This place was awesome. I received a very detailed report of the repairs or maintenance needed on my vehicle. They provide video modules to better explain why the repairs are needed. Very reasonable in cost. They got everything completed very quickly and updated me the entire way. I will definitely use this company again. Joshua was very professional and friendly!
I came in for a state inspection on September 24th and was quickly greeted by the front desk. Within a few minutes everything was ready to go and I didnt have to wait long for the service. Luckily, I was the first in line so they were able to get the inspection done without any delays. Will definitely be going back soon. Thank you CBA for providing me with great service.
I made an appointment for an oil change the previous day. When I arrived at the appointment, my vehicle was taken into the bay immediately with no waiting. The service reps at the front desk were cordial and professional. As I waited for my car, while it was being serviced, I received text messages letting me know what was going on with the car. Once the service was complete, I received a complete summary of the detailed work and additional information regarding things that needed to be done on the car, along with an estimate. Also, in addition to receiving the text info., the rep took time to verbally explain what I had received as well as take notes on some of the answers I was providing regarding the vehicle. I recommend this place. My synthetic oil blend oil change was $39 before taxes, etc.
Outstanding repair job on my steering noise. Turned out to be the lower control arms & the repair and re-alignment was done competently. Also brake service & tire repair done at the same time. I had a chauffeur back to the shop & was able to use one of the mailer coupons to boot. I should have done this a long time ago as my car now drives like new - Thank you Christian Brothers & Bruce (mgr).
I had damage done to my oil pan, elsewhere, when getting my oil changed. I went to Christian Brothers and they gave me an estimate and took my car right in. They gave me a shuttle ride home, picked me back up the next day when it was done and worked with the company that did the damage and allowed them to pay for my repairs directly. Customer for life now!!

Then all of sudden I remember one time whilst in VA before relocating to TX, a friend told me about the CB so I decided to give them a try. Its amazing how one of their technicians Jose Gonzales and Lorenzo Bahena the Service Writer sent me a complete Digital Vehicle Inspection Report text message listing categorically everything I need to take care of. I was very impressed with the inspection report detailing what was recommended with actual pictures so I could see the issues and decide what I wanted them to work on. Their free shuttle service was excellent and very accommodating to our needs especially when my wife had a physical therapy appointment that she had to go to.There prices were normal and I appreciated that I didn’t felt like I was being taken advantage of.
They are very clear about what needs to be repaired before they do the work. They send you text updates, and will respond if you test them questions. They tried to give me the best prices they could and I really appreciated that.
Joshua was very helpful with letting me know what my vehicle needed. I received pictures and video of why my vehicle needed service. He called and we went through each detail of the service and even spoke about services the dealership said I needed but was not necessary which saved me money. I feel they are a very honest company to work with.

My first time having work done on my vehicle. Provided professional and couteous service. A little long on the turnaround for my repair of 1-wheel bearing took 2-3 days. As for the cost, expensive but worth it!
Customer service is good but I had to come three times because the 1st time it was my wheel bearings and my ac was blowing hot air. Second time was After it was all “fixed” they did a test drive apparently and it was ready to pick up. As soon as I started driving faster, the wheel bearing in the front was loud litter ally sounded like an airplane hard to ignore they said they didn’t notice the sound during the test drive.So the rear ones were changed but the front ones were not checked. Third time I went is because my ac stopped working after a long time and I had to take it again to check it and now it was the evaporator sensor. Since the 1st time i came here and they fixed my ac I noticed the ac valve caps were missing. These 2 other times I visited i had mentioned “hey y’all forgot to put them on” I got a “no problem that’s very simple to put on, well put them back on right now” I noticed today when trying to put Freon that the valve caps are gone STILL and so I called and they said they have to order the caps and I can pick them up tomorrow. Honestly I should’nt have to do that should have been replaced when they told me they were going to put them. And I was never missing those caps to begin with. They could’ve put my old ones back on. I feel the employees should slow down and double check and to check thoroughly that everything is fine before saying the car is ready. This will be my 4th time coming in tomorrow. I spent over $2,400 dollars here and I understand that there’s warranty involved but you really most likely won’t need it and especially if you don’t want to come back here but oh well. I would say go somewhere else or buy the pieces yourself and take it somewhere where they can easily fix it for you. It’s just kinda frustrating. It’s the little things that matter. Recommend that everyone should be more thorough and check things carefully and not rushed. If I could have the old pieces get put back on again and go somewhere else with I would. Unfortunately the damage is already done to my wallet. I definitely would recommend to help the smaller businesses out instead. I don’t really need an apology or a reply back explaining how your business works. Just talk to the staff and make sure they are being more careful and to make sure everything is good before a car is released to a customer. My dad went through the same thing and it was with his transmission and he also had to go several times because they fixed other things that were not even the problem.

