I had an awful experience at the last store I tried. This David’s Bridal was by far the best one I’ve been too. The customer service was amazing and they made me feel awesome in the dress I got. I have to call out the Sales a manager Maddie for her attention to detail and vast knowledge of inventory. Without her I don’t think I would have gotten my dress in time for my wedding! I had a terrible experience at another David’s so I came to this one for my alterations. I brought my jumpsuit in with my wedding dress on the off chance that they might be able to alter the straps. They were super accommodating and said they’d fit it in. Then when I put it on we realized that it could use some other alterations. They didn’t miss a beat in fitting me in and making sure I was comfortable with the alterations. Every minute of my experience with this staff was enjoyable. I’m excited to go back and pick up my dress and jumpsuit. 10/10 recommend!

Oh my goodness what an experience. I came homecoming dress shopping with my two daughters, freshman and senior. I had not even considered David’s bridal. We had tried Dillards and other stores with disappointing results. At Divid’s Bridal, we didn’t just buy dresses, we made a memory that will last a lifetime and it was all because of Laura. She made sure the dresses fit correctly, gave us all the ins and outs, and helped us with accessories. We felt so welcome, relaxed, comfortable and truly cared about. We even looked at bridal dresses just for fun and we felt like we were thee only customers in the entire store but we weren’t! By the end of the night I even asked if I could take a picture of Laura with my two girls because she had made the night so special. We will definitely be shopping here in the future!

They have measured most all of our wedding party wrong, offered high prices for alterations on their inaccurate measurements, offered no customer service after delivering garments. Perhaps the worst of all was telling us they could clean scuffs after a wedding dress had bustles added then later said they wont touch it tying our hands too close to the wedding. If a ceremony has sentimental value to you please dont order from here.

Absolutely loved my expirence here! I was at Davids Bridal to get my homecoming dress but did not know what I wanted. Thats when Laura came to the rescue! She helped me find a dress that was perfect for me. Not only did the expirence feel personal but it was so much fun.

Marin at the Barry woods crossing location was AMAZING! I have never had a professional fitting but that being said I consider my self a picky person. Marin answered most of my questions before I even asked and didn’t charge me for things I didn’t need. She had wonderful advice and was very precise and quick. THANKS MARIN!!!!Also Chauncey was super helpful and nice with my final fitting. And with a few final tweaks my dress is perfect!!!

7-15-2021 11:30am appointment-I am the mother of the bride and came across a situation that my dress that was ordered from a competing bridal shop 4 months ago would not be in until the week before our daughters wedding on Sept. 4,2021.After that was done and over, I scheduled an online appointment at the Kansas City, MO store in Barry Crossings. The experience I had as mother of the bride ( my daughter, the bride was with me) with Kitty, our consultant was excellent! Shes very personable with listening skills while providing encouragement. She went above and beyond making it fun and enjoyable as well. Shes a keeper and youre lucky to have her.The only negative thing was while at checkout another consultant was going to finish up with me for scheduling my alterations and in a customers view it was not very tactful how she came across. Kitty stayed with me to the end of my appointment and I very much appreciated it. I am a nurse and have many co-workers that are getting married, I will highly recommend this location and to ask for Kitty.Thanks again!

Alex did an amazing job helping me try on dresses. There was a couple that I had a hard time choosing from but she really help me narrow it down to what I really wanted. In the end she ended up finding another dress that was exactly what I wanted. Without Alex and the Davids Bridal team I wouldnt have said yes to my dress! It was such a fun and enjoyable time.

I just had my alterations with Jillian. You couldnt find a more professional, sweet and laid back person. She was super easy to work with and helpful. We loved her whole vibe in general! My entire experience at Davids Bridal has been the absolute best!

I came in to this location in a bit of a panic due to a short notice wedding. I found a dress online that I wanted to try before ordering and fortunately the style was available in store to try before committing. I was greeted upon entry and offered assistance, and then my stylist Denise got me set up with the dress, a fitting room, she gave me some guidance on sizing, and then we got the dress ordered. It was a quick and efficient experience and I am grateful to the girls here!

The atmosphere was amazing. absolutely professional and kind. Makayla was very knowledgeable. They are told me about the diamond loyalty so that I would be able to save some money on my dress. They took such great care of me and my group!!

I had a bridesmaid gown alteration and worked with Marin to make sure my dress would fit well in the right places and she was GREAT. Attentive, knowledgeable, and patient; she was awesome to work with. My dress looks great and was completed so quickly! Thanks again!

Mariyah helped me find the dress, and did an amazing job! I didnt plan on find the dress today, due to being 25 weeks pregnant and not being sure what size Ill be for my actual wedding, as my baby will be born by then but it turned out I still fit in the same size I wouldve been before being pregnant. There was a dress that we wanted a more fit size in for trying on and she didnt see that one but she grabbed another dress in a more fitted size that she though would be beautiful for me, and it happened to be the perfect dress!!

Marin at the Kansas City location was my alterations specialist and she did an excellent job of explaining why each step she was doing was important, she gave me options if I wasn’t in love with an initial look or fit, and I can’t wait to see the final results! Yvonne who, who greeted me and got me settled in the fitting area was lovely as well! Overall great experience!!

