Nice job and the semi re-fit on the old white Mongoose, folks!!I brought my very old Mongoose mtn bike in for numerous repairs. Sun and salt and our wonderful humidity beat our bikes up on the island. The bike rides like a dream. Rented a bike there for a few days. Pleasure to deal with. Courteous and go out of their way to help. Had 2 bikes with me and they put air in the tires and oiled the chains. Also, brought back their bike with a flat tie and not only did they not charge me, they took a rental day off. Would definitely use again!

Bright and well stocked! Never pushy on the sales floor and they have everything! Needed a random trike part and the guy said hold on......then out from the back he returns with my part that amazon charges double for and a week shipping.

We were visiting Key West by yacht and our E-Bike experienced a failure. The closest Bike Shop was The Bike Shop Rentals. It was a quick pedal to their location on Truman Ave where I was met by a cheerful gentleman who checked-out the problem . He asked me to bring it in and to my amazement he had the part and the tools and in 20 minutes I was ready to depart. I could not be happier. This was a very positive experience and I want every reader to know that this is a friendly place, staffed by professionals and a shop with a complete line of repair parts and tools. The prices were lower than I expected and there was a wall full of various parts for repair or dressing up your favorite bike.

Greatest spot to buy a bike, or get repairs, on the island. Super accommodating staff with no hard core sales approach. They really run a great shop, and stopping in is always a positive experience.

This place is amazing!!! The staff DOES NOT disappoint. I brought my bike in with my OCD disorder 😞 and in my mind this was the end of the world. RILEY and A.J. completely assured me, they could take care of it. They could see I was truly in panic mode, struggling with my mask on. They were so kind, and patient with me. They test drove the bike, explained to me what the issues were, told me my options. I was back on my bike within 20 minutes and back to breathing normal. They are totally GREAT at what the do. I was so impressed with my smooth ride, I went back for some cool accessories! ❤️ I love my bike! I truly appreciate your help and patience guys! Truly an exceptional customer experience!!!

Very personable and courteous. Went in looking for a new bike but was told that due to issues related to COVID-19, none of the suppliers are able to ship product. Apparently most bikes come from China. Still a very pleasant visit.

Simply put, I LOVE the bike shop! Best service, best prices, quick and easy visits. Unfortunately, I get alot of flat tires and they always quickly get me back on my way. One time, i kid you not, I had the back tire replaced and the very next day the front tire was flat....lol. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy. They really love their jobs. They also give you pricing up front if needed and help find you the best deal on your bike repair, parts, service, etc. That kind of customer service cant be beat! Apparently they rent bikes too: daily or weekly (I read the sign the last time I was there). They also sell brand new bicycles, lights, cup holders, baskets and accessories for your bike! Head to the Bike Shop!

Down in Key West for a couple of days. Stopped in for a couple of bikes to get around the island. Great experience all around. Great bikes and great service. Dont bother looking anywhere else. Those dudes without a doubt are the coolest, friendliest, best service, for a bike shop in town. Never feel ripped off although the quality stuff can add up. Actually buy there instead of Amazon (although cost more) because of the many times they filled my tires with air and many they greased or safety inspected my bikes for free! They were hustling to close yesterday and still took time to put air in my riding partners and my bike, AND, gave us an adapter when i mentioned we needed to buy one for free!

Our bikes have a very hard life here and The Bike Shop keeps them rolling. These guys are friendly, efficient and more than fair. Its a happy place that does good work.

Wow I just had this business blow me off as a customer needed help. How sad I bought a $500 plus bike from them a little over a year ago for my wife. She hurt her knee the early part of summer so she has not been able to ride it. I was told when I bought it to have it serviced every year or so. So I just called and ask if I could get that done since she is now able to ride. The guy pretty much just blew me off. They are very busy and dont have time to help me. I tried to explain I was in no hurry, and ask if I could make arrangements to have it picked up and serviced at a later date but was told to call a cab to bring it to them or do it my self. Im a disabled Vet on a mobility scooter and my car is not big enough to get a 3 wheel cruiser in it. Funny they had no trouble delivering it when I bought it.Im so sorry I bothered them and funny Eaton bike is happy to help me with this request. Not today as its Fantasy Fest but next week is fine.My suggestion dont do business with the bike shop and expect any follow up customer service.Their competitor was much more helpful. Sorry I spent my $$$ at the wrong store.

