Wow, words can’t explain how amazing this dealership is. Matt helped me to purchase my first car and he was awesome. Matt was very kind and so helpful and I’m thankful to have had his help. Woody in finance was also extremely nice and made the experience even better. My experience here was wonderful and I’m loving my new car! I would definitely recommend this dealership.
My experience with Toyota was very positive. My salesman, Haney, treated me with respect, as did all the other salesmen. Masks were worn at all times which was important to me. I came in to see what was available in small trucks and was shown what was on the lot. I had not planned on using my car for a trade in, however, when told how much Toyota would allow, I changed my mind. I purchased a new 2021 Toyota Tacoma SV and love it. I do have one concern. The running board that came on my truck does not allow me to easily get into my truck, so I’ll have to have Toyota replace it with a different running board that is twice as expensive, and there will be an additional labor charge. This does not change my opinion of my overall experience, but I had hoped I would not have the added expense of the running board.I will recommend this dealership to my family and friends,

Ive called in over 5 times in the past 2 months. Each time they transfer me to the finance department. Each time no one answers and I leave a message. Never once has anyone answered or returned my call. Most recent time the service person on the phone hand delivered the message to finance to call me back. Still no callback. Wow. I told the service guy about this and he said it might be best to just stop by. Im over an hour away and you want me to stop by to ask a very simple, 2 minute question because your finance people are too lazy to answer the phone?
Staff was informative, friendly, and professional. Service helped break down what was going on with my car and was ready to answer any question I had. Definitely a trustworthy and dependable spot!
My service representative listened to my concerns, then checked the car in for analysis. She informed me of the findings. She (Shelia) also went over the services that were necessary and the options that were available for certain things such as tires. My overall experience was not so bad. I visited a bit longer then I wanted to but, after all, I call the morning of the service and Ray Brandt Toyota Service Dept. made room for me. I felt a bit special. I was looking at the Sienna online and I received a text message from a Melissa. I texted her back with no response. Then a gentleman calls me back so I thought it was a spam call and still waiting for Melissa to call me back. The sales gentleman, which was the one that called me, was very nice and pleasant. The finance officer however, through charged us $200 for something he said every Toyota had and we would get a discount on our insurance. We were not told it would cost us for that etching. I feel if you are going to charge the customer then it should be included with the car price and not while you are trying to finance the car. The next day my husband noticed there was what seemed to be rust spots so he took it in to get it looked at. They cleaned the one spot he showed you. I came home and the spots were all on the front end so I was highly upset that we have to bring it in another day and that the van would not have gotten a full glance by whomever was cleaning the spots off. Now, we have to take another day to get it cleaned.
I bought a vehicle from Ray Brandt Toyota, earlier this year. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, come to find out the steering clock spring was out. Even durning test drive and purchase. I brought it back and explained to the service department that it wasn’t working. I had explained expressed of a slight shake in steering wheel, front end as well. They fixed the clock spring issue, (which I’m grateful for) as I was told it was a safety issue so it would be fixed, that they’d fix it as it’s something that should of been fixed. Greatly appreciative of that, but over and over again I was told. Oh we checked the car out front to back, top to bottom you’re good to go. Over and over again. I was told that there’s no shake they could feel. Even though I drive the car more. So I trusted their judgement and word. Well still, now 5 months after purchase and I still have the shake in my steer wheel and it’s shakes violently from time to time more so than ever. I’d be very cautious on taking or purchasing a vehicle from here. Once the trust and word have been broken. What can you go off of? This highly makes me even hesitant to bring back the vehicle to keep up with future maintenance.Sincerely,A disappointed customer.
I have been coming to this place since 2017. Kind staff, wonderful people, good attitudes. However, the one critic I have is the lack of mask wearing during the pandemic. I have personally lost a lot of people during these hard times, and to see the staff at Ray Brandt casually, if NOT wearing a mask at all, is a turn off. That doe NOT mean their service and skills arent superb. 4.5 based on my last experience. I may change it if the next time I visit I have a different experience.
Erick in service always does a great job and I wouldnt let anyone else handle my car. Very professional and efficient, gets me in and out and makes it a painless experience. Would definitely recommend.
This place is full of vultures. Yes, I understand the culture of car salesmen however, my experience was not a pleasant experience at all. They were very pushy, disregarded any request I made and looked at me as a number and not a valued customer. It was VERY overwhelming to have 3 men standing over you watching you sign papers or flat out LYING about how much GAP insurance would be. As a woman and a customer, I was not heard and all they were focused on was trying to make a sale. A big purchase, such as a car, should not be rushed or hounded. After my warranty is up, I will definitely be trading my car in and getting a car that I actually love rather than a vehicle I was pressured into purchasing. I do not recommend...at all.
Do not go to this dealership. They drastically mark up their vehicles and “pretend” to offer you savings when in fact it’s just the MSRP of the vehicle. Check Kelly Blue Book values! The salesperson tried to tell me that they don’t make money on their vehicles, and I walked out and will be doing business elsewhere. You do much better at another Toyota location. The finance department will try and add in other packages without your knowledge as well. Just save yourself the trouble and don’t come here. The Louisiana Automobile Dealers Association needs to examine their sale and finance practices.

