They were honest and efficient. The price was affordable. Thanks Buckys
They got my car done sooner then what they said and the air conditioner works great now.
Comprehensive, experienced mechanics. I will go back!
I had my catalytic converter stolen. Needed to get a protective shield so it doesnt happen again. My dealer where I get my Prius serviced said it would cost $600. Buckys is charging $250, and I got my car back the same day. The parking lot is tight, but the service is friendly and competent. Highly recommend!
The manager Wally is awesome. The work is done right and at just about the best price possible.
The service is excellent, Wally the manager is the best! Hes always up front about repairs and prices, Id follow him to wherever they send him! As for their location in kent@midway its way too small for the amount of business that they have. So theyre quite busy and traffic isnt the best in that area. Always call a day or two before showing up, be flexible with time and hell get you in with minimal wait time. Besides your being courteous to there business since theyre in a very small location limited parking available. They do there best to help you in anyway they can.
They did more than they had to. Kudos to employee I think Macon
Good Work, car was done on time. No complaints.
When I went to pick up my car I was charged extra because one of the parts was special. I had this replaced before with no additional charge
I want to thank Wally and his team for taking the extra time to do the new car inspection and willing to answer all my question
Great place to have repairs done!!! Good honest work, They always work hard to get it right, never hide any thing manager will let you talk to the staff because he doesnt tell stories, prices are GREAT!!! They also do financing!!! Go down and see them, they actually do care about you and your car!!! Manager and employees has been with the company for years!!!! Hope this helps your decision!!!
Nice men, very helpful with good pricing
I need to make this comment even though its 3 years after the fact. I came there for an oil change and the guy told me my oil was so low my engine was about to seize up. I had an oil leak that would cost $1200 to repair. I ONLY PAID $1600 for the truck. 3 years later I havent replaced the oil pan. My truck use about half a quart in between oil changes and its still running great. Your guy there is MY WORST NIGHTMARE . Nothing the first time some predatory mechanic tried to clean out my bank account. Hope you got rid of him
Great service and price
Great customer service. I changed location of buckys to get the service at this location
As a woman you frequently get taken for a ride with mechanics, most women dont know much about the cars so people take advantage. Dean is patient and kind and explains everything to you. He really takes the time to make you understand whats what with your car. the prices are very fair and when he doesnt have access to your part he does what he can to make you happy. I wont take my car anywhere elseOh and expect to come in when they open and expect to wait. They are simply the best and everyone knows it! Seriously worth the wait
My mother and i been a customers for over 20 years. Wally and Steven! Are the best. Always honest. And loyal
Stephen and Paul were aeaome came in and need it some parts tact welded together great prices and they deserve more credit then other that give them
The manager is the best!! He yells you like it is an isnt out to empty your wallet. Hes great at letting customers know exactly what is best needed for their car!
They did great wirk on my exhause thank you Buckys
I had a complicated issue with air conditioning that took a lot of extra time and effort to diagnose and fix. They went above and beyond in helping me; even going as far as looking for obsolete parts after hours on their own time. Then, despite the extra work, their pricing was extremely reasonable and fair. On top of it, they were always nice and pleasant to work with. The best experience Ive had in working with a repair shop.
Great service! Great guys! Just a brake job, but they did it great! Thank you!!
Wally runs this place and always treats people with respect and his people do a great job Ive had them work on several auto projects if mine and have never been disappointed
I have been taking my 2011 Chevy HHR to Buckys for two years and always get great service. The turn around times are fast as well. Buckys will always get my business. The staff and mechanics are very friendly and honest. Thank You all!👍
Great general repair shop, not to much they cant take care of.
I have had two Mufflers with exhaust installed Primo service
Omar and his team are the GOAT!! These guys stayed after hours to get me back on the road. Huge thanks guys!
Terrible we have a Buick Regal that they worked on 1500.00 later still not working right with same issues we started with and the car has been back 4 times.....
