5 stars isn’t enough! There isn’t ONE bad thing about this place! The people, the moped, and the price is better then you could ask for! I can’t believe how welcoming, helpful, and comforting a scooter rental place could be. The mopeds were perfect and so much fun! Whenever I come back I’m most definitely coming back here! On top of all that, there was cute kitties! How great?!? Love love love it all! I highly suggest trying one :) best experience all the way around!

Came down to Key West for vacation and needed a scooter rental last minute and Jess at Key West Moped helped us out with getting a double scooter for a couple of days at a great price and really made us feel at home and treated us like family here on the island, I even lost my debit card while on the island and Jess put me in touch with a local who found it! Great customer service and great people out here in Key West! I wouldn’t go anywhere else but here next time I visit.

By far one of the best times I had using the scooters and exploring key west and it’s true beauty. The scooter are great and the best thing was that you don’t have to pay for parking and they fill up the scooter with gas if you get low. Very friendly and very welcoming!!!!

Key West Moped was great to deal with, very friendly upon arrival, the cats were friendly too!!! We got our scooters quickly, and with a quick tutorial we were on our way. The scooters were great, no problems with them at all, and they helped us to enjoy the entire island of Key West. When we returned the scooters, again we were greeted quickly, after a quick check of the bikes, we were on our way, couldnt be easier. The shop was conveniently located next to our hotel, so it was a smooth transaction. I recommend Key West Moped for your time in the Old Town, and I will be using them again next time I come down. I used to take my moped to another shop for service. I was unhappy with the results so I figured I’ll try a new place. Key West Moped did not disappoint. Very professional and honest. They are definitely my go to from now on for service and I will highly recommend them to others for service or rentals!

My Mom and I had such a great time in Key West and Jessica helped us make the trip epic! She was kind and accommodated my Mom and I on so many levels! First, I mistakenly booked the wrong time but even on a busy holiday weekend she still moved our reservation to a time that worked for us. On top of that, she cared about our safety so much that she was honest with my Mom about being nervous to let her ride- but, instead of sending us packing, she fixed one of her out of service doubles so that we could still go have the day together on a scooter. Jessica was the BEST!!!

Highly recommend renting from here. This shop was the highlight of my trip! Jessica was professional and fun to talk to. Renting was easy and Jess made sure we had lessons before taking off. Rented mopeds as a last minute decision. We chose this place out of pure closeness little did we know we would have the best time of our trip. Tgb’s are nothing to mess with them two stroke rocket launchers beat everybody that challenged us. We lived a famous lifestyle as everybody who saw us envied us, people couldn’t do anything but clap and cheer as they watched 8 of these bad boys rip up the town of key west. So after we put on a jaw dropping show for everybody we got back to the owner who had heard of our newly rise to fame and simply stated I’m glad you and mopeds are alive. My scooter has been in the family for over ten years. It’s far from name brand (2008 Destin 149cc) and most shops won’t even service it.I was so lucky to find Key West Moped because they were willing to give it a shot!My first meeting with Jess and the owner Richard made me feel confident that they could get it running great again and man did they deliver. I also spent time with their expect mechanic, Rob, who took time to explain what repairs were made and why.It made me feel like my money had been well spent and now the scooter runs great!I would highly recommend Key West Moped and the team there.Thanks again for the wonderful experience!

Unsafe scooters.Ive rented much better scooters in 3rd world countries.They charge as much as you will pay for a car rental For a crppy beat-up old s mopad.Went here few days ago, the girl who checked me in was super hammered, this is one of the people responsible for my scooter being in good running shape. Scooters were in decent condition and the staff were pleasant. Expensive however. Go two blocks further south and hit up Sunshine if price is something youre worried about.

Leasing the scooter went smooth and the lady was very helpful. The condition report showed nearly 20 scratches dents and other items beforehand on the scooter. I brought it back and the front vendor was cracked. We didnt wreck as claimed by the worker. I suspect someone hit it parked while not in use. Doesnt matter. A piece of cracked plastic cost me $110. If you add up the total damagebefore I leased it, I bet they have paid for a new scooter with the damages they have charged others. Maybe business is slow and they needed to make money other ways. Worst experience renting scooters in over 20 years in the Keys. LEASE FROM Someone. Elsel!!! This will cost they hundreds and thousands of dollars in business over something petty.

TGB Race model scooters were perfect for the open road, ripping the keys up in style. Other scooter rental places called the owner of Key West Moped to tell him how good we looked around town and that everybody in downtown was talking about “The Key West Wheelie Bois”. 10/10 would stunt on the haters with Key West Moped again.