This place has the worst service I have ever seen. My husband dropped off his work vehicle for general repairs and of course as we expected they called and told us that it something else. Well the total bill came up to be about $1700.00. We waited for the call to pick up the truck the next day and then they told us something else was wrong (after they fixed it for a day) they told us we need to do another test on it which would have charge us another $100. We decided to go up there to the shop and then they told us oh no its a bad spark plug (which was something they were fixing anyway because we were getting a tune up) we paid our $1700! The next day my husband works 2 hours away from Katy had oil leaking from his work truck and it was all over his engine! He called the shop furious and they told him to tow his truck back to them, or continue to put oil in his truck on his way back to them, or take it to another shop in the area he works in and they would pay the differences. The manager stated that if my husband tow the truck back to the shop they would fully reimburse us and after spending $350 on towing they told him that they didnt say. Then they told us that we had to pay another $48.00 for some other part after getting the truck back up there for something that went wrong on their end. Still waiting on the check that they could not cut in their shop for the towing and now their stating that they have to mail it to us! You would think that when you spend this type of money with them they would treat you better. Especially because we took my vehicle two weeks prior and spent another $600 and then my husband spent $1400 a year prior on the same vehicle! We would not recommend anyone here for service...we are very disappointed! and not one apology. The absolute worst and dont know why they treated us so poorly!
I generally knew the components and problems going in, they inspected & verified my understanding of what parts were the problem. I paid for and they gave the rest of my vehicle the inspection it deserved and provided me a list of other work that needs attention. They empowered me with the ability to select actions and expenses. Service and repair is what I sought and they provided.

From the moment I started interacting with this place over the phone I was treated with professionalism and courtesy. We had 3 vehicles that needed safety checks and one ended up needing work. We were dealt with honestly and the service writer let us know absolute necessity repairs vs. what could wait. We were impressed with the overall price and so far the quality of the work. This is the third Christian Brothers automotive that Ive been to in the past three years. Main reason Ive switched is only because Ive moved to a different area but every single location Ive been to has had the same quality as the one before. Thats the reason why I keep coming back.I was very surprised when I was able to get in for an oil change and inspect my car the same morning. I fully expect it to be told I would have to wait but they were able to work me in and did a very quick and thorough job. I really appreciate the quality and thoroughness of their work.

I had my cars engine and transmission mounts and washer reservoir replaced here. The pre-service inspection took about an hour but was very detailed and meticulous. The price was fair and car repairs were done on time. I was given shuttle ride to and from my home. Overall, I enjoyed their professionalism and would recommend this place.

Christian Brothers North Katy always delivers exceptional service and quality! I recently had my vehicle serviced for maintenance and they made it so easy. I was able to drop off my car and continue on my day with my busy schedule and then easy pick up afterwards. They even have a shuttle. I also had my other vehicle serviced back in October and they found some small repair that was required. It turned out to be a quick fix so they did not even charge me for it! I am so grateful that we finally found an honest and reliable auto shop. I love their text alerts too!

Ive been going to CBA N. Fry Rd for years now for maintenance and repairs. Theyre always very honest and detailed on what needs to be done to your vehicle. I used to take my car to the dealership for repairs until I gave CBA a try. They do stay busy so please call ahead of time to book your appointments.

Great customer service! I pulled up with my classic plate vehicle (which I hardly ever drive) and I had forgotten my face mask.. I poked my head in the door and they were very understanding which I was thankful for. It is something that I feel strongly about and hated putting them in that position. I needed my tire pressure checked prior to driving out of state, and while there, decided to have the state inspection done as well. I waited in the clean, comfortable waiting area, and can also say that the restroom was immaculate. The young man at the desk was courteous and professional, and my services were completed promptly.
I was greeted by a friendly gentlemen by the name of Brent who promptly assisted me. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and answered all questions regarding pricing and availability. The service is A+ on all fronts. The technicians were able to quickly remediate my issues and get me back on the road in no time. This is a follow-up to a post I did regarding my experience at Christian Brothers Automotive on Rayford Road in Spring, TX a week or two ago. After I wrote the post, I received a phone call from the owner of these two franchises. He was genuinely interested in the issues I posted and said he would look into them. I was basically incredulous that my service writer would say that the car manufacturer would post a technical bulletin that would state as a remedy for the problems we were having as 1) checking the oil every 500 miles and 2) Production Solution - Not Applicable. I now hold that service bulletin in my hand thanks to the owner of these two stores. I have apologized by phone to the service writer and will gladly go back to them for future needs and apologize to him in person. Thank you Christian Brothers Technicians, Service Writers and Owners for your integrity and for caring enough about my concerns to treat me as if I were important to you and in spite of the mis-information given to me by the local dealer for my automobile walking us carefully through the manufactures service bulletin relating to the repairs done on our vehicle and helping me to understand that what we were told is true according to the service bulletin and what they did and are asking us to do is necessary. My sincere apoligies to my service writer at Rayford Road - Bryain and my sincere thans to Mr. and Mrs. Jordan for their thoughtful and I am sure tedious follow-up with their employees to get the answers I needed to the questions I had regarding my charges, the work done and the recommendations we were given. The staff was super friendly, and let me know they are dog friendly. I took my 1 year old lab with me, and they gave him a treat and offered me to sit indoors. They told me there were cars in front of me, but still managed to get me in and out in 45 minutes. My first time here but I’ll definitely be going back!