We went in with a car that we bought pre-owned. Issue was a deafening loud noise coming from the rear accompanied by a slight wiggle. Not only were we in and out in under 3 hours, but they had the parts there damn near immediately, the ENTIRE STAFF was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and now the car runs better than it did when we bought it. Their prices cant be beat and their intellect is second to none. I will always recommend these folks, and as long as I live in Washington, no one else will ever work on our vehicles. #BuckysIsTheBEST!
I highly recommend this place theyre really good.
Wally is an awesome guy with a great spirit!
These guys are always amazing! I go there regularly for all my oil changes and auto issues.
Matt the new mgr is awesome. Very helpful and friendly.
This shop really helped me get new brakes for a good price! Great staff.
After initially being frustrated - Wally the manager took care of me and my car. Will use this spot again.
Worst automotive repair shop hands down. I wish I could give them ZERO stars because they DO NOT deserve the 1 star. They took advantage of the fact that I am a woman and have no family here in Washington and I dont know anything about vehicles. They also refused to give me the old parts that they supposedly replaced...claiming they were core parts. I have come to find out that my plastic valve cover and Map sensor are NOT core parts. In fact, the new company I went with actually gave them to me!! When I told the new manager at Buckys what had transpired with the old manager his attitude was one of...I could care less. Save your money and time and possibly your vehicle...steer CLEAR of Buckys Auto.
Buckys rocks! These guys are cool 😎
Good service, fairly reasonable prices.
These guys helped me a lot and im grateful for that. Never miscount your blessings. Keep doing what youre doing fellas! Great job!
——-Update - there’s new people who says they don’t have all my records of how much I payed in the past. They are claiming “ an old manger deleted or never put them on file “ “ he was pocketing money”I bring my Cadillac there every time my check engine light comes on and they fix it quick . I recommend going here, Steven is very a professional and honest person
Couldnt work on my car today
I went yesterday to fix my ford escort cooling system overheating problem. They spent a few time to inspect the root cause of the problem after a while they figure out and say the problem is in the radiator, some thing is wrong in it & in the thermostat and recommended need to be changed/replace both of them charge me $599.46 (it includes labor, radiator coolant) agreed and decided to proceed the repair. However when I see the invoice detail I feel like they overcharge me a lot:Radiator price $222.00, its max retail price is $126.25 @ AutoZone almost overcharged 95 %Thermostat $ 16.00, its max retail price is $ 8.00 @ NAPA over charged 100%Up to you to go there or not but my experience fact is this.Beside of this the guys (especially Steven) are nice, friendly & punctual & their service is really good!
Genuine, stand up people there... Steven, Melinda and crew, are honest as they come. They only fix what needed to be fix.
Bucky,s is the best we have been going there all the time instead of the dealer.we give them a 5 star.
Took advantage of my widowed mother. Charged her $1500, 3 days later car was squeeking. When took to certified dealer, we were informed they didnt even receive the parts and service billed for. Steven is despicable
Spanish speaking working was overpricing us at 125 for a muffler weld, went to Renton location $65 and done.
Went in for oil change. Not sure if I received a new oil filter cuz the 1 on there looks quite funky. Mechanic ran a diag(which i knew what was w/light). Funny thing is he kept opening & closing driver door while plugged into eng diag.Steps for key fob program are simialr. Ironically my int over head lights, clock, fact alarm and key fob stoped working w/in a hr after visit. Idk but just seems iffie. Diff guys than last time I was in for a oil change.Last guys were great.. Im good. Wont be going there again. It may be 1 of those crazy series of events but idk maannn.
When my fiance and I got back from our trip someone had messed with our car. George was the only one willing to listen to our problems and try to squeeze us in before close. I had the car towed to his shop, where he took the time listen to the situation and work with me on how to fix it. Unfortunately it was an alarm issue and had to be fixed at the dealership. Even though he couldnt get the car started he refused to take payment for what he had tried to do and took the time to give advice about the area and where it was safe to stay. He then helped us reseach a low cost hotel in a good neighborhood and even drove us there free of charge. It is people like this that keep America moving in the right direction and show what being a decent human being is all about. I will always be thankful for what George did for us.
