Great experience. They picked up and returned the 🚗 car to my garage because I have some mobility issues. They test drove the car and when they couldnt reproduce the problem called me for more information. They then checked codes and found nothing. They called with final report and recommended strategy and returned my car my garage. There was no charge despite the amount of time spent on car. On the phone and in person they were polite, respectful and helpful. I couldnt be more pleased.

It was my first visit since we are new to the Katy area. It was easy to make an appointment, I showed up 10 minutes early and they took my truck right in and started early. The business and work stations were very clean, everyone was courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Booked appointment online and then went in to the business the day of my appointment. They could not find my appointment but took me in anyway. They got my oil changed and had me out the door in less than 45 minutes.

I have gone to CB before and my experience has always been indifferent but I just got off the phone to the most disagreeable person! I know nothing about cars and I was antagonized when the person said you think?. In a condescending tone, I was lost for words. I hope CB can look up our conversation around 10pm today. At times I felt I had to apologize for my ignorance. I kept a calm and polite demeanor about everything but the call left a sour impression. If you have thick skin then go to CB but I can not recommend this place for people who wants things explained clearly without judgement.

I was in town and saw the special they were running and needed an oil change. Although, I had a free oil change from my dealership, I chose to use Christian Brothers. They worked me in and I was out within 45 minutes. They charged me the quoted price. I was very satisfied with their customers service.

Very disappointed, took my 2015 Toyota sienna because the transmission was slipping and I got a code related to a transmission solenoid. They said they have to replace all the solenoids, plus the solenoids valve body, plus reprogram it, for a grand total of $4,000.I then took it to the Toyota dealer in Katy, it turned out I had an shaft axle seal leaking, and therefore the transmission fluid was low. They replaced the seal and re-filled the transmission fluid, THEY DID NOT HAVE TO CHANGE ANYTHING WITHIN THE TRANSMISSION. I ended up paying 10 times less than the Christian Brothers quote.This tells me that the guys at Christian Brothers didnt even put the car on a lift, because the leak was quite obvious from underneath. They went the lazy, old fashion charge as much as you can way.Dont get fooled by the name, I wont ever take my car there again or recommend anybody to take theirs

I stopped in to get an estimate to replace my cv axles and was quoted a price nearly half the price of estimates I received from other local mechanic shops. I decided on the spot to get the work done at this shop and they finished up the work in less than 3 hours. I might say this is the best experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic and I plan to come back if I need more work done on my car.

The sitting area is always super clean, relaxing and welcoming. I totally trust the staff to do excellent work at the most fair price. They will never recommend work unless its really needed. I wont go anywhere else

Great service! Took my car to a dealership for a recall and they told me I needed to replace fan belts immediately. Went to Christian Brothers for a 2nd opinion. They did a free inspection and told me no issues with the belts.

First time there, as my car alternator belt randomly broke down, seems reasonably priced and good service.

Christian Brothers is my default place to go for my automotive needs. They are polite, courteous, punctual and dont oversell. They will tell you whats needed and will leave you the space to decide. Will be a returning customer unless their quality levels go down.

I used their service for AC recharge. They did a great job and their staff are very friendly.Their price is very competitive compared with other service providers in the same area.

Although the service was fast and the web site made setting an appointment easy I was distressed that no masks were worn by staff and patrons waited in a small indoor area with no masks. I waited outside as I appreciate businesses that care about my health, that of thier essential staff and other patron’s. I will not use this business in the future. Very short sighted.

This is a True story... my car blew up on the way from Austin, TX to Florida... the guys at Christian Brothers helped me deal with a problematic tow-truck driver who had trouble taking simple directions... CB went out of their way to help me get the car into their lot after business hours... then they inspected it first thing in the morning (as i was stranded in a hotel, trying to figure out my next move)... turns out it was as bad as it seemed, the car gave up the ghost and blew a rod... so now im carless in a strange town and have to find a way to donate this 2000 pound lifeless steel carcass to someone who can use it... CB brothers took care of it for me, donating to the Purple Heart Car Donation (supporting Veterans)... i was stressed out as my entire travel situation was completely off-the-rails, and they made the entire problem very easy to deal with... i dont think i have ever felt a mechanics garage remind me of a trustworthy place, but the guys at Christian Brothers are just down-to-earth dudes that handle business without having to think twice... capable shop run by good people. 🙏

