First and foremost I most say I never take the time to write reviews. The simple fact that I’m doing this now says a lot. I brought my BMW series 4 in to have work done on the intake pipe. As you all know maintenance on a BMW can already be expensive. I bought the part online and brought it to the shop. Unfortunately I found out the piece had a manufacturing issue and would not fit my vehicle. Even worse I would not be able to put the old piece back on due to the damage. Regardless of this they went above and beyond to try to find a solution. They took my intake pipe and manually hammered and shaped it to fit my vehicle. 1) I can tell you this no other shop would take the time to do this, and 2) I was paying for 2 hours of work and they labored my part for about 4. Through trail and error they miraculously got the part to fit. Making my vehicle drivable and giving enough time to buy a better part! I want to take the time to say thank you guys! Thanks for helping a 8 year combat veteran in my time of need.

Changed alternator. Were given clear estimates for cost if using parts provided by shop or part bought by yourself. Service charge is ok, not cheaper nor more expensive than other shops. Shop is clean. Customer service is courteous.

I was treated fairly, professionally, and promptly. I went in for a pre 96 safety inspection. I have been (not current) an A.S.E. Certified Master Technician. I watched closely while my Mothers vehicle did actually get checked. What I liked about this is that the shop performed the requested task while failing to give me a list of what I already knew was wrong (they did find it, they just did not try to over sell).Lets see how a rear main seal and Torque converter seal job goes. Ill be back, because Im lazy.

Just moved to Katy from Massachusetts and these guys were so helpful and efficient with getting the state inspection done and sorting an issue with the AC. Gave us a quote to the penny, which they didn’t go over and had the work completed early. I’ll be using them next time I need anything done with my car for sure.

UPDATEFollowing my response Jim called me and said that they would try and make it right. Promised to make it right and that the next oil change oils be free. I contacted the VW dealer who confirmed that since I caught it soon that likely no permanent damage would be done to Emissions System. We’ll keep on eye on it. Thanks GuysORIGINAL POSTUsually excellent experiences with Autocheck but for some reason the mechanic put 8.5 quarts of oil in my VW Jetta????? The only thing they said was sorry and that they will refund the value of the extra oil the next time I come to visit. Not sure what engine damage was done as I drove away heavy smoke was coming out of the exhaust and the Emissions ERC light came on. Sorry Henry but your boys screwed up and all I got was a promise of a refund for the EXTRA oil.

Went in at end of day to get inspection done for title transfer. They were fast, professional and thorough.

They showed us pictures on what needed to be fixed on our car, and everybody there was super helpful and informative. Would definitely come back again for all of my car needs.

Very professional and good value. I came in thinking my oil pan was leaking. They checked and found it was my valves. They quickly replaced the gaskets with quality parts and it served my wife well on a 3000 mile trip.

Auto check was good with me, and I was really pleased with my last time there. I had taken my vehicle to another place not too far away that was constantly telling me my car was on the verge of death, short of an insane number of repairs... it wasnt. My car just needed some TLC. It was still spendy but they talked me through all of it and my car is running like a champ again. And it cost about 40% less because they didnt try to upcharge for things I didnt need. Honesty: High.

I have been using another auto shop to service all my vehicles. I started using Auto Check very recently, so I have limited experience so far. Based on the two services I had within a week, they were able to fix the problems quickly and charged reasonably. David was my point of contact. He provided 3 options for fixing the mirror problem which potentially can save $ hundreds. He even tried a quick fix and solved the problem and charged me $0! He also kept me updated with vehicle repair statues. Based on my limited experience with Auto Check, I highly recommend them to anyone!

