Such a good experience every time we go through these guys. The people are super friendly and they share very valuable fishing knowledge. This was our first time Mahi fishing and we couldnt have been better set up. We only come to these guys now. Thanks for the great time guys. We will see you again.

Went when it was full so they made a spot for us mid day but the larger boat for 8 people was not ready to go out so they gave us 2 smaller boats. One of the boats was out of gas mid day but it wasn’t really a problem since we were heading back anyways. Elvis was of great help when we were heading out. Fair price compared to others around which were fully booked. Like $495 for 4hrs for larger boat not adding fuel and etc. Pretty fun, water very salty.

We went the day before to select our rental, complete the paper paperwork, and pay the deposit. We arrived the next morning only to see our boat filled with another family pulling away from the dock. No apology or attempt to rectify. They simply returned the deposit and sent us away. Our kids were devastated.We scrambled to find another company. Across the street in the State Park they rent boats. It ended up working out great. The boats in the State Park were much nicer, cheaper, and included fuel.Its great that things worked out in the end for us, but renter beware.

The service was outstanding, we rented last minute the sunset cruise (3 hrs) but the boat wasn’t ready when we arrived, they offered a great discount and we had a blast on their 21’ aquarsport. Will visit again. Thank you Stefanie and Gabriel

Had an amazing time at this gem in Key Largo. Jesse was most accommodating and his assistant Tim was so helpful. It truly felt as if we were on a vacation for the day. There was something for everyone to do- from lounging on the beach chairs listening to music, to riding the jet ski, fishing and taking a boat out. They are family friendly and I will definitely bring my family back again! Thank you, Jesse!

DO NOT GO HERE! Save yourself the headache and waste of money. They over charge for poor service and horribly cared for broken down boats and the owner is extremely rude. Our boat had no navigation, no radio, no dive flag, seats were torn up dials cracked and knobs missing. They do not know how to run a business, if you do ask for a refund they will try to intimidate you or keep you parked in, etc. All the other reviews are true. Save yourself a bunch of time and go to A1A rentals. We went there after a horrible experience here and A1A charged half the price for a better boat, that actually had navigation, a radio, and full ice cooler ready to go. Plus at A1A they were actually nice to the customers. But whatever you do stay away from this place, you’ve been warned.

We had a great experience with Jesse and the team. We did a 24 hour rental and camped out on North Nest Key. Unfortunately, we became concerned that we misjudged the fuel we had so we sent Jesse a text asking if he thought we had enough fuel. He said dont worry. Come morning he showed up on the island with fuel and breakfast in hand just so we didnt have to worry. Thank you for a great experience!

The customer service at this place is phenomenal. Another company cancelled on me the day before our rental and so I called Key Largo Boat Rental and they were so very helpful and accommodating. They go above and beyond to make your day special. They even bought my mom a birthday cake! I definitely recommend to try this place.Thank you to all the employees who were so helpful!!

DO NOT RENT HERE. We paid for a 23ft key west and they told us when we got here that they overbooked us. They overbooked the next three people in line and charged one randomly for it being Father’s Day but none of the others. They tried to charge us for tax twice and the guy in front of us paid for tax twice. Our boat they did have was definitely not sea worthy. It was the nicest on the lot and it was terrible. The trim didn’t even work, the fuel gauge didn’t work. They then said we used a full tank of fuel WHEN IT DOESNT WORK TO SEE IT way way overpriced. The motor only worked around 50 percent it made terrible engine noises when you tried to push the throttle down. Cannot believe this place. Do not give them your credit card info. THEN they had a car parked behind us blocking us in and said we will move it when you pay fuel charge. No. Terrible. Never left a bad review until this one.

Very bad experience with this business, boats are in horrible condition. They promise one boat when you reserve and then when you get there they give you a different one. When I was there a man behind the counter that said he was the owner, was yelling at a group of women, Im going to guess they had the same issue we did.

Made my day!!!! Long story short, I wanted to get out in the middle of the day to do some fishing in the keys. After driving down to Key Largo, I came across KLB. My intention was only to rent some gear and fish from random spots on the bank but these guys had an offer I could not refuse!After taking out the boat to fish the channels and open water, I came back with 20+ fish on my line. There is no way I could have done this from the shore without any planning.Thank you so much for making my vacation and day!

