The people who are organizing the reservations are terrible. The condo I rented was old, outdated and the bathroom was disgusting. For sure these rental homeowners know the condition of the unit but still rent it out at a high price. Maintanence guy Austin was awesome, however these guys who do the reservations just throw all the problems to him, and he actually did a better customer service than the guys who just sits in the office answering the phone.
Maui Condo and Home was so helpful in setting up our vacation condo. After searching the internet (for way to long) I came across a condo that was listed under this group. I realized that the internet special had expired so I called (crazy I know). The woman I spoke with was so helpful and was able to book me into the Maui Vista unit #3421. Not only did she give me a special rate ($300) cheaper than the cheapest AirBnb or other, but she also put us in a really nice unit. #3421 was our home for a week and it had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the unit even had boogie boards, ice chests and a beach umbrella. Our teenage daughter took the upstairs loft (with separate bath), our 7 year old son the foldout couch and my wife and I the back bedroom. Not only was there plenty of space, but both the front room and the back bedroom had an a/c unit. A short walk down the complex sidewalk took you to one of the nicest beaches in south Kihei. We saw turtles every morning off the left (north) side of the rocky point. The complex pools were on the small side, but very refreshing to hop in at the end of the day. We will definitely return to this unit and most definitely use Maui Condo again!!!
We stayed at Sugar Beach Resort Unit#227 from 2-13-2020 to 2-18-2020, 5 night stay for $2,237. The view from the lanai was amazing, that is the only positive thing to mention about the unit we stayed in. The mattress should have been replaced years ago, it had 2 deep ruts in it making for a very uncomfortable stay. Same goes for the nasty carpet that had ripples/waves in it 1.5 inches high. The vents in the bathroom over the shower had clumps of dirt blowing out. Spider webs on walls and corners that were well established. Very old, uncomfortable and smelly couch that was sat in by us one time. The list could go on but that paints the picture of how little the guests were thought of when the accommodations were rented out. See the attached pictures. Note to the owner and management company: You should be ashamed of yourselves for renting that unit out for nearly $500 a night, for a minimal investment the unit could make the guests stay memorable in a positive way.
We were so disappointed with Maui condo & home. We rented at Kihei Surfside through them. They didn’t reply to emails & don’t answer their phones! Checkin was at 4:00 - but they didn’t give us the door code until 4:20! The room was clean & ready at 1:30!!!!! Never again would we book through them.
Our condo was great and painless!
Building 7, Unit 107. 7-107.Maui Condo and Home was very easy to deal with and they went out of our way to make our reservation work for us as we were staying in two different units this trip. Booking was simple, payment easy and secure.Since this was the second unit we were staying in, the cleaning staff allowed us to move our fridge items in very early....extremely helpful. The unit itself left basically everything to be desired. While it was very clean (props to the staff) the unit was severely out of date and the absolute most basic place weve stayed at and seen in this complex. We have stayed in 4 different units and each time visited people in multiple units. There is no screen door on the front entrance, not allowing for a cross breeze with a locked door. EVERY other unit in the complex has one. The bed was very uncomfortable. There was minimal linens. The unit is advertised as sleeping 4 persons. While there were 4 or 5 towels, there was one washcloth and Zero dishcloths. There were no cleaning supplies for daily cleanup other than a green scrubby and a sample size of dish soap. The pictures show the state of the unit. The cabinets are all water damaged at the bottom, one section of them is very bad and noticeable. The corners appear to be damaged somehow/rotting. There is no baseboard or trim as shown.Again, advertised as a 4 person unit, and as shown in the clearly outdated photos, there is supposed to be a 4 person outdoor patio set. We found that the table had only 2 chairs which were both rusting out at the base. There were a few very old and damaged beach chairs and a couple umbrellas in the closet, but I think they are leftovers from others. We did bring forth the above concerns to the Maui Condo and Home rep, they brought us a few washcloths, no dishcloths every showed up and they stated they would pass on the other items to the owner. Based on the condition of the place, I doubt the owner gives any Fs.I am shocked that this unit rents for the price of many other far superior units. Will never stay in this unit again. But would probably book through this company if there are good reviews and recent pictures of the unit.
