Was super scared to use this place because I came to Modern Nails before the ownership change and their service was so good I thought it would be hard to top that... AMAZING! Owners come around and make sure you’re okay, the nail techs do their best to make sure you’re accommodated, and the pedicure lasts forever (I was so busy I didn’t have time to go back, my gel pedi lasted 2 months)

First time visiting this nail spa. They did a great job with my dip powder and Pedicure.

This place is AWESOME! Tammy and all of the technicians are wonderful at what they do. I’ve been their costumer for over a year and not once have I had a bad experience. Their work is top-notch quality. The environment is clean, welcoming, and friendly.

I can not put into words how IN LOVE I am with my nails. Tammy was amazing!!! I called the day before and made a last minute appointment for the next evening in order to have my nails ready for a work event. The nails shop was very nice and clean, all Covid Guidelines are being followed and Tammy did a beautiful job on my nails. Absolutely love them!!!

I have been going to Fiona since June of 2019 and she is amazing! Ive gone to SEVERAL salons and I have never been able to find my salon home...until Fiona! I dont see myself going elsewhere anytime soon, or ever. Only way Im leaving her is if I move out of Florida lol. Here is some of her work!

I received a gel fill-in and polish change here. I chose to get white polish on my nails and toes. This was thee WORST experience I have EVER had in a nail shop. I have never reviewed a nail shop before. The quality of their work is worse than a child could do. Do NOT go to this shop if you dont want to be disappointed.

Well somehow my previous review disappeared on here.. just like on Yelp. But long story short, she (the owner) got upset that we were backing out in a parking lot and had to wait, got extremely close to our car. So as we pulled forward, she went in the other side going about 30mph in a parking lot, just to pull in front of us. Went to the salon, (to give a 2nd chance) super unhappy with the nails. And she (the owner) seemed like she didn’t even want to be there. Very awkward experience.

Got a pedicure my nails are uneven the paint job is horrible! They look lumpy way to thick. Didn’t remove ingrown nails. Only good part was the massage.

This is a hidden 💎. I am always skeptical of going to new places f service. I just moved to the area and am a firm believer of customer service. I walk in and i am met with some side eye, but i am used to that .... I am black. Which is horrible to even be able to say that but it’s true. I wave and speak to every one. I have to shake the stereotypical behavior of others. Anyway my technician was Sue. She took her time with me and was very accommodating and gentle. Sue took very good care of me. I absolutely Hate being rushed. I feel like the job is not well done if it’s rushed. The whole staff ended up being great. I will be returning. I will only like to see Sue. Excellent service in this place! Kudos

This place is amazing. I’m very, very picky about my nails but the young woman who did mine did an amazing job. She helped me pick out a color as close to what I was looking for as she could. She was super friendly the whole time and very gentle. I’m more than pleased

I recently moved to the area and after going to 3 different salons and having terrible experiences, I finally decided to drive a little further from my house and try Modern Nails. Im so happy I did! I had them soak off my acrylic which they did patiently and carefully (Ive been to salons that just want to rip the acrylic off) and the technician did a great job on my SNS. Great experience and Ill definitely be coming back!

Okay I love love this place. They are young and fun!! The environment is so laid back and chill. The husband and wife are the most adorable couple ever!!!! Lin Lin does a amazing job with nails. They alll do amazing jobs. This is rare!!! I will not go any where else ever!!!!!

Had been having horrible luck with nail salons but when I went to Modern Nails they were really nice and helpful. Understood what I wanted and I left a happy customer. Definitely gonna make this my new nail place!

I went there not expecting much because i had called and realized that they were so cheap but they blew me away! Their prices, quality and service was all amazing and i will definitely be going back there! I paid $30 here where I wouldve paid $50 somewhere else!