Brought my vehicle in for a mysterious coolant leak and they were able to diagnose where it was coming from very quickly. They were even able to get the Euro spec parts for the vehicle by the next day and have it installed and ready to go. What the dealer wanted around 1500 for christain brothers was able to do for about 350. Plus they keep you updated with text messages so you dont have to pay telephone tag to get an update about your vehicle. Plus the 3 year warranty on the repair is a nice touch. Will definitely use and recommend them in the future.

I have used this location for my State mandated vehicle inspection for 5 years and the staff at this location always deliver excellent service. Wait time is minimal, and my vehicle is always ignition ready to go. I also enjoy the occasional warm cookies served while waiting on service.

They were amazing! Car was jumping down the road and I was scared to death. Was on my way to the dealership for a set appointment and I knew I wasn’t going to make it that far. They hurried and checked it for me, told me it would have to go to the dealership due to the code they were getting. Offered to let me leave it there so the tow truck could come get it. Didn’t charge me and were overall just great! So appreciative, especially when many auto repair places take advantage of women customers (in my opinion). Thank you again!

On 07/10/2020 I brought my car to Christian Brothers Katy Firethorne with a vibration problem on the steering wheel. I thought it was a matter of alignment and balancing, but it turned out it was the tires (which I was not told at the place where I went a month earlier with the same problem. They just proceeded with the alignment and sent me home with the same problem, twice). At Christian Brothers Firethorne they suggested changing them and I accepted. The problem was resolved. The point is, they were extremely honest in telling me that my car didnt need alignment. On the other hand, they dont have the tires in the store, so they went to buy them, they installed them, they tested my car and then gave me the keys to leave, all for an excellent price and with unmatched attention. This process took a while, so I had to take a zoom meeting at the store for which the owner, Stephen Williams, allowed me to use his office. Thank you Stephen.If you want to receive excellent service and at a fair price, do not hesitate to go to Christian Brothers Katy Firethorne. I can assure you from my own experience that Stephen, George, Roger and all the staff will take great care of you.Thank you all !!!!

Christian Brothers customer service is TOP NOTCH! I had a window motor replaced yesterday. Same day service and they shuttled me home and delivered my car when repairs were complete. Then, I go to start my car today and the battery was completely dead. Roger and Damian came to my home to jump and check my battery and even escorted me to get a replacement and install it there in the O’Reilly’s parking lot. This was after hours on the Friday of a holiday weekend. They truly care about their customers and they will be my first call for any vehicle repair needs in the future.Thank you to Steve, Roger, Damian and the entire Christian Brothers team for going above and beyond for your customers!

My tire pressure light came on and I took my car to this facility. I was greeted kindly when I expressed my delima and was immediately helped by Matt. He filled all four tires. He was pleasant and listened to my concerns. I love this business and always feel confident taking my car to them.

Christian Brothers rebuilt my engine in my 78 Bronco and did a spectacular job. Rey always kept me updated when issues popped up. CB is one of the very few Automotive Shops that are Honest. Also, your vehicle is not in the shop for a long period of time. I took my Mothers buick to have shocks installed, had it back the same day. A while back, took it to buick for the same service, and they had it for almost 3 weeksI highly recommend CB even for minor maintenance on your vehicle(s)THANKS STEVE AND REY!!

Rodger and the other professionals he works with were extremely helpful to us when service was needed to our anti-locking brake system. We received quick and friendly expert service and felt like we were treated like valued customers. We will definitely return the next time our Toyota Siena needs any more maintenance work or repairs! They keep a clean place by wiping it down with disinfectant’s to be sure it is safe for the customers and the people that work there.

I reached out to them via their messaging service requesting a quote to replace the steering intermediate shaft on my 2008 Ford Taurus, however I never had the courtesy of a response. I am extremely disappointed.Update, I received a response from the manager and he apologized for the none response to my inquire, and I subsequently received a call from one of his technician and was assured that I will receive a quote for the replacement of my steering shaft. Ergo, I am hereby officially withdrawing my complaint as my confidence in Christian Brothers Automotive has been restored.