We stayed here at the beginning of March 2019. Good location. Beach right across the street with basking turtles. It is a short drive to food and other beaches. The condo and grounds are kept well. There was a chest on the Lani that had beach chairs, foam pad for the beach, skin boards and a small cooler for a few drinks or snacks and a big cooler. The inside is nice. The kitchen has everything you need. There are a few amenities that others have left, but you will need to see what is left so you know what to buy.The pool and spa area is nice, not overly busy. We used the ocean and not the pool.We would stay here again.
Booked a Black Friday deal with this management company (paying in full) and two months later, they said the unit was no longer available. They were not able to offer any comparable unit. Fortunately they did refund us, but our choices were much more limited so close to our already planned trip dates. I would not book through them again.
The condo itself was nice and not far from the elevator for people who cant do stairs. The problems started one day after we arrived when we discovered the condo above us was undergoing renovation which made our condo sound like a war zone. The rental agency refused a refund or another comparable unit anywhere, they did offer us a much less desirable property for a large fee. So beware of the customer service, it isnt there. The Maui Sunset is a lovely complex, but perhaps you should rent from another company.
We loved the condo. Very clean and kept. Everything we needed was right there. The complex exceeded expectations by being very quiet and respectful. We would definitely go back.
This company has been wonderful to work with. They checked in with us from day 1 making sure everything was as expected in our condo. Housekeeping was great. I had super over the top support with an ipad left on the charger at check out. There was an after hours number to phone and report the problem and they have been there with me every step of the way to get it shipped home to me.
Our experience with Maui Condo and Home was amazing! Staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. Our unit was well maintained and had beach items for our use, which saved us money on rentals. The beach right across the street was perfect for watching the sunset and downtown was a short 20 minute walk!I would definitely consider staying here again for a future visit to Maui!
Our ideal vacation home was exactly like the one we stated at Maui Kamaole! Views were breathtaking. The apartment has great decor, a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed and more. We felt right at home. The gardens were nicely kept. We sat almost every evening in our lanai on the ground floor (HUGE PLUS) and watch the sunset and the whales. We could actually watched the whales any time. You will need to bring your binoculars and we did bring ours. There is a nice pool, despite the fact that we never used it because we were at the beach all the time. We will come back over and over to the same apartment. WE LOVE IT AND WE LEFT OUR HEARTS IN MAUI!
Unit 6-405 Kamaole SandsGreat location - Kamaole Sands units are all directly across the road from the beach. We could walk down to that beach and boogie board with turtles under our feet. Great sunset views as well.Condo was well stocked with towels and linens. Updated, and has a great selection of kitchen utensils and appliances.Would most definitely come back and stay in this unit as well as others in the area.
Great rental agency! Offers lots of different option on Maui. Call ahead and theyll be able to get you into the perfect place!
We had a wonderful stay in our condo! We had a two bedroom ground floor unit and it was perfect for our family. Right across from the beach and it had everything we could need including beach toys and chairs. Would book again!
Everything went perfectly. The condo at Maui Parkshore #312 was more than we could ask for. I was waiting for a catch but there was none. Very homey, clean, and upgraded unit. The only thing someone mentioned, there was no ac, but it was fine for me. We were out and about during the hottest times of the day and cooled off in the pool in the evening. Would stay again and referring to friends.🤙
Jill Thomas, of Maui Condos, recommended the Hale Kamaole condominiums in South Kihei. We could not be more pleases with her recommendation. The condominium was well furnished and everything was in working order. The location could not be beat for staying in Kihei. We were close enough restaurants to be able to walk into town in the evening and avoid driving. Yet, we were far enough out of town that the end of the traffic snarl was a block away. This made for a quick getaway to other parts of the island. Great job Jill. Thank you.
