did not ask for shampoo and conditioner because I know it cost extra. Then I was charged for it. Absolutely terrible service do not recommend.

After over a year I couldn’t find my stylist Angel.(she left her old shop) I had happened to run into her at the grocery store and she told me where she’s now at!! Angel has been cutting my hair for 6 years and I finally found her! I went in the other day and Floyd’s is Such a cool shop and it fits Angel!! I went in and she was surprised to see me. Sat down and she remembered my haircut!! She explained the services and I’m so happy to have her again!! Was in town for a family event and went by for a haircut and shave. Dawson gave me a great cut that was exactly what I wanted. Her shave was just as good. Shes very friendly and made the time in her chair an amazing experience.

In the past I have been very pleased with the haircuts at Floyd’s. However I was a bit surprised that after spending 15 minutes explaining how I wanted my haircut it was not done that way at all....My hair was rinsed with just water. No shampoo or conditioned was applied.I did not receive a message after the haircut.

First Time Visit: Great Atomosphere and very welcoming staff. My boyfriend initially came in for his haircut. And after seeing who was giving him his haircut reassured me that she was definitely the right person. Angel cut my hair and did a superb job. Was very patient with my million questions and made me comfortable. It took me a year to finally get a haircut after a horrendous experience at another haircut location. I had one of the best haircut experiences of my life at Floyds. When I went, Ann was my stylist and she did an amazing job. I got the haircut, beard trim, and shampoo. She was so friendly throughout the whole experience and she did an AMAZING job on my hair. Im now a die-hard fan of Floyds and have finally found a place that I can get my haircut without worrying about how it will come out.

First time going to a different barber after 20 years. I walked and was set up with Ryan K. She did a great job and gave me the skin fade I wanted. When you walk in, specify if your looking for a barber or a stylist and what your looking to get and they set you up with the right person. I suggest calling ahead if your looking for something complex. I recommend Ryan all the way.

The person who cut my hair did a terrible job. Prior to her actually cutting it, we verbally talked it out and I agreed with her consensus 100% on how she would approach it. Her skills/execution with the scissors left MUCH to be desired.Everything we had discussed was the polar opposite of the product. The sides were cut terribly. The length of my sides seemed to be in proportion with the top of my head, which a barber from Floyd’s should know how to do minimum. Top was cut quite nicely but however the neckline was atrocious. Possibly the worst I’ve ever seen/had, neckline was cut patchy and inconsistent with my natural neckline. Needless to say I’ll probably be visiting places dedicated and tailored for men from now on. I would suggest that men should stay away. As for women I can’t speak to how good they are at cutting women’s hair but proceed at your own caution.

Would give them 5 stars but Ive been going here for about a year now and they have raised prices twice already!!! Jennifer C. (hairstylist) is the only reason Im still going there...She does a GREAT job!P.S. 08/15/19 Again they raised their prices!!! I would give Floyds ZERO stars if I could!

Great atmosphere and talented barbers and stylists. They have a distinctive alt rock theme from the entire wall be covered in rock posters, the actual music they play which is curated in-house (I believe theres a Floyds radio station online you can listen to), and their barbers/stylists all have that alt rock persona with most proudly displaying ample tattoos, etc.But make no mistake, THIS PLACE IS VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY. Its really the perfect blend. If I want to go there by myself (as an adult 40yo dude) Ill enjoy the conversation, the music, the wall art, etc---but if I want to take my 4-5yo kids in, theyll be treated wonderfully and enjoy the experience just as much as i do. Great value as well for around $30 for a haircut. (A simple dudes haircut)

Damn fine haircut

I had a very fine haircut at Floyds recently. It was done by a young woman who was skilled and friendly, but didnt flirt. As a first-time customer, I teceived a complimentary shampoo and head massage under a hot towel - heaven. Women have their own salon section and everyone seemed to be having a relaxed good time. As a walk-in, I waited no more than five minutes for a chair. Highly recommended.

Jessa is hands down of of the shining stars of this location. If it did not take her away from being a barber she should run this place. She embody everything Floyds 99 tries to sell you with its image. Young, energetic, full of life, and inspiring style. If you want to try something new, definitely consider Floyds 99.

Lauren did my 6 year old daughters first haircut, and she was awesome! She also did my hair too! Very pleased with the results. Lauren is amazing! Well definitely be back to have her do our hair again. The rest of the staff was friendly, and cool atmosphere.

My go to haircut place! Usually have great service but sometimes you can get someone bad. My suggestion would be find someone you like and ask for them specifically each time you go

I recently came here for the first time and saw Diana who is awesome! I’m always nervous that stylists won’t understand what I want with my cut but she took the time to make sure we were on the same page and that I would be happy with what we decided. Ive been going to Floyds in Lagrange for a little over a year which is a big deal as previously I just went to any place that was close (and or the cheapest) when I needed a haircut. The main reason I gave this salon 5 stars is my stylist, Alicia B. Ive seen a few people there and they were all very good, but Alicia was the best and she has kept me from going to other salons. She is extremely talented and cuts my hair very well. She has assisted me with growing different hair styles. I do not have great natural hair and never received compliments for it before. But, after going to Alicia, I have received many compliments regarding my hair. Alicia has also been grooming my beard that Ive been growing out for the first time. I was totally clueless but she has helped me a lot and I now get compliments for the beard as well. She has recommended products to me that work well and have helped me, whereas I have had other places just try to sell me things that I dont need. It is a herculean task to make me look half way decent, but Alicia manages to do that and then some without a problem every time I see her. Alicia is also a kind and funny person. My writing skills will not allow me to do her justice here.The shop itself has a good feel. The decorations, music, and look of the employees give the place a good personality. The salon is very clean and looks modern. Also, I really like being able to schedule appointments on their iphone app. My life is very chaotic and it makes it very convenient for me to fit appointments into my schedule. The app shows all the stylists schedules for the coming week, so with minimal effort you can get the time you want with the stylist you want. You also get text reminders of your appointments if you want, which is very nice.The front desk staff have always been very pleasant and helpful. There was once a scheduling issue which they called immediately to inform me so that I could pick a new appointment. Their swiftness avoided any inconvenience. This has only happened once in over a years worth of appointments.I recommend Floyds and particularly this Lagrange location. Many of the stylists there are very talented but I highly recommend Alicia B.I selfishly hesitated to write this as I didnt want to increase competition within Alicias schedule but she deserves the review.