Just rented a boat today and when we were leaving was told by some of the staff they werent sure if the boat was sea worthy. They said miss communication and it was good to go. On the way the boat was at full throttle and barely moving. 15 minutes later the boat breaks down. Called the boat company and one of their guys came out to try and fix the boat and looked at the prop and said the way it was bent and damaged he wouldnt have rented it out. He further said that something was wrong with the intake and it wasnt cooling. While stranded another rented boat from the same place stopped and said they were having the same trouble with theirs and had to go very slowly and were returning. After being stranded for 2 hours they sent an 11 person max boat to swap our boat with 14 of us.When we got back the owner tells me that we ran aground and broke the prop and it was my fault the boat stopped working and to pay the full day plus gas where we literally had the boat for less than half a day because we were stranded for most of the time. After explaining to the owner that the boat broke down 15 minutes after leaving in the channel and we definately did not run aground he told me take your family and leave. I tried explaining that we didnt run aground and his voice raised again saying just take your family and leave.Ive been boating for over 30 years and having owned boats for several years and renting boats for the last 3 and have never in my life experienced such unprofessionalism from anyone especially from the owner of a company. I must say the only positive thing is their staff was very nice and helpful. The ones that witnessed the owners rudeness looked shocked at his behavior and Im sure lack of professionalism.Lessons ... check the prop before you leave, check the life jackets (there were only 4 for 14 people, we had to ask for more), make sure the gas guage works (ours didnt), check the engine to make sure the cooling water is pumping (ours wasnt which is why the engine stopped).

Literally the worst experience- I have to start with the ending… they blocked our car in the parking lot and demanded we had to pay for fuel before leaving… fuel gauge didn’t work we asked about it before we even left the dock because it was on E, and how to refill before returning- and they said ahh it’s full & and then told us things like you can’t go here or here, “didn’t he tell you that in the office?” When went to the office to leave they said.. ahh 11 gallons.. had NO IDEA the most Unprofessional place in the world, we had to get a guy that was swimming off the dock to move the 2 cars blocking us in??? - We paid for a full day boat rental a month in advance. We arrived to a place that was no longer In service, owner said they bought the company we rented from and gave us the new address. We arrived to find the boat we rented was “rented out to someone else” & and they would find a replacement. The replacement was UNSEAWORTHY at best- engine ran at 60% Capacity, trim didn’t work so we couldn’t navigate the different depths with Comfort, speakers were missing, fuel gauge didn’t work at all, no radio, boat’s interior had cracks and looked not to be well taken care of…. Don’t rent from them!!!

Any dog lovers should cancel this place, they have a pitbull puppy that has escaped a few times almost being hit by cars, when we went into the business the dog was tied without shelter or water. The second time we went to check on the dog he was inside a too small crate with broken hard plastic in it and the owners came outside yelling at us that we were trespassing. We called the cops and animal control was notified. There are better rental businesses in Key Largo run by good people.

They need staff desperately, the idea is awesome, the location and facility is perfect. Needs a lot TLC, the boats and jet ski were fabulous.

Amazing experience! I was so nervous about renting a boat with my husband and children, but the owner Gabriel and the staff made us feel so comfortable and safe. They explained everything about navigating the boat, where to find the best spot to hang out, and how to anchor safely. Everyone was so friendly it almost felt like we were amongst family. We took our English bulldog and she loved it! The kids fell in love with boating...It was an awesome day. Will definitely be coming back very soon! And next time we will be tubing!

What a great place to rent a boat from...had an amazing day with the family yesterday thanks to key largo boat rentals. They helped us with our bags made sure we were going to have a great trip. The staff was friendly and very attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking for a fun day out on the boat. Saying this place is poorly run, is an understatement. The boat we got was is in very bad shape, they over charge, theyre rude to customers, stay far away from this place.