I tried this service because it right near my apartments. But continue using it even after I moved to another place. Why? Because they care. They dont try to find unexcited problem, they dont try to charge you for just breathing. They help you save money: few times the said me: we can do it, but it would be better to go to the dealer service, and you will be able to get same service for free (because of warranty). In the same time this guys are reliable, few times I attended dealership service and this one with the same problem, and all the time I got better result in Auto Check.Thanks guys. This place is THE BEST by far! I have a family member who is a professional mechanic and unfortunately lives in another city. Love Henry. He has always been nice to my family and me. He always asks about my husband. I had a problem with my sons car having a low tire and I needed to use it. Called and asked if I could bring it in for them to air it up. Henry said to bring it in. Well the tire ended up having a nail in it and needed patch. Too far less time than I anticipated. I always am treated respectfully and they take the time to explain the service. Facility is clean and you can see through the window what is occurring in the garage. They are friendly and lay out options/ pricing in front of you without pressure and open to questions.

Been taking my vehicles to AutoCheck for a few years and have never had an issue with the work they do. My only issue is with the way they over charge for everything. I get that you need to make money as a business but charge your customers 2 or 3 times the going rate for parts and work is over the line. After being charged a lot of money for repairs to my truck I decided to do a little digging and found that they charged me over double the price for parts I found on Amazon and other auto parts stores. They also charged me $60 on top of the $1k plus for the parts and labor to diagnose the issue when I told them what what was wrong with my truck when I dropped it off. When I picked up my truck they gave me a quote for another $1500 in repairs that needed to be done on top the $1k I just spent. After doing a little youtube research I was able to do the repairs myself with parts bought from Amazon for $260. They wanted over $600 for the parts alone.The quality of the work they do is excellent in my opinion but its not worth it to pay double or triple the price of what it should cost. I will never bring my vehicles back to them for service or repair and I recommend you dont either unless you just like over paying.

My truck left me stranded the other day, so I had it towed here. Middle of the morning, no prior appointment etc. They got my starter replaced and got my truck back to me in just a few hours. They were nice enough to even give me a ride home and pick me up when it was all done ( I live nearby). Ive used them in the past for other things, and theyve always been good. I was looking for a locally-owned business with high quality care and thats exactly what Ive received here. When you walk in, the business is clean and the customer care is top-notch! The service was great and efficient. I only needed a minor fix in my car that required 3 screws. They charge me with nothing....very considerate. I did not have to wait long too.

Good service on a challenging oil leak. The waiting area is clean and quiet. The mechanics seem very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in terms I can understand.

The folks here have always done right by me. Service takes about as long as they tell you it will, they keep the charges reasonable, and theyre happy to answer questions. I like it enough that its where I take every vehicle for inspection and maintenance now. Finding an auto shop that you like and trust isnt easy, so for me its a 5-star all the way.

My car broke down on 99 north of Katy. I had to have it towed for repair. The tow truck driver recommended Auto Check Cinco Ranch so he left my car there with my name and phone number since they were closed. Bright and early the next morning I received a call from David and I told him what had happened. They looked it over called me back with an estimate and I picked the car up that afternoon. Historically went to dealerships for service. After several bad experiences, finally decided to try a local shop. Picked Cinco Ranch Auto Check after reading many positive reviews. First visit was sort of a trial as only needed a tire repair. They got me in and out in 30 mins. Price was reasonable and they were very professional and friendly. I will be back.

Been coming here and taking my wifes car here for many years because there price and service is good. I called for a price quote to change my break pads and rotors 2 months ago. They quoted around $450.00. So last week I took my car there then the new employee woman called me said the total was $640.00. I told the woman that I was quoted around $450.00 when I called. She said there was nothing she can do she just works there. Talking about customer service! Then later scott called saying the price is now $750.00. In my mind, I was thinking these guys are trying rip me off. I then told him the price that the woman gave me and he put me on hold then came back that he made mistake and the price is still $640.00 which was still expensive. I contacted 3 shops and 2 dealerships told them the same exact parts used and all of the quotes were much cheaper. Even the dealer was cheaper.This is very disappointing especially We been coming here for many years. I feel like I just got ripped off.