I will admit, the first time I went here, had a great haircut. The few in between, not the best but it wasnt a big deal to me because I just wanted a short cut. Went in today around 1pm and I asked for Alicia. Best cut I have gotten by far. Barely had to say a word, like she knew already what I wanted done. Very friendly as well, cant go wrong with that. But overall, Floyds 99 is a good place to go for everyone.

They do a great job there. I have had my hair cut by a lot of people and I am very critical. All have done an exceptional job. Their products are good but extremely expensive. They dont push too hard but I typically ask for recommendations. Overall a great experience.

The shop was nice looking and busy. I stopped when my local Barber was out and was need need of a cut. This desk staff was nice, I just like for the stylist to listen to what I asked. She asked how I like my cut I explained it and she did what she wanted. I dont know if all the stylist are like this but Im not willing to find out.

Walked into Floyd’s on a rainy day and loved how I didn’t have to wait at all, but my haircut wasn’t as expected. I told the barber what I wanted and it seemed as if she was struggling to cut my hair. Had my hair washed as it was my first time, but after the trim and my hair dried off, I found that the top of my head was in patches when I got to my car. Had to get my head buzzed some place else..

I dont like the way Angel cut my sons hair. It is way too short! Wanted the top of his hair to remain long and sides short. She cut everything too short. She didnt seem too friendly either.

I love this place because of Sarah (sorry, dont know her last name). She is really nice, considerate, warm and easy to talk to. Shes shown me to have an awesome memory because she remembers little details about my cut. Its great to have a person to cut my hair that I can see regularly. If you are new to Floyds, Id recommend Sarah.

You may have a 20-30 min wait, BUT ITS WORTH IT! This is mainly for men. And if your looking for a barber that actually knows what her/hes doing (diffrent hair styles, takes there time to make you satisfied, etc) than this is your place!

Rock and roll music piped in accompanied by visual and artsy rock and roll decor makes this a unique hair cut experience. Oh!! They cut hair too... and very well, I might add. I usually get the Floyds hair cut but their menu offers a variety of choices that should help anyone. While this place caters to both sexes, Ive seen mostly guys using their service.

My first time there and it was a great experience. I don’t get haircuts very often so I don’t exactly have a loyalty to a particular place so I think I may have found a permanent place where I can go and trust that’ll they do a great job. Jennifer was wonderful. Looking forward to coming back.

1 hour and 15 minute wait. My barber, Guillermo, touted that he is the best. So not true!! He cut hair without any style, not to mention the cut that I received. Clippers and scissors seemed to be slightly on the dull side. Music that is playing was great but Floyds is all flash. Its a Hair Cuttery that is masked in hype, posters, and music at very high prices. I gave it a try but will not be back.

Visited from St. Louis over the weekend. Needed a haircut and I chose Vivian. She was outstanding. Im very picky about my haircut. Havent found a barbershop in St. Louis that does it the way I want so Ive been cutting it myself for 4 years. She listened and cut it exactly how I wanted. I have been going to this location for 4 years. I feel like the quality of the service has gone down. Last two cuts were not that good and the wait times can be a little outrages. My last stylist did not clean the neck line with straight razor or offer a machine message. I am not sure if I will go back. Might try other options in the area.

Very bad experince with your barber, AngelI asked for a trim, my hair went down to nearly my shoulders, I came out with hair that at most is an inch long. I will not be returning.I even showed the barber a picture of what I wanted, and said that I only wanted a bit off the sides and back, I said to leave the top mostly untouched. Id also like to say that this is not the first time this has happened, with the same barber as well.

They have provided great cuts for our boys 12 & 9. Theyve even helped our one son lop off his hair and create a new style.

Its expensive, but I feel the quality of cut makes up for the expense. Their hours are also great, which again makes up for the expense. My big issue is it is rather loud. I suppose that and the fact that they asked if I wanted an eyebrow trim make me old.

I walked in and there was one person ahead of me in line. I sit down expecting for one of the register ladies to greet me, or ask me to check in. I sat there for 15 minutes and not one employee acknowledged my presence or greeted me. I cant believe three people were working the register and not one of them greeted me to check in? Ive been here before so this isnt a review on the quality of the haircut, this is about the abysmal customer service. They just lost a customer.

Great stylists they deserve 5 stars. Reason for 1 star today is because I checked in as a walk in and was told it would be 5 minutes or less to get a stylist to take me in.Waited 40 minutes and the girl that checked me in asked me which stylist I was waiting for, I said I was a walk and was for first available, her response was uh huh and walked away.Waited another 10 minutes to have a stylist approach me and say hi Zach! Again I laughed. Hey at least they make me laugh if I didn’t get a haircut. Cancelled my “walk in” and left with no haircut. My whole family comes here and maybe it will be in the past only.