This nail salon is lucky that it gets a star. So I went in today having an appointment at 10:30, I couldn’t find the place and was 11 minutes late not even 15 minutes. when I went in the owner or whoever she is told me that I had to wait about 30 minutes because I walk in had gotten there first .. first of all you don’t do that I had an appointment and you could’ve waited at least 15 minutes like other places or told me this when I first called I wouldn’t have wasted my time here . Aside of that the owner was just getting ready when I got there, she could’ve told the other customer to wait because I had an appointment . Bad customer service right there will never go here again. By the way I found another nail salon not that far away from there and they did I great job and I was a walk in 🙃

Was recommended to Viet by my friend who travels a distance to have her nails done because of his exceptional work. Viet is phenomenal at what he does. He conforms to the need of the customer and what suits them best without trying to make an extra buck. He takes his time to make sure that you are completely satisfied. I will not deny, at times I have to wait but his skills are truly worth my time and I have been happy every time. Relaxed and family oriented environment.

I have never found someone who can keep up with my hands the way Viet does and I have been around . I drive 40 minutes to them when there is a nail salon on every corner. It was rough. There seemed nice enough. I went in for a manicure and pedicure for myself and my 5 yr old. I also wanted an regular acrylic full set for me. I asked if the the child services were discounted. They told me yes. They also didnt ask me if they could do a design on her nails nor did they quote a price for it. We went to the chairs for our pedicures. They did the pedicures and started my daughters manicure. They never gave me one. They started to paint 4 dots on to my daughters nails and when I asked the price the woman kept repeating happy new year. The ladies then ushered me to a different table and asked if I wanted to do pink and white. I told her I wanted acrylic nails and hadnt had them before. She said ok and began. The nails didnt look or feel right on me but I chalked it up to never having them before. At the end I was charged $100 for the ordeal. They put on the most expensive pink and white set, charged for the manicure I never got, they charged full price for my daughters services and the design. When I tried to dispute the price the two woman told the owner in a language I didnt understand essentially that I agreed to it all. NEVER GOING BACK!!!

I’ve been a customer for almost 5 years now. Always do with Linda. But the last two times (yesterday and a 3 weeks ago) I was there, her son have been rude. I feel sad but no going back again to that place cause that guy make me feel bad with he’s bad actitude. You are losing a loyal customer for about 5 years.

I live 45 minutes away and I drive all of the way from Oviedo because it’s absolutely worth it. Viet and Fiona are extremely talented and friendly. The designs they do are unique and quality work. My expectations are always exceeded and I would highly recommend them!

Nice staff and they do all sort of nice arrangements for the ladies. Men, they can do a pedi with a massage.

I am an indecisive person so not too many nail techs can deal with me. After having “ok” or similar experiences at many other nail salons I came across Modern Nails while my husband was getting a haircut nearby. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Viet & Fiona are awesome! They know and address all their clients by name and it was the first nail salon I’ve ever been to where Fiona, Viet, Viet’s client, myself, and even someone in the waiting area were all talking! Amazing people, amazing atmosphere, and their services are awesome. People were coming in with a full set still perfectly in tact after 1.5 months. So excited I found my new salon.

Asked to wait 5-10 mins... 45 mins and got skipped three times I walked out. If you have appointments when a walk in comes in, you should let them know that and be honest about wait times!

Quite honestly they cant be beat.. other salons can do nice work...but cant do everything that they can. I have tried just about every nail salon in the area over the years and have been disappointed one time or another...I have NEVER been disappointed with them.They currently have the one location in Kissimmee and will soon have a second (this October) in Oviedo. If you are looking for a salon that can do all the beautiful designs you see on Pinterest or Instagram.. and offer a never dull appointment, THIS is your place!Give them a call to make an appointment..you wont be disappointed. I (black female) went there to have my nail fixed and polish change on my hands and feet I waited 25 min.a lot of customers walked in nail tech up front directed six white woman to the other techs they started on there feet then nail tech up front waved me on she stated she would charge me 15 dollars for a polish change and fixed nail no fill in mind you fill ins $12.00 she was very rude unfriendly very rushy I felt very uncomfortable then at the end of service she charged me $25.00 wow just for polish change and a broke nail I dont think she like black people only black in there never again bad experience nail shop from hell!!!!!!!

Horrible costumer service. Went in and was told there was a 15-20 min wait and I ended up waiting over an hour. They took care of the people that got there after me and my nails were still not done.