I being the brains of the operation that I am bought beach cruisers for her birthday while we lived in Pennsylvania, needless to say we didnt ride them. We took our bikes to the bike shop and encountered the friendliest most unbelievably helpful staff Ive encountered since we have been in key West. Long story short our bikes are tricked out and I would love to buy the guys there a beer. In key West go to The Bike Shop on Truman, Ave!

Got me right in for a tire repair. Friendly people, easy to work with.

Yesterday my tire blew out because I had made a mistake and over inflated it from the gas station pump. They seemed really great at first, got me in and out super fast. They came recommended from a lot of my good friends. Then, a few hours later I went back and asked them if they could check my back tire. I told them I had inflated them both at the gas station, it felt a little over full, and I was going to be down town with friends for a birthday party and I didnt want the tire to blow on me. He literally poked it with one finger, said, nope, you should be fine, and left it at that. I reiterated that I was just concerned because I had done the same thing to the back tire as the front tire, and it would really be awful to have to deal with an exploded tire on Duval St. He said again I was fine. Well, tire exploded. Thankfully I wasnt on it when it happened, it was parked outside. I went in this morning. The first time they werent open even though it was 10 minutes after their posted opening time. The second time, the guy was super dismissive and asked me what I wanted. I told him what I really wanted was for them to fix it, but I didnt think I should have to pay for it, because I had already brought it in to have this situation avoided. He said nope, not gonna happen, turned around and shut the door in my face. I will never go back. Ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ever.

Always positive individuals at this shop. Because of a negative experience I had elsewhere, Im stoked that I can count on this shop for not only excellent work, but zero negativity in the house.

Great staff, good prices. We wish we could have gotten a geared bike rather than a cruiser but not a huge deal.

I have rented bikes from them twice already and each time they have been super nice. Remember to lock your bikes and remove your light when not using it. The homeless will steal them and try to sell them back for money.

I have been meaning to write this for months. Bought 3 bikes there totaling over $6000. Originally just went to by my wife a nice hybrid and ended up buying myself one as well as a Trek Madone road bike, along with my wifes. The sale went great, hence buying far more than I planned. The two bikes I bought needed to be ordered and the helpful sales men told me (on Monday) that they would be in Thursday or Friday. He called Trek while I was there to confirm the order and the ship date and we left happily. Thursday came and went and I didnt hear anything. This is Key West so I expect a bit of a relaxed attitude. Friday came and still no call. So, I decided to stop by Friday after work to check on things. When I asked them if my bikes were ready, some snotty kid behind the counter replied by laughing at me for expecting them to be there and to be done. Being used to dealing with incompetence in Key West, I just ignored it and asked to speak with the manager. The kid went upstairs, fetched another kid who preceded chastise me for being there without a phone call first. When I told him the salesman and Trek both told us the bikes would be here, he too laughed and told me not to expect them for another week. It was another week and a half before I was called to pick up my bikes. The computers I bought werent installed, pedals still in the box, and the same snotty two kids actually completed the entire transaction without speaking a word. It wasnt until a month later I found out this was the regular practice. Work off your money to pay last weeks bills until next weeks income comes in. The funny thing is, I would have been fine had they just said sorry man, we forgot to order. It was the insults and the laughing. The one value in this is that they will soon be gone, victims of attrition due to island-wide known poor service. Great product, awful service. I cant stress enough to stay away but if you cant pay with credit cards only and dont order. Buy only what is in stock.

I came to Kwy West on holiday and I rented a bike here. The price was very reasonable (12 USD for more than 24 hours), the bike was good, and the staff was really nice.

This is the second time weve rented from these folks they are great. A real pleasure to do business with, good bikes well maintained they couldnt have done a better job of making the Key West experience a pleasure.
