Husband and I went out for our honeymoon for 6 hours deep sea fishing. We caught 2 mahi, 6 black fin tuna (could only keep 4) We really enjoyed our charter. Definitely will be fishing again!

Captain Kelly, Havana Dan, and Chef Josh were an amazing crew on the Havana Moon! A group of 12 of us went out for 6 hours, 2-8pm and it was a perfect amount of time. We were able to sail around the keys and took in a gorgeous sunset. We had all the music, drinks and tasty food we could want. Captain Kelly was able to share his fun facts of the area as we toured. Highly, highly recommend these guys and this key west experience!

Going on the Havana moon Was absolutely amazing I have traveled all over the Caribbean and that was one of the best things I’ve ever done. Captain Kelly captain Graham and Captain Dan did an amazing job Of making us feel right at home on the boat and like it was ours. We had a great time fishing catching mahi that they cooked up within hours of us catching and at night shark fishing with the carcasses. It is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience and I recommend it to anyone looking to relax and have some fun. Everything they cooked was absolutely amazing and they did a great job making everything we did fun.We are currently planning our next trip to do it again.

Our day trip to the Dry Tortugas on the Havana Sky with Captain Andrew was fantastic. We had received a last minute cancellation with a seaplane reservation and it seemed we would not be able to visit Fort Jefferson. However, Key West Charter Boat came through for us in spectacular fashion. The boat was clean, comfortable, and fast, and Andrew was highly skilled and very pleasant to be with. We highly recommend this company.

This was an absolutely incredible experience! I highly recommend these guys. Chris was really easy to work with throughout the process, presenting us with several catamaran charter options for our trip. We ended up finding a bareboat charter option and hiring a skipper to take us out for a day of sailing, fishing, stand-up paddle boarding, and just good clean fun! What a wonderful experience!!! Key West Yacht Charter arranged for a trip with Captain Andrew and Chris on a beautiful 60 foot yacht. From the time we arrived until the end of the day they catered to the four of us. The ride was so smooth, Captain Andrew and Chris were so charming and gracious and even the food they presented was perfect! We had such a lovely experience that we felt spoiled beyond belief! They were even able to recommend a restaurant that we ended up eating at the same evening and it was top notch. Wow, what an amazing trip!!! One of the best vacations ever! Beautiful scenery, Fun times snorkeling, jet skiing, swimming and hanging out at the sandbars. Met so many great people from all over the globe. Captain Chris was so on top of it, planned almost everything for me. All I had to do was show up and have a good time. We booked the charter as an unexpected addition to our Florida Keys trip. We had an incredible three day two night experience aboard the Havana Moon. Captain Kelly, Justine, and Josh the cook took very good care of us. Some of the highlights were watching dolphins as we traveled, visiting Ft. Jefferson after the crowds had left, snorkeling at “Little Africa” at Loggerhead key, and catching sharks while fishing off the back of the boat. It felt like we were gone for a week. The trip exceeded expectations and we had an unforgettable time with our kids.

We had such an amazing experience with Captain John. We did a evening trip because of the weather in the morning. Once we made it to the “fishing spot” 😍, John made sure we all had a chance to fish. We caught so many fish too!!First time out on charter and we will most certainly be back in the summer to go out again.

Key West Charter Boat is absolutely the best charter company in Key West! They took us on an amazing multi night charter down to the Dry Tortugas. This was a great trip with a great captain and crew. My family and I will definitely be booking again. Captain Kelly and his crew are now part of our family. We snorkeled the reefs at loggerhead key and toured the fort. We could have spent more time out there exploring but we had to come back to the real world. Captain Kelly tucked us in tight at boca grande key and we had a wonderful night watch the sharks patrol the channel. We can’t wait to go again and explore more!!

