Enjoy your retirement Mr. Hensley - you were always a fair, christian, honest individual that valued service and integrity. Prices have gone up 50% and its no longer the value of the low-overhead shop. Not competing with any other alignment shop anymore, in fact its in line with the high dollar ones now. I always knew Mr. Hensley wouldnt recommend something I didnt need, which always kept me as a customer. Ill have to determine if its worth it to travel over there when I can get the same-priced service at just about anywhere - it’s now $77.87 for an alignment which is actually more that 50% higher than it used to be. Not up to me to determine pricing but I can make that relative comparison in what i paid very easily. Sad day but great for Mike and wish him the best.

Just about every time I go and purchase a used car the front lining or the rear lining is messed up I have been going to Petes alignment over 20 years and the best man in the whole wide world he retired after 29 years but that I guess still is a good place I got to be there in the morning at 8:30 a.m. I will let everybody know how the new folks are doing and they told me if Ill be there in the morning at 8:30 that they will work me in cool I will Ill let you know

Absolutely terrible. I got frame work done. The damage was severe, but was told they could do it. I was not expecting perfect because it’s hard to get a car back into shape after extensive damage. Nonetheless, they did a terrible job. They did not even finish the job because it seemed like they were done dealing with me. They were happy to have me gone and take my money. SHAME ON THEM. They were about to let me drive the car off the lot with no antifreeze in the car. Thank goodness I am a bit competent in basic car operations. Two hoses were also not clipped on, but did not realize until I got home. It honestly seemed like they had no idea about cars...I definitely would not recommend taking your car to them.

Petes is the best alignment service in the area by far. Pete is retiring and has found a new owner that seems just as committed to qualify and service as he was.

Friendly.Honest.I acquired about replacing brakes while I got my alignment done. Since it was an older model used vehicle I assumed they also needed to be fixed or replaced.I received a very polite call stating they were fine and an alignment was all it needed.No wonder they were highly recommended .

This shop is very professional and gets the work done in a reasonable amount of time. Its important to deal with a shop you can trust and Petes fills the bill. Thanks for great service. That being said they are probably not the cheapest in town but you know the old saying you get what you pay for.

I was recommended to take my car there by a coworker, and I am very glad I did. I took my car to get my brakes changed. After further inspection, they recommended we make an additional repair and asked to show me up close before we decided what to do. I felt no pressure and was glad they pointed it out to me. Mike and his crew were very kind and helpful and I had a great experience!

Took my Hyundai Elantra to them a few weeks ago due to a bent frame and they had it in the shop for about 6 days. I told them that I rely on my car to do work since I am a delivery driver and they simply acted like they didn’t care. They didn’t even call me when the job was done. I had to call up there and one of the staff told me that it was ready to pick up. WHEN I CALLED. That’s not even the worst part. When they were putting the engine/oil pan back on under my car, they secured it with zip ties! Seriously?? I figured that out this morning when I went to drive off and the thing was dragging the ground. Plus, a small pothole messed up my alignment again. I can’t believe this place was recommended by somebody, or that they have been in business this long, but I won’t return.

Let me start out by saying that Mike and his techs really know their stuff. I was told that my truck needed a new frame from an impact with a curb, but luckily I sought out a second opinion with Pete’s alignment, and these fellas fixed it perfectly for a fraction of the cost of a frame replacement.They worked with me from point A to B, and when I thought it was still having alignment issues they let me bring it in and took another look at it (just had a sticky front brake making it pull to the right slightly).Did a great job, very nice to work with, and happy to help. Old school shop with none of the frills, I Will be bringing my vehicles here from now on.

We DO NOT remove oil pans to straighten frames.We do not know why you wrote that in a review, but if you had problems with any work we did at our business, you could have called & let us take care of it for you.I suggest you figure out who you took it to that removed & replaced your oil pan, & deal with them.

Took my truck in about two months ago and explained to Mike the history of the truck and issues that I had been having.I made sure to write everything down since Ive a chronic illness that sometimes makes it difficult to communicate properly, which was quite helpful the following day when Mike was able to fit me in the schedule.The inspection/alignment revealed some toe out adjustment and need for new tires.The following week I had new tires put on and have been very satisfied with the results. Especially for a near 20 yr old vehicle with 250k miles plus.I thought for sure Id be needing to replace ball joints and tie rod ends, but Mikes crew member assured me that all those parts checked out to be in good condition.My only beef is with the potholes that mustve beat my old tires and wheels in bad shape to cause the kind of issues I was having.Mike, if youre reading this, thank you!Its a joy to have local businesses like yours around who care.

Stopped in yesterday as I was passing through Knoxville with a new-to-me 2000 Excursion that was shimmying and wandering. Mike (the owner) told me that all the mechanics seemed fine, Maybe the balljoint is a little stiff and could be replaced soon; as it is, there is no danger, and this is not causing any problem. He gave me an education on the front end. Finally, he suggested it was the tires and sent me to the tire place down get road. Having poked and prodded for about an hour (along with his son), he charged me just $35. He could have told me it needed a whole lot more...; but, he didnt. Im grateful for knowledgeable and honest mechanics.

Petes came by recommendation of a tire shop owner. He has his personal vehicles aligned there even though his shop also does alignments. His personnel gave me a free alignment check and said they could do it for $xxx, but the vehicle might also need rear alignment. Petes was recommended at that point because the tire shop could not do the rear. Petes did the work for less than the tire shop quote and also came in under the ballpark estimate I had asked for over the phone when setting up the appointment. 1998 Maxima alignment, great job, affordable, fast. 5 Stars if they had a better waiting area.

Ive have brought a 93 f150 and an 01 Solara to them for alignment and they are very courteous and quick. Also their pricing is very reasonable.

A while back the rear end of my car got pretty far out of alignment and was very rapidly eating at my tire, I didnt have much money at the time, but i had to bite the bullet and get the alignment.I called around and found that Petes alignment does/did just a rear alignment. Seeing as how I was operating on limited funds I opted for that. So I call and ask how much it was going to be to make sure I had enough it was around $70-80. I barely had it but I had no choice. So I take it down there and dropped it off. He said it would be around and hour and a half. But an hour later he calls and says that the reason my alignment got so bad was a nut had vibrated off. I informed him Id go get one immediately, he said nah i got one around the shop here I can put on it. I asked if he was sure, I didnt mind going to get one. He reassured me that it was fine. So I said OK call me when your done. hours go by Im waiting and waiting just when Im about to call to see what going on he called and says its ready... $189.xx. I was confused. I said all I wanted was the rear alignment for $79.99 he said yeah thats what I did but it took me 4 HOURS to find that nut for you. ” I was shocked I mentioned that I already told him I would have gotten one. He said well I gave you a discount on labor . I Had to beg, bum, and borrow just to get the rest of the money. NEVER WOULD I EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE EEVVVEEERRR. Nor would I ever recommend this terrible business.

Im a hateful negative old man. I can find something wrong with anything. I like these guys theyve always done me right. I have used them over and over never had one problem with Petes alignment. You can believe that. Mike the owner is a straight up guy.

When I first met Mike Henson, I found him to be professional. I brought my Ford van to have the bumper frame straighten and a new bumper. I also asked for a left turn signal light to be installed. I had all the parts except for some Mike later said he would get.some bolts and a bumper plate. A week later, I got no call as Mike said he would do when the work was done. I called going into the second week and was told he hadnt started yet. The third week went by and no call from Mike.Going into a second month I went by and was told no work was started yet. I went by with cash money in my hand thinking there was a money problem. He said no money needed at that time. Almost going in to a third month he called and said the van was ready. I was very unhappy with the work. I feel violated.
