I had the pleasure of using DNA computers for my build in the Loque Ghost S1. From helping to me decide on the best components (saving me at least $200 off a video card) to completing the difficult build inside a small form factor case, DNA Computers exceptional customer service kept me assured the entire time that my investment was in safe hands. After the build was finished DNA Computers continued with this great service by helping me to troubleshoot issues with the computer. Their patient and helpful staff backed by Avis expertise are second to none.

I have used DNA Computers for possibly seven or more years. I have had a tower built based on specs and budget (still working). I have purchased a refurbished tower (bought as a gift and still working). And this last trip, my new tower I had an internal drive installed and upgraded the RAM. It is a locally owned business. One of the owners/founders works on systems along side the other employees. Everyone is very knowledgeable and nice. Currently due to Covid you have to call and make an appointment. Must wear a mask during your appt.

Avi and Zach are the best! Accurately diagnosed the problem with our primary business server at the counter within minutes and had it repaired and greatly improved in days. Then, after the sale/service, they both took several our my calls and talked me though re-establishing our office network. They took every call and treated me with respect while helping me greatly. Friendly and professional staff. Walking in, there is a plethora of electronics available including RAM, monitors, and CPUsBrought in a laptop that was having a boot problem. They diagnosed and repaired the system, and its now the system Im writing this review on. Up front, they have a diagnosis fee, but they will coordinate with the device owners before performing any repairs that will have additional cost

Had to diagnose a few issues with my custom built PC. Avi helped me out, he was very knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming to me when I walked into the shop. The service was A+, he helped me diagnose my issue and gave me some good advice on new power supplies and graphics cards. I would recommend this shop to anyone that needs a PC repair.

They saw me waiting in line for 15 minutes & waited until I got my turn to tell me they wouldnt serve me because I couldnt wear a mask. Refused even after I offered my doctors note! The governors mandate says it isnt required for those who cant wear one for a medical reason, cant they read? Refusing to serve me is the same as denying service to a handicapped person! Good thing I didnt take my computer there & just wanted to pick up a Wish order!

Amazing customer service and employees!I went in for a screen repair, it went great but the screen seemed to have the wrong resolution, went back in and got a new screen and got it repaired for the right resolution for no extra cost!A great place, I highly recommend plus great prices and way faster repair times compared to other places such as Geek Squad.

Ravi was extremely helpful and polite during the entire time I went there. We had a mouse smash a laptop screen on our brand new gaming laptop and I immediately found DNAComputers to have the best reviews in the Dayton area and we were not let down. They said it would take less than a week to order and replace the screen and they werent wrong! Definitely coming here for any future computer issues to get repaired.

Service is incredibly slow and the company doesn’t honor its work.After my Lenovo Yoga 900 stopping taking a charge I replaced the charging port and then the battery. Since neither fixed the issue an associate recommended DNA Computers. I went to their store in Nov 19, told them my issues and paid to have another charging port installed. They explained that it could be a faulty replacement port. Ok, then that failed and they installed a new battery. In Jan, no progress so they recommended a new mother board. Ok, another 400$ and I have a new motherboard installed. Due to COVID, I get it back in March 2020. Computer works fine, no issues. Aug, same issue is happening again. I take it in and after a few weeks they recommended replacing it. Ok, what about the money I invested on your expertise? The work is warranties for thirty days. Then they say they can give me cost on an Acer. The catch is it’s a a cheap base model. I counter with a better model and am told they’ll get back to me. A week later I heard nothing, picked up my computer and moved on. I’d recommend saving yourself the headache.Rebuttal. I talked to Josh on Monday with a ‘guarantee’ to get a call back the following day to find out if the newer computer was available. Instead, I call back on Friday and get nothing. If your company stood by its word we wouldn’t have an issue. When I was in the store today... I got ‘sorry’ and that was it. I get it, your a small establishment. Customer service makes or breaks professional relationships. You had my laptop for over 5 months and in the end it’s exactly the same as it was when I originally brought it in.

