This is a family own business since 2006. Customer get upset when they receive a bill for Damages they have done to either the Scooters or Golf Cars, which have backup pictures and some even Police Reports. The company spends a lot of money and time updating the Cars and Scooters by replacing entire fleets that cost thousands of dollars, so everything looks presentable to the Customers. So when someone returns a unit (Cars / Scooters) with damages, they will get a bill for those damages. Customers are encouraged to take pictures and videos of the Cars and Scooters before they leave the property so there is no confusion when they are return back.

This place is running a scam take pictures of every side before you rent ! He tried to charge us for “ paint” smears and called them scratches we rubbed it off and he still tried to charge us ! We had a broken blinker light on the other scooter but we told them about it before we left the lot and he still tried to charge us ! He was nasty and mean we had to call the local police - they helped some but said it’s a civil case we took pictures and we told him we think he tries to do this to a lot of people and probably charging for the same scratches - to everyone !! be warned and take pictures people if you decide to rent from them - his daughter is very nice .. she tried to help ! But he is so mean it’s impossible to get him to listen .. in the end calling the police helped - but ruined our day and the fun we had !

We were given rental scooters with minimal damage to them, which was no problem, but the owner tried to scam us into paying for the damage when we returned them, plus there doesn’t seem to be serial numbers on some of the scooters. I’m sure he’s done this to other tourists. No pictures were taken or demonstrations or even a quick lesson on how to turn it on. Not much staff.

We deliver they say. Yes but Id they tell you 11 dont expect them until noon. Also check the equipment, our cart had no brakes and blinkers didnt work. It was also delivered with no gas. Trading the cart back out was another hour long ordeal with them saying yes, be there in one minute for 45 minutes Would strongly suggest a different place to rent.

They rented me a scooter that had a jammed in handle bars and the plastic broken in the front. after I brought this back in the same condition, they charged me $2500 to my card!Please do not trust this business they will try and rob you.I would rate them 0 stars if possible

This is the right place for your rental while on Key West!!! Best prices in town!!! Talk to Joan the owner 3 week before my arrival in Carnival cruise and he’s very pleasant and accommodating. Ex. Store open at 9:00 am he got there at the store at 8:00 and provide our rental so that we can enjoy the island since we make a short day stop at KW from 7:30 to 12:30. NEVER give this place your business...on the last day of our vacation I used the last of my money to rent these scooters for me and my girlfriend. Little did I know that the lying dirt bag of an owner would scam me saying I broke the scooter making me pay 2,000 dollars. The more I looked into it, this is not the first time he has done this and I don’t want it to happen to anyone else. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not go here.

Very competitive on the pricing and a very nice cart. Plus the free delivery and pickup while staying at Boyds Key West RV Resort made the process super simple. Im definitely renting again when we come back down for a visit.

NEVER rent from this dealer!! I dumped the bike near a stop sign, it fell on the front side and did leave scratches on the front bumper. No dent or other damage. Maybe a little paint. When I returned it to JG SCOOTER the owner wanted to charge me $280.00. I was extremely upset and even called the police. The police said once you sign the contract they can charge you anything they want, fair or not. Be forwarned. Staff is truly nice but the owner cares only for his money. Go somewhere else please.

Save yourself a trip to the hospital!! DONT RENT FROM HERE!I am not one to ever write a review, but my experience renting from this place was god awful. I tried to save money renting from them but it cost me more of a headache and would’ve rather rented from a competitor like HydroThunder who I previously rented from. I rented a scooter from Monday night until Friday. They were ever so kind to drop off the scooter at the military base, on Thursday coming back from breakfast the scooter broke down on me in the middle of the road, it just died, I checked the gas and it was fine. I called they brought me another one, they kickstand was broken on this one and I only noticed after they had already closed. They kickstand dragged when I would turn, I was turning into the marina, the kickstand was dragging so low it got caught on a rain drain grate, and me and my friend collided heads. It was an unpleasant experience, DO NOT RENT from them. I called to explain to them what happened and asked for a partial refund as they gave me 2 dysfunctional scooters, they said “we don’t do refunds”. Unpleasant experience, I learned I get what I pay for, the bikes are all scratched and broken. When I complained the woman on the phone went on about how I’m the first complaint in a year. They are operating dangerously with dysfunctional bikes, save yourself a trip to the hospital don’t rent from them.

We called to check prices. They were extremely reasonable. They said they could deliver them right to our campsite in approx 20 min. They showed up less than 10min later. Scooters were nice & we will definitely be renting from them again.

We dealt with the Simonton location and they were amazing! Yissele was fantastic and cared about us during our rental. She even checked in on us one of our days. They have the best deals in town and go over and beyond to make sure you have a great time.

Dont use this company, the worst service and when I gently complained they insulted me numerous times. They provide drop off and pick up, which is great if theyre on time. We had arranged for a pick up at 2:30pm at a specific spot. When they hadnt arrived but 3:41pm I called and the lady, Ada, said sorry but they were busy. I said I understood but simply would appreciate a call to arrange another time but she again said she couldnt but would be just a few minutes. At 5:19pm (yes, I have the receipt) the guy arrived to pick up. I politely helped him process the pick up but also complained that I had waited a very long time after our agreed upon pick up time. He instantly turned hostile and said two outrageously false and insulting things: that I hadnt put the cart at the right spot at the right time and even if I did, I only had to wait a couple of hours. All that was needed was a phone call from the company to reschedule their pick up and when they couldnt accept responsibility for this, they turned hostile and lied about our agreement. Would strongly advise against using this company, shouldnt be hard as there are many here.

Owner made us walk 1.2 miles to get a 2 person golf cart since they don’t deliver.. like they say they do on their signs and website. Make a 25 minute walk only to find out they are out of carts. Owner is a lying dirt bag take your business elsewhere.

We called about a 2 seater golf cart which they supposedly had. When we got there, they had all been rented out since it was the 4th of July week. They drove us over to yoan rentals where we were able to rent a shelby cobra 2 seater golf cart!

We were staying in Boyds campground and had no wheels so we called JGs. They had a two person scooter delivered to us within the hour, with a full walk through on how to operate it. Scooter was pretty new and worked great, we had a blast motoring around on it and they picked it up when we were done, so easy peasy. We didnt get helmets though, maybe they are an option, but should be considered if you will be going on the open road down to key west, where a lot of people are drinking and probably driving. Anyway, JG did a great job for a good price, highly recommend!