I recently moved to Texas from Louisiana so I needed a trustworthy place to do regular maintenance and repairs on my Honda Accord! I’ve been to about 3 different places in the last 6-8 months and I never felt safe there. Being a woman, I feel automotive places try to take advantage. I didn’t experience that with Christian Brothers. They were honest and affordable! I’ll continue to do business here!

Christian brothers north Katy is always great. I went in for an oil change which I had scheduled ahead of time and upon arrival was immediately attended to and my car was take in for service. The staff there is always very kind and informs me of any issues such my father and are always very helpful answering any questions I may have.

As much as I hate that they close on the weekends- it speaks to the value they put on their employees and time with their families and I appreciate that!
You know what Im very surprised that Christian Brothers didnt charge me a storage fee for my dodge van. I brought it in in hope to have it back in a couple of days. Than I ran into some financial trouble and it took three weeks to pay my $900 plus bill. They treated me so professional that I brought my Chevy truck and played my $1600 plus bill the next day, but they didnt know I could and the they trusted me and treated me professional and curtiously. Thank you Christian Brothers both vehicles run great as they should, keep it up.

I really appreciate the oil change.Price is right, the coupon that I had was, 50% off oil change including tire rotation. I asked for that at the same with the oil change. The person said no problem. when I returned to pickup the car, I noticed that, tires were not rotated, I came back in and questioned.The answer was: on this kind of car is recommended not to rotate the tires,He explained that the front tires were a little worn and the rear tires were better, and always is good to have the better tires in the back.But this car is front wheel driveFor what I understand I guess is the other way around, I am not a mechanic and I could be wrong. Then he say if you want me to do it I can but no right now.I decided to leave and don’t ever comeback to this shop.

They tell you what needs to be done and then they give you the option to fix any other minor issues. The workers are so humble and understanding! will definitely make this shop my primary automotive shop from now on.

The prices were good. The customer service horrible. I Will not go back again. They said they were going to pick me up at a certain time and didnt give me a really good heads up that they were going to be late. I was standing with my 7 yr daughter waiting for more than 10 min. If they would have told me ahead, I would have asked for a ride. Instead, I had to walk to the place wearing high heels and my daughter. Once I got there, they didnt even apologize or tried to compensate me for it. Like I said, I will not go there again.
Great Service. This is a family type of place...and these are the kind of gentlemen you will never forget. You learn them and know them by name. I was so pleased to learn they had a shuttle service. When I received their half off coupon at our home for an Engine Check Light...I couldnt be more than ecstatic. I was able to receive this particular service for less than $100. I have taken more than one vehicle to Christian Brothers and I will not go any where else. First, their level of hospitality is rarely found anywhere these days. I have been to more than 1 location and let me tell you, it is top quality hospitality across the board. You are treated like family, it’s that simple. Every single time work that has been needed on my vehicles has been explained to me thoroughly. There is no such thing as a dumb question. For me, they are my expert partners, not so called subject matter experts that see me as a way to hike up the numbers. I trust them and I tell them that. I feel it’s all about communication. They know my expectations are high. I don’t think they would have it any other way to be honest. Most importantly, I can take in the word of God while I wait and they provide the reading materials! I brought my vehicle here for an AC compressor replacement, they worked with me on the quote I was given, since I found it to be comparable to the stealership, and the current global situation I was unable to pay such price. I accepted the second quote and the new terms including using aftermarket compressor. Its to early to tell, so far the AC works. Time will tell. I will Update my review if anything changes. I am new to the area and unfamiliar with local non-corporate honest private mechanics.Communication is good, they explain everything to you, but I do suggest you do your research on whatever problem your vehicle has.I am satisfied with the repair and the courtesy I was treated with.
