Charged us a lot for technician coils snd only put one on... I could get 4 of these st orileyd for what they charged for one... They dont check your oil when trying to figure out what is wrong with your car. Overall rediculous.

They do awesome work for people in Kennewick and Richland. Oil Changes, new tires, transmissions, large and small car repair, auto repair, etc. Great auto repair shop!

Today I took my car in for a check up since I have a trip coming up and the Platinum crew took a look everywhere and let me know the only thing I needed was a tire rotation. We moved forward to doing it and as you can see in the picture these guys are so detailed that they even made sure my Honda signs lined up on my rims. Talk about attention to detail!!! These guys have worked on two of my vehicles and Im extremely satisfied because they always communicate what the cars need. Platinum service for sure. This sure is a one stop auto shop.

I brought my 03 Honda in for an inspection, leak repair, and brake inspection. They didnt charge me for the inspections. I had the work done and a precautionary change they suggested I have done (I knew it was not needed right away) and they were totally honest about it being such. After the big leak was out of the way I saw there were other leaks. I took it back and they fixed it the same day, free of charge. All in all they may not be the cheapest, but Im going to Platinum from now on. Thanks to Tom and the team for helping me.

Been going here for years. Every single time they do great work, for very fair prices. But the best thing about these guys is the honesty. I’ve had people try to sell on “urgent repairs”, or overcharge me for repairs that we’re actually needed. Took my car to Platinum, and Robert tells me what’s not actually needed, what is, and even found me ways to save extra.They’ve saved me thousands over the years, and I should’ve written this review sooner. But I finally took the time today because I called this morning due to a huge bolt that pierced my tire, and they took care of it right away, for free.These guys rule. Hands down the most honest and best mechanics ever!! I expected to pay big for an entire brake job. When I picked up my car Nathan said to me “ it didn’t need this or that and I got out for way under what I expected. When is the last time a mechanic said to you “ you can probably get through until next winter” not just want to replace everything! They are now my shop for life!

Best service I have ever had at a mechanic. Have a project car I have been working on for a while, needed help with the ignition system. Had it at another place in town and was told that there was nothing else to do it was just the way this old truck ran, out of frustration I took it here as a last resort. First got it in quick. Next got a call quick with the prognosis, then they said it was fixed with a simple change, I was skeptical if I was honest, but they were right on, drove off with this old scout running better then it ever had.Give these guys a shot you won’t be disappointed.

I have never had a better experience with an automotive repair service. The staff at Platinum were professional in every way possible; they were punctual, honest, knowledgeable, and very informative. I’m normally do my own repairs, but if more shops were like this one I might have more work done professionally. Would recommend them to anyone for anyone looking for a Grade A mechanic. If you have a hot rod or anything with aftermarket suspension, this is the only shop I would recommend!I have a 1965 F100 on air ride with a Mustang 2 front clip. It was initially aligned by a different shop, but they were not too good at what they do. After I drove it home the alignment was already so off I couldnt even drive it any distance. Not wanting to go back to them, I started calling shops that I felt I could drive to and avoid a tow. After being turned down by 2 shops nearby because it was a custom hot rod, I called Platinum and they said, Sounds fun. Bring it in. They not only worked around my schedule, but delivered outstanding quality 2 days ahead of schedule!Eric and Robert were both great and are very knowledgeable about custom cars, not just OEM equipment. Hands down would recommend these guys to anyone, especially if your car or truck is a little more custom than spec.

Through numerous vehicles, and many repairs, Nate and his crew have taken great care of me and my family. He is one of the few people I trust with the automotive repair world, and he has actually recommended not spending money on certain items until they really needed to be replaced instead of taking advantage of my ignorance. (Noisy old Ford Ranger power steering pump). Any business man that is willing to not take my money in the name of doing the right thing is a business man I can trust.Also, the courtesy ride to the house was awesome! Love the new shop!

Found platinum automotive on a website that i recently found called repairpal. Being impressed with the sites functionality i went ahead and made an online appointment request. Was called within 10 minutes of the request being sent. The person that called said they were booked this week but scheduled me in asap for this coming week. He was professional, not intimidating, actually im excited to take my car in. I will be honest i dont trust any mechanics, Ive had nothing but bad experiences. I have several cars, a diesel truck, a Harley, and a 5th wheel. Not once has anything been accomplished to any kind of even a minimal satisfaction no matter how small the job. I usually end up redoing the work myself using youtube and Scotty Kilmer (love him! ); i muddle through. Needless to say i have two barely running vehicles.Im getting my spark plugs changed on Tuesday as recommended by repairpal. I know they are fouled and possibly the base problem to my power loss, massive fuel consumption, and overwhelming exhaust. I am confident while this isnt my only issue with my 1994 Camaro; these guys will be able to get to the bottom of it and get my baby running well without leaving a bad taste in my mouth. This is a first!Ill add an update after my first visit.Post review.This place tried to overcharge me by changing the type of car i had brought in from a base model to a z28 which changed the price of the service from 130 to over 300! They didnt use the recommended plugs and also used wrong info on their estimates. Be careful they will RIP you off.

Did not mention to us that we had a warranty let alone any paperwork on the job you say you did. Took s loan out to pay for it too. Have used this repair shop for speciality repair twice and have been very happy with there work and professional service. I normally do most of my own repairs and maintenance. Being a Moorhead myself I would recommend them and have no problems sending my own family and friends.

Ok, so whoever scheduled my appointment messed up putting it in the computer, but I was seen right away anyway and out the door in under half an hour. I had an Uber inspection and it was so affordable that it was definitely cheaper than driving.to Ubers designated mechanic in Yakima. They even wwnt above and beyond and let me know of some upcoming routine issues and gave me a very reasonable quote! Nice job, Platinum. Well done.

I have to change my reveiw I told them to fix what needed to be fixed and i was told pcv and breather hoses and some gaskets totalling $3k in parts and labor cost i got the car back and couple hours later my dash started saying low oil pressure i took it back and they got it fixed quickly and couple days after that my check engine light came on again (and its still on) and was told my secondary air pump was bad and that would be another $1100 for the pump and $500 for labor to move the front carrier to the service position which is $500 charge i already paid on the first visit and was told they noticed the air pump was bad the first visit but they were only concerned with getting the car running right I feel there tryin to suck another $500 labor fee out of me

Weve used Nate since before he had his own shop and had to come to our house to fix our vehicles and weve always been loyal customers but the last truck we brought in weve never been treated so bad by a mechanic and charged so much. The truck was brought in for a three day $300 fix estamite. It took 3 weeks and over $900 to fix it not only did he charge me for his mistakes he made on fixing the problem he didnt put the truck back together properly the drive line bolts were finger tight. (Just one of many examples) The truck broke before I made it home! I would not recommend this service for your veichal and surly will not be taking another veichal there.

Set an appointment to have my ignition looked at. Next morning truck didnt have any power and I was stuck. Robert had me verify I had coverage for a tow truck and then had one at my house in 15 minutes to get it to the shop. Truck was fixed and on the road later that day. Stellar service.