Pros: The location is good. Customer service is responsive to any question and anything neededCons: The unit 506 is exhausted, the couch is not clean, no proper direction when i arrived on how to access the unit or who shall i speak with. the AC is too loud to use. No parking pass was available once i arrived and i had to call in and followup until i get it after i found note on my car that i have to get a pass in order to park
Stayed in Maui Banyan in H502 and it was wonderful! Everything you could need and more. We went during hurricane lane and would have no problem staying in our condo for a few days it was beautiful.
Horrible experience. The unit was nothing like the descriptions online, filthy condition, smelled of rotting garbage and sewage, Dirty towels and dishes, and terrible condition overall. Called to talk with the management company to let them know the condition of their rental and was told by Debbie the reservation manager that our stay was non-refundable, and if we wanted to leave that was up to us, and that it was our fault for not viewing the property before booking. We booked months ago, and do not live in Hawaii. Debbie was rude, condescending, and just made for a terrible experience. Horrible company, horrible manager. stay anywhere else.
UPDATED RATING (3 stars) AFTER THE OWNERS RESPONSEDear Casey,Thank you for responding to my review! Thank you for your apology and for requesting an opportunity to make the trip up to us. We appreciate your congratulations as well and would gladly accept your desire to improve our next stay. It would definitely help us with having a better impression about your property and would heal the painful memories that the disappointment caused me and my husband on our honeymoon. Let me know how can we get in touch with you when planning our next trip.Best,YuliaORIGINAL REVIEW (1 STAR)Our apartment was extremely outdated. The rooms looked like at an old outdated motel that required renovation, new furniture, and better cleaning services. When we checked in, we took off our shoes cause it asked to do so on the sign. After touring around the apartment we realized that our feet were dirty and we wanted to wash them. That is how the floors were dirty and unacceptable to walk on with the shoes taken off. We requested the housemaid person to come in and take care of this. When she showed up, she spent 40 minutes talking about how she is not a housemaid and was a little unprofessional by involving us into unnecessary payment details that her and her boss were discussing. After hanging out at our place for about 30 minutes, she finally started mopping the floors. The idea is, she was mopping them for 15 minutes total in the apartment with 1 bedroom, two bathrooms, kitchen, long hallway, and a large living room. You can imagine that there is no way you can mop the floors well in 15 minutes in such a huge space. After so-called mopping she just left. After this incident, no one called us to even check in regarding how the cleaning services went and whether we need anything else. On top of all that, I asked Maui Condo and Home office if they could provide a hand soap....Yes, there was no single hand soap provided. So they just responded that they were not supposed to provide the soap. They convinced me that it is all on the client. Okay.I hope you make your own conclusions after reading this, but we were extremely disappointed with our experience after staying at one of the apartments provided by Maui Condo and Home at Kamaole Sands. I didnt even mention that this trip was our honeymoon vacation. Unfortunately, this apartment was a resource of the worst memories about our special trip. Thank God, my husband and I have a good sense of humor and we know how to focus on the best... But honestly, I think this company owes us a full refund.
I loved the location and the views, but I didnt love the construction work that went on the entire time we were there. I never got to take a nap during the day and when we were in the room during the day it was very noisy. Not relaxing at all, until after work hours. Definitely put a damper on the enjoyment. Some of the furniture in the unit was worn and torn, but I would stay there again during a time no construction is going on.
Easy beach access. Clean, friendly, great views, and plenty of amenities. Walking distance to many stores and restaurants.
Unit 409 was poorly cleaned after the previous renters! Sand, dust, windows, etc. We were not comfortable when we realized the unit did not have a smoke detector, let alone a carbon monoxide detector.Bbques were very clean every day as well as the pool! Paul is doing a wonderful job! He is a keeper!
They moved me to a hotel that was a 12 minute drive away, not on the beach as previously booked, they didn’t return my calls for three days, the room was on the ground floor and the patio doors locks were broken from what looked like a previous break in. They didn’t send anyone to repair the locks my items and security were left exposed for 4 days. When finally getting ahold of the manager Debbie she was extremely unprofessional. Extremely disappointed!
