I cant say enough good things about Flynns Tire & Auto Service. They got me in right away and identified the issue. They are always friendly, efficient and provide wonderful service. This will be my first stop whenever my vehicle decides to act up.

I usually go to flynns for my mechanic work but this last time was not a good experience. My sons car was worked on and was so called fixed but when we got it back was still doing the same thing. I took it back to flynns and was told it was wires in the dash hanging down that was causing the car to have no power, but those were hanging down before the problem started and I tried to tell them that. I went and got my car and took it to another repair shop tire max. Tiremax called me and told me that the wires to the coil pack that was just replaced were cut and electric tape was put around them. Fresh tape and if they replaced the coil pack they should of seen the wires were cut and said something about them. I Called flynns and no help!!! I had to pay Tiremax another $150.00 to fix what was done by Flynns not acceptable!!

They were the only ones that carried my specialty tires for my 2013 Camaro very friendly fast thorough service will always go back to Flynns

I typically do not trust auto repair shops. Repair costs can often be overwhelming and my level of expertise does not extend to determining if I am being taken advantage of. That being said, this shop where Aaron is the manager, took VERY good care of me. He was upfront and honest with me, an unusual trait in this business, in my experience. I had my back brakes changed, an oil change, and tires rotated. The brake repair didnt go as planned. In the end, I drove away from the shop feeling well taken care of. My bank account was not busted, and the shop earned a loyal customer. I will be using this shop for all future vehicle needs. Thanks very much!

Out of town for a wedding and got a nail in my tire. They got me right in and had a new set of tires on my car in no time!

I haven’t been to Flynn’s for around 9 months or so. It seems there has been a complete staff change up front. No one was at the desk when I came in and it took several minutes before I was greeted. I was greeted pleasantly. My main concern was was that the two guys up front were never properly masked. At all times their noses were exposed if not their entire faces. Multiple technicians also came into the reception area and also had no mask on at all. I was inside for an extended period due to the weather and the service I required and felt unsafe due to their cavalier attitude. I’m not sure I feel as confident about the service as I had over the last decade or so. I hope things become more organized and safe.

I don’t really even want to give them a one star…So I brought my car into Flynn’s tires because I had a pulling to the left when I was braking. I told him upfront that I didn’t want to put a lot of money into my car or get tires until I know it was going to be drivable and worth keeping He took it for a test drive and told me it was the calipers. They replaced the rotors the brakes and the calipers telling me that that’s what was the problem. So I thought it was fixed and I got four new tires from them a few days later. after putting almost $1200 into my car …I drove it a few days later and at a higher speed I noticed it still pulled to the left. I brought it back in and they told me it was a whole different problem that was pretty costly. I am so mad because I put all this money into this car that if it wasn’t worth fixing I was going to trade it in as is, before I spent all this money on it. Not a happy and satisfied customer.

I drove in with screw in my tire. A gentleman told me to have a seat and it would be fixed in an hour. Exactly one hour later I left after having paid a very minimal amount for the service.

I didnt have to wait for work on my car to being. It was completed well within the time promised, and I was treated well. I really dont know what more I could expect.

It was nice, they have a pop machine and coffee while you wait. They are very good at following covid distances and I enjoyed that. They seem as though they get quite a bit of business, a good sign. The main reason I went here is to get tires, they advertise the whole price online and it really was the same price I was quoted. They changed all my tires and did an alignment. I am pleased, my tires are super nice and I will return to get tires for another vehicle in the future.

We have gone to Flynns for years for all of our tire needs and we have always had great service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend Flynns to anyone that needs tires or their other services.

I went in for a normal oil change and tire rotation. They asked if I wanted the synthetic and I said yes what I usually get. The normal bill is $39.75. When I picked up my vehicle I was shocked when they said the bill was $72.74. I paid the bill and checked my bill from the last time and found they used 5W30SY Full Synthetic oil instead of the usual conventional blend 5W20. If I take my car back I will verify which oil Im getting. Im a senior on a budget and $72.74 for an oil change is horrible! I can go anywhere else and spend a lot less money even adding a tire rotation.

Todd who signed me in was very pleasant and personable. Service was generally very good. Disappointed that the labor for changing the (2) light bulbs over the license plate was so expensive $89 (bulbs were only $1.95). When I arrived home I googled how to do this and it wasnt that difficult as I was led to believe. Felt like I was taken advantage of in this area. Learned a lesson to ask to see the area, check the parts and maybe google what is involved in the labor.

I went here for new tires and they were flat when I got home and my rims had all of this black stuff on it. Now there saying that they won’t even give me a refund so I have to pay more money to get new tires.

I LOVE Flynn tires! We go to them with all tire related issues. The front office staff has implemented strict barriers to make everyone feel safe doing business with them. On almost any other day I would give them five stars, but today I had work done and when the man delivered my car he was wearing absolutely no PPE. :( Luckily I have Lysol in my car, but for all they do to make the waiting area as safe as possible, the very person touching your car was not following the same compliance.

I made an appt for 11am to just switch out the snow tires. I arrived on time, but didnt get out until 2pm! They didnt value my business, so I will take it elsewhere.Further Message: The manager called me and apologized for the staffs negligence in not letting me know that they were shorthanded that day, so I could reschedule and also for not giving me the service free when he realized how long it took. The manager wrote me a check for the cost of the service, so Ill give them another try.