Tailgate lock issue. Diagnosed quickly, but had to order part. Called me within days to share part was now in stock. Schedule a service appointment. Took me a few minutes early. Issue was corrected in less than an hour. Service Manager Eric was great, very helpful.
This place literally did a bait and switch on us. We were told a vehicle would be there to test drive and it was sold on a previous day. They then promised to find another and after several hours were told we would have to go go Alexandria ourselves and get it. I would give them one star but the second saleman did make a legitimate effort.
I have never had a positive service experience at Ray Brandt Toyota. We purchased a Toyota Care agreement when we purchased the vehicle. They never run my vehicle through the car wash. Most of the time it takes awhile. The last time I told them I was leaving and would be back later. They called and left a voicemail when it was ready. TWO HOURS later when i returned, my vehicle was RUNNING and UNATTENDED in the parking lot. UNACCEPTABLE
Rude and lazy people it was like they didnt know what a job was much less what that job consisted of doing. They argued with me about my car being/not being there. Thats a WHOLE different company so I will stop right there with that, ultimately my car was towed from their lot (exactly where I told them it would be) to the correct dealership. I was taken care of VERY PROMPTLY !!!!!

We recently bought a 2019 Toyota Highlander from Ray Brandt with the help of salesman Abe Hassan. The dealership in general—and Abe in particular—made the experience of purchasing the vehicle easy. We came prepared with information about what we were looking for and what our budget was, and Ray Brandt was able to provide service that was fast, up front and honest, making the experience overall one that we were very happy with. We got a beautiful new car at a great price and will absolutely visit Ray Brandt the next time that we upgrade our vehicle!
We had to order a vehicle with those features important to us, which was not a problem. What was a problem was the inclusion of a billable unwanted accessory. Not a deal breaker, but irritating since we were very specific about the ‘build’ details. Also, the finance office was uncomfortably assertive regarding additional options (gap insurance, etc), which we made clear from the get go we were not interested in, but the finance person persisted (to no avail - but a waste of time, all around).
UPDATE: Ray Brandt replied that they have been in touch with me. They tell me if I remain unsatisfied to contact them. As of Sept 14, 2020 I have still not received a return call from the General manager. He does not return calls, messages or emails. My first payment on the vehicle is due in 3 days and I have not heard from the Finance Company, I do not have any information to make payment and Ive learned that The Finance Department does not return calls either. BEWARE AND AVOID!This place deserves zero stars. I purchased a vehicle with add-ons that I paid for but weeks later have not received. Communication with the salesman have been poor at best. Immediately after my purchase I received a form email from the GM stating that if I had any problems or concerns to call him. Multiple calls and messages have gone unanswered. I am a long time Toyota owner. However, this is my first and last time with this dealership. There are other dealers in the area. I recommend visiting one of them. UPDATE TO RESPONSE: I dont know who the dealer stayed in contact with, maybe each other, but had to keep making the calls. I was left in the cold for weeks. I am still waiting for my call to be returned from the GM as invited in his letter. And now the new issue is with Finance. I financed through Toyota Finance and the first payment is coming due. Ive received nothing, no information on how to set up this account or make payment. When I call, no one from Finance is available to assist. This place truly doesnt deserve a star.
They did excellent service on my truck in a timely manner, but the next day I realized that they forgot to hook up the computer to clear the maintenance code off the dashboard.

