An excellent location - a nice beach with great views that is fairly calm for swimming and floating, and centrally located making it most convenient to get to any part of the island. The condo we had (#20) was perfect for the 2 of us. The porch had a table for eating outside, and chairs and end table for enjoying a drink while listening to the ocean. They call this condo a partial ocean view, but you really can only see a sliver of the ocean if you stand in the right spot. We always brought our breakfast, evening appetizers, or dinner down to the community tables or lawn chairs for a full ocean view. The condo was fairly well equipped.

We were super impressed with this place. It is meticulously maintained. The staff were superbly kind and helpful. The location was perfect for us. It was nice to walk right out onto the beach to watch the sunrise and sunset each day. The kids loved the pool and the cat Smokey. If we go back to Maui we will definitely be staying here again.

The room we rented was very nice with full kitchen, supplies for cooking, beach supplies, extra towels, etc. Right on the beach, sound of surf at night was very calming.

We stayed in unit #4 the unit was on the first level upstairs was extremely loud and it wasnt really their fault, the ceiling creaked with every footstep, extremely annoying when you are trying to sleep. The air-conditioning had oodles of mold in both of them, not good for your health, there is no ocean view its out to the right. Its ok for the money I guess but the mold was concerning.

Beautiful, well taken care of place to stay. Everyone was friendly and we had a great time sitting on the little grass yard in the back. Close to many gorgeous destinations. Thoughtfully decorated and clean. We had an incredible time!

I didnt get many pics of the inside of the condo, but it was just perfect! Had a full kitchen, livingroom, bedroom and bathroom; everything you need! The staff was very accommodating and friendly! The beach was literally a hop, skip and a jump away. You had ample space to lay out and sunbathe and could jump into the ocean whenever you felt necessary. Within walking distance to a local store and farmers market, which was nice!

Its showing its age (50 years) and electric outlets are scarce. Many units have been very nicely upgraded, but ours only the shower and carpet. Kitchen does work, minimally. Value is there, however, if you shop around.

This place doesnt look impressive from outside, but wait to judge it. Wait and go inside your appartment! Its amazing! Furniture, kitchen, bed, bathroom. Everything is awesome! We loved it! These pictures show the beach. We love, that it was always not crowded, as many beaches on the island. So you can enjoy yourself and the view

This place is really nice for a vacationing. It feels very much like a home and is a great place to stay if you want to feel like youre living on the island and not just staying there as a tourist. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on the island and my wife and I will definitely be booking it again for our next trip!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kihei Kai. There was a bit of construction going on when we stayed but we did not hang around during the day time so it never affected us. The interior of the condo was updated and very comfy, it felt like home.The property managers, Paula and Ron, were some of the nicest people weve met on our travels. They provided the basics as you would expect, but it was also great to see that they had beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc for us to use.If youre looking for a lay at the pool and be waited on vacation Id recommend going to a resort in Kaanapali because this isnt that kind of spot, but if you want a nicely appointed condo steps from the beach with all the comforts of home this is it. We loved the beach town vibe of Kihei too.

Its right on the beach and quiet. Very relaxing atmosphere and very well maintained. Beautiful foilage and flowers on the property. The condos are in a very nice location to experience the island. I think the best part of the stay was the management! Amazingly helpful and wonderful! Great people and they did so much to help us enjoy the trip!

We stayed for 16 days in Unit 12 owned by Chip and Charlotte. The condo was great, updated and fully equipped as advertised. The beds were very comfortable with the pull out bed in the living room the most comfortable wed ever slept on. The complex is very well groomed with mature gardens that offer great wildlife sounds to which you wake. Being right on the beach is what staying on Maui is about along with the complex being centrally located with easy access to the highways to go anywhere on the island. Chip and Charlotte were great to deal with and accessible anytime. Paula and Ron were also very friendly and warm complex managers. We will stay here again and have already recommended staying there to our friends.

