Brian, the tech. did a very good job in repairing the dishwasher. Problem was a malfunctioning door latch. I appreciated Brian very much. However, your scheduling group and system has a lot to be desired. Your online scheduling system allows you to schedule to a date which is not available in your area, however online it will confirm the date. Than a day later, Id get a call telling me that date is not available and schedule me out further than the original schedule date. This happened 3 or 4 times. So I finally gave up and took the longer dated date which was over a month from the time I requested.
Repair man was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. Could not ask for better service.

Sears cancelled at the last minute on the first scheduled visit as they took too long at the last place they were at. They rescheduled for two weeks later and did a great job, however, very expensive. Plastic water line to the fridge cracked (part less than $5 but a near $400 repair in less than 30 minutes. Quality 5 star, price 1 star.
If there were zero Stars as an option I would have chosen that. Its impossible to get in touch with them even when they pester you with emails that say you must call today. The promise of replacing an appliance was never followed up on. Steer clear and use your money to support local repair services!
My riding lawnmower is 18 years old and I plan to be using it for many more years. My last one was in use by my dad and myself for 30 years! Frank is my service technician and he is awesome. Sears has been a great partner in keeping my appliances and mower in great working order. Love craftsman products and the service team!
They placed a bracket on my dryer backwards. my dryer started making noises and someone else come out and they found the brake and fixed it. cost me 60 dollars for Sears repairman mistake.
Horrible experience. I had scheduled the yearly maintenance visit for my 2 year old washer. At that time they offered me a checkup on my dryer for a small fee. I was having no problems whatsoever with the dryer but thought how nice and it couldnt hurt. When they left after tearing it apart, running diagonostics on it and cleaning it said it looked good and went on their way. After they left my alarm/signal no longer works, the wrinkle guard doesnt work and the air only that has settings for 10, 20, 30 only works if you set it to 30 and then runs for less than 10 minutes. I have called them and tried to get them to come out and look at it and they want to charge me $79+ to look at it. I explained there wasnt anything wrong with it before they took it apart and feel that is wrong. One person I spoke to was nice and said there would be no charge. The tech calls to say he is on his way, he calls back 15 minutes later and tell us there is an $80+ charge. I called Sears back and they say that is correct. I explain I spoke to someone 15 hours earlier who was very nice and told me there wouldnt be a charge. The man was very rude and tells me I am out of luck. I
I appreciate the thoroughness of the repairman; however, the ice cream is not staying as firm as it did. He was very thorough on the washer and dryer.I had asked for my stove to be inspected when I called but it was not on his work order.
3* based on taking 3 weeks to get an appointment for a 2 year old refrigerator repair under warranty. If I pay $2,500 for a unit and it fails in 2 years I shouldnt have to wait 3 weeks for repair.
We have a 4 year old Kenmore/LG refrigerator. The technician arrived 3 weeks ago stating he did not know what he was coming to work on, even though he replaced the main control board last September. Not knowing what he was coming to work one gave him the excuse that he did not have the right compressor on his truck. About 10 days later, he arrived to install the compressor that was shipped to us. Meanwhile we are living out of coolers with about $40 of ice. Now we are waiting on him to return and fix another cooling issue, The refrigerator is at 42 deg and the freezer is at 20 deg. It is set for 33 and 0 deg. It will be another week before we see him.
I understand the $99 fee to come out and diagnose the problem but when it was a simple fix that didnt require a new part and literally took 2 minutes to fix I was blown away that I was charged another $140 on top of it. To make matters worse, the technician (which was very nice and professional) didnt let me know in advance what the cost would be.If I have an issue with this appliance after the 90 day warranty, I will go through other avenues to get it fixed.
The technician, Frank, ID #263947, was fantastic! He did not mind my watching and he explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He answered all my questions thoroughly. This showed me he knew what he was doing and why he was doing it.
Our dryer was not drying the clothes, only tumbling. Repair was done quickly and efficiently and with great results. The technician was so professional with us and we are very happy to have our dryer back! Thank you so much!

The technician did a through check out of our dryer, and serviced our washer that was on a maintenance contract at the same time. By doing this it reduced the cost of the service call on the dryer. Sears always seems to have knowledgeable technicians and they go the extra mile to give me tips to improve my units performance.
Careful diagnosis. Technician ordered the part, set the install appointment, showed up at the appointed time, courteous, and professional. Everything covered under my warranty protection plan. Super happy customer!
Had a good experience once I was able to get them to my home. They need more repairmen on the road so that wait times are greatly reduced. We were without a frig for 3 weeks. Repair work once done was fine.
The repair man was great. He was on time, clean and efficient. The lady that set the appointment lied to me. She told me that the repairman would have a coupon for $100.00 good for a purchase at the store if my treadmill was not able to be repaired. This was an absolute lie, he didnt have a coupon, and when I called all that they would do is offer a 10% off coupon on an in store purchase. I suppose that the folks get a bonus for setting appointments so they just tell people whatever they want to hear. I wont us this repair service again.
I do believe my dishwasher is repaired.finally. my only complaint is the fact that the repairman left the old motor in the box in the middle of my kitchen floor.Not very professional. The gentleman himself was polite other wide.
The repair man himself did a wonderful job. But for one of the repairs, the wrong part was sent.
This was the third service call for the same issue, and it is STILL not fixed. We have a 4th service set up for next week.
Very professional and knowledgeable. Have had appliance warranties with Sears for many years and it has kept many of the appliances out of the landfill because had I not had the warranty, in some cases, it would not have been beneficial to repair the item.
Sears continues to come out for the same issue on a LEMON dishwasher and cant fix it. There is a different tech each time, despite promises from Sears to send a Senior Tech since they cant find out what is wrong. They all do the same thing, even suggesting it is my hose, my door latch, etc. This particular unit is built by Whirlpool. Stay far away from Sears and Whirlpool products.
I was very disappointed and dissatisfied!!! The technician did not repair our refrigerator and when I call the following day was told no one would be able to come back until 8 days later. I feel like the technician took our money and the company did not care. I called customer service and because of the language barrier I don’t think my frustration was noticed,