I think you should offer some seats outside for compromised and elderly people like me who are waiting for their cars to be serviced. I was waiting inside until someone near me began coughing profusely . I saw one person sitting in a chair outside and the kind receptionist told me I could do the same. I had some difficulty getting the chair outside when one of your sales people, a man much younger than I, told me, Be sure you bring that back inside. When my service rep came to get me, he told me to leave it there, that hed take care of it. That was nice although hed been rather curt earlier. My last Toyota was purchased and serviced at Lakeside where I found the personnel much more responsive and considerate.
My family has bought all of our vehicles from this location over the past decade. They have probably one of the best sales staff that Ive seen. The service center on the other hand is probably the worst Ive been to. I went there the yesterday after making an appointment online with all the services I wanted done. Which was a multi point inspection, oil change and car wash on my 2012 Toyota Sienna XLE. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment. They checked me and I told them the services I requested online. After 2 hours of waiting at the location the car was finally done. When I went to the checkout the bill was higher than I was expecting. After going through it they added a tire rotation which I didnt authorize. After talking with the staff they did remove it. Usually the car comes back washed after all the services. This time they didnt wash the exterior even though the machine was operating. When I asked the technician he said they were only doing detailing service if requested. I told them I did request on my online appointment. He replied with sorry the ticket is closed.
The best experience I ever had purchasing a new car. Chad and Angela were amazing. They made sure I got the car of my dreams. They did not stop until I was satisfied. I am definitely referring to everyone I know
My day at Ray Brandt Toyota was very well spent. My appointment was for 9am. I arrived on time and Mr. Doug got me in, asked if l was just dropping the car off because it would take 3-4 hours or more. I called my son for a ride, and Mr. Doug called me to say the car was ready to be picked up. I didnt have to wait at the dealership all day. Thanks so much.

I purchased my 2014 Sequoia Platinum from Ray Brandt and have been thoroughly pleased with the dealership from sales to service. My dedicated service professional (Harold) makes service easy and painless. My routine maintenance appointments can be scheduled online for my convenience and the one time I had a malfunction, I was able to receive immediate attention. The customer service lounge has very comfortable chairs with available charging ports for electronic devices, and there is always an array of complimentary snack options. I highly recommend Ray Brandt Toyota.
Absolutely horrible… Took me three days to get an appointment to have my oil changed… They put me on hold and never came back to the phone and then I was disconnected !.. I find they have unfriendly people that check you in !..And even though my SUV has less than 50,000 miles they are always pointing out something else it seems to need replacing !!
Well, we bought a brand new car! James was an excellent rep who we felt comfortable discussing details with. He was knowledgeable, easy going, and seemed genuinely happy for us.
Things are much better after getting another engine. There was a rubber guard that was taken off the rightside rear bumper.

The service manager was very busy, yet attentive. After realizing that I was at the wrong location, he went above and beyond and sent me in the right direction. This establishment was clean and family friendly! Im very observant and their customers seemed to be at ease while enjoying a comfortable environment!I hope that this review helps! Called to schedule an oil change, Allison who was on the phone was the worst. First time I called, she put me on hold & the call ended. The second time she picked up, she put me on hold again for over 5 mins! I hung up & she picked up again. When I ask to schedule an oil change she does not help but put you on hold. My husband had to pick up the phone & was able to schedule one fine with her. Terrible service!

I brought my 2005 Tacoma in for a recall, Rear Spring Replacement. I was told the frame was to corroided to do the job. I was left to deal with Toyota Corp. on my own. It would have been nice for the dealership to help resolve this issue useing their contacts and experience.
Both sales people that I worked with were fantastic, Amber and Jason. Each listened to my needs and were very knowledgeable about the features of each car that I took for a test drive. Neither were pushy, only exceedingly helpful. Woody was very patient with my questions regarding finance and ensured that I got a note that was affordable for me. Excellent customer service! I would recommend this dealership to friends and family.

