This was my first time using this company. My A/C shut off at 8pm on a Saturday night, due to a clogged drain line. Miguel was out within two hours and had it unclogged and A/C up and running. He was courteous, professional, and kept me updated with his ETA. He charged a reasonable price, and made everything as smooth as possible. Thanks Miguel! Because of my great experience with Miguel, I will definitely be using this company for any future issues. 5 stars for sure!!

I started having trouble with my AC a few weeks ago. It wasnt cooling as well as it should. Initial fix provided relief for a some time, but not much later the AC was demonstrating the same problem. All signs indicated a refrigerant leak. Where exactly wasnt confirmed, but probably for good reason as I was told that repairs for something like that could go as high as $3000. Why not just get a new unit? Especially considering the age of mine (12 years).I dont think I could of been more pleased with the whole process. The installation was supposed to take a whole day, but they were done well before COB. Jesus and Miguel, including the office staff, were very polite, courteous and professional. They respected the property and followed CDC guidelines amid the pandemic.I recommend this company.
During the recent cold front our old furnace stopped working. Smith’s AC responded right away and the technician inspected the old unit, explained what was wrong and then reviewed all of the options.With the information, we purchased a new unit because of the age of the older unit and the issues we could face later on if we made the necessary repairs to the old unit.Within the next morning Smith’s A.C. technicians removed the old unit and replaced it with a new unit. I am so glad that we did not make repairs to the old AC unit as it was revealed that the AC coils in the condenser where rusting away and would have started leaking later on. Which would have resulted in an additional costly repair to an old unit.The installation team was very professional, pleasant and did everything that was requested. I would recommend Smith’s A.C. Inc. to anyone who needs AC service.

Smith’s is AMAZING!!! They made a terrible situation “pleasant”. From scheduling an appointment to the follow up after install; everyone was awesome. Our tech, Jesus, was wonderful. He was punctual, meticulous, super kind, and his workmanship was exemplary. The prices were incredibly reasonable and the wait time to get our unit wasn’t too long. In fact, they even patched up our old one while we waited for our new one to come in. This is the air conditioning company you want! So grateful to them!
I had a new a/c unit installed last week. Jesus and Miguel were AWESOME! I had new duct work and all the bells and whistles. Love the service they provided. I loved the personal service from Toby (Owner) and Erica in the office. Just a wonderful experience. May this unit last my lifetime!
I contracted with Smiths AC for a complete new heat pump system (inside and outside units). Brian and Carlos arrived 30 minutes early to get started. They introduced themselves on the way in and began work at 7:30am. They worked nonstop until 4pm that afternoon. To my surprise, they did not take any breaks nor did they even stop for lunch. It has been quite some time since I have observed such focus, intensity and the drive to get a job done.Smiths AC provides even better after the sale service. A minor problem with my new heat pump unit arose the day after installation. I called their office and within 1-1/2 hours tech Felix was at my home. He had the problem solved within 10 minutes!Smiths AC is a great company to do business with. They are a family-owned business, not one of the mega-companies who slaps your new unit in and then disappears. I highly recommend Smiths.
I called the company that installed my ac a few years ago to have it repaired, I was told it would I have to wait 6 days. I told them I would call someone else and was hung up on. I called Smiths air conditioning and Jesus came to my home 3 hours later to fix the ac. He is awesome!! He explained everything and he told about a coupon to save me some money. If I need anymore repairs I will call Smiths air conditioning. Great company and awesome employees
I had an emergency call today on a Saturday and Angel responded and even showed up two hours early which was nice since it was hot. Angel explained what happened and fixed and related it would need a part for my best interest. I hope when they come out to replace the part that Angel is dispatched as he seems very trustworthy which is hard to fine these days. If he is any reflection of their company they are outstanding. I am even thinking of setting up a PM schedule with them.
Miguel and JesusOur central air unit needed attention, Miguel and Jesus came out to fix the problems in a professional and timely manner. Their knowledge of the unit and the attachments that come with it is to the highest standard. I wouldnt trust anyone else to do the job. Thank you again for being patient and explaining everything. Exceptional service and value. We contacted Smiths originally via their website (found them by their #1 Google ranking). We received a call within the hour from a very pleasant lady who scheduled a service call for the following day within a two-hour window. She clearly explained how charges were figured. The serviceman arrived the following day 20 minutes into the start of the window in which he was scheduled. Very polite, professional, and appropriately dressed. He quickly (and accurately) diagnosed the problem. We were expecting to be needing a new compressor, but he told us we just needed a motor and that he could check the freon level after the new motor was installed. The motor had to be ordered, so a second technician came out (again during the two hour window in which he was scheduled) and installed the motor. No new freon needed. Now were cool and not out nearly as much $$$ as we expected to be. What really impressed us was the honesty and politeness of everyone we dealt with and how positively they spoke about their company. This was the kind of class act that we try to put forth in our business and which one, unfortunately, doesnt see frequently any more. We have Smiths number for the next time we need them.P.S. Absolutely LOVED Smiths AC service! Highly recommend. I got home from work at 1 in the morning and found out that the AC unit in my house wasnt shooting out any cold air. Googled AC repair companies and I called about 5 different places and they were charging ridiculous prices and I always had a customer service agent with a rude attitude. I then saw the reviews for Smiths AC and saw that they had a 24 hour number and had a bunch of great reviews. I called them late at night and I had a very nice gentleman pick up the phone and sounded very concerned about my situation with the AC because nobody wants to sleep on a Florida night with no AC. I had Mary Ann Smith call me back at 9 am to schedule a technician to come out to my house. She told me he would arrive between 12pm - 2pm. My technician arrived exactly at 12 pm. I had ANGEL MIRANDA and I have to say he was absolutely amazing. He figured out the problem in less than 5 minutes and the service was done in probably about 20 minutes and it didnt break the bank. I loved the experience and my AC is working perfectly fine. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying Smiths AC out if you ever have a problem. :)
We called to get our air conditioner looked at because it was not blowing cold air. Jesus was able to come out within a couple of hours. He was very friendly, professional and respectful. He was able to tell us that the part that was causing the issue was still under warranty and he replaced it with no problem. Prices were very reasonable. Jesus was able to help us with questions about the warranty, as well. Theyve got a loyal customer : )
Just had them install a new package unit and replace the flex duct to my mobile home. They arrived on time and didn’t waste anytime removing the old unit and ducking. They worked through the whole day without even taking a break. I’m very happy with the service I received and will recommend Smith’s air conditioning to friends and family.

