I had my kitchen completely remodeled by Grant Thompson Construction, along with new ceilings and hardwood floors installed throughout my house. They did an excellent job and the final results came out looking great – it’s like living in a new house! The subcontractors they selected all did great work, they all showed on time and were professional. Working with my project managers Ron and Chris was great – they kept me informed all along the way of any changes and had the entire project under control. Working with Tina on scheduling and costs went great as well – in the end, some contractors were a bit higher or lower cost but the total cost came out as expected – no surprises! I had originally selected Grant Thompson Construction based on all the exceptional reviews and would not hesitate to work with them the future on any projects, highly recommended – 5 star review all the way.

They did a bathroom gut and renovation for me. They did a wonderful job and once they laid out the schedule, they stuck to it. Like any reno there we issue along the way (additional demo, additional lights, scuffing to walls, etc) but they addressed each issue promptly and professionally. We ended up slightly over the initial estimate but they were fully transparent when there were cost adders letting us know right away. They constantly made sure we were getting what we wanted and did not push us to just get the job done. I would recommend them and would use them again for future renovations.

My parents had Grant Thompson Construction do a complete kitchen and half-bath remodel in their condo. The final results were beautiful! The entire crew was very accommodating and professional. My parents are both elderly and had concern about COVID and having the contractors in the house, but they took great care to require everyone coming in to mask up. They did quality work and did everything they could to make sure my parents were happy with the project. I was there during most of the work and can personally say they are great at what they do. Grant Thompson Construction did a large kitchen remodel and addition (2 bedrooms) on our house. The craftsmanship of the project was amazing. Chris is a fantastic carpenter and custom-built our massive island.We, unfortunately, experienced a large turnover of staff within the company which delayed our project extensively. Most sub-contractors were awesome (drywaller, painter, flooring, countertops, and concrete). The electrician (Packerland Electric) should NOT be hired again. The number of mistakes the electrician made and items not ordered in a timely manner was incredibly frustrating and ultimately delayed our final project.Grant and Tina were professional, courteous, and great communicators throughout the whole job. The cost was fair and we are very happy with the final project.

Grant recently did a bathroom remodel for us and we are very pleased with the end result. We had a specific budget and Grant worked with us and the vendors to ensure we would be satisfied with costs as well as the finished project. We are very pleased with the remodel projects that GrantThompson Construction completed on our home. We had both bathrooms updated as well as all flooring except for one room. Grant was very accommodating in juggling our schedules and working with the flooring company we hired. We didnt feel stressed at all. My Spouse and I knew what to expect and which trades were coming on specific days. Grant kept in touch with us on every step of the way. Our kitchen remodel was our first major renovation and were so glad we decided to go with Grant Thompson Construction. We had many questions in each phase of the process and their team was always prompt, reassuring, knowledgeable, and organized.They were patient with us through the planning phase (since this was our first big project and we were making sure we took our time on decisions) and never pressured us to move things along. We remodeled a master bathroom 2 years ago and Grant and Chris did a great job, We were very pleased with the workmanship and we love the look and get many compliments. We were kept updated on all the dates, and timeline. It was a very smooth process.

I worked with Grant Thompson Construction to remodel two bedrooms where we removed some existing standard closets and transformed the rooms to have walk-in closets. First thing Id say is they were very professional to work with at all times. Ive worked with several local contractors in the past. Grant Thompson by far has had the best communication of any local contractor Ive worked with (which I very much appreciated). They provided frequent updates and were very friendly. Sometimes even contacting me on weekends to keep things on track. Overall they were great to work with. Even the subs they used were great to work with. Everyone was always on time and very courteous. And the quality of their work met my expectations without any real problems to speak of. Any time something did come up, it was always brought to my attention immediately where we discussed it before any decision or action was made (usually related to design considerations or ideas....not usually unforeseen problems). As for costs, Id say it ended up being more than I had hoped for. At the same time it wasnt wildly higher than I had expected. That might have just been me underestimating what the effort would take. And to that end, sometimes you get what you paid for and I wanted it done right. At the end of the day I have no regrets about going with Grant Thompson. I was very happy with the outcome and process to get there from start to finish. I would recommend and use Grant Thompson Construction again for remodeling work if the need ever arises again.

Grant Thompson Construction did a very efficient and lovely remodel of my bathroom and updating of my kitchen within a months time! The bathroom remodel included replacing a tub with walk-in shower, replacing the vanity with a custom built vanity, counter top and under-mount sink, installing a ceiling exhaust fan, cutting the mirror down and building a frame for it and new flooring. Kitchen cabinet doors, drawers were replaced and pull-out shelves made and installed. New counter tops, black splash, under mount sink, flooring and microwave were installed. Lighting and all electrical outlets were updated as well as associated plumbing and painting.I am particularly pleased with the custom built vanity as it fits a specific space, has well constructed drawers and excellent hardware. Likewise with the kitchen cabinet drawers, pull-out shelves breadboard and doors. They are well constructed with dovetail joints, beautiful wooden interiors and hardware that withstands weight and wear. I love the beautiful maple breadboard!The entire crew worked together, were easy to communicate with and were able to complete the project within a months time!Kudos for a job well done!

