Will scam you out of money. Stay away.My trailer was stolen, from a well lit, security cameraed area with two locks on it... Police pulled over a guy with my trailer...and towed the guys truck and my trailer to Glad Rents yard. Police notified me last night my trailer was found. I showed up with property release this morning, Glad rents charged ME 10 days for storing a trailer I LITERALLY HAD NO IDEA THAT WAS THERE. $600...are you kidding me?I have no problem paying the $150 tow fee. That I can understand...but I literally showed up within 12 hours of hearing my trailer was found by police to get it out of their lot and get charged with 450$ of storage fees.Charge the scumbag who stole it. Not the hard working individually who had property stolen from them.

The people there were so sweet. They welcomed us to their state and they had the cutest dog on the counter. It was easy and quick.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Our car was stolen a few weeks ago and it was recently recovered and towed to Glad Rents. We were told to bring proof of ownership when we arrived which we did. Upon arrival, there was a dirty dog sitting on the counter and the man working was flat irritated that he had to help someone. We called again today to ask if we could get some things out of it before the insurance company picked it up and he denied us because he was mad that I shared another stolen vehicle. I have it in writing that the insurance company said we could get things out of the car, but since the owner would rather treat honest people like criminals, then I have no choice but to leave a negative review. I would be highly suspicious of the integrity of this business.

This company robbed me. My car was stolen last week. Crazy enough, my daughter spotted it on 68th St and called the police where they seized my vehicle on a side street in Gladstone. The police had Glad Rents tow it for me to recover it. When I went to pick it up, the price was $125 then went to $195 and finally $320! They claimed they had to dig it out of a ditch which was a complete lie because my daughter was an eye witness. Getting robbed once was bad enough. These people robbed me a second time. Im filing charges with the DA. The owner laughed at me and said go ahead. Criminals own this place.

Great local equipment rental! They fill propane bottles here too! I just rented a plug aerator and it was in great working order, the attendant showed me everything I needed to know to use it, and I was in and out in 15 minutes or less.

The people here are very rude and have a very aggressive approach to people on the phone. Simply called to get information from them about a towed vehicle and they used aggressive attitude. This was some guy that sounded in his 60s or 70s.

Learn how to tow cars... now I have to replace both of my front stabilizer links. Trash place for tow services.

Ive never rented anything before this week, but I needed to level a spot for an above ground pool for my kids and it was way too much to do by hand. I used to work for Rent a Centers service center and I know how horrible that company is and what they think of their customers. That is my only experience with rental places. This place is NOTHING like that. I rented a tiller and a mini bobcat. They were friendly and gave me good advice on how to run the equipment. I thought the prices were very fair, although delivery was a little expensive for the mini bobcat (it cost almost as much as the rental fee and I live only a mile from the store, but I understand they have to pay employees and make money so its a small complaint)., The process was easy and the equipment worked wonderfully. Ill definitely go to them first the next time I need to rent equipment.

Ive been their customer for 2 decades and will never rent tools, trucks and machinery from anyone else. Their tow truck operator, Jay is a great American, too. Rented an auger and after arriving to the work site the plastic throttle broke in my hand. Figured it was just old and brittle And they’d be happy to make things right. When I arrived they told me I broke it and I had to pay for the rental fees. Tried reasoning with the old man but he just yelled and told me I can pay the labor and part prices if I’d like won’t be getting my business again. I’ll be going to liberty or Kearney next time!

This is the third time this year that the police have had these jokers tow my vehicle unlawfully. Difference is this time I got Gladstones finest on camera breaking the law themselves so instead of being a total jerk and fighting it the whole way Ill pay now atty can fight. But I called very politely asked him to wait till 515 to close and he said nope yard closes at give. All so he could get home to whatever is so important his pig or dog. But they are all like that zero personallity and such a pleasure to deal with especially since their the ones doing me wrong. Id do everything short of something gross to make my customers happy if I was doing it.

The people were nice enough but disorganized, slow and vehicle storage area is a joke with no idea where they keep things. I had a car stolen and it took forever to find it in the mess they call storage that is a dirt lot with holes and mud everywhere. They charged us for storage although stolen vehicles are supposed to have a grace period but I guess that is how they make money.

Owner is rather rude and dismissive. Even if you point out to them that their equipment is malfunctioning having brought said equipment back the next morning after renting it right at close the day before, they would still rather charge you full price and lose a long time customer than work with you. The equipment worked for a few moments then crapped out. I guess $50 (of which my bank refunded me) is much more important than future business when I was willing to pay for the percentage of the job that was completed. Do NOT rent from here if youre expecting any kind of customer service at all.

DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, nothing about my experience was fair or ethical.Glad rents is unethical and thieving. They quoted a price for a tow at the scene and then changed their price to $1000 bucks so that it would be cheaper to just sign the car away. They stated that they wouldnt get the cost back for the cost of the tow otherwise, which is ridiculous, it was towed literally half a mile. Most places will do 50-100 for hookup and 3 dollars or so per mile.Nothing would make me do business with them again.

Rented a sewer auger, picked it up before closing on Saturday. By the time I was able to get home and try it out they were already closed to be able to call in and report my findings. I spent quite a bit of time trying to get it to work, recoiling the cable and making sure it was as straight as possible. The auger has several kinks in the cable that made it impossible to use, had assistance from a neighbor that used this type of equipment before and confirmed that this was just not going to work. I tried to clear it with one of the smaller hand snakes, it got more than this thing did but it still wasnt cutting it. I gave up on it and purchased one from Lowes (a less heavy duty model than this one) Sunday morning. In 15 minutes I had the new one put together and down the pipe breaking the blockage resolving my weekend standstill with the plumbing. First available opportunity to contact them (Monday morning) this was returned an informed them of the issue. Charged full rate and was told they would take a look at it. Will not be a returning customer.

My car was towed from a public area that had no signs posted for no parking. Was given less than an hour and then when I saw they had towed my car it was after hours and I was THREATENED TO BE SHOT, for trying to get it back that night.Heard nothing but bad things about this place. If any place could have a 0 star rating it would be GLAD RENTS. Ghetto and unprofessional business.

This local also serves as the city impound lot so beware overly negative reviews. They have always been friendly and had the rental items avalable that we have neededat a fair price.

I actually came here to pick up my Penske truck, I was also going to pick up a car dolly, however for some reason they didnt have it, they had the full size car trailer. They called Penske and they gave me the full size trailer for the dolly cost, so I was very very pleased.

I rented a verticut machine from Glad Rents and was very happy with their service. From the guys inside to the workers in the yard. They were very helpful and nice.

I mustve caught them on the wrong day. Service wasnt very friendly and the person I spoke to before renting a surface cleaner didnt have any clue whether or not it would work with a hot water pressure washer. He said they were willing to let me take it and see. Long story short, the machine didnt work at all anyway and ended up costing me money via my extra time and effort on a job. When I returned it and told them it didnt work at all their response was a So you didnt get any use out of it? Huh.. and no refund. I wont be using Glad Rents anymore.

Great place to rent tools but if they happen to tow your vehicle watch out for thier prices. Its gonna sting.

I rented a sod cutter, walk behind bobcat, and a jackhammer. The sod cutter threw a belt and lost 2 springs within the first hour of operation. The walk behind bobcat lost a track carrying a light load on a driveway just over an hour into use. I will say the jackhammer worked fine all day.Personally, I believe that most of the equipment they have is junk that they bandage up and send out for the next renter. I understand things break in the equipment world, but wish they wouldnt have charged me for half of the full day rate for the hour that it was usable.I went to home depot and was able to rent new model equipment to finish the job with more extras (trailer, attachments, etc.) at the same rate. Dont waste your time and money at glad rent.

Called and asked if they have a specific size bit to rent. They assured me 3 times that they have it. Drove 45 minuets to pick it up and now they say they dont have any. Very poor customer service wont ever ues them and encourage others not to as well.

I will never ever use this business. Manager is a complete loser. My husband rented a tool and realized it was wrong minutes later. He called the store And immediately brought the tool back, was still charged full price.

Im a disabled person on a low fixed income, My car was stolen and recovered from Harrahs Casino Parking Garage, then towed (7) seven miles to Gladrents at 6800 North Oak Trafficway. Even though Im a didabled person I made arrangements to get a ride over there right away after the NKCPD notified me. Today must have been victimize the disabled victim day at Gladrents, I was charged $252.50 for a seven mile tow and 16 hours of storage...this is simply bad business, Im notifing my contacts at Channel 4 and Channel 41 about this unscrupulous company.....BEWARE.....!!!!!!

Not only are they a tool rental facility, they also impound vehicles. Had my Lexus SC430 impounded here. Storage fees are $30 per day.

We just picked up our stuff from a wrecked vehicle but they guys were helpful and friendly. They even took the plates off the car for us

I got towed by these guys at 10:10 on Saturday and picked up at 11 am the next day. they charged me for 2 days they charged me for sat and Sunday do not us then for anything they screw you.