Im caring for a parent who is in his last days/weeks, he likes it warmer than most and complained it was too warm. A/C was not working correctly, called Smiths and it was later in the day, the technician (Jesus) came out a 9 pm and recommend the filter be switched which was totally clogged. Easy fix and worth the night visit cost.
Kinda sucks we paid $368 only for the unit to break again. But they did have excellent service overall. Had someone from the company call and explain to us everything that went down and how things can improve. I’m impressed with the feedback we’ve received from the company. Thanks for everything!

I have been using Smiths Air Conditioning for over a year now and have been highly pleased with their service and the technicians that have come to the house. I am a Gold Club Member and think this is a really good deal. They replaced the duct work underneath my house (which isnt the easiest thing to get under) and did a great job. They are quick to come and courteous. I am very pleased.
Our air conditioning unit is literally on its last legs and we called a few places. Smith’s was the FIRST to respond. Jesus came out and fixed our outdated unit. We were advised we will need a new one very soon but he did not pressure sell us. When the time comes it will be with Smiths. Fast, reliable service indeed! No pressure sales.
One thing really nice about Smiths AC is Margret. Nice to have the same person greet me by phone when I call in. Not sure of the owners name, even though I met him in the install of my new ac unit. Nice guy and know his stuff about air conditioning. I am contemplating adding ac to my pool / game room. I have had a warranty repair done on my new unit - leaking coil - they took care of it quick and at no charge. Felix that came out for the warranty repair was great! This is my second time needing a minor repair on our AC. I called at 11:30 and spoke with Maryann. I told her my dilemma (I had a 5 pm flight that day). She quickly dispatched Tony and by 1:30 my AC was fixed. Tony was pleasant and efficient. He was so easy to work with. I cant rave about this company enough! They are amazing!
Our experience today was another example of the great service we have had over our several years dealing with Smiths. Early this AM we noticed that the air was not working and called them for help. A service man was dispatched and arrived in about an hour, found and fixed the problem quickly. He was very courteous and pleasant.You can depend on Smiths for your Air Conditioning Service too.
Called to have my AC looked at 1230pm. Tony our technician came and within an hour was able to fix the issue. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable. After he resolved the issue, he cleaned up and left my home as it was before he got there. I paid for the service at 1:27pm. So from the time of my initial call to having the problem resolved, was less than an hour.
We have the annual maintenance plan with Smiths and Angel was out this morning to give the unit its semi-annual checkup. I love having that plan, the unit is checked twice a year and if there is a problem we get a discount on the work.Angel did a great job. He thoroughly checked everything inside and out. He is polite and professional. He is a fine example of the expert techs that work for them.I would highly recommend Smiths to anyone who needs HVAC work done.

