YOUNG LADIES STAY AWAY!! I do not recommend this company at all. I had many pointless conversations with Phil and Todd that never amounted to anything. Took my business to another local tire shop in the area where I had my service done without any hassle.

They do good work. The only complaint I have is the same problem I had back in August of 2020 KT&A said normal wear and tear (under a 90 day protection from Carmax) just cost me $500 to fix today (6 mos later) for a 3 year old car and wasnt covered by warranty. Could have at least given a discount. For not fixing it in the first place it deserves 3.Edit: Phil reached out to me and after a discussion and still no help from Carmax to resolve a simple solution (and time to think about this rating), I realize its not all KT&As fault. Listen, they DO do good work, thats not the issue. They fixed my brake problem and Im appreciative of that. It just shouldnt have cost me ~$500.

This place is a JOKE. Would not replace a GOODYEAR tire bought less than a month ago that was under warranty. We waited THREE DAYS for the tire to come in that THEY ordered. They then tell us it’s “illegal” for them to install a tire that does not come with the car from factory. They left us going on run arounds with they are “on break”, “with a customer” or “looking into it”. Never once called back in the 10 times we had to call. DO NOT SUPPORT. UNTRUSTWORTHY.EDITED: There is no resolution. We were speaking with Phil, your store manager.

This review is for the service rendered to my family traveling from PA to TX, with two toddlers and a U-haul cargo trailer with my AC blowing hot air! It was not at all easy for the kids and for us. We found Kingsport Tire and Auto Care while driving through TN. They immediately picked up the phone call and asked us to visit for an AC diagnostic test. We took a small detour from the interstate. As soon as we arrived the team greeted us with cold water (when traveling in a hot weather, even the small things do matter!), made us comfortable, and provided snacks for the kids. With the AC diagnostic test they were able to find what needed to be repaired. However, they had to order the parts which meant we had to wait and make an unplanned stop. We left the place with so much positive energy from the teams kindness and excellent service and for treating us like one of theirs and not just a mere business. We would totally recommend to stop here for any Auto service and you wouldnt regret! Joe and the team are the best and your car is in safe hands with them!

Called and made an appointment for a alignment. Arrived & was told they couldnt perform the alignment because I had 2 different sized tires. New 235/75/15s on the rear and the old 30x9.50r15s on the front. It will throw our machine out of whack Really? Your aligning a small truck, not a Sunday cup car. More like these guys only want to take your money if its easy work for them. They dont care to help. Take your business to a local shop thats more deserving of your hard earned money by providing friendly service and fair prices!

If I could give 6 stars I would. This is the third time I have taken a vehicle to these guys for a larger repair. First class operation! Phil, Tony and Joe are super to work with. Honest and personable. This last time had a couple minor mishaps during the repair process and they were upfront and honest about it, but more importantly they took care of it. Don’t think twice about taking your vehicle here!

I never leave reviews but the service we received here was so phenomenal that I wanted the team to be recognized for it. All of the gentlemen working here on July 27th during the afternoon provided some of the best customer service I’ve received to date. We were having some issues with our car on the way from DC to California, we called a few places around the area but no one could take us in on such short notice. Upon calling the establishment the phone was answered in an upbeat and friendly manner, we explained the situation and he told us they would be able to squeeze us in when we got there. When we got there every lift had a car on it so the fact that they squeezed us into an already busy schedule was so nice of them. Every part of our experience was great and I’d recommend their services to anyone. We’ve never received service like this in the city and it was so refreshing!

Refused to replace a tire that was under a Goodyear warranty AFTER they ordered the tire and asked us to come back in a few days. They then tried to sell us a more expensive tire because they couldn’t “legally install” our warranty tire....the SAME tire that was already on the car. Took our business elsewhere and got it swapped immediately.