Fridge works but my only concern was that the technician did not test it before he left. I had to wait a month for them to come back and repair it, if it had not worked after the repair I may have had to wait another month to get them back to check it.
Whirlpool side by side refrigerator not cooling and water dispenser not working. Paid over $400 for repair. Technician could not fix the water dispenser because he could not get the trim off. The cooling quit working 4 hours after the tech left. Nothing was repaired. We could not get a repair person to come back for another week. Summary: we paid over $400 for nothing and we have not had a refrigerator for over a month now. Very poor service! After you pay to have something fixed and it does not work 24 hours they should return immediately to do it right.
I am so unsastified with the work that was done on my samsung washer. I called someone to help change a door gasket.After the initial *service check,*, they ordered the part and were going to come back the next week. I got a text notification the day of my appointment moving it another week (with no explanation). The part was shipped directly to my house,so parts wasnt the reason. Finally 2 weeks later someone has come to change the gasket. That was literally the only thing that was done, and my husband and I have to re-do it anyways because this person didnt even wipe down the inside of the door before sealing it with the gasket (trapped the mold/mildew from the last one underneath the new gasket). Pure laziness.

Scheduled a normal maintenance check on fridge also explained that the coolant was out on fridge am that these parts are no longer made for this refrigerator. We also explained that there is no water coming out of the front of the fridge.. Also recieved a call from the technician the day of service stating that they normally do not come out just to perform a maintenance check on products he was very rude. Told technician that its funny that we have had 4 other technicians who have came out earlier this week for maintenance on other productsWas told by the sears repair phone number that if the parts could not be replaced on current fridge that the tech could put in a service ticket in order for us to receive a voucher to put down on a new fridge since the parts could not be ordered for the one I have. Technician said he was unable to provide us a voucher and ironically enough his printer would not work to give me a receipt that he was out here and that is also the way to go in and complete a survey for his service. I very dissatisfied with this technician.On another note the ones who came out to service the washer dryer and the water heater were all very nice and knowledgeable

This repair took over 6 weeks even though my product is under Master service agreement. Just about everything in refrigerator has been replaced. Its the Kenmore Pro but it was VERY frustrating to get it finally working. However, the last item replaced still does not work and the repair person said it probably cant be. Its the temperature display on outside of door. So I have to keep a gauge inside to make sure still cooling. SEARS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES FOR SERVICE AFTER THE SALE. My last repair man did seem to care but was really constrained by there system.
Service tech was very nice but unfortunately replacing struts on my LG Waveforce did not resolve the unbalanced load problem. LG repairman found loose bolts causing problem.

Reuben was very Good, but your scheduling was horrendous. We lived out of an ice chest for over a week. If you cant give same-day or next-day service with the people you have, then hire more.
The repair technician diagnosed my Kenmore Elite Fridge for repairs of more than $ 800 claiming the main pc board as well as a whole panel inside the fridge of which the fan is part need to be replaced. The fridge is just out of factory warranty. I looked at the fan myself, found out it was catching inside because of poor design, shaved some material away with my dremel and it is working now. No problem with the pc board and no replacement of that panel needed. Make of this what you will, but i will not be using their service if I can avoid it.
The technician was at our home for only 15 minutes. He checked the temperature in the refrigerator, felt of the gasket on the door, looked at the ice maker, and poured a glass of water from the water dispenser. He also cleaned lint from under the refrigerator. He did not check the compressor or any other working part of the refrigerator.
Feeling ripped off . Made an appt. to have tech clean machine due to mold odor told me to run a cycle with a washing machine cleaning product which I already had I said. Or 350$ for them to clean it. So I just paid 86$ for someone to tell me to clean my machine my self.And he had had the nerve to get a tone with me to boot. Horrible, thought I could trust Sears :-(
Repair service was adequate. The problem was fixed but at an exorbinate cost. Wont be doing business with Sears again.
Pathetic. Charged over three hundred dollars and made us wait all day for a repair on crappy refrigerator they sold us that took five minutes and only made the problem worse. When we complained, said they wouldnt be back for three days and that we had to stay home waiting on them from 8-5 even though they screwed up. Customer service totally unhelpful. Never do business with Sears for any reason. They deserve to go under.
I paid $119.00 TWICE ( I know it was probably a network transmission issue, the repairman was nice enough ) just for him to come out, read from a .PDF file on what to check, and then tell me I needed to call a Samsung certified tech to come out. Whats the point? If I needed a Samsung certified tech, why didnt they tell me that instead of costing me $119.00?!?!?! RIP OFF!!!! Thanks Sears, for dropping to a 40 year low in my experience!

My repair experience was horrible. The technician had no idea what he was even at my home to repair. He had to contact the previous technician that had diagnosed the issue. He installed the parts and left without even repairing my refrigerator. Sears is ridiculous and I will never purchase from them again.