Did not perform the multipoint inspection. This is not the first time this has happened. They checked that all fluids were full and when I got home and double checked, nothing was as stated on the check list. I wont be coming back again.

There used to be a man at my local gas station who was my go-to guy when I needed help with my car, but hes gone now, along with the full service business--its now a self-serve station with a fully stocked convenience store. I needed a replacement for my neighborhood guy and thats what Ray Brandt Toyota has become for me. I go there for the minor problems my local mister fix-it used to take care of, as well as for regular maintenance check-ups. And no matter why I pull into their service area, I know these things will happen:1. Ill be quickly greeted by a real person wholl ask me what I need(at my local station Id have to hunt for the guy, hoping he was therewhen I needed him)2. that person will listen and tell me someone will take care of me3. Ill go inside and speak to one of the service advisers--all of whom arepersonable and helpful--and Ill be given an estimate of how long it willbe before someone can look at my car (no service advisers at gasstation--if the guy was there, Id have to hope he had time to look atthe problem)4. Ill find a seat in the large waiting area--Im retired, so I wait. (Myneighborhood gas station didnt have any place to wait, so Id stand byone of the service bays doors in blazing heat, rain or, more rarely,freezing cold, and watch and wait.)5. the mechanic the cars assigned to will fix it and Ill go home (same asmy local gas station)6. if something more serious is found, Im told the problem and the timeand what it will cost to fix it and I decide whether I want the work done(didnt get major repairs done at local gas station)7. when I leave, I am confident that whatever I was concerned about hasbeen taken care of (same as my local gas station)I trust the people at Ray Brandt Toyota, and thats why I go there whenever I need help with my car.

Horrible place to buy a vehicle! Took them almost 2 months to call me about registering my vehicle the only reason they called me was to tell me they made typo on the address and to ask me to make up the difference in pay for taxes. Which I feel they should be responsible for due to them making a typo when inputting address on file to file for registration on the vehicle which was purchased 2 months ago. This is a horrible place that I won’t ever recommend to anyone! Plus I went through my credit union to purchase my vehicle. All they had to do was handle all the registration.
Mr. Jeff Lawrence was AMAZING!!!!! I walked on the lot looking for something else with more miles than what I actually drove off the lot with. Jeff made my first car buying experience very easy and non-stressful. Mr. Bang in the finance department worked out the best deal for me and my pockets and left me totally satisfied in the end. Got my tire changed. Everyone was friendly and service was quick. Only issue is they said my tire sensor wasnt working anymore since my tire blew out and tried to get me to get it checked. I told them another time, and less than two min on the road, the sensor reset and worked find. Kinda felt like they were trying to play me here...that or they didnt know that the sensor needed time to reset.

I asked the service department to check my tiires for air leaks when i dropped my car off and when I picked it up there was nothing on the paperwork indicating that they had performeed this service my air pressure keeps going down everyday on my tiress and I needed that checked

We we’re going to drive 3 hours to purchase a used vehicle when my husband saw an ad for Ray Brandt.We called to see if a particular 4Runner was available, they pulled it around and had it waiting for us...was very fair with trade negotiations and finance was a breeze!! We love our salesman James and Ivan in finance, we were in and out with a new car in less than a few hours!We totally recommend Ray Brandt Toyota and our salesman, James!!
Two years ago I decided to purchase a used 2012 Toyota for my wife from this dealership. Within the first year she had wheel,tire, and engine issues. I purchased the warranty however, I was told that it wasnt covered. In March we went back into the dealership and decided to trade in the 2012 Toyota and to get her a new 2018 Toyota. As a disabled Veteran it is important that my wife has a dependable source of transportation especially because she has Lupus and has had multiple heart surgeries. Within a few months we have had to go back to the dealership once again regarding tires and wheels. Again we were told there was no insurance to cover it. I was told to call Safe Guard. Safe Guard said to call the dealership round and round we go and no her car is parked not being driven. Im glad I decided not to purchase a second vehicle from this dealership. The lack of customer service, compassion, and appreciation for customers doesnt seem to exist. If we could give the car back and start over somewhere else we would.
Excellent and fast service. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and professional. Our salesman Pat Brown was amazing. He took care of everything I needed during my visit. He helped me so much with picking a new car. It was my first car buy so I appreciated all of his knowledge with everything. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back here for future purchases.

