Rented a golf cart for a couple of days while we were staying at Leos Campground. They dropped it off, early👍, great customer service and communication. They also picked it up at the campground when we were done. Good people.

We rented through Papa Scooters directly through our hotel. The price was better then anything I had seen and the scooter was in great condition. Highly recommend using them!

We enjoyed our scooter rental experience. Day 1 was a learning day. It was a bit difficult since neither of us are experienced and we rode double. Day 2 was much easier. I recommend this company. The scooter was very slow and not made for two people riding. I selected “two people scooter” at the time of booking and I have driven scooters in key west before.This particular scooter was very slow and was hardly going above 25mph.Please check the scooters before you pay in advance. We went up to the facility asking for a different scooter but the lady said they are all 50cc and they currently don’t have any scooters available to exchange. The scooter was having bad suspension which made the ride uncomfortable. It wasn’t our primary source hence we were fine but not satisfied with the service. Not happy with the ride speed, power and condition of scooter. I booked for 3 days and I would suggest other people make sure you get what you paid for. We got a low grade scooter and the amount was non-refundable. Everything else was good but the scooter was not worth the money we spent on it.Edit - Thanks for responding. I am not able to respond to the reply from owner hence editing original response here - The full refund for rest of the days were not coordinated or notified via email and at the time of delivery. I only read non-refundable if canceled within 24 hours of booking date. I have driven scooters in Key West before and this one particular scooter was very SLOW. We both were under 400lbs. I did notify the lady within half an hour of receiving the scooter by driving to the facility and asking for a replacement. I was notified all scooters are same and there was no availability. I didn’t wanted to cancel my scooter and see what was available elsewhere at a higher rate while I booked this before the weekend at my desired rate. If I have had cancelled, I would have been stranded with no scooter because the ride I had was slower than rest of the scooters around us. Thanks for the heads up on communication, I will book the scooter carefully next time.

We stayed at Boyd’s campground where they delivered and picked up our golf cart so we did not need to work out those details. Golf cart worked great, it wasn’t perfect (gas gauge didn’t work) but they told me in advance what to expect so there we’re no surprises.

We had rented a 6 seater for a friend’s trip to Key West. Cart was delivered to our condo at Stock Island on time. Used it for 4 days to get around to everywhere. They even let us drop the group of at the airport then meet for pickup of cart off property by airport. Would definitely used them again for cart rental.

We have been going to Key West yearly for several years. We have always used Papa Scooters.The mopeds are good and service has been great.They drop off and pick up where you are staying.You cant beat that. Its a fun experience using mopeds to get around.

Located on Stock Island beside Key West, this the best deal on rental scooters that we found. They didnt pop up on recent searches when looking for scooter rentals (and there are SEVERAL), but somehow we found them by accident and got the absolute best deal around, easily saving almost $100 for a weeks rental on two scooters, compared to the best deal we found otherwise. Some places were as much as $2-300 higher for a week. Rental is very simple and only takes a few minutes. You need to be 18+ and have a drivers license. The scooters are Wolf 50s, looked fairly new and in good shape, and run fantastic. Super easy to operate. If that doesnt impress you, get this....we were told when we finished with them, just leave the keys at our hotel desk and theyd come get them free of charge. This is unbeatable service on any level, and I highly recommend them.

I reached out trying to rent a cart for a six seater and he responded right away asking when etc. then asked what I’m staying at, I expressed I was vacationing in Marathon and will be for the day. Automatically came back with he cannot fulfill my request. I then asked if he had a 4 seater, never responded to me. It saddens me that I couldn’t rent from them because I’m not at a hotel. Supposed if I lied about staying at a hotel I could have my request filled.

We booked our scooters while we were staying at Boyd’s RV Resort and the Papa Scooters team was great. They delivered the scooters to us, gave us instructions on use and safety as a reminder and Key West scooter law regulations and where to park while out and about.

