I am modifying my previous review to give the company an opportunity to finish the job and re-evaluate.

I have been with Compass for years. Gary, Phyllis, and Becky are just fantastic. There was a problem at one of my rental houses and they came out the next day and acquired the needed parts and repaired it the following day - at no cost to me because I had purchased the unit from them a few years ago and it was still under warranty. How could you ask for more? Thanks, guys!

I called Compass for a quote for a new AC unit and the price was perfect, Lead tech Chase did the install new air conditioning as well as a duct cleaning in Knoxville and we couldnt be happier. The new Air Conditioner works great, its quiet and efficient. Highly recommend Compass Heating and Air.

My family and myself, have always used Jim Dalton, at Compass Heating and Air!! Jim is a Class Act, as his family is. I have known Jim most of my life!! He is easy for me to contact when there is a problem and he is out to fix the problem in more than a timely manner!! I know he is very busy and makes the time to take care of me and other members of my family!! I will ALWAYS use Jim Dalton and recommend him to anyone!! Example; My heat went out Sunday night. I did everything I knew to do to see if it would come back on. It never come back on. So, I just called and Jim told me he would be here tomorrow. I told him just come when he can. I know he has many other customers to take care of. I really appreciate Jim and Compass Heating and Air very much!!!! I will always use Jim!!!! Buddy, you are not allowed to retire!!!!! LOL!!

I bought my house a year ago and was sold a home warranty. The HVAC unit started having issues right away. The Warranty Company sent Techs out at least 10 different times and from at least 4 different companies and no one could fix the unit. I finally gave up on the home warranty and called Compass Heating and Air. They came out right away found the problem, the unit needed to be replaced. This was 4 days before Christmas, Willie and his team came out and replaced the unit on DEC. 23rd so I would have heat for Christmas. I cannot thank or recommend this company enough for all their help and kindness.

We have used Compass since 1995 both for our own home and for our rental properties. They are prompt and professional. Their technicians are great at troubleshooting problems. Their work has always been entirely satisfactory. In short we are very happy with their service.

Chuck and the guys were great. My AC went out and I ordered a new unit. They showed up and on time and the new evaporator coil and condenser was installed under 3 hours. Great guys, great service. Will use Compass in the future!

The best company to set you up with a new heat and air system, great service after the sale, and very good people to deal with . I recommend them highly.

One of the worst contractor/installation experiences we have ever had! In July/August 2016 they sent a totally inexperienced crew that botched the initial installation (after 12 hours of work), they sent a follow up crew to fix the 1st crews mistakes, in another all-day marathon. At the end of that debacle, we were left with a hacked and spliced together install that did actually cool our upstairs, but they failed to hook up the heat functions because we wouldnt need them for a while. They did send a crew later in the year to connect the heat functions. We asked them to please send someone experienced to clean up the initial installation (which included an inappropriately large hole in the outside of our house....more on that in a moment). The more experienced technician did a little clean up on the hack-job of an installation, but still left it pretty spliced and unprofessionally pieced together. Oh, and a few months later we found out about the hole in the house, after some mice got into our attic, via the conduit and hole in their install. Two years and nearly $10k later and we have a poorly performing unit that does not keep the upstairs very cool...Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE this company!

Gary and his crew are very professional. We have used them several times for installations and service. Would highly recommend!