I recently bought a new computer and am thrilled with it. Avi and Zack treated me well and I will not hesitate to go back if I ever need help. I love to support family owned businesses instead of big box stores. Service was exceptional.

Their repair service might be good but dont ever try and sell a computer there. I have a custom built gaming desktop that is less than 6 months old. I built it so there was no labor in the $1200 I put into it. But these people wanted to offer me $150 for it. My video card alone sells for $385 on Newegg. So it is an insult to be offered such a low amount.

This store is a wish pickup retailer but everytime I come in they act like it’s such an inconvenience and now they supposedly have only certain days you can pick items up now too. Not everyone can rearrange their entire schedule to get here during your shortened business hours especially just to be told I can’t even get my one item bc it’s not a specific day of the week. Seriously? It’s my item I paid for it and waited months for it. It takes two seconds to find and scan a barcode. But they always treat you like you’re bothering them from their real customers. I wouldn’t bring my computer here to be fixed either. They were rude BEFORE the pandemic. It has nothing to do with this. If you can’t facilitate wish pickups then you shouldn’t be doing it. Period.

My granddaughters laptop was stuck in a self-repair loop because the hard drive failed. DNA replaced the drive with a solid state for a very good price and successfully recovered her data. They also replaced the charging cable (which I had misplaced) at no cost, even though they had no obligation to do so. Excellent customer service! I highly recommend them.

This is the place to take your computer to have repaired or improved upon. They know what they are doing and they are very helpful. I learned more in a few minutes there over any other place where I purchased any of my computers.

I brought my high end gaming PC into their store because it was not functioning at all, as it turns out it just needed a new fan and they diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and returned it all in the span of less then a week and for a fair price. The workers are very friendly and know what they are talking about, I highly recommend going here for any help you need.

These guys really know their stuff. I purchased a refurbished laptop for my son after his 2 year old Dell died. They offered me a fair price as a trade in. I purchased an HP refurbished from them. It is the fastest system he has ever had. I have also taken my older laptop in for service. To me, its not so much the cost of repairs, but that it is done correctly, and to feel confident that I was not taken advantage of. I highly recommend them.

Went to get my Palmrest fixed on my computer, all is fine With the palmrest but now my laptop has a full blown virus on it after they completely took out all the gutts of the computer. I wasnt on my computer at all after i picked it up, opened the computer today and now i have this mess going on.

I had a very bad experience with this store and I will not do business with them again. I do not trust them and I dont recommend you do either.In my opinion, the buyer should read the bad reviews carefully and reconsider doing business here.I lost $200.00 when I tried to buy a computer from this place. At the end of my transaction I had no computer and no $200.00.Buyer Beware!!!! If you are short on money and you cant afford to loose your money, stay away. You are taking a chance buying from here.

If you have a decent laptop or even a gaming laptop I’d recommend this place but for custom gaming desktop loops I would not I needed my loop retubbed I have two pumps one for my gpu and one for my cpu and I knew it needed retubbed because who ever did it the first time was novice I really trusted these people they quoted me 350-500 for the job with using my old fittings so I ask them to just re hard tube it with barely any fittings and to vertically mount my gpu mind you they can make the brace they have a 3D printer in the store they quote me 800 so I’m like ehh kind of steep but I need it done they have good reviews so I tell them to do it another week goes by so I call and ask how everything is doing they tell me the tech guy needs to talk to me he calls me the next day and quotes me 1100$ !!! What? So I had to put to a deposit down of a 100$ mind you so I tell them that I want to just come get my pc it’s been in their for seventeen days now so I pick it up they want to keep my 100$ for taking the gpu out and taking the tubes out with clearly tubes still attached and a ton of liquid still in the hanging tubes .. like are you kidding me they put my gpu in a static bag mind you so I take my computer to another shop they pull my gpu out and they didn’t even get all the coolant out of the gpu so it got into the board which can ruin it I have a evga 2080ti FTW3 which is quite pricey so I call and leave a voice mail for the shop telling them what they have done to my gpu and I never heard back from them I can’t believe these people seriously the shop had to take apart my gpu to fix and void my warranty I should honestly be taking to my lawyer it costed me extra money to have my gpu taken apart and cleaned and had to void my warranty 25 years of experience my fanny sir and the shop I took it to re did my loop hard tube style with custom plating designs all for 750$ these guys are a rip off when it comes to custom PCs I would not recommend for this type of work oh and you saying my leaky pc wrapped in paper towels that’s ridiculous because it was literally one paper towel wrapped over one of the tubes on the gpu pump not even close to any components I put it their to be safe my gpu was not drenched either you guys did that you even left coolant still in the gpu loop after you took it apart ridiculous I really can’t believe you can defend yourself I love your reply so shady seriously you all should be ashamed of yourself it took my guy 3 hours to clean out the gpu I really can’t believe you people tried to defend your self your reply is ridiculous and a lie