We are so fortunate to have Kingsport TIre and Auto Care in our community. Phil, Joe and all the staff are always super friendly and always takes the time to explain everything they suggest or offer. I have never felt pressuredto purchase any service or part. These guys truly take care of their customers, not only at the time of sale, but afterwards as well. If you need new tires, repairs or just preventative maintenance, this is the place to go.

I have been doing business with another name brand dealer in the area for years. I called and ask the price on an oil change and wow were they high. So I called Carmax(WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING A CAR FROM) to ask if they did oil changes but they didnt have the capacity at this location, but the recommended Kingsport Tire and Auto Care. I called them and they were able to schedule me the next day at a Great price and got my car in at the scheduled time unlike where I was use to going. They treated me extremely well and had an abundance of drinks and snacks FREE. I WILL BE BACK AGAIN

My husband and I had to take our 2001 Dodge caravan in there today due to some break issues. The men here at Kingsport Tire &Auto are wonderful.. They truly care for the safety of their customers cause they did for us.. thank u now we can door dash and not worry..

I always recieve great service here. Everyone is friendly and they have no trouble explaining things/answering questions. The mechanic even popped in my replacement headlight bulb that was sitting in the car.

The best auto care you’ll ever find! I’ve had two Jeeps that I’ve brought them and they’ve always treated me with such professionalism, caring and honesty. They are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help put you at ease with any problems you’re having with your vehicle. Highly recommend them and wish I wasn’t moving to another state so I could continue to bring my Wrangler to them in the future.

They repaired my tire, gave me a coke and a bag of chips, and then told me that there was a coupon to cover the work! Super nice folks that obviously care about their customers.

Had all four brakes and rotors put on my car on 3/21. Four days later I have loud noise coming from my driver side back wheel and find out that the bolts for that brake arent there. They apparently were put in but not tightened. Yes the people were friendly and got me out the door fairly quickly. I prefer writing good reviews to writing bad ones, but, results like this dont cut it.

These guys have really great customer service and fast mechanics. Inside the waiting room is very classy and modern. There is a nice assortment of snacks and beverages for their clients. I only wish there was a diaper changing table in the restroom. It was very difficult to change my baby on my lap while also keeping my bag off the floor containing items necessary to change her. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be returning, but hopefully they have a diaper changing area next time!

Home visiting. Had a TPM reading before I drove over. Topped off my air on my own but wanted to have that one checked and make sure all 4 were balanced. They fit me in right away. Josh got me taken care of and also helped me out with washer fluid. Glad to be able to recommend.

I went to them bc my breaks were squealing on a new/ used car that I had just bought. I told them that they could just replace all of the breaks bc I wasn’t sure when they were last replaced since the car was new to me. They inspected my breaks & told me that the back breaks were brand new & they didn’t need to be replaced. They were very honest & only put breaks on the front of my car. This saved me a lot of money. I’ve been ripped off by mechanics before bc they think that that they can take you if u come in as a single female but Kpt Tire did not do that. That says a lot to me!

Yesterday was my first time visiting Morgan Tire Service and I could not be more satisfied. I got a flat tire on Wednesday night and had to call around yesterday on my lunch break to find some tires. I called Morgan Tire Service and spoke to Mr. Patterson, who was very friendly and helpful. He did not give me the run around or try to tell me about tires I didnt want. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he made it happen. The customer service I received from everyone there was beyond excellent. The price I paid for 4 new tires was very reasonable and affordable. From what I could tell from just one visit, this company is honest, trustworthy and reliable. I could not be happier about my choice to ultimately go with this company and will surely be back! Thank you all for taking care of me in my time of need!

Outstanding responsiveness and service. They were able to turn around a delivery of Michelin MXM4’s overnight and had them installed for us on the following day. Price was guaranteed in advance and we were in and out of the center in about 90 minutes, including an alignment. The office personnel were all excellent, ensuring the correct tire selection for the vehicle and that we felt comfortable during the wait. The facility is clean — spotless, actually — and easily accessed directly from Stone Drive. We would absolutely recommend this business to anyone requiring tires and alignment.

