This place is #1 in my book for wheels, tires, and customer service. Andrew has been my personal savior both times I damaged the wheels/tires on my Camaro. First of all, the service doesnt get any better. Prompt, genuine, helpful, and high quality work. Wheel repair, new tires, alignment... all A+. Also, they found me wheels I needed in a size that doesnt have a lot of options. Another A+ install and service there. These guys take care of their customer. Appreciate them & highly recommend.

If you have a car you care about that is more than simply transportation this is the shop to take it to. These are car guys who based on my observation took their passion and wrapped a well run business around it. The shop is neat, organized and clean. There are high dollar cars everywhere which speaks to the trust these guys have earned in the area from people who know are are passionate about their cars.They addressed several items on my 2001 Lingenfelter Corvette (wheels, calipers, rebuilt instrument panel, TPMS, etc.) and I plan to take it back for a trip to their dyno for a custom tune and some chassis upgrades. Work completed was very well done at a reasonable price. They kept me up to date on the status of my upgrades/repairs and even washed the car before I picked it up. Could not provide a stronger recommendation for this shop. Andrew did a great job of fabricating my exhaust for my 2015 Mustang GT! Fantastic customer service. The welds on my exhaust were perfect!

RM is the place to go for sure. I brought my 99 Miata in for a master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch line replacement and to have the soft top drains cleaned out. They got all of it done quickly and with no hiccups. 10/10 would recommend.

Very easy to work with and responsive. Its hard to find good help, but Roddy & Co are exactly that. The owner is a true car enthusiast and track junkie who has been wrenching in the area for years.

Didnt get my rotors turned exactly to what I wanted but they had reasons and liabilities issues to think about so I understand the reason they couldnt take off that much material, but great guys and willing to make things right no matter what.

By far the worst decision I’ve made taking my car here. I paid 2.5k to have the transmission replaced in my 2006 325i BMW. After they ordered the wrong transmission (most likely from a junk yard like pull-a-part) they assured me it would be done in the same time frame. I later realized that was because they didn’t replace my transmission, but instead attempted to fix it, and lied and said they replaced it. After having it checked out by a another shop, they laughed within seconds of looking under the car. The bolts were re-used, leaking fluid in 2 different places. It wasn’t until after I proved with multiple pieces of documentation that they offered a partial refund. I also find it funny the oxygen sensor they just replaced, it also now gone bad, 2 months after they “replaced it”. If you like your car, stay as far away from this place as possible.

Avoid at all cost. Car came back in worse condition than it went in. Upsell repeatedly, ask to see old parts tech removed by cutting. Can not diagnose proper wear on a spark plug. Does not notate invoices properly. If you are looking for a trust worthy shop this is not it.I dont normally follow up on a review once I leave it I consider it closed. I just got my car back from a second shop. Here is what the second shop found. Spark plugs look good with normal wear. What they did find was loose fuel injector wiring from a poor previous reinstall. A new valve cover gasket that was leaking oil in the rear, from a poor install. I have no doubt in my mind that had the car gone back to RM that it would still be leaking oil and I would be $200 poorer for an unnecessary set of spark plugs. The documented facts of the matter are as follows either an unnecessary upsell, or a technician that doesnt know how to read a set of spark plugs, that did a very poor job on a valve cover gasket install. Hopefully technet pays on the warranty ( they will once the paperwork is straightened out).

I bought a 2011 328i (100K) miles BMW Car from Wheels Auto and after 3 weeks of driving, any time my car hit a bump it could completely shut off. All electrical power would stop and would not run. Took it to Grayson Auto in Knoxville and for a Car worth about 10 grand said that after they ran the diagnostics my bill was no kidding $12,000 to fix everything. Said my DME was broke, both cadalydic converters were shot, multiple items. I went back to the dealer who sold me the car and he recommended me taking it to RM Motor Works and ask for Roddy. At this point I was very mad bc I just bought a car that after 3 weeks doesnt drive and I have no idea how to proceed. Roddy is very busy but once he diagnosed the main issue (was screw missing from my terminal bracket from my battery and my positive battery cable was frayed and hangin on by a thread) this made total sense bc my car drove fine until I hit a bump or ran over a speed bump. Roddy fixed this issue and now my car is back on the road. Grayson BMW didnt even check the battery they just tried to make my used car brand new and assume I was a fool. I will be getting my BMW serviced with Roddy only as he has show to be trust worthy.

My Range Rover Sport was towed from Cookeville to Roddy after it had overheated. I was told it was a blown head gasket from two trust mechanics, but they could not repair due to lack of proper tools. Having dealt with Roddy in the past, I contacted him and had the vehicle towed to him. Upon arriving, it took several days for him to diagnose the problem. He kept insisting I change the water pump and several other parts, that I changed. I told him Ive already replaced the parts and he keeps telling me they look old. I would know, I REPLACED THEM MYSELF IN MY OWN GARAGE. So he finds several leaks and kept insisting on replacing other misc parts, to which I say ok. However it takes Roddy over a month to repair this. I called to get an update, but no one ever answers the phone. Whenever I do get a hold of him, he says hes waiting on parts. After waiting a few weeks of being told wrong parts came in or parts still havent come, I call Steve Honeycutt, parts manager at Land Rover of Knoxville, and he stated that the part was delivered a few days prior. Finally the vehicle is completed, I asked Roddy do a test drive, put some miles on it and I would reimburse him for gas if needed to make sure it didnt have problems. He stated he did. We come and get the vehicle, and the minute we leave the car goes into Restricted Performance Mode. With my mother and brother stranded, I call Roddy. Of course, he doesnt pick up. No surprise. I get home and check the car out and its blowing white smoke and idling rougher than a riding lawn mower with water in the fuel. I call Roddy (Friday, Sept 29th) and he keeps insisting he drove the car and data logged everything. Okay, well my check engine light is still on and the car was in restricted performance mode. He kept insisting he stands behind his work and told me he could come pick up my car from my house, but itd be Wednesday (Oct 4th) before he could get to it. So I contact him the day before to confirm and I get excuses and he insists I get the car to him myself after he told me he would do it. We had another vehicle in his shop for spark plugs and injectors and we provided the parts. He kept insisting that we let him order the parts but we refused. He calls us and tells us the parts were incorrect and the vehicle was misfiring. Upset, we had the vehicle removed and towed to European Auto Garage. They installed the same provided parts with no issues and the vehicle ran great after! This shop does very shoddy work. Overall, lousy experience with RM Motor Werks. Never picks up the phone or communicates with customer. On top of that, Roddy is very stubborn and not very understanding of customers situations. Performs services NOT requested on the vehicle and tries to sell parts. and obviously does not stand behind their word/work. I will never be using this shop again. Several other colleagues have moved on from this shop for the same reason. Go to Eurotech and see Rick Barry for all your needs!