Very nice costumer service that did the job at a very reasonable time and recommended services only if needed. Not too pushy. Loved that part. Super hospitable with coffee and snacks on hand for those long waits. My only complaint(not really) is the waiting room up front is small for the amount of bays servicing vehicles if more people stayed until work was done. Not sure if there were more in the back. If so, I retract that complaint lol. Oh and their online service records and notification service are second to none. All repair services should have that feature.

Nothing better can be said about this group of individuals. They were all so hospitable and even helped me get home when my car had to stay overnight. Came in for an oil change and the same day my truck stalled out at the light. Low oil lights came on and I was stuck. Got all kinds of misdiagnosis when I reported it back. They claimed I didnt have any gas, My gas meter was broken, etc. 700 dollar repair that they claimed they had nothing to do with. We did what you asked us to do. Obviously Im never coming back again. Ill never know if they really know if they did something wrong or if it was just awful timing. But I only drove 40 miles after I got my oil change when the truck stalled out what else am i supposed to think. The whole incident was unfortunate. I would avoid this place, wouldnt recommend to anyone

Great experience! The staff was incredible. They offered complimentary tire rotating with my brake service and a car wash! The staff was very accommodating in getting me to and from work. I had two vehicles I got serviced today. Matt helped me and was very friendly and customer service oriented. They serviced both vehicles quickly and gave me a courtesy ride home & back AND delivered my second vehicle. I highly recommend this business!

Beware!!! They wanted over $500 to replace a thermostat. The part is a $30. The first auto repair place I called wanted $200 for the same service.Update: I was called by the manager today. He admitted they quoted me too high and revised the quote. The revised quote was still 28% higher than the place I had the work done. Christen Brothers also they charged me $99 to give me an inflated quote (by the way, the place I took my car only charges $49 for the same service and they waved the fee). The manager never offered to do anything. He only said they did not like negative reviews. It was very obvious the manager did not care about me he only cared about this review. The only reason this review is negative is it is the truth. Again if you dont mind being gouged they may do fine work. But if you want to have your car serviced by some who is fair and cares about customers I would suggest you keep driving.

Always friendly and professional never a problem

Took a car in for an alignment & prior to performing the service, was instructed repairs totaling $950 were needed, minimum was $500. Did not have the work completed that day but scheduled a future appointment. Upon my return, was told by Nick a service advisor, original diagnosis was incorrect & further analysis was needed(more than likely to my advantage) After a day & a half, was told a second tech assessed the car and new repairs were identified totaling $2,900.. How can you trust a shop when major discrepancies exist in the repair analysis & the changes do not concern the owner or staff? For both appointments made over the phone with Jim, I brought the car to them, but was later advised by the owner Steve, they provided a car pickup & delivery service. Why was that not an option for me when making the appointment? Jim wasnt even sure they could take me home 10 miles away, while repairs were completed, however Steve advised that was not a problem & was a typical benefit? Ultimately decided against the repairs, as was completely uncomfortable with the situation and service staff.. Further, when I picked up the car with a friend who is more familiar with repairs, their story changed & was told the initial alignment could be performed without the repairs, but might be a bit off?? Experience included numerous diagnostic inconsistencies, red flags, & poor communication by service staff to ever consider this CBA location for car services.UPDATE- after this review was posted, owner called and emailed me apologizing for my experience and offered to pay for their bogus repairs at no cost... unbelievable considering he knew exactly what was happening and more than likely encouraged his staff to increase the repairs needed to perform the alignment. In the end I declined returning to CB for any services and went to Smith Auto in Katy where I got a great alignment and tire rotation for$100 and remarkably no additional repairs were needed as required or suggested by this CB location....Go see Brian at Smiths as they are a family owned business with integrity, little wait time and great prices...

Christian Brothers in general is a great chain with amazing values, but this franchise especially ROCKS! The techs were courteous, the atmosphere was amazing, and the franchise owner, who was onsite when we came by (I think he introduced himself as a Mr. Williams?) was really awesome. Overall, this was by far the best experience I have had so far with a car repair shop in a long time!
