Our stay at Havana Hideaway was perfect! The condo was clean, spacious, quiet, and relaxing. We had every amenity we needed from yoga mats and beach chairs to washer/dryer, dishes, and towels. The location was absolutely amazing! We were 3 minutes’ walk from Mallory Square, 10 minutes’ walk from Blue Heaven, 2 minutes to Duval Street, and right on the water. We could walk along the pier or along beautiful Emma Street. The neighborhood was beautiful and most importantly it was safe. The salt water pool was clean, large, and had plenty of seating any time of day. It was a great area to basque in the sun or watch a sunset! We will definitely be recommending this location to friends and family! Tim was available any time of day to answer our questions. Thank you Historic Hideaways! We hope to be back soon!”

Our first vacation since the pandemic and I just had to review this company and the owner of HH - I left a carry-on bag with valuables when we checked out of our rental and Historic Hideways ( Bill ) was so professional and caring. He not only located my bag but took the time to have it fedexed to me when I arrived home. Forever grateful for his prompt response and compassion when I was frantic! Loved this place until they charged my card $1,100. We checked out over a month ago. When I initially spoke to Tim I told him I wanted a place that everything was included under a budget of $190 a day but what he forgot to mention was this additional fee during our check in and after our final bill at checkout. So read the contract because hell find you something but forget to mention any other fees that come with the place

Met Tim upon our arrival - he greeted us warmly and allowed us to store our luggage in the office until the house was ready for us. The unit was available about an hour early which was great. Only a few blocks from the Seaport and Duval, we found it to be in a perfect location. Its far enough away from the noise, but close enough that no car was necessary. The house itself is wonderful with lots of character. The house was clean upon our arrival. Suficient cleaning supplies helped us keep it that way. We visited in July, so the pool saw plenty of use (plenty of towels). Another reviewer wrote that he wished there were cold beers in the fridge - he is right; that can be arranged (and we did)! We were a party of 8 adults so the the twin bedrooms were not ideal, but we knew what we were getting when we reserved. But the rest of the house more than made up for it. By all accounts, the house was perfect. We will all be back.

We recently stayed at the Duval Street Suite for five nights. It was wonderful. Well taken care of clean never had a problem. The service they gave us was wonderful. Booking, check in and check out was a breeze. We loved being able to sit out on the balcony and watch all the things going on, people coming and going. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas!

The home was lovely--great location, gorgeous pool, and backyard like paradise! Most importantly, dog-friendly although the local cat didnt seem aware of that. The kitchen stove was a little odd for me to use. It had to be lit as it uses propane. I left the lighting to my husband as I am not fond of igniting stove/fires. The one drawback to the house is that for the heat of late May or summer, the A/C cannot handle the back bedroom or bathroom. It got quite hot a couple of days. It was warm most other days, but we like the warm weather. This is the only major issue we had with the home. We love the one level living and the porch was perfect for dining. (There is even a second patio that we didnt use.) There were a couple of issues when we first got there, e.g., the hot water didnt work in the outside shower. We told Tim, of Historic Hideaways, and it was fixed immediately.

Check in (we were able to get in early) and check out were a breeze. Accommodations were clean and as advertised. Our unit had a private elevator that stopped working about half way through our stay. Called rental agency around 9 AM and elevator was fixed before noon.

Comfortable beds. Back patio and pool private and relaxing. The house had everything we needed (minus an iron). Close to restaurants,a grocery and the beach. Just a short walk to Duval. Would definitely stay here again.

The Ann Street Garden unit was great. The location could not be beat, and the home itself was private, quaint, quiet, and clean. We requested the late check-in service and it went very smoothly. The outside light and a couple of lights inside were left on for our arrival. We thought that was a nice touch. We enjoyed the private patio, the separate bedroom, and cute kitchen area. They have just about everything stocked that you could need; hairdryers, iron, all the kitchen gadgets to make a fun drink or a meal too. Ill reiterate that the location can not be beat. Literally around the corner from Upper Duval, but in a very peaceful location. We really enjoyed our stay at the Ann Street Gardens and hope to make a return trip much sooner than later!

Beautiful house, lovely neighbors, absolutely has everything anyone would need in the kitchen! the porches are delightful in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. This gem is just far enough away from Duval Street so you can escape the noise, and still close enough to walk to! Cant beat the cabana, either :-). The House Book was a great help, and the history-unbelievable!!!

Kemp House - Paradise!!! This is a great house in an ideal location. From the moment you opened the door you felt like you were at home!! We had 6 adults and were very comfortable. Everyting we needed was provided and Historic Hideaways was extremely helpful with any and all of your questions/needs. I would highly recommend this house. I know we will be back as soon as we can!! Thank you for an GREAT experience!!!

We rented a great property at a reasonable price, and had a wonderful time! The concierge service before we arrived was super convenient to arrange for bike delivery, tee times, and recommendations for things to do while in town. Well definitely be using them again the next time were in town.

Tim from Historic Hideaways hooked us up big time. We stayed at the old steam plant witha private rooftop pool. Plenty of room and privacy. Tim was very professional and easy to deal with. Made sure everything I needed was taken care of. I definitely will use them again!

This home was great, for the most part. Location was fabulous, central to everything. The house had everything you need (except a can opener... we left one as our contribution). The private pool is great...used it almost daily. We would have no problem staying here again. The neighbors were nice, but a little noisy the entire week.

Rose Cottage rented through Historic Hideaways.My husband and I loved this home, it was beautiful and close to everything so walking wasnt a problem. It was so nice to come home after a day seeing the sights and relax on the deck surrounded by wonderful landscaping.Tim at Historic Hideaways was extremely helpful making our rental, check-in and check-out smooth and efficient.

Clean and friendly

Like the others say, Tim is awesome! He helped us find the perfect place, just off Duvall. The house (Conch Clubhouse) was great, the check in/out process was easy. No complaints. Will stay with Historic Hideaways again!

We were looking for a private getaway from the kids and Ann Street Gardens delivered. We couldnt be happier with the cottage. We got into town on a Sunday, but Tim and his folks made it painless to get the key. We caught up on Monday and finished the paperwork. The house was very clean and neat upon arrival. The A/C was on, the fans slowly turning and we immediately felt at home. If only there had been cold beer in the freezer... but Im sure that could have been arranged. We brought our bicycles and had room on the porch to park them off the street. We wholeheartedly recommend bikes in Key West, by the way. The only complaint, albeit minor, was the pool is unheated and this time of year a bit chilly. Not HHs fault since Ann Street Gardens is part of a home owners association. Stay here. Youll love it.

118 Admirals lane was a great rental, close to Duval but still in a quiet secluded location. The house itself was very comfortable and felt more homely than some rentals I have stayed in whilst in Key West.I would highly recommend this property.

Our stay at the Duval street hideaway was fantastic. It puts you right in the middle of everything. Fantastic restaurants and nightlife are just steps away. The townhomes are immaculate and well furnished with everything you will need for a weeks stay in Key West. The great thing about this location is that even though you are in the middle of all the action you will still get a good nights sleep because of the private lcoation of the townhomes. We would definitely return to this rental property.

I called to inquire about a vacation rental and they were too busy to help me. Thank goodness there are other rental companies that WILL respond.
