I just moved up here from Poughkeepsie I was nervous about trying a new nail salon for the first time in three years. I am very happy with the way that Verta did my nails, the gel fill was only $35 but they did charge me $3 extra to fix each nail that was broken. I opted for regular polish for the pedicure because the gel pedicure is $45 which is pretty expensive (usually its $30-35). They dont exactly have the largest selection of colors. My biggest complaint is the horrible lighting, better lighting would do so much for that place. I will see how this set holds up before I decide to go back.

First time I went, I loved them! My acrylic set was so nice and Tonya was very kind. Second time I went however, I had a gentleman do my nails. He was nice, but I felt very rushed and the gel started to peel off like a sticker in a little under two weeks. If you’re going to come here, I recommend requesting Tonya!

This place looks dumpy and dirty. The esthetician filed my cuticles and then they hurt and were bleeding during the acetone placement. She also filed them really short and kept asking to cut them even after I told her to just file in an oval. The gel itself was meticulous.

The cleanest most reasonable nail salon in Kingston! They also do hair which John is GREAT at!

March 3rd I went to Beauty Depot for the first time and Im the happiest Ive ever been! Pedicure - manicure - eyebrows waxed! I will definitely be a repeat customer every 2 weeks! John who did my nails was excellent omg! I will definite!y be referring everyone there!!! Ive gotten a billion compliments on them in the last 2days! I know acouple of people that have gone to 3 other different salons here locally and theyve looked horrible! Thank you Beauty Depot!

The place is okay, the lighting is horrible. I see they have a lot of regulars, that they’re friendly with, not so much with new customers. I always get ANC nails, the first time was not great, 2 nails broke within a week because it was too thin. I decided to try again, and requested who I wanted for the manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was with a brand new girl who was nice but not good, the manicure was so rushed even though the place wasn’t busy and sure enough 4 days later a nail broke. I won’t be back.

Went to get my nails done during my lunch. Lady did an amazing job. She did exactly the design I wanted.

Place follows protocols for sanitizing. Farrah was very good at doing my nails. Prices are good and nice selection of polishes

I just moved from Staten Island to Kingston and this was my first time getting my nails done up here. In 20+ years of getting my nails done this was the first time I have not had the nail tech do ANY form of hand massage, at all, it a drop of hand cream anything. On Staten Island powder dip included a hand massage and then they get up and massage your back and shoulders as well for a few minutes. The prices were outrageous 30 for a regular pedi 45 for a gel pedi - in NYC a pedi is 20 and gel pedi is 30. They charged 30 for a pedicure that included a THREE MINUTE MASSAGE. It was pathetic - THAT IS NOT A PEDICURE LADIES THAT IS JUST A WASH AND PAINT. Where I come from EVERY NAIL salon massages feet for ten minutes. Your nail salon is empty and it’s because you are not providing ANY form of worthwhile service worth coming back for.

I have been going to Beauty Depot for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Tanya and Jon are amazing! Very attentive and friendly. I feel as many of the other reviewers do- treated like family. I highly recommend them for all your nail, wax, and hair needs! You also won’t want to go anywhere else!!!

This is the 3rd time Ive been here and they have been very nice and professional. My first time getting acrylic I asked probably way too many questions; but they took the time and answered everything and very so nice. I love my nails everytime I walk out. If they cant do a certain style; they havent let me down with an alternate.

Wonderful nail salon and hair salon. The owners who are Chinese American are enormously talented and creative. They are very kind and treat my 85 year old wheelchair bound oxygen dependent Mother like their own parent yet manage very hip and new styles easily . You cant loose visiting this salon. It is immaculately clean and very reasonably priced and the owners are the loveliest people ever.

I have to say that today’s experience was good. I called and enquired about a shellac manicure as gel manicures require filling the nail bed, and they said we don’t have that, but... we do gel manicures that don’t disrupt the nail bed. Ok, so I booked an appointment for 2:30, they were overbooked of course, so I waited about a half hour. The gentleman that did my nails was amazing. No mistakes, very careful and nice personality. He assured me that the manicure would last about two weeks. So far so good. I will try this place again.

Ive been to all the nail salons in the Kingston area and have to say the Beauty Depot is the best hands down. They treat you like family so in addition to having an incredible mani or pedi, you feel like youve spent time in an establishment thats happy to see you.

Innattentive service, shoddy manicure. The technician applied the polish way too thick. Hours later its bubbled/rippled and still not dry. I had higher expectations based on all the glowing reviews. . Not at all impressed.

Ugh, I really wanted to like this place. The employees are really kind and I didnt feel like I was being rushed even though I was the last appointment of the day. However, this is the worst SNS manicure Ive ever gotten. It looks texturized and its only been about 2 weeks since I got it, but it has already chipped.