STAY AWAY. By far, the WORST customer service and experience of my life.We spend over $1,000 dollars on a property for a Maui vacation. We arrive at our condo to shortly discover the unit directly above us is undergoing a complete renovation. We have a 3 month old baby who was horrified and terrified of the jack hammering and insanely loud banging from overhead. It literally sounded like the ceiling was going to collapse on top of us. The manager was rude, passive aggressive and told us she could only give us a 10% discount or we could pack everything up and move.No compensation for the hours spent trying to contact them or the hours spent packing up and relocating. Talk about a damper on our vacation.
Maui Sunset A-408I would NEVER rent thru Maui Condo & Homes again. First & last time. Regardless that the reason why we got a wicked deal on the property (sale 40% off), never again. Our arrival date was October 18, 2019. The reason why I rented this unit was that there was a washer/dryer in the unit. When we arrived, I walked in to see a green post-it note on the washer, Washer Broken - management company notified 10/8/2019. This was broken 10 days prior to our arrival, & I never received any sort of notification or anything. We packed with the assumption that appliances were going to be in working condition, and considering we were coming to Maui after visiting another island, we needed to do laundry. I couldnt get a hold of anyone from the management company when we arrived, but after several phones calls, I called and got thru to after hour emergency line, spoke to someone there and he left a message for the management company the following day. I had also sent an email. I called the following morning, as I was livid, & spoke to one of their agents. He informed me that they will try & have a washer & dryer delivered on Monday, but cant guarantee anything but hope for the best. I asked if there was another unit that we can move too, and he provided me with 1.. so we went to look at it first & thank goodness we did. We walked up to the unit, & just by looking at the door, i knew that this wasnt going to be acceptable, we opened the door to a dark, musty unit. The unit that I rented had partial ocean view, this replacement condo, had a view of a tree with branches & leaves in the balcony. Needless to say, we did not move. The communication with Maui condos is not good either. A week prior to our arrival, I had no idea what the check in procedure would be, do we need a key or do we need a code, so I emailed Maui Condos & received a reply that I would get an email 3 days prior to arrival with a code to the unit. The night of the 17th - 1 day prior to arrival, I have yet to receive any email from Maui Condos & emailed them, they sent me a code the day of check in. It just felt like I was always chasing them to provide me with information needed. The unit was not cleaned thoroughly at all, we ended up wearing our shoes the entire time while in and out of the unit. A few days in, I was sweeping the kitchen floor and noticed that there were broken pieces of glass around the wine cooler. At this point, we had called the management company many times, due to the washer issue, & also mentioned that the place is not clean and there was broken pieces of glass on the floor. Their response to that was, Ill let the cleaners know.** in response to Casey’s reply. I did not have enough space and had to remove some of my original post. So here goes:I did not get 3 emails regarding check in details. I sent an email Oct 12, 2019 indicating that we were checking in in a week and had received no check in details. Auto reply was received. Received email Oct 12th stating that an email will be sent 3 days prior to arrival with check in details. Nothing was received 3 days prior. Hence another email on Oct 17, 2019 that we were checking in tomorrow (Oct 18). Auto reply was received. Received check in details the day of arrival Oct 18. If you count the auto replies as check in information, then yes. You are correct. We received 3. As for the refund and more for added work. We received a refund of $164.10. I spent 9 hours in a laundry mat. My 9 hours is worth much more than $164.10. The condo that you guys provided that had a washer and dryer was musty, dark and practically had a palm tree IN the balcony. Why would we move to that when we were in a brighter, partial ocean view and a condo that didn’t stink? I still have all the email communications, so if you can provide the dates that the 3 emails regarding check in information that was sent, I’ll verify it.
We stayed in unit 1306 in the Maui Vista. It was clean, comfortable, but unfortunately, we did find the road noise quite disconcerting. The property managers were great, dealing with the very small issues that we had. I dont believe I would deal through vrbo again, with the extra costs they add on.
