Went there for a crown after getting a root canal. Extremely friendly and professional. Explained everything that was happening as they went along. Clean environment. After my experience I have switched to them for my next routine cleaning. Highly recommended!!!

From the friendly front desk staff to the sweet hygienist and wonderful Dr Amy Jo and Dr Meredith, we have always had great experiences in this office. The comfortable massage chairs while receiving services is a plus too! The whole atmosphere is very welcoming. I definitely recommend Smiles By Design!

I just got finished with a root canal with Dr. Meredith Ward. She was so gentle that I fell asleep in the middle of my root canal. I have NEVER had an experience as positive as with Dr. Meredith. If you have anxiety about the dentist, you HAVE to visit Dr. Meredith and in one day watch your dental anxiety melt away. Thank you so much Dr. Meredith for being so kind and comforting. Awesome First ExperienceWhen I first walked in to take my seat the office clerk called my name within 5 minutes. Next thing I know, I was getting my teeth clean within 10 minutes of my arrival. Mrs Lisa, Dr. Amy, and her daughter Dr. Meredith was phenomenal. I have already booked three other appointments. Also its important to state that Dr. Amy took the time out to get to know me and have conversation with me before I left. I am very happy with the service I was provided with on today.

After being interrogated by Dr. Meredith Ward about the condition of my children’s teeth she then informed me of the extensive measures that needed to be done. She degraded me as a parent and acted as if I lied to her about their brushing habits and nutrition.As a result of this I went and got a second opinion at Dr. Spangler, Rohlfing & Lambert in Kernersville. Dr. Rohlfing was very informative and listed things that needed to be done and it amounted to 1/3 of the procedures that Dr. Ward recommended. Smiles by Design uses outdated methods and unsafe procedures. For example, my daughter had a small filling done by them and it resulted in an abscess under the filling they placed and will most likely have to be extracted. A silver filling procedure Dr. Ward recommended for my son, Dr. Rohlfing discouraged and recommended a new technology of filling that releases fluoride and protects the tooth and surrounding from any further damage.Dr. Ward’s ONE year of experience proved itself when my children’s care was taken over by someone with 25yrs of experience.Compassion is what I seek in a medical professional and that was not what I felt from Dr. Meredith Ward.

Dr Fischer and her friendly Smiles By Design staff have provided more than a dozen years of great service to our family of six. They have handled all the routine things such as cleanings and examinations. But they have also helped with fillings, crowns and several unforeseen emergencies. When needed, they have referred us to good specialists for braces and oral surgery. There may be other good dental services in the area, but you wont find one any better than Smiles By Design. :)Three months after my initial review I had the opportunity to take my three-year-old grandson to Smiles By Design for his first-ever dental appointment - he was a bit apprehensive on the drive over, but Dr Fischers staff made him very comfortable and he had no problems at all throughout his appointment - as we were leaving he asked if he could have his birthday party there!

Very few places deserve 5 stars cause that means perfect but thats what they give. Always hated the dental experience until coming to Smiles By Design now its peaceful & fun at the same time.

Big shout out to Smiles By Design, I moved to North Carolina a little over 7 years ago to sell cars at Modern Toyota in Winston-Salem, I met Dr. Amy Jo at the dealership one day and she told me whatt she did for a living and I said I was looking for a dentist and she asked me to come and vist in which I did and let me tell you even though it is a drive from were I live in Clemmons, NC it is worth the drive !!!!!! the entire staff greats me with a smile every time I come through the door!!! This is hands down the best dentist I have ever had !!! You must make time to go and vist, you will be simply amazed how nice they treat you !!!!!