I love this dealership. I have bought new and used cars here over the last few years....6 to be exact! This last time was the 1st time I have dealt with Victoria and she was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the car that I ended up getting. She helped me understand all the new features that I would’ve had to look up how to do but she made sure I was comfortable with everything before driving off the lot and answered any questions that I had about it all. Provided a rental car and kept me up to date. when it took longer than expected Doug called advised and continued rental car for another day. He did a great job. My salesman Chris, was great! He was very patient when I was trying to find the correct combination of rims, moon roof and color. They have a great selection and overall this was a good experience.
This dealership is impossible to work with in any capacity. I bought a used car from the dealership. First, they do not honor the online estimate for your trade-in(even when they advertise that they will add to your instant trade-in estimate). There are no female sales people and the men are misogynistic creeps. The sales manager is an older “oh no, it’s a woman” jerk. They take the most you say you can pay and add a percentage. “Negotiations” consist of lowering your payments by how much more you can put down. Don’t call after the sale for any reason because the will not answer any questions about your extended warranty. They also misspelled my name twice on the registration. They kept saying they wanted me to buy my next car there. They are lucky I bought this one only because the advertised price was below others due to it being on the lot. Definitely not user friendly.

I can always trust Eric to tell me exactly what services I need done and nothing extra. Hes the most friendly and trust worthy person Ive dealt with in customer service, especially in an auto-shop. Your service department really is so very helpful and courteous...Tim Bellow is a wonderful addition to your staff..Last month he spent time helping me get my insurance claim sorted out and then this month, he once again cam through with flying colors helping get my head lights replaced.. We went to Ray Brandt Toyota to purchase my new Highlander. We worked with Pat Brown and could not have asked for a better experience. He has a wonderful personality and wasnt too aggressive of a salesman, which we appreciated. We initially came on a Saturday late in the day, and Pat met us with a smile. We test drove the car, and Pat was very knowledgeable about the car details and Toyota. We werent ready to make a decision that day, and there was no pressure from him. We went to a few more car dealerships, including another Toyota, and none of them gave the same level of service as Ray Brandt. We went back on Monday and asked for Pat. He had left for the day, but came back for us. Pat worked with us to get us to the best price for the car. Buying a car is never a fun process, but Pat and Ray Brandt exceeded our expectations. Richard also did a great job of explaining all of the car details to us. This is our first Toyota, and were excited to have it as our family car for years to come.
Purchased a car from the used lot across from the main dealership. My salesman Joe was awesome and got me a great deal. I have purchased quite a few cars in the past and this the best experience by far. Even the finance department gentlemen acted like he genuinely cared. No one here tried to sell me anything I didnt want. If youre buying used, ask for Joe!

I’ve bought a lot of cars over the years for myself and my six kids, I just want to say Angela Romain made my last experience the best.My daughter is very happy with her car.Walked in told Angie what I wanted and how much I was willing to pay. And how much I wanted for my old car. She got it for me with no B.S..Made me feel like I was visiting family while we waited. Everyone was extremely courteous and friendly. TRUCK HAD WARNING LIGHT COME ON. WE MADE APPOINTMENT AT 100 PM AN DROVE 2 HRS. TO RAY BRANDT TOYOTA AN WAS TOLD WE DID NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. THE NEXT DAY RAY BRANDT WANTED TO KNOW WHY WE MISS THE APPOINTMENT. I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO DRIVE 4 HRS. ROUND TRIP FOR NOTHING. POOR SERVICE UNACCEPTABLE. YOU COST ME LOST TIME AN GAS FOR 4 HRS. OF DRIVING.NOT HAPPY. WIFE NOT IMPRESSED WITH NEW TRUCK.