Booked a package that included 4 nights on one of their beach front properties. Their policy states that you need to call 72 hours before check in, so I called an hour after booking because I was already in that window (the Hotwire email stated the room was confirmed and I didn’t need to call, but I was following the hotel’s rules). The woman who answered my call was unable to find my reservation and laughed saying I needed to give it a few hours because it’s earlier in Hawaii than California (I’m sorry I wasn’t aware that booking software operated on a time zone related lag) and to try calling back the next day. Ok.Next day— I’m at work and I get a voicemail from MC&H saying I was sold that room by accident, that it was overbooked, and that they’d try to accommodate me at another property.I called back during my lunch (I work 12 hour shifts with a 30 min break so I didn’t have a lot of time for phone tag) and they said what the voicemail said. I was told I’d be sent an email (and they read back my correct email address) with all of the details on the new location. Okay, great. I was willing to roll with it.When I got off work that evening— no email, no voicemail, no carrier pigeon. I tried calling them— No means of getting in touch with the property/MC&H.———— so it was the evening before a morning flight to Maui and I had no hotel room. I looked into alternatives while trying to get in touch; The cheapest hotel available on the island was over $330 a night before taxes, everything else was over $400 a night, so finding an alternative last second wasn’t a viable option.2 hours on the phone with Hotwire later, and 5 Hotwire agents trying to reach MC&H, and ultimately had to take a refund (thank god I purchased trip insurance) on the whole trip because of these guys.Wanna add insult to injury? Read the Yelp! reviews for these guys. Apparently the 3rd party booking bait ‘n switch is the name of their shady game. They often have “glitches” and have to relocate guests, only to ask them for $$$
This condo was in a great location, loved the view. Friendly staff welcoming us.There was enough dishware and cookware for the two of us. Unfortunately the unit was only surface clean on our arrival. The tub was so grimy my wife wouldnt use it until it was cleaned. There were no cleaning supplies in the unit so we had to purchase our own. Considering the table tops and dining table are glass I had expected at least some windex to be in the cupboard. There was hair on the bathroom floor and on the walls of the bathroom. Dead bugs along the baseboards . The unit is quite out dated, the carpet was unsightly. There was only one couch to sit on to watch TV and it stank of body odor so badly my wife removed the covers and washed them all. Its quite old so she was worried the cushions would disintegrate. It improved the smell a bit but not the comfort. The island feel furniture is not made for sitting on. The comforter set on the bed also smelled of body odor so we just removed it and left it on the dresser. As previously stated in another review the hair dryer doesnt work. We decided not to notify the condo owner of the poor cleaning because it didnt take us long to whip it into shape and didnt want the inconvenience of people in the unit. However, I strongly suggest they get a better cleaner in there. Over all this unit would not be comfortable for more than two people, the bathroom is off the open style master so there would be no privacy with people walking by to use facilities, and there is nowhere to sit comfortably. So sad as this condo has a lot of potential.
We just returned home from our 2nd trip to Maui in 18 months. Both times we stayed here and will be returning next year. The condos we stayed in (penthouse the first visit, and 3rd floor in the other building this past visit) were ocean front and a little run down. The carpet in the living room and bedroom in both units was a little dingy and there was peeling wall paper in the first unit. That being said, BOTH units were clean and well equipped. We loved having a full kitchen, washer and dryer and a separate bedroom. You cant beat the location and while the beach is a public beach, its not crowded. Its within walking distance to an ABC store, bakery, shave ice and a farmers market (on S Kihei Rd). The ladies at the activities desk were more than helpful in booking a luau for us, renting snorkeling gear (cheapest we found) and recommending great beaches as well as food. Over all this complex meets all of our needs despite the units we stayed at being a bit run down.
Stayed at the Kahana Reef room 117. The view and steps to the beach were unbeatable. I loved being on the first floor as well! The only thing I was very very upset about was the comfort of the bed. It was literally like a piece of ply board. We ended up sleeping on the couch bed because the bed was that bad. The entire bedroom needs a lift; carpet, walls painted, and dresser that smells a bit funny. Overall, I loved staying there but the bedroom needs a revamp. Thank you for having us and I would love to stay there again and would highly reccomend it as well.