One of the worst boat rental agencies I’ve ever seen. Had a rental from 9am-5pm. Got there and they showed us the boat we had. A beat up center console that looked like it was salvaged from Hurricane Sandy. We get on and we notice that the boat is sitting low. The entire bottom of the boat had 4inches of water in the bottom. As soon as we see that, a guy comes walking down the dock with some bilge pump, with a wire going to a car battery and a shop vac hose taped to it and said “here is the bilge pump for the boat.” We then realize that the wires are only scotch taped together....well needless to say the bilge pump didn’t even work.The guy said “well I’m not sure what’s wrong with it, I literally just pumped it out last night.” The only thing I could think was that the boat had that bad of a leak? Well we ended up having to goto west marine and buy a hand pump to get the water out ourselves. We got the water out and proceeded to get going and we started the motor. The motor would only turn hard over left. It only turned like 10 degrees to starboard. So I had to like 3 point turn it out of the dock. I was backing up and the engine stalls out. Get it fired back up and proceed to make our way from the dock. We see the engine moving so we looked at the motor bracket.......it was cracked all the way around....we just said forget it at this point and said “if it sinks, it sinks.” We throttled the boat up and it wouldn’t even get on plane. We moved all beach bags, dive gear, cooler and people up on the bow. We even tried jumping on the bow trying to get it to plane out. Nothing. Full throttle it would only go 12MPH. We turned around and went to the dock. We got back and asked for our money back. He referred us to another boat.....this gets interesting...We get to the boat and the owner tried selling us on the stereo system and GPS. We just say the heck with it and go. Within one hour, the windshield fell out. No screws were in it, so we had to hold it in place the entire day. The GPS wouldn’t turn on. The boat was wet as heck. Stereo system sounded like an AM station on Bluetooth....then the prop started to spin itself “somehow didn’t spin the bushing.” Then it almost stalled out 4 miles off the coast. Rod holders were flopping around, no gas gauge, not enough life jackets, and the list goes on.We got back to the dock and told him how we felt and what did he do? He said “here’s $20 back.” Like are you kidding me? We lost two hours of our 8 hour rental, bought a $50 pump for YOUR boat, had to move things around constantly between boats, had to hold a windshield in place, and all you could offer was $20 back? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. WORST COMPANY IN THE ENTIRE STRAIGHTS OF FLORIDA.

We decided to rent half day last minute and we’re welcomed. We called another company first and they refused to let us going out after 1P. So we made it here and were thrilled by the service and best fishing spot advice. No hassle, no pressure, great price and service! We will be back soon.

My girlfriend and I attended the Valentine’s Day event, as we were also celebrating her birthday. To say it was amazing is an understatement. We were treated as if we were celebrities in true V.I.P fashion. Live music with great food and an ambience that was truly special. Needless to say, under the moon and the stars, on the beach by the sea, we had a memorable night and my girlfriend was absolutely delighted. Terrible Experience!!!! Actually Quite Shocking!!! Im suprise the owner Jesse is in Business. He delivered our boat late and not only late.....it was covered in Maggots. The smell of fish on the carpet and under the seats was unbearable. It is super obvious that he doesnt clean and sanitize the boats and he doesnt follow the Covid-19 Guidelines. Theres more to the story, but I think the Maggots is enough. Jesse is Unprofessional and He should be Shut Down!!!!

Jesse and Tim were wonderful from telling us where to fish to installing a new GPS on the boat I wanted and letting me take a different boat until the job was done. I asked Jesse where I could take my family to watch fireworks for the new year and he invited the 4 of us to his beautiful beach front marina with his family and close friends for a private party (pig roast). I would highly recommend doing business and renting from him again. They really now how to make you feel comfortable and have a great time on your vacation! Great prices for multi day rentals as well. I shopped around before renting from here and it was the best price I could find.Thanks again to everyone at Beach Boat Rentals Key Largo! We tried to rent a boat from these guys.. We gave them a $200.00 deposit over the phone the day before. When we showed up to take the boat out it wasnt working and they knew it wasnt working from the night before but never called us. Jessie said he would refund my card but after a couple weeks of waiting for my refund it never showed up. Ive called him twice now and he always promises to refund my card but he never does. Its been over a month. Seems like a nice enough guy but Im still out $200.00 and having to dispute the charge through my credit card. Avoid these guys like the plague. I would give 0 stars but Google doesnt give that option.