Great hidden gem on Maui. We stayed in #15 which is privately managed with a very helpful and responsive host. Condo is more or less completely remodeled inside and we loved being so close to the beach/water. Every morning we walk to Sugar Beach Bakery. Centrally located to all of the island activities and only 10 minutes from the airport- no west Side traffic. Book #15- you won’t regret it! (They’re on Airbnb and VRBO, but could probably google the listing)

The people were so nice and the flat is really beautiful and is located very good with a small beach in front of it. We would definitely recommend it to others!

Right on the beach, away from tourist traffic. Five mile long Sandy Beach and super calm waters. Old Hawaii still exists, not a multi story soulless pink condo complex. Unit 23 is the best, recently remodeled with stellar ocean views.

Great central, quiet location - right on the beach. Had all the amenities needed for a great stay in Maui. A 2nd A/C unit in the living room (in addition to the one in the bedroom) wouldve made it perfect. Owners were friendly. Ample parking. Decor was was a little dated, but who cares.

It may not be luxurious as the big resorts. But your room is steps from the beach. There is a nifty bakery and a Hawaiian Ice place within easy walking range. It is also a quiet location because you a slightly off the main strip. The apartments the pretty nice and the WiFi is good!

Of course I am partial to Kihei Kai Oceanfront Condos because I work here and love it. Check out reviews and you will see why. Experience old Hawaii on Sugar Beach....

They are nice enough. A missing light bulb here and there, shower door is off the tracks. But the location is nice, the price is good, and the a/c is cold. At least, I the bedroom. Cant figure out how to turn it on in the living room.

If your looking for a quiet peaceful place to stay Kehei Kai is it! Not far from both downtown Kehei and tourist spots of Lahaina its a very nice small condo rental unit located on Sugar Beach. Quiet unlike some of the other larger condo in the area. In the middle of upgrades right now. Beachfront with a lawn for relaxing. Has a nice small pool. Wonderful rental and property staff.

Nice place and close to major roads. GOOD LUCK FINDING IT!!!! Directions and Google Maps was of little help.

I love the convenience of being right on the beach and having a private area to relax. The rooms are great, its nice to have a kitchen and cool place when not out and about.

We started for 5 days inn #21. Bananas growing within reach from the rail on our Lanai. As well as a Plumeria tree that was somewhat in bloom. Enough lol. Every morning the wall along the beach to ABC market, fruit stand and The Sweet Shop Bakery... NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING!!!!! Ron was great and worked tirelessly to keep the property cleaned up and nice. Ron was great!!! Everything we needed!!! And more!!! I will be back!!

Kihei (Cobra) Kai is the definition of PARADISE. Staying here was hands down the best decision my wife and I made for our Honeymoon. On our first day we were welcomed with custom authentic LAYS and delicious chocolate! We were made to feel so welcome here. The staff were very cool and offered advice on where to catch a quick bite. They were thrilled to have two young newly weds staying under their roof!The beach is quaint and peaceful, great for chilling on the sand and swimming among the waves. Theres also some cool crabs that chill out at night. You can walk for a few miles during the sunset and take in that Maui sunset in all its glory.The condo itself was modern, clean and homely. They have a cute little guest book where many have filled in some details about their trip. Some people just listed their itinerary (lol). One woman shared how she grew up there and how it was the house that built her (cool). We left a little entry as well!You can walk right out onto the ocean every morning/afternoon/night. Just amazing. There were also a few cats that chilled out and would come to visit for some petting sessions.For us, Kihei Kai was perfect because it offered a beautiful beachfront stay without the hullabaloo of the big resorts. Every park, excursion or beach we wanted to visit was close enough.Stay at Kihei Kai Oceanfront condos!

Kihei Kai was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. We arrived on a 4th of July, the local managers welcomed us as members of the family, with warm hugs, chocolates and exceeding all the expectations to make us feel at home. They even invited us to their own holiday BBQ, Paula and Ron youre the best! :-)The hotel accommodations are cozy, clean and very well maintained. We definitely felt it was our own apartment in Maui. They also have a Bbq area by the beach, a pool, great laundry facility that has a small library with books to borrow (great idea!)The hotel location is also convenient, with easy access to the highway that takes you to all Maui s attractions, an walking distance ABC store and a good size parking lot.Well definitely stay here again in our next trip to Maui, highly recommended!