Nothing but good experiences at buckys
George the new manager is not any help.. he didnt show any honesty and customer satisfaction. he tried to rip me off and try to do other things to my car when i did not need it. he was having the employees do things to my car to use up time, then when he had customers walk in he seemed like he wanted to speed things up and hurry and collect my money. i will never recommend buckys to anyone. i went in for a waiver for my emissions and had screw me up writing things that he never told me. dont ever come here
Untrustworthy & terrible service. Had a terrible experience service for my suv here. Never come back here again. 😡👎👎👎👎
They fixed my battery cables, on my 96 Toyota Avalon. Well, not really. There was a bolt that was supposed to hold the battery in place that they missed and a red plastic battery cover that they didnt put back over the positive battery cable either.Well, I had significant issues, with the positive battery cable since then. I took it back to them. They said the whole terminal battery assembly needed to be replaced and it was only available from Toyota itself. The price was 135.00 plus 100.00 in labor. I said no at that time and tired short term fixes, but none of them clearly worked (like moving the cable and terminal around to set it in position so the car would start, often, it wouldnt start unless I did this.Sadly, the cable broke off from the terminal connections this AM. I took it back to them, thinking that the price would still be the same. They called the factory directly since they said Toyota was the only place I could get the part. This time they said the assembly alone was now 3 times the original price. I assumed was the assembly, but now I dont totally trust that it was. Maybe he called Buckys factory and had a bean counter tell him what to charge.I was understandably upset with that news but not like meltdown upset and it was not directed at him. He scolded me for being rude and not understanding I was trying to help him.Almost 2 hours later, I took it to a non chain, small Hispanic shop, Ive used in the past. I didnt use this shop at first since the main mechanics English is not that strong. But, he looked at it and as you can see in the picture, below, fixed it for a fraction, of what Buckys was trying to get, less than 50 dollars. All he did was drag the cable up slightly and replace the connector that Buckys did a shotty job on. Buckys would have charged over 700 dollars.I went back and read him the riot act, one for scolding me and two for seemingly lying about that terminal assembly being the only way to fix it. Either he lied or really did not know his stuff. When I told him it was only about 50 to fix, he said, I didnt give him enough information this AM (even though little changed since this AM when the positive battery cable broke and about 10 days ago when I first told him that the positive battery cable seemed messed up). This was at the Midway shop. This seems big time like a company full of mechanics who are dishonest snakes. Stay away, its too bad since they are a local company, but, thats not a slam dunk for anyones business. So was Haggens and look what theyve done. They, earlier this year, had my car up for radiator repairs at their Renton shop. The guy quoted me a price of 500 dollars to fix it. I wanted to know though, if he could honor the same price, along with the manager of a store a lot closer to me. The Renton manager made up some weak excuse and said no. Only real excuse, was, customer first my butt, he wanted to keep the $ and sales for his store. That cost me a 40 dollar cab ride. Please, if you have similar stories, share them. Thanks.
After getting rear-ended I took my car to this shop to have my rear suspension and exhaust fixed to repair damages from the accident. At the time I was unable to get under the vehicle and inspect the work due to injuries, but a few months later I was able to see sloppy welds, bad bends and re-bends, poor workmanship, gas shocks that are already failing. and overall a bad product. I will not take any of my vehicles here again, and I have recommended everyone I know to stay away from this shop.
I been going to Buckys for a year in a half for the same problem of my engine light. All he did was decoded it, and claims to fix something else. spending my whole tax return. Not even a day went by and the engine light turn on again. He said it was something else so he suggest that I go back again. I decided to go somewhere else and all I needed was 2 small little hoses changed n the engine light is now off. My van is up and running the way it should be. Never ever again will I go back to Buckys. They are nic we people but completey rip off
Great service and pricing.Fantastic manager.
The Federal Way Buckys is the most dishonest, rude and dismissive auto repair facility I have ever been to, with the exception of the old Walts in Federal Way when it was in business with the same person as the manager. He tried to rip me off then and small claims court agreed and made him pay. Today, he recognized me before I did him and is apparently still holding a grudge, so he goaded and threatened me. I will never set foot in that establishment again as long as he is working there.
I feel I was greatly overcharged and some of the work was not properly done.
The people are wonderful