What an AWESOME Time we had with Captain Sean and First mate Joe. The ride out to our fishing spot was absolutely beautiful, we fueled up at a marina that had all kinds of fun boats to look at, went by a few cruise boats, we came out of port and saw the beautiful beach to our left. Once we got to our destination spot Joe started dropping lines and almost immediately we had a fish on the line, they kept coming one by one at a really nice steady pace. Both guys were professional and fun at the same time, Sean took a lot of time to tell us about the area as we were traveling. Once we got back to the dock Joe filleted all of the 6 Mahi Mahi that we caught. there was so much fish to feast on. when we got back to our Villa we cooked it 3 different ways, Grilled, Blackened, and Broiled, there was so much we ate it for 3 days, as you can see in one of the photos we had fish tacos the next day. My husband and I being experienced boaters and have many friends from Rochester NY that are professional charter captains, I feel we are a pretty good critic, I Give Cowboy Charters a 10 FIN score, I wouldnt have changed a thing. We did a quick half day trip but had a great time catching fish. When we came up on 12-13 foot hammer head, the Capt put us right on top of him. Our first mate quickly made bait from one of the fish in the cooler and dropped it right on the hammer. We didn’t land it but got to see that beauty right off the back of the boat! Great time with some skilled anglers!

What a wonder-filled introduction to the beautiful clear waters of the Keys! Chris was so genuine, friendly and communicative, while Captain Lynsi couldn’t be better! From guided back water tours, to playing with our kids, she ensured our trip was exactly what we asked for. This was a perfect excursion and we look forward to doing it again! Highly recommended!

We had an amazing time on and off the boat. From the booking until the end of our trip, we received an A1 service. They organized everything for us: transportation, grocery, etc Our crew, a captain and a chef, were excellent. The catamaran was very clean and well equipped. Nothing to criticize. This crew was amazing. Reefs and Margaritas was a lot of fun. I was really impressed by how well the crew monitored the people in the water. To top things off, the crew fireman carried our 87 year old into the water and floated with her so that she could also see this beautiful reef.

Amazing experience. We sent our wives on a beach cruise and they had John as their Captain. We chartered a boat to go to the Dry Tortugas. We went out with Captain Robert and Justin. They were the nicest and most helpful crew we’ve ever had. The captain was born and raised in KW and you can tell. He’s a wealth of knowledge from the fort to the underwater marine life. He also took us to a shipwreck, that’s was amazing, and Loggerhead island. I highly recommend these guys!

A truly professionally run fishing charter co. They made our trip a memorable one. From the ease of booking, to checkin and boarding all the staff members really had a great attitude. The captain who expertly operated the boat, the two mates Tommy and Kyle were fantastic, in between unhooking fish for anglers they took no down time as I watched them engage with all the customers and spend a little extra time giving advice to the more inexperienced on the trip. Cowboy charters took us out for a 1/2 day fishing excursion and we were able to catch Spanish and king mackerel! They filleted the fish for us as well. I would definitely recommend using them for a fishing excursion.

Captain Chris did an exceptional job locating us a private charter at the last minute. We booked on the Floridays sailboat. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had on a vacation. I will recommend this to anyone who visits Key West.

A quick overview:We were in Key West for lobster and we ended up renting a boat. We did really good on lobsters, so the day after lobster season we decided to go offshore fishing. You can’t go to the keys and not catch a mahi. Long story short our rental boat started taking on water, and we were about 15 miles offshore. We ended up making it back to dryland in our rental boat where it sank at the dock. Obviously it was a traumatic experience for all of us. Unfortunately, we still had the urge to catch mahi-mahi even after this experience.Upon talking to our boat rental owner, we were issued a refund (obviously).It was 5 PM on a Friday, then we decided we still wanted to go fishing. I tried calling every charter, and because it would be a Saturday that we wanted to go everyone was booked solid. Chris at Key West Charter Boat found a afternoon trip to take us all fishing, where we landed a sizable mahi. I just want to take the time to say thank you to Chris, Sharky, and Taylor for not allowing us to go home from our vacation in the keys with a negative and bad experience. Taylor worked his butt off for us and I’ve never had a mate as good as him on a fishing charter. Sharkey was a great captain, tour guide, and comedian. And Chris was awesome with checking in about our trip and getting us scheduled.We now know for next time, we will rent a boat to go lobster, but will go fishing with Key West Charters. The boat was clean, large, and had great air-conditioning. We all left Key West, happy, and joking about the terror we experienced the day before thanks to Chris, Taylor and Sharky.