Horrible management company big complex with no handicap parking spaces. Top floor has an airconditiong for the entire 6 story building right above your unit. I heard a drone from above and I had a hard time sleeping through it the whole 2 weeks I was there. Also mold was foaming and cresting from the leaky ceiling above airconditiong unit. Last night I was there the electricity went out... no help no flash lights pitch black
Maui vista#1306,Please please please! stay away from this unit. They have outdated appliances in the condo. Weve had multiple maintenance issues during our 7 days stay. Refrigerator was partially broken. Washer/Dryer was very loud and noisy. Useless AC - temperature was restricted up to 72F. Bedroom is very hot. No window ventilation.Toilet tank/flush was in poor condition. We had to make in between service request to make it work properly. They blamed us for lifting the tank as if there was a hidden treasure inside it which we wanted to search for!!! It was impossible to use the toilet till the request was fixed by plumber and we had to worked it around manually. Finally massive amount from the deposit was taken away blaming us to break the toilet tank. No photo, no proofs sent to us.Also don’t use HomeAway/VRBO etc. Always use AirBnb.Edit: Number of shoes/sandals don’t really define the number of guests. There were of course more considering it was a beach destination. Did he see/picture or mapped shoes to the number of guests? Great rip off argument and strategy. Check the creditability of the plumber first. Nothing more to add. This is done and dusted. Never visiting that same place again ever or booking from the same platform. Individual owners are far better to deal with.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom at Maui Kamaole I-111. It was wonderful. This unit had EVERYTHING you could possible want! Kitchen very well stocked you do not need anything but your food, several spices etc there.Closet full of books, board games, coolers and beach chairs, towels for pool and beach.Walk to Kamaole beaches, downtown Kihei, 5 Palms resturant and beach.Quiet! 2 lovely pools, each very different. This place was perfectMaui Condo and Home very good to work with..I am a travel agent and I have a vacation rental in California wine country so I know... and these folks do it right!!!
Perfect location and condo set-up for our needs - highly recommend
We had a bad start, none of the codes provided worked so we couldnt get into the unit, even though it was after the 3pm, check in time. After Austin, the Maui Condi and Home representative opened the unit for us, it took him several phone calls and about 20 minutes to find out that the key system had been changed.Once we got into the unit we were disappointed with the dirty coverings of the furniture.Aside from this rocky start, the unit had just about all the things we needed to enjoy our stay.Plenty of beach toys and kitchen utensils and appliances.
Hello we stayed at condo 411 for our vacation last week. We read the reviews and how helpful and attentive the owner is all of this turned out to be wrong. STAY AWAY from this condo on the rental list on VRBO. Many things are broken . in bad repair and VERY DIRTY. Bathrooms, Kitchen and most surfaces including walls have layers of dirt. WE called the owner several times to let them know washer was on its way out, screen door was not working, light bulbs not replaced and kitchen a miss match of throw away pots pans and utensils all shoved everywhere. The fridge was full of old spills and dirt on every inch inside. Fans barely work but do drop lots of dirt all over bed every day and counters in kitchen. Bathroom shower and bath full of dirt and disgusting debris on doors and walls. The heat was intolerable all week, the cheap fans do not keep condo cool from 12 noon to about 2 or 3 in the morning, the shade on patio does little to help. All in all do not rent this condo if you want to avoid a week like this!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leinaala Unit 204! The unit was clean, very comfortable and very quiet. Most of all, we enjoyed the unobstructed view of the ocean and sunsets! Very much appreciated the keyless access, the updated furnishings and the helpful management on site. We will return!
Kauhale Makai - Village by the Sea RentalsIt was a great place to stay in Maui. The grounds were well kept, the location was perfect to everything, the front desk staff was very knowledgeable, the concierge was instrumental in helping us find activities we ended up LOVING. The condo was exactly what we wanted, enough space to come and go and save money by eating in, from time to time. What a great way to wake up in the morning - hearing the birds and smelling the fragrance of Maui. I would recommend this as a place to stay.
