I have been doing business with City Diesel for the past 20 sum years they are definitely dependable and what I do not know they do that is a plus when you work on all types of equipment and I will put it this way if City Diesel cant fix it nobody can

I was quoted almost 1500.00 at the dealer for a repair on my truck So a friend told me to call Kelly and Im beyond thankful I did because what the dealer told me needed fixed was not even the problem!!! Kelly had my truck fixed in 1 day and only charged me $300!!!!! These guys are awesome and will definitely have all my buisness from now on!!!

Came through the mountains at about 630 am and instantly had no turbo. We were able to keep going until we found City Diesel (no engine lights, no excess smoke). Right away we felt the southern hospitality. Luckily it was just a plug that came uncapped. They could have easily made up something to get more money out of us (we HAD to have it repaired, we were heading to Bristol from Wisconsin), but they got it done quick. We got back on the road in about an hour and have not had a problem since!

Will NEVER use them again! Very rude and charged me for work I did not agree to, they charged way to much and threatened to keep my truck if I did not pay them the absurd amount that they wanted. Do not recommend them and will never be using them in the future

I had recently changed the optical sensor in my pick-up due to a problem I was having with it being put in derate. After I changed it the truck had no power like it use to. I brought the truck to them and told them the story and my concern that I may not have timed it properly and didnt have the time to repair but needed my truck. Long story short I let them take a look at it only for them to call and tell me that everything was good and that it was running fine. I went to pick the truck up and I knew once I started it, it was still under powered, hard starting, and hard shifting. Out of frustration I left and said nothing and brought the truck to my work. I plugged it up to my scan tool and my assumption was correct. Injection pump was out of time by 15°. Re-timmed the pump and the truck fired right up and I had all my power back and have been running it no problem for about 2 weeks. After being charged a few bucks shy of $400 and the only things they did was put in a one way check valve in my fuel line and adjust my waist gate on the turbo and not fixing the problem after I told them exactly where it was, I will not be using them again. The staff is friendly but they did not fix the problem so my money went down the drain.

Excellent Service! I took a 1977 FJ40 with a 10.2 liter GM Diesel motor. Other Shops wouldnt even look at the vehicle. They had it running good as new in two weeks.I highly recommend City Diesel in Knoxville, Tennessee for any Diesel repair.

Didn’t make it past the phone when I called about head studs and head gaskets for my truck and was refused for even a quote. They didn’t want my business then and they certainly won’t get my business in the future