The staff treat you very good they are usually pretty booked for lots of services ;however with most emergency type issues they try to work around them best they can. They care about your satisfaction.

Great environment friendly staff

On my first visit here, Morgan tire did a great job fixing my air conditioning and even doing a last minute add-on transmission repair. I was in a big hurry due to having to take car on a long trip and they got everything fixed in one day despite my waiting til the last minute. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and very professional. I usually do my own maintenance and repair work, so I’m very picky. These folks did top quality work, very fast, and at very reasonable cost. You can trust this shop, which is a rare thing with car shops these days.

I’m very impressed with the Customer Service!! I had to bring my car back for some things that were covered by warranty. They went above and beyond to make it right, no questions asked! Sadly, that’s not the norm these days!! They were very kind and I appreciated not getting the run around!! I will come back for future purchases!!

I was travelling on I-81 and experienced a flat tire while staying at the local Sleep Inn. I asked the lady at the front desk for a reputable tire shop. She recommended Morgans. Morgans recommended another tire shop that takes AAA!I discovered that I had allowed my AAA membership to expire so, without that as a motivation, I chose to do business with the honest businessman. I found the service friendly, kind to my children and wife who had to wait with me and the cost of the repair more than reasonable. They even refused my offer of additional payment for a job well done.The owner/manager called me back into the garage to ensure that everything was handled properly when replacing the spare. My minivan was heavily loaded due to travelling for the holidays. The men in the shop worked together with me to relocate the spare tire and repack my van.Overall, this is an unashamedly Christian businessman that isnt just talk. Well done!

I have been going to Kingsport Tire and Auto Care for many years with two vehicles. I had a flat tire and they checked it for me and could find nothing wrong with it. Its my secondary vehicle and sits some, so thats likely why it went flat. ANYWAY: they didnt charge me one penny. Thats just a perfect example of why I will continue to take my vehicles to them. They are pleasant, polite and will tell you the truth about your vehicle. Whether you drop your car off or wait, they keep you abreast of the progress of the work on your vehicle. They are extremely skilled and do fantastic work. I would highly recommend them for any service/repairs on your car!

Mixed feelings about the entire experience. I arrived to book an appointment but had to play sherades with the employee about what times were available and when I could book. This was nothing more than a lack of communication that could have been easily resolved. I came very close to scraping the entire thing and going elsewhere but decided to give them another chance. On the day of the appointment the owner was in the shop and the entire experience was exceptional. He took over from the word go and took care of his clients. I am not one that wants to haggle or beat about the bush and he understood this. Made logical recommendations for everything that was required and the process moved along.The office has not changed much from when Morgan owned it years ago but a pointed effort to cater to customers has been made. With coffee and wifi provided to help pass the time as your car is serviced.The tire selection remains a strong point for this service with their team able to get most things quickly for anything they may not have on hand at the shop. The price is reasonable and I have never felt that anything was excessive.

We bought a set of Continental Tires for a Toyota Matrix. These tires looked good, BUT the ride was improved by 110%. The folks at Morgan Tire are professional and will take care of any needs, give you answers, help get you to a solution in rubber, air conditioning, and many other auto services. Dale, the owner treats all like he wants to be treated. So, remember service and product should always accompany each other and if one lacks then the other lacks too, but not at Morgan Tire.

I always take my car here to have anything done because it’s always done right and they always make sure the customer is happy. Husband visited the store. The only thing he told me was they did not have a tire to fit his Jeep. Thats what I was going off of. after telling him about this coming through here. He tell me they were very nice to him. He did buy 4 other tires. They even offered him something to drink while he was waiting. Not a Robot. Just now getting around to rating places we have been.