We rented a boat very last minute from Gabriel. He was extremely kind and service was fantastic. He was extremely polite and had everything we needed from bait to hooks and of course the boats. He even gave us some suggestions on fishing spots. Definitely not our last time coming here!!!

This guy knows how to make you feel important. Very approachable. I used his 17 Angler to take my son and wife fishing. They both had a blast. The 4 stroke engine ran perfectly and comfortably. We were given safety equipment and were able to buy bait and fishing gear there. Jesse was kind enough to offer some nice fishing spots. Definitely going back.

Great place. Great customer service. Both Gabriel and Jesse were awesome. Gabriel explained the map, and general boating rules. Explained how to get to the sand bar and different locations I could eat. You need bait, ice, sodas, fishing paraphernalia it is all here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE THAT WANTED TO GO OUT FISHING OR JUST AROUND THE BAY WITH THEIR FAMILY.

My experience at key largo boat rental was a wonderful experience. Starting off with the staff very professional and knowledgeable. Gabriel was able to assist me is in some tackle to use for fishing and gave me a couple good fishing spots which I came back with some decent snapper . The owner Jesse greeted me and treated me as if I was VIP customer . Super attentive and very respectful . Even let my son float around on his unicorn float in there beautiful sandy beach . The boat fleet they have range from all sizes and style of boats . Had a 10 plus experience won’t be renting out from anyone else . Couldn’t have asked for a better family day

Gabriel had an awesome attitude when I stopped in to reserve a boat. He reminded me of the turtle from Finding Nemo so laid back and cool. The day I went in to pick up the boat, Jesse made sure it was fueled and ready. He even took the time to give me some fishing tips to catch the smart keys fish.

This was our third time renting from KLB in key largo. Great service and seamless experience. The boat (17’ Angler) was almost new and in perfect condition. Will definitely rebook on our next visit. Jessie was super helpful, FYI.

We stopped in around 145 to see if we could rent a boat for an hour to have a little family time on the water. We were told that one should be ready around 3. We were to receive a call when we were to come back. 3 o’clock came and went with no call so my wife called around 4. She was told that there was another person before us on the list (which we weren’t told originally) and they just went out but a boat should be available soon. My wife was trying to inquire if we would even still be able to get a boat today at all but was hung up on in mid sentence. We decided to give it a little time and go have some lunch. With it now going on 5 o’clock and still no call and our kids bored, we started driving back to Miami. However, we wanted to give it one last shot because our kids had been so excited to go out on a boat today. We stopped in again. The guy we spoke with earlier in the day wasn’t there but now some lady. She proceeds to tell us that the boat won’t go into gear. We ask about the other boat but she said it needed gas and to be cleaned. My wife asked how long it would take to put gas in and she said too long and by the time they would be done we’d have to come back in. (The place closes at 7, and this was at 530). Needless to say, we never got to take our kids out on a boat today and they’re super disappointed . A simple PHONE CALL was all that was needed to tell us this wasn’t going to happen today. So much for customer service.

The owner Jessie and the guy who helped us was super nice. They even helped get my special needs daughter and her wheelchair on and off the boat. The owner gave us a map and showed us where to go fish and guy that works there helped us unload everything off the boat. All in all very nice and friendly people.

Went in his shop for some frozen bait and the owner did not give us the time of day to answer any of our questions. He shrugged us off and kept walking away, very rude and unprofessional.

Rented two boats within 4 days. The new owner Jesse, his wife and his team Gabriel and Cory went above and beyond to accommodate us.They have everything you could possibly need in their store, as far as bait, fishing supplies and boating supplies go! LIVE SHRIMP!!!They also rig up their own what they call Dolphin (Mahi) Cookies and THEY WORK!!We WILL be back next year and rent again.Thanks guys and see you next year! (Or sooner ;)

Had a great experience at KLB Boat Rentals! From the start Gabriel took care of us and made sure we were satisfied with everything. Told us where to go for fishing and sight-seeing.
