I support local businesses. So, I wanted to write a good review, but I just cant because my face was left scarred after her procedure. I had the diamond tip microdermabrasion facial procedure. I should stop right here and say Ive had microdermabrasion done before (not diamond tip) and had no problem. Diamond tip from what Ive read is supposed to better. I told her the last time I had the procedure it was on a low setting. She told me that was used for the crystal microdermabrasion and not diamond (Ive read, and I dont believe this is true) . I told her it was painful during the procedure. She basically responded it was supposed to because she was removing the first layer of skin (Its not supposed to be painful, I looked it up after.) She proceeded with the procedure. After the microdermabrasion she performed extractions on my face. After the procedure, she did not offer me a mirror. I found out when I got outside why she didnt. My face was swollen, and reddened from where the microdermabrasion had run past my face (Im black and I cant recall when my face has ever been reddened!) The worst part was where she had made the extractions I could see BLOOD residue, which eventually left me with scars on my face. Ive had extractions before and never had this happen. My face looks horrible. BEWARE!!!

I was excited about this procedure and bought mine thru Groupon in MD for Kansas City, KS. I thought I would treat my friend and I.Well, we went early in case we got lost. Boy, am I glad, it was,in a less than a desirable area. The glass doors, floors, counters and bathroom was dirty. She was not dressed as a professional but was very pleasant. Being a nurse and knowing the importance of things used to make an abrasion/ removing top layer of skin on your face, I did not think this important step would not be done.Then I read a revi0ew from 2 wks ago and it sealed the deal. Groupon is a wonderful deal, ThisWas the first time I have been disappointed with anything from Groupon.

Purchased wax through Groupon, SCAM!! Never would answer the phone or call me back.