I thought we were getting good deals here and I have been sending my kids there with their cars for basic work, my daughter took her car there for a oil change, $84 dollars for a 4 cyl motor, she had been going to the Chevy dealer for $55 but we had a issue with them and not being honest, but this place just totally took advantage of a teen girl, she doesn’t drive a Maserati, I have heard of price gouging but this is BS

I was heartbroken to learn that the master tech as well as the head salesman from the shop I had visited for years had both left. The old shop wouldnt tell me where they had gone but fortunately I found them over at Morgans. Scott knows his tires and can show me exactly which ones will fit my needs. Dale is always there to help me understand the technical needs of my car. It is like getting dealership level help at a mom and pop store price.

The owner is super nice! They can even give you a ride to work and back after you drop off your car and they do other services besides only tires. I’ll definitely be back!

Paid $1000 for a brake job, which would have been tolerable if they had bled the lines properly and replaced my brake fluid without being asked (they let me drive off without any - thank God I noticed). I am currently having a new caliper put on, less than 3 years after the botched job they did. Honestly, I felt patronized by the guys here (I admittedly dont know much about brakes or cars - I seek out professionals who are experts in their respective fields for this reason), but Im glad I found a shop that finally listened to me, acted very professionally, and isnt over-charging me to fix the mistake this shop made. Go to Express Oil Change: they have pleasantly surprised me with excellent service time and time again.

I have used them for years for all my vehicles and found their service to be top notch. They will let me know what needs and just as importantly what does not need to be done. They are not trying to justify work that is not needed.

Joe took special care of my 1968 Plymouth.i was very impressed with his work ethic. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

I had a flat and arrived at the store at 5:15 pm with them closing at 5:30 pm. I offered to leave the car till Friday. They went ahead and changed the tire and I was out by 5:30 pm. Fantastic folks.

Service advisors have poor mechanical understanding. Shop work is subpar. Return trips for missed work became regular occurrence. (Oil changes and even tire pressure adjustments could not be performed correctly with lots of lip service and excuses). Appointments are not honored. Owner wont accept criticism. Shame, this used to be a decient shop. I should have looked for a better shop sooner. Sorry Larry. I was a loyal customer for over 15 years. You know who I am! I hope you can get a grip on your business, i really do.

These guys don’t have time to even plug a tire for my grandfather who spent over 600 in tires with them that needed plugging. Tire barn did it for free. You didn’t have time to work on our vehicle this Saturday and told us to bring it in Tuesday. They don’t have time for nothing. Take your business elsewhere.

UPDATE!I am updating a previous negative review. Manager Dale Patterson contacted me and apologized for the poor service I had received and wanted to fix the problem. He was unaware of the problem and a review of the situation indicated the mistake was initiated by an employee who is no longer there (I know there were some different people there when this happened). We reached a very satisfactory conclusion and he assured me he was commited to customer satisfaction. I am going to leave the original negative review up for reference but I feel certain it is highly unlikely anyone will have such a negative experience at Morgans.*Original Review* I bought a set of new rims and tires there and the rims did not fit. They scrub the brake caliper. Morgans said that was not unusual and that it would go away but if I wanted to buy some spacers they would put them on for free. 3 yrs. later they are still scrubbing and the Dealership said that condition was unsafe. I guess I am out $600 for a set of junk rims. But dont let Morgans or any other tire store sell you rims that scrub. It is NOT acceptable! Buyer beware.

Not a great experience with time at first as they were really busy. I was in a hurry to get kids after school an hour away. They helped me, even though i was aggravated and belligerent, they changed my flat to a new tire and sent me on my way. Im sure I will have a better experience in the future. They handeled my situation good .

This is the best auto service company I have ever dealt with since moving to Kingsport in 07. I have received nothing short of the best service, timely repair schedule and fair charges for all work preformed. The top notch service department solved problems that several other shops failed to diagnose.The service personnel were so patient while I relayed my car problem(s) and quickly solved and issues. They even allowed me to answer their questions concerning my issues.Each man has a specialty for car repairs and have a vast amount of experience in their feild. I felt so confident after talking with them and was very satisfied with all repairs.They even drove me home after dropping my car off.