I check my sisters house every few weeks to make sure her Air Conditioning is working. She and her husband are snowbirds in Minnesota. I went there and discovered it was not working. I called Smiths Air Conditioning and was able to schedule the repairs for almost the next day. Jesus Avlla, the repairman, met me at her house and fixed the problem. I was impressed from the very beginning with making an appointment with the sweet lady who answered the phone. Jesus came when he said he would and was so kind and so knowledgeable. Tony did an excellent job. I needed my system to be looked at and have a clogged drain unclogged. 30 minutes after I called Tony was already at my house ready to work. I called Smiths A/C at 2:30 am on a sunday night, and a lady answered the phone! At 3 am they called me back, and a nice man was at my house by 9:20 that same morning to give me a quote. I said I needed a new A/C, and a crew came over the same next day at 10 am and they had it installed completely in 3 hours! They were very professional and kind and did an excellent job!! What more could you ask for? And it was affordable! Smiths is the one you need to install a new A/C!!! I was extremely impressed!! Thank you Smiths A/C!!!
Jesus is a great service agent. Polite and skilled he was thorough and knew all elements of his work. Stayed until the job was complete even though it took longer than expected and finished after 6 PM.
Very quick service-Tony arrived earlier than expected-the office did call first to see if he could come earlier- he was very efficient, friendly and polite. He sorted out the issue, he had a part with him to replace the broken part on our compressor. -excellent service
Update on 2/12/2019. We had a musty smell coming from our AC, Tony quickly identified the problem and got everything back to normal. Tony is our AC technician. He is a friendly knowledgeable guy. He works fast and does the job right. I highly recommend Smiths Air Conditioning.

I called Smiths to schedule a/c maintence. The person taking the call was very courteous and helpful, and scheduled my appointment to best meet my availability. Jesus was our technician, called before arriving (on time), very professional and friendly. He wore booties when coming into the house, answered all our questions and did an outstanding job with all the a/c checks, explaining as he went along if my son (the homeowner) was observing or had questions. The price was as quoted over the phone - no funny business needing this or that. The a/c hadnt been checked in four years, so I took great comfort in knowing it had a thorough once over. I have dealt with several a/c companies in the past and had not been satisfied. EXCELLENT, TWO THUMBS up for Smiths!!!!
I had a new AC system installed last month in December. Jesus was the one that did the estimate. He was very professional. He came back to install it with his partner Dave and they both did a great job! They explained everything. Since the installation, the office contacted me to make sure everything is working well. My neighbor was the on that recommended this company and I would also recommend it to anyone i know.

--------Avoid this company at all costs! ------I have called Smiths air conditioning service to service my A/C because ice was building up at the outside unit. Technician(Tony) came out and told me that my unit needs Freon and eventually the unit needs to be replaced because the inside unit is old leaking Freon. I told him that may be adding some more Freon will get me going for another month or so and I will then replace the unit. I just dont have the money now. I was charged $89.00 for the the service call and $101.00 for one pound of Freon. The tech was in an and out within 1/2 hour. Next day I called his office back and told the lady(Mary Ann) that my unit is cooling better than before but i think it may need more Freon. She told me that she would talk to the technician and get back to me. She did call me back with one hour and told me that the technician told her that he will not be able to do anything more because the unit needs replacement. I told her that if he can come back and just check it out one more time, may be he did not put enough Freon or may be he put too much in there but the technician(Tony) refused to come back and look at it. So, I told her ok and hang up the phone. I have called one of my friend to come and check it out. My friend came by next day and after checking he found out that Tony did indeed put too much Freon in the unit. After taking out some Freon the unit started working fine again. I did call back and talked to Mary Ann and told her about it. She did offer me a refund but I refused. I told her that I am not calling to get a refund. I was calling to complain about their lousy service. I dont think I will call this company again and I will discourage any of my friends or family to stay away from this company.
Our AC went out, I called one company and said they would not be able to come out for a few days. We called Smiths and Felix was knocking at our door at 3:00 pm the same day! Felix examined and explained every detail about my ac unit and why it would not function. Felix answered each and every one of my questions to my satisfaction. It was certainly time for a new unit and Felix made his recommendation on a new AC unit and explained all the reasons why the new AC unit would more than meet our needs, as well as more efficient and save on energy cost down the road, up to 30% ! The price of the new unit was well below competitors and they offered maintenance warranty/contracts that were very reasonable and we took full advantage of getting one. In two days they arrived and removed our old unit and installed our new unit, all in one day. I would strongly recommend Smiths when the time comes, you will be quite pleased with them mostly because if I could put their Mission Statement in two words they care about about their customers !!! Avoid this company at all costs!My grandmother, a recently widowed woman, went to Smith for help with her AC and was told she needed new larger ducts. After paying over $1,000 for her small home, the problem was still not resolved. They told her it was as good as it will get! She was in tears and didnt know what to do!She finally went to another company and was told that her ducts had been only partially replaced in small sections. They finished the job for $600.