I was having trouble with my battery. I called the service department and they were able to look at my car right away. Tim, in the service department, was really helpful. The repair took a little while, but Tim would come by to give me updates and to see if I needed anything. He was able to have the issue resolved and get me back on the road. The customer service was great! Thanks Guys!!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere in this dealer. Everyone was so friendly and the managers were very helpful. I got assisted by Veronica Gomez, shes bilingual, and I have absolutely no complaint!!! Shes patient, understanding, helpful and so much more. She answered every question I had without getting irritated. I definitely recommend her to anyone going to buy a car there, whether you speak Spanish or English!
I have to say it is really ridiculous that the vehicle buying experience has to be this difficult. My initial salesperson was nice but beyond that, where do I start. These people will screw you every which way they can. They are untrustworthy and will only change something if it benefits them. They do not do what was promised from the salesperson, their response Well shes not in the finance department. My advice, have all your numbers straight before you go. If you have invoice prices, they will try to divert you to a specific monthly note which means you might be paying the retail price for the vehicle. So have all your numbers straight. Then when you get to the finance dept, if ANYTHING changes that you and your salesperson agreed on, you need to stop and walk out. That was my mistake. Dont get me wrong, I really like the vehicle but it could have been a better deal. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS...
I would say that Veronica the salesperson is the reason why I came to Toyota Ray Brandt to lease a car.I was with my friend while she helped him leasing his car, and it was a great experience, so when I decided to lease one myself, I didnt even thought of checking cars in any other dealership.Veronica is a straightforward, honest salesperson. She tried her best helping me to choose what car fits my needs the best, and then helped me getting through the process until I signed the lease and picked my car in a very reasonable time!I highly recommend Toyota Ray Brandt over all the other Toyota dealerships in the area, all the staff in Ray Brandt are nice, and they really care about their customers.I would come to this dealership to lease a new car over and over again.

Was in the market for a new vehicle and Ray Brandt Toyota met our needs in a courteous and professional manner. Our offer was satisfactorily negotiated and the 0% financing was a plus. Our sales rep, Ashante, was very knowledgeable and provided us with good info during out test drive of the Toyota 4Runner and Highlander. Woody was helpful in the financing part of the purchase. I have a 2013 Toyota tundra with a extended warranty. I’ve bought my truck brand new from the dealership. My truck has 80,000 miles on it. My check engine light came on in my truck and I brought it to the service department. “Tim helped me he’s a great guy” however the mechanics said that they think it was the gas cap so I bought a new gas cap because it wasn’t covered on the warranty. I left and the check engine light came back on so I brought it back to the dealership a few days later. Then the mechanics told me that the charcoal canister was bad on my truck. That was allegedly replaced. I left a dealership again and the check engine light came back on same code P0411. I spoke with Tim very polite very apologetic and told me to bring it back. Just so happen Tim was off work today. I called five times and I was unable to get in touch with anyone I finally called the new car sales and guess what they picked up on the first ring. I asked to speak with a manager I was on hold for 20 minutes while in route to the dealership. I spoke with the manager in person while I was on hold and in front the manager after 20 minutes the phone call dropped. Once again I need to leave my car with the dealership which is a big inconvenience but not a problem. I just want my truck fixed without the runaround. They got my money for the truck when I bought it, they got my money for the warranty and now no one‘s making money off of me so I feel like I’m on the back burner. FYI I do not want a free oil change I do not want a free Starbucks gift card I just want my car fixed without the problems and runaround. A Uber would help though because people can’t sit for days at the dealership waiting on y’all to figure out what’s wrong with the cars. I will also post a video..

Buying a car is fun but can be strife with details. Having said that, Amber Netto and Chad Legnon were awesome! They made the pain of buying a new car quite exciting and a whole lot less painful. They were very knowledgable, patient and determined to work with us to get things to our satisfaction as well as Ray Brandt Toyotas. My wife and I are very loyal to car dealerships that give us a wonderful experience. This is our second auto purchase from Ray Brandt Toyota and I feel certain that we will continue to do business for years to come.
