I very seldom write reviews but the top notch service I received from Kerrville Automatic for my 2018 Lexus deserves to be recognized. Scott McCain and his experienced staff replaced my spark plugs and battery. My car has never run better. You get what you pay for. With Kerrville Automatic I get honest and reasonably priced service. It’s nice to know I have a local auto repair shop I can trust! No more trips to the overpriced Lexus dealership in San Antonio!

I was out of town in Kerrville and my truck was making a scary noise. I was desperate to not drive it any further until I had someone look at it. They were able to take me in that day (YEA). Ran a diagnostic test and found the problem. Advised me the problem was covered under warranty and that it was safe to drive home. Just dropped off at dealer and their diagnosis was correct and no harm had been done! So incredibly grateful for their kindness, promptness and correct diagnosis. The entire staff was amazing and even threw in a group prayer with me over a family medical situation back home. I just can’t say enough good about this business and the staff. These guys were absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough good things about their professionalism and courteousness. Our family was surely blessed by encountering them by horrible circumstance (Transmission going out on our van on a dream cross country vacation) they took amazing care of us!

We were on a long road trip through Texas and while changing from Coleman, TX to Ingram, TX, we heard that awful sound coming from our rear brakes. We arrived on a Sunday and called Kerrville Auto Repair Monday morning. Like most of the repair shops in this area, he was slammed with work. He said he could look at it on Tuesday. We were grateful even for that. We asked about renting a car, and he immediately offered us a loaner which was great blessing for it allowed us to tour the beautiful Hill Country area of Texas. Literally, Scott saved our vacation.

Friendly staff, great timely service. They checked everything over and let me know any other items that need service in the near future. Definitely will call on them for future automotive repairs.

Kerrville Automatic is by far the best place on earth to take my SUV when I need help. I never have to worry about the work being performed. I never have to worry about being overcharged. The staff is highly competent and friendly. Scott is the best.

Would not recommend for anything. First time anyone ever took a transmission out with a torch. Cut all exhaust out and crossmember etc. With a torch. Completely ruined a truck. Then wanted 6k for a new crate transmission installed in a 2500 truck. Sorry bunch . Save your trouble. Go elsewhere

Kerrville Automatic has rebuilt transmissions for me on multiple vehicles as well as completed other major mechanical work. Their work is thorough, their attitudes are professional. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Passing through town and the worst happened. Transmission blew up. Curtis and the guys at Kerrville Automatic had me back on the road by the end of the next day, helped to make sure I had what I needed while I was in town waiting on repairs, and kept me updated as the work was being done. Felt like part of the family. Highly recommend.

I brought my truck in on a Friday and wasn’t sure what was wrong with it. They did a diagnostic and it was too late for me to make a decision on whether or not to repair it (I wanted to do a little research first). They gave me a loaner car because the owner said he didn’t want me driving it .. it wasn’t safe. They gave me a car to drive at no charge and didn’t know if I was going to use their services or not! It’s hard to find honest, caring business folks like Kerrville Auto Mechanics these days! I got my truck back today and the quoted price was reasonable and it’s just like new. Great people/ great shop. Donald and Scott are super. I highly recommend them.

They did the regular maintenance, and advised me my transmission hadnt been serviced; service manual calls for every 25,000 miles. Completed that. Been with them about three years. High level of trust!

I brought my vehicle to KA based on someones reccomendation.My 2007 Ford Escape had a broken bolt in the idler pulley.I had purchased the parts ($57) in the hope of repairing it myself.KA refused to use the parts I purchased, claiming they would not be under warranty.So 2.5 hours of labor at $100/hour and charged DOUBLE for the parts.In summary, to remove a broken bolt and replace the serpentine belt I had to pay $400 !

Scott and his team are honest and trustworthy. Theyve kept my 2008 Ford Escape running in excellent condition for almost 10 years (and 250K miles!).

Very rude man named scott couldnt figure out what was wrong wanted to charge me 120 an hour just to dignose it when i said no didnt want to answer any other questions after i wasnt going to pay that ridiculous price save your money and go to a machanic that has heart not a money hungry company.