Beware. Took a couples trip to key west and rented some scooters from Papa Scooters. The scooters were great and the delivery guys were professional and friendly. Upon leaving we parked the scooters where they had indicated and returned the keys to the concierge. Three days later I received a call from a Papa Scooters representative accusing me that one of the scooters had been damaged. She was extremely rude and even alleged that I was lying. They stated that the scooter was knocked over and had damage to include missing a mirror and brake handle. Luckily, I took pictures (date/time stamped) of the scooters prior to turning them in, showing them properly parked and undamaged. Problem is that no one checks the scooters upon return and then they call several days later to state that you damaged the scooter. Make sure to document and have someone inspect the scooter prior to returning to avoid them making false allegations. Update: Scooter was parked where and exactly as directed by both Papa Scooters and resort staff. As depicted in the photograph all the rentals (bikes, scooters & golf carts) were parked in the designated area, to include a sign stating Golf Cart Parking. Please refer to the photo metadata embedded in the image file (aka, time/date stamp). Never assume, blame, insinuate or accuse without having all the facts. Communication is key and as you can see from the owners response, customer service needs improvement. Customers shouldnt have to be on the defensive.

Highly recommend! Rented from this company twice in our week stay in Key West. Was able to schedule and do everything online. They delivered and picked up the scooters from our condo and were very prompt. Scooters were of good quality. Will 100% use this company again in the future.

We stayed at Boyds campground me and my son had the double seat scooters for the whole week we were there. Papas is walking distance to boyds they delivered the scooters to us at campground both guys were great help and nice guys that delivered the scooters.The scooters were black with nice digital gauges with no advertising on them like other sooter rentals. Both of our scooters looked like we owned them. They were in great cond and ran solid the whole trip and we put alot of miles on them. Next time we are there without a doubt i will be getting scooters from Papas!.

We have always rented from Papa Scooters, every time we come to Key West. This time they had new scooters which were really nice. Ours was very slow and we called, they said the may have been wet from the hurricane and brought us a different one. It ran great but was slow to start. We went to get on it after lunch, it wouldn’t start. The battery was dead. We called to tell them it stopped and they were rude and accused us of getting it too wet. The area was wet but we did NOT splash water when we went through. My feet never got wet. They said they would bring us another but we’re rude about it. I will never use them again. I suggest you go elsewhere also because when there is an issue they want to blame someone instead of handling the situation with respect.

My boyfriend and I rented a scooter for 24hrs. When we returned the scooter and placed the keys in the hands of an employee, he drove off without any concerns. A day later on our flight I get a voicemail that I have been charged $169 for damages... I called them up and asked for pictures of the damages. I never noticed these scrapes on the scooter but now I have been charged. I don’t believe these damages are from us OR that they were on the scooter when we handed in the keys, but the employee didn’t check at the time of return so there are 24hrs where anything could have happened to it and we have to take the blame. I tried contacting the company to further discuss this situation but have been ignored. I am sad and disappointed. In the duty to avoid these types of issues in the future, take a picture of your rental before you leave the rental location and have staff verify the condition of the rental upon return.

I’m not normally one for reviews but I felt necessary here. There are so many scooter companies in Key West, do NOT use this one. First the battery did not work and we were not able to use it for half the time. Then they came and picked it up early. A week after my trip, I checked my bank and we were charged $149 dollars for damages. No explanation of anything. When calling to speak with them, we spoke with the CEO who was absolutely nasty and arrogant and extremely unprofessional. He ended up hanging up on us. He called my fiancé a liar over and over and would not explain and said he’s the CEO and he doesn’t care what anyone else says. AVOID this company at all cost.

David was very accommodating. first day of rentals was with 2 scooters. One of the scooters I had Was cutting out pretty bad and died on us 4 different times. David came after hours to meet up with me to swap scooters out so we get back on track. Come to find out my gf was suffering from carpel tunnel really bad. We opted to swap out to a cart and david brought it to where I was and picked up the scooters no issues. I couldnt have asked for better customer service from him or his crew. My family rented 13 scooters from Papa’s Scooters and had a phenomenal experience. The price and customer service were outstanding! They delivered the scooters on time to our rental house and picked them up late so we could sneak in a few more rides. This was arguably the best thing we did during our seven days in Key West. We had two scooters break down on us and within five minutes (seriously, five minutes) a representative from the company was with us on the side of the road with a new scooter for us to drive away with. We rode these things for three days and had an absolute blast. I highly recommend Papas. If I go back to Key West, I’ll be picking up a scooter from them on day one.