I started booking with Maui Condo & Home in 1999 and have been more than satisfied with the staff and service as well as the accommodations. My most recent stay was in December of 2018 for 10 days at Kauhale Makai unit #605. I have been staying at Kauhale Makai for nearly 20 years and it is by far my favorite place to stay when on Maui. Thank you again for the beautiful memories!
We had a wonderful time at Kamaole Sands! The grounds are beautiful and have great amenities. We would stay here again for sure. Our condo unit 09-102 was an average unit compared to other family member units that were rented, this is the reason for 3 stars. The unit could use a little updating as the living room furniture shows its use and looks dirty. The bedding for the pull out sofa needs to be replaced as some of the sheets and mattress pad had stains on them which my daughter had issues sleeping on. This unit also has a locked lanai closet with all the beach items we couldnt access so we had to use beach items from other condo units our family had that were accessible. The complex has a fun little happy hour on wednesdays at the pool that has free mai Tais and entertainment. The location of the condo is also right accross from the beach and close to everything! If you want a view of ANYTHING, this is not the unit # for you. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much at Kamaole Sands, but would rent a different unit! Cant wait to come back to Hawaii!!!
Just got home - 2nd stay at Kahana Reef - different unit - very enjoyable -clean and comfortable - will definitely return
Kauhale Makai # 312THE WORST ONSITE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET.10-4 office hours; 90 minute lunches. Closed SUNDAY.NONE of the laundry room cods worked. NONE of the pool gate codes worked. Tried to check in DAILY ; nobody was EVER there.I have been in Real Estate and property management nearly 30 years and I have NEVER been exposed to such disregard for customers.$200 a night to have maintenance workers POUNDING and hammering.$200 a night to have to be let in to laundry room on last day to wash clothes. $200 a night to have NOBODY return the MULTIPLE calls made to attempt to check in. HERES A CLUE FELLOW TRAVELERS: Just FIND A BEAT UP motel nearby...WAY BETTER VALUE...
Condo was beautiful and clean with a good ocean view as well. Walking distance to several parks/ beaches. Lots of recent and current remodeling happening, construction was only during day jours while i was out about the island so it wasnt a bother at all. All the staff and construction crew was courteous and helpful. Highly recommend this location as its central to the island and reasonably priced! Will definetely stay here again next year!
We rented room #10-101 in Kamole Sands and were very pleased. We have stayed at Kamaole Sands 5 times and this was the best unit we have had. The condo had been updated and was very clean and well stocked. I was able to cook Thanksgiving dinner there without a problem. The unit was next to the wash off area outside which helped to control the sand coming into the condo. This unit is literally just across the street from the beach. The only drawback was hearing the traffic through the night since it was so close to the road.
#3301 was not worth the price should be in the $120 price range. but a quiet building
Kahana Reef Condo #313 was just as perfect as we remember! Last time we rented as tourists, and four or five years later, were now Big Island guests, visiting Maui to meet up with friends. We had a great experience dealing with the folks at Maui Condo & Home as well as the owner - everyone worked to let us know we were welcome and were quick to answer questions and help when we needed it. The unit was super clean and had some of the basics you need before you do serious grocery shopping (if you eat in). We bought water, but the unit even had a Brita filter, so you dont have to leave behind a bunch of plastic bottles! The grounds are meticulously kept - every morning they work to gather up the fallen leaves, and every night they put the chaises back in order - just like a resort. Still, the REAL REASON you choose Kahana Reef is for the ocean front view - the sound of the waves crashing against the sea wall and the beautiful view of Molokai and Lanai, with spectacular sunsets and if youre lucky, rainbows galore. The price point for this condo is the best on Maui - you get more than you pay for when you enjoy all that Kahana Reef has to offer in location, staff, and time on the lanai!
Great location and adequate condos for the price. Note: map marker is incorrect.
Very professional
Great view !!!! Clean nice great !!!
We stayed at KamaoleSands 2-205. The room was clean and quiet.I could walk to kamaole beach, so I went to see the sunset almost every day.