I came in this week for two new tires and a tire rotation. When I called the person on the phone was very polite and helpful. When I got there I waited for 1 hour and a technician came out to tell me that my front brakes were metal-on-metal and my rear brakes were almost metal-on-metal and recommended that I have them replaced. He offered to show me because I seemed a bit skeptical at first as I hadnt heard any squealing recently. I didnt take him up on the offer because I knew the brakes were original to the six-year-old car, so it was probably time to change them anyway.I ended up leaving the car overnight and they had it ready for me in time to make an appointment in Cleveland the next day! As I mentioned earlier I wasnt 100% sure I needed new brakes, but once I drove the car home it was extremely obvious to me that my brakes had been bad for a while.The tires look and feel great, the brakes are super smooth and responsive, and every person I dealt with was very polite, professional, and did a great job of explaining everything to me. Ive had some terrible experiences at other local mechanics, so I think I will give THESE guys my business from here on out.2 new Goodyear tires (mounted and balanced), a full rotation, all 8 brake pads and all 4 rotors replaced, with a rear end slide service came to $925. Not bad.

I have been there two times to patch my tires and in both instances they got me in the same day I called and I was out in less than an hour. Good people, good work.

Bought new tires about 20+ years ago from Flynns and over the course of the next 6 months, one by one they got bubbles on the side walls. Two while we were out of state on vacation.. Flynn treated me aweful every time I brought it to their attention! My family and I have never been back...

Went in with a leaking tire without an appointment, the shop was very busy at the time, but I was in and out in about an hour. Very helpful and courteous staff, and the technicians were knowledgeable and efficient. Big thanks to Sean for quickly diagnosing my issue and getting me taken care of! Finding an honest repair shop is hard, but Flynns makes it easy!

They fit me in on a busy day for an alignment. Done quickly and charged a fair amount, I thought. They also are taking the covid19 virus seriously, and doing what they can to help keep customers from getting sick.

Went to get 2 new tires, of course they didn’t have the ones I wanted, but coincidentally they had two tires that were the right size for my car that were more expensive. Before even starting the work on my car I receive a call that my ball joints need replaced. I said no, my dad and I are going to talk this over first (considering that most mechanics are trying to scam you out of $). When I finally arrive to pick up my car, I was talked down on by the man behind the desk saying that “Just a fair warning that those new tires probably aren’t going to last very long since you’re not having the ball joint replacement done.” I also asked for them to put the old tires in my trunk for me instead of discarding them as I needed to return them. They decided they didn’t even want to do that for me. Probably not going to return

I thought they were going to be fairly priced and not try to scam me due to the reviews but I was wrong. Went there for a quick oil change and inspection. They told me I needed new break pads because they were at 3 mm (which seemed weird to me because I had new breaks put on it 2 years ago and have only driven 10,000 miles). I told them I would come back and get them another time. Later, my boyfriend and I looked at them, and they were no where near 3 mm.

My fiancé and I made an appointment to get two tires changed 4 days in advance. Well, when it came time for our appointment my fiancé walked in and they said that they didn’t have the correct tires and to come back tomorrow. Don’t you think that you should call? We had plans the next day we have to cancel now because they couldn’t bother giving us a heads up.

Had brakes done on Monday.. Only drove 25 miles on the new pads. Friday went to them for new tires. Was told i needes new brake pads and calipers..... Could clearly see the pads were new by looking through the rim.... They are crooks..... Do not go here. They will sell ypu stuff you done need with out looking at your car.... Woman and old people beware of this business.....

Always have had a great experience with them over the last 4 years. I have replaced around 3 sets of tires through them and have had countless other fixes and oil changes. Always welcoming and never feel like they are taking advantage of you. They even took my to downtown Kent when my tires were getting replaced and I needed to get to work.

Fair prices, good service. My spare has a compartment and haphazardly threw it in the trunk, hence lower score.

Other reviews suggest this is a good shop, and hopefully it is. However, I left a message with them after hours when I needed an urgent brake repair while driving through Kent (about 80 miles from home), and they never called me back. They should have at least called the next day to tell me they couldnt fit me in. Fortunately another shop in town called me early the next morning and took care of me.

Paid $345.00 to get waiver for echeck to get my plates. And they got it done and I got my plates. But honestly I dont even think they did anything to my suv lol. But, I got what I needed so whatever.

I thought I had a leak in my tire, but turns out just salt and gravel from the roads that kept messing with the tire pressure. Tech cleaned and replaced the valve. Great service and done in no time.

I really enjoyed my service and discounts when I originally came to this place. However, they sold me the wrong type of tire and caused a lot of confused when I needed to have one replaced. It was a safety issue and they would not to anything to remedy the problem other than try to get me to purchase more tires.

Went to Flynns Tire in Kent & got a good deal on tires! My appt was at 2:00 & I was out of there before 3! Feel so much better having new tires on my car not to mention feeling safer on the road!

Had some issues with communication and service, but the Manager - Rod - called me and was more than willing to rectify the situation and offered me a full refund. This has certainly made me feel better about the circumstances and will keep that in mind when my car needs service in the future.

I have been to this Flynns location many times, for services ranging from oil changes to replacement of the little motor that shoots wiper fluid to a new oil pan. I called around to price services before purchase, and prices are pretty standard. The original problem with my oil pan was the threads on the plug, and they installed a helicoil to try to make the oil pan last a few thousand more miles. When it started leaking after a few days, they had no qualms with crediting all money paid for that work toward the new oil pan. This location offers a discount for Kent State students, as well as transportation. I have never been offered unnecessary services and have never had a bad experience. The only negative thing I have to say is that their wait times are sometimes longer than other shops, though it seems to me that its simply because they are so busy. Once they start working on your car, service time is completely reasonable. I highly recommend this business.

I like cars and am sort-of a fussy guy (LOL). I am pleased every time I go to Flynns in Kent for service. I never feel I am being oversold on anything; work done promptly and priced fairly; nice guys up front in the office.