From beginning to end they were professional, timely and my whole house looks better because of the kitchen. Now they do the bathroom and I am looking forward to it. 8-7-20 Now the bathroom is complete and, although the kitchen is fabulous, I like the bathroom even better. it was a magnificent job.. Grant Thompson construction did a great job working with us on the remodeling of our bathrooms. They worked with us and got us what we wanted for the design and helped advise on trends and possibilities. The project was finished on time and Grant even worked with us to handle some other mini projects we wanted done with the bathrooms like replacing our very dated kitchen lighting. I talked to Grant when I first thought about remodeling the house my new husband and I purchased 3 years ago. He was the only contracter to respond to my inquiry. Even though I said I wasnt ready to begin the project Grant was polite, encouraging and very professional. Two and a half years later when we were ready to undertake the project, Grant was the first person I called. He was gracious and professional and came in a very timely manner to give me a rough estimate. I thought the estimate was high and called for some more estimates. No other contactors returned my call. One, who was a friend of a friend, finally answered my repeated calls and told me he would not be able to look at our project for 5 months. When I described the project and the price I was quoted he said it sounded reasonable so I decided to go for it with Grant.From the moment I asked Grant what was next things proceeded like a well oiled machine. He explained the process and things went exactly as he said. He brought his project manager, a bunch of subs and solidified his bid. The price stayed basically the same and I was scheduled to meet with all the subs to pick out cabinets, hardware, countertop, flooring etc. We did decide to change the original remodel from full kitchen and bath to also include new flooring in the dining room and living room. The price only went up by the amount of the extra flooring.Things went on schedule with few hiccups. The work they did is beautiful and brings our home from the 70s fifty years forward to a contemporary home with a first floor laundry, coat closet, beautiful hickory cabinets and a pantry.If you need a job done and want it done effeciently with clear communication, Grant Thompson Construction are the people to call.

Own is very unprofessional and rude. I had some work that needed to be quoted out a specific for insurance and he was unwilling to cooperate and basically said that he was unwilling to work with us because insurance work is too demanding. I however wanted the entire bathroom remodeled on top of the insurance work, glad his true colors were shown before any contract was signed.

My project was a small master bath, total tear-out and remodel as well as updates to a main bath and carpet replacement in the bedroom and hallway. Grant Thompson and his crew were extremely easy to work with and offered suggestions on ways to save money, as well as pros and cons of different ideas and products.They were very flexible with my schedule and any last minute additions/changes.While it did end up costing more than I originally budgeted, that was all my doing as once I got out there and shopped for the look I wanted, it ended up costing more than I thought, but Grant and his crew certainly delivered more than I expected as well.I would highly recommend Grant Thompson Construction, and Im sure Ill have them back to do other projects in the future.

He was present on the first day the job started as well as the day of completion. He stopped in after each step to be sure we were pleased, and also to be sure his standards were being met. We needed a new tub/shower and new flooring due to leakage and general ugliness. Grant and his team were very responsive and easy to deal with. The plumbers, drywaller, painter, and flooring guys all coordinated their schedules and did excellent work in a timely manner for a very fair price. Had Grant as our contractor on a kitchen remodel. Things got done in a hurry. Seven weeks from start-to-finish, this included new cabinet doors & drawer fronts, strip/repaint base cabinets, new counter top, & sink new back splash, LED lighting, soffit renovation, and floor tile repair. Our house became a conga line of craftsmen doing their thing. All courteous and professional and fast. I am very happy with the work.

Grant and his team took our 1960s kitchen and brought it into the 21st century. We had the soffits removed and went with new cabinets all the way to the ceiling. We didnt stop there, they removed old pocket doors and opened up dining area, removed old rubber trim work (which they matched with the original trim and stain throughout the house from 1960), removed old flooring, original lighting and plumbing. Be sides the new upper and lower cabinets we added quartz countertops by Cambria, dishwasher and backsplash throughout kitchen area.To say we are happy is an understatement!!

We couldnt be happier with the work Grant Thompson Construction did for us. We did two separate, relatively large projects at the same time: one interior and one exterior. Grant provided a quote with exactly the amount of detail we needed, and he came up with a plan to make it happen.The exterior project had a few hiccups along the way (as we discovered unexpected issues along the way, which is unavoidable), but they were handled expertly, and with some clever moves by Grant, we stayed on budget.The interior project (finishing the basement) turned out so much better than we could have hoped for. Chris, the foreman on the job, came up with really very smart solutions for the inevitable problems that popped up down there. And all of the subs (drywall crew, plastering crew, painters, electrical, flooring, and touch up) were professional, informed, and quick!Going with Grant was the best decision we could have made when we decided to invest in our home!

Needed a basement bathroom finished and looked to homeadvisor. Homeadvisor sent me a message saying Grant wanted to bid my work. Took a half day from work. Grant pushed our appt back an hour, didnt bother me one bit. I get an email three days later he doesnt want the work and declined to bid. Complete waste of my time.