Ive come here twice in two years, both times for major issues with PCs I have built. On both occasions, I have had quick service for little to no cost. Not that this will necessarily be your experience. It obviously depends on the type of repair or service. Just showing gratitude for this business in the area.

This place was awesome, I came to them with a graphics card, and RAM upgrade and they charged me the basic price.But what was great about them was they helped me with so much more, not only did they do a great install in a very timely manner they through in something that blew me away.It was only asstetics but they also helped me clean up the wiring and everything else and they are very professional with customer service and giving advice.I strongly recommend this place to anybody with any PC problem.

Awesome experience! My first and only experience with a technical computer issue has been at DNA Computers. They personify customer service! Very knowledgeable and very patient, they took all the time that I needed to understand the process of data recovery. Mine was a particularly hard case due to type of hard drive failure but they were doggedly persistent and recovered all but the tiny fraction of my data that was unrecoverable by anyone due to bad sectors. And they did it at a fraction of the cost of the larger, nationally known data recovery companies! Thank you so much Gayle and Avi! Ill recommend DNA Computers to my friends and family! My name is Ryan and hot damn I cannot recommend this place enough. I made the poor choice of getting a boutique computer from cyberpower PC. I initially attempted to overclock the processor myself for almost a week to no avail-- I brought my computer in this week to DNA computers and they said they would handle it (be wary it is expensive to have them overclock it!) Avi was very helpful and resourceful; no B.S he was straight to the point and promised to help.The next morning I recieved a call that the motherboard that the computer came with cannot even handle overclocking!! So they gave me a plethora of options of how to handle the issue. We went with changing out the motherboard. They even refunded me for the overclock since they were unable to and allowed me to put it towards the new motherboard. I am now waiting for the motherboard to be installed.I will be recommending anyone and everyone who has any computer issues or questions to DNA computers. Thank you Avi and Winston for being awesome! Any further computer upgrades, questions, or purchases will go through DNA computers. There is a reason theyve been open for a decade and its definitely the customer service.

Expensive but gets the job done. I typically review places 3-6 months after the service took place to see long-term how the quality of the service was, I needed my laptops operating system fixed(it had corrupted) and needed data backup then it reuploaded to my computer - This service in total was $155 or so which Im not going to lie ; Is up there in price. However 6 months later I am writing this review from that same laptop and had no issues with it. I know other services that you could have a operating system fix and data backup for $79 but you often(and I have) encounter some form of problem with these types of services typically within a few months(I.e the operating system corrupts again or something). I have not had any issues in 6 months after paying $155 to these guys to fix my computer and to me, that is worth the extra money and is why Im giving them five stars. Customer service is friendly to. Overall Id recommend them for sure just always be wary about cost at any place like this!