I will NEVER trust Smith Air again and heres why: They charged me $553 for under 30 minutes work claiming they needed to replace a dual capacitor still under warranty ($20 part online) and a start and relay kit ($35 part online). After writing them a check and getting their new maintenance contract sales pitch, I had doubts and called another company that said theyd come out and install both parts for me for $100 total. I told the owner Toby and he agreed I was overcharged and said hed reduce the invoice to the $353 start kit & relay charge as the other charges should not have been on the invoice.When I had the second company come out to do my maintenance inspection the next day, the tech (20+ yrs in the business) pointed out that my AC doesnt even require or need a start & relay kit and removed it to prove it. He tested voltage and AC still works great after he took the part off. Honest mistake? I dont think so. I had asked the Smith Air tech (Felix) for the old start kit part the prior day and he gave me one that was made for a 3.5-5 ton unit (turns out mine is a 2 ton) and the so-called old part looked brand new, no rust like the capacitor and other parts on my unit. I called the owner of Smith Air a second time and he admitted the start kit should never have been installed and my unit likely never had one to begin with (easily confirmed as I have two identical AC units for my home and the second unit doesnt have a start kit). To his credit, the owner agreed to refund all of my money after I confronted him the second time with this additional evidence.However, I still no longer trust Smith Air as:1) I pointed out on the first call the old part Felix gave me did not even appear to be for my size AC. The owner inspected the invoice on the phone, but he still insisted on charging me $353 for it anyway, the largest of the charges!2) When I questioned Felix originally about the high price, he said its out of his hands, he gets all his pricing from the home office. So what incentive does the employee have to over-bill customers and go as far as to give them fake parts that they claimed to have replaced if not from some kind of serious pressure/incentive from management? Even if you give the owner the benefit of the doubt, the fact he insisted their charge of $353 for a $35 start kit part and under 30 minutes work was their NORMAL PRICE, says it all. This despite the start kit having all of two wires to hook up (10 minutes...30 minutes for the entire job with capacitor change). This is evidence enough to me of how they will charge you given the chance. I would give them one star but the owner at least sent me my money back after I caught them a second time, so two stars I feel is generous.
To be fair they never came to our house. We waited all day (appointment was between 2 and 5pm). At 4:45 we called to check on the technician figuring they were running late on another call. This is how the conversation went: I left a message saying we had to reschedule... No maam you did not. I have no voice mails and no missed calls. oh well maybe it was a different customers phone number I dialed So either the employee on the phone was incompetent or they lied when they said they left a message. Im not taking the chance that the technician will be as incompetent (and misdiagnose the problem) or a liar (and over charge us) So they wasted our day, and it now being 5pm we cant get a hold of any other companies to come fix our ac which means we will end up wasting some of tomorrow on some other company.

Had a problem with heat pump which initially turned out to be a transformer but that was only the start. Tony, Dave and Jesus spent some 6 hours sorting the problem but got there in the end.Excellent work from Smiths who I would highly recommend.Thanks guys.

Very bad service avoid company at all costThey came out and told me I have a leak in my air conditioning and to find the leak it was gonna be 150 and I lost 3 pounds of freon and wanted to charge me 261 for 3 pounds of freon and I was gonna fix it but they wouldnt start the work until I had cash he wouldnt take a check so I had to go get money he told me to call when I came back and he would right back he told me he was gonna answer another call and be right back when my husband called back the lady told him that the tech wouldnt be able to back till late afternoon cause he had a personal appointment at 2 pm I called the lady I told lady that he said he would be right back and ask if they had other tech but they where busy. very bad business u dont tell someone u coming back and u know u cant and then I told her I was calling another company good thing I did cause I never had a leak in my air conditioner and I didnt need any freon. The other company drained a good amount of water out of my handler cause it wasnt blowing air at all in the house it had a airflow problem that was it so they cleaned the unit it never had a leak and it wasnt leaking freon at all I dont need freon at all so make sure you also get a second opinion I learned from my mistake. Just call del air they saved me a lot of money

Came and found a Buss fuse blown (a $2) item. Charged $87 to replace it in addition to the $65 trip charge. $152 for 30 minutes!!! Will not use again.
Very good service! Pretty fast and the person was friendly. I recommend it.