Order item on Wednesday and told to come back on Monday for my stuff. Drive 40 minutes to find out I dont need one of the items and the other isnt in. Then charged for having to send back the item I didnt need and will have to drive another40 minutes to get the other item or pay to have it sent back. This is ridiculous. Would not recommend going there no matter how nice the people are. Received a called from Gail stating she would mail me my item so I dont have to drive back again. Also fix the charge for the item I didnt need. She changed my mind about this place.

Not only did this company take four times longer to fix my computer then they said it would. Never calling to update me. If I hadnt kept calling to find out what was going on, Im not sure they ever would have called. But worst of all they damaged my computer and would not take responsibility for it. Telling me it was previous damage, when I know well and good my computer didnt look that way when I dropped it off. It makes me sick how carelessly they handled my computer. Stay far, far away from this company.

These guys are great (appraised and apprised by very reliable sources). My folks needed some computer help and without knowing anyone to recommend (Im 500miles away), I talked to the fine folks at Mac Depot and Im happy I did as they recommended DNA Computers & Printing, just down the road.My parents were extremely happy with the service the owner, Avi provided them. He looked at their computer and monitor and it was determined that their issue was elsewhere. It turned out to be their ISP (I was unable to troubleshoot this remotely as the description sounded like a bad power supply).Folks now have a place they trust and can go to anytime they have any computer or printing needs. In fact, they found a nice used inexpensive LCD monitor at the shop that they bought to replace their antiquated CRT.Highly recommended.

Hello I am sure that you remember me, I am the guy who came to get a 17 macbook pro repaired. You offered the same macbook pro version that I have to sell to me for 650.00 plus the trade in of my Macbook pro. Otherwise to get it serviced would be 800.00.Here is my question to you, Why did you not tell me that my macbook had a recall on those parts. True enough I did not know, but as a small business in a community, dont you think that you should have had enough integrity to tell a customer, that this could be served for free by APPLE? I did take it to APPLE and they are servicing my Mac for Free. But here is the other issue I have with you. You would have charged me $225.00 more to fix just fix the issue at hand. APPLE is servicing something 2 fold, that would have cost me $575.00. I admit, I almost went with you guys, but felt in my spirit that you and the lady working there were pulling my leg. I talked with her first, and even as she began to service another customer she was very in tune to our conversation, and offering her input from time to time. DNACOMPUTERS is not loyal to the customer or community at this point. I will make it my business to make sure that it is known not to trust a word that you say. Your lcm of integrity will keep you from having great fortune and good relationship with the community and customers alike. and this is not to be mixed up with COMPUTER DNA in Cincinnati, they on the other hand have incredible integrity. Simply the best. Very knowledable and honest staff. Fixed my old iMac (pretty significant fix), bringing it back to life at a fraction of the cost of a new iMac. The local Apple Store refused to even consider repairing my old iMac and Best Buy wanted to diagnose and diagnose at a cost that would have well exceeded the repair cost paid to DNA Computing. I rarely write reviews, but DNA Computing earned this one.

I bought a used laptop. I elected to buy local vs. going online because I hoped a local small business would stand behind their product. DNA did just that. I got a very good machine for around 300 bucks. But it kept making the usb-insert-and-remove doo doop noise for no reason. I didnt have time to take it back in before the initial 30 day return period had passed. Nonetheless, Avi and Steve took it in, troubleshot, and cleared up the issue. Now its good as new and Im looking forward to having the guys install some additional RAM. Cheers.

So far my experince with DNA Computer has been great. Well except the fact that i took my Toshiba to them to be fixed and it seems the situation hasnt been resolved. Ive taken it home twice now and the same thing keeps happening. Granted its taking longer for it to shut itself off. However they have been wonderful so far in working with me and my computer and i appreicate thier hard work! When i called this evening i spoke to Steve who gave me a few tips to try and keep it running for now and also ordered a new fan for my laptop so i could continue to try to work on it while waiting for the part to come! I am grateful to them and thier hard work and hope they get my laptop fixed soon so i can pos ta better review!