I have had exactly one good experience out of the 8 times I have shopped at this store. I hastily purchased my wedding dress and changed my mind. Their return policy is 7 days after ordering your dress. This is such a small return window that it makes changing your mind incredibly difficult. I then asked to exchange my dress for merchandise credit and was told that they didn’t know how to put the full amount onto an exchange card, and that I could only use the credit on in store items, rather than online items as well.I think it is ridiculous that I cannot return or even exchange a dress I purchased that has never even been taken out of the garment bag since I received it. The tags are still on it, I still have my receipt, and the dress has never even been tried on.Out of the eight shopping experiences I have had at this store, only one has been pleasant. Alex did a phenomenal job helping me, and I really appreciate all her effort to help me.The other 7 experiences were not this way. I shopped for bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride dresses, and engagement dresses and was not a priority at all. When shopping for my engagement dress, my stylist did not check on me once. I had to flag down a different stylist to help zip me up and get a different size. But my assigned stylist sure was there during the check out process to make sure she got the credit for the sale. When I was shopping for a maid of honor dress, I was the one pulling different styles and sizes, rather than my stylist. When shopping for a mother of the bride dress, we told the assigned stylist our preferences for color, size, and styles; and the assigned stylist pulled the wrong sizes, colors, AND styles.Overall, I will be telling other brides to avoid David’s bridal and shop at smaller boutiques, where I had much more positive experiences, helpful and attentive stylists, and more flexible return/exchange policies.

I ordered a wedding dress off line. It seems delivery is on jet lag. As I wait,, I went out to find my maid of honor a dress. To my surprise we stumbled upon a gorgeous dress. A VERA WANG dress on sale with the same color scheme, blush pink,. I tried on the dress and it was ABSOLUTELY beautiful, magnificent, breath taking and my brother said, thats the one!!!!!!! So I got to do the traditional make a wish and ringing of the bell 🔔 with my sign I found the one. I will never forget the moment. My 2 daughters so happens to be out with us that day, making it even more special.

I have had such an amazing experience at this place!! Carlee is always welcoming when you first walk in the door. Alex helped me find the dress of my dreams and Jillian helped me with alterations. Both ladies were so sweet and personable. I legitimately look forward to going here and seeing all of them! 5 stars. Love them all!

Davids Bridal was the first place I tried wedding gowns on after getting engaged. I had nothing but a wonderful experience and will highly recommend them to any future brides that I know! I did my final wedding dress try on, it was the last of three trips here. I’ve had a different stylist every time and each time was great and they were all very kind but this last visit where Alex was my stylist was so much better than expected! She was absolutely amazing and made trying on dresses nice and simple. Overall I couldn’t have asked for a better stylist! Highly recommend!

I had a last minute event for Sunday and everyone was so nice and helpful. Gloria at the front desk was very friendly and made sure I was attended to very quickly. Katie was the sales associate that was helping me pick out dresses. After asking a few questions about me and the event I was attending she was able to pick out a couple of options that best fit. Katie was very supportive and helpful as I was trying on options and attempting to make my decision. It was hard to decide on a dress because I loved every dress she picked. Once I found the one, Katie asked alterations if they could rush this dress. Cyndi worked her magic and had my dress done in no time. Thank you David’s Bridal north team. You all are the best!

I had went into Davids Bridal on a whim because I already had a wedding dress but I kept having second thoughts. I had a particular style in mind that I had thought I wanted. The consultant that helped me was Patti, and she was incredible. She brought me several dresses that were pretty close to what I had imagined that I wanted, she also tossed one in that was completetly different than what I had imagined and that just so happened to be the dress I chose. It is absolutely beautiful and I had a hard time wanting to take it off because I loved it so much. Thank You Patti for being so patient with me. All of the ladies that I had the pleasure of speaking with there were all very kind, and simply made me feel welcomed also.

Second Experience @ Barry Road location: this one is for alterations. I had Marin as my expert and she explained everything she would be doing to my dress. I didn’t know this was a “you pick, we fix” kind of deal so i was happy about that! I had heard horror stories about DB’s alterations prices and was so scared. Granted, my alterations are minor (perfect dress :), it was not as expensive as i assumed. They also go over a list of what things are going to cost. I pick up my dress next month and i anticipate a decent outcome since my experience here this entire time has been great! Thank you DB for the good experiences so far, hope we can continue this :)

I had the most amazing experience today with Patti at David’s Bridal on NW Barry Rd in KCMO!I did not feel rushed or pressured to make a decision at all. Patti had me try on several styles to narrow down which I liked best and ended up choosing the perfect dress for me. Once I narrowed down to two dresses she had me try on both with several options for accessories, making sure everything was just right. Patti and the entire staff made this day perfect and made me feel absolutely gorgeous. Thank you all for making my dress shopping experience special! I said yes to the dress!

On Saturday, March 27th, I went to David’s Bridal off of Barry Road for my first experience looking at wedding dresses. I was dreading this! I’m not the average bride so trying on dresses & staring at myself in the mirror with eyes on me all morning did not sound like a blast at all. Maddie was my bridal specialist, not sure if that’s what they are called, but she was absolutely amazing & made me feel so comfortable & beautiful. Her kind words & confident attitude helped make the day so special, while also making me become the princess I never thought I wanted to be. She truly is wonderful at her job & was able to answer all of our questions with ease. She selected several dresses that I absolutely loved & even gave me the experience of trying on dresses that I knew I wouldn’t like for the importance of finding out for sure. It’s also important to note here that I am extremely picky when it comes to clothes & had an exact idea of what kind of dress I believed I wanted before coming in store. I also had no intention of finding a dress at David’s Bridal & was simply going for the experience with my mom & mother in law. This did not happen as planned. I ended up falling in love with a Melissa Sweet dress (Maddie’s favorite one) but didn’t buy it in store because I found a used one online. Altogether, Maddie was amazing to work with & made me feel so beautiful. I hope that every bride is able to spend her special day picking out wedding dresses with someone like her!

Ive been browsing online at their selection. As a plus size bride (16), their dresses look like the bride is wrapped up in a curtain. Not flattering. I looked around for a reception dress which I wanted in blue. Not a lot of options for plus size women in color, and the options that are available, extremely unflattering. It was like the dresses were made to point out a persons imperfections.

Maddie was great!! She was so nice and helpful at helping me pick out dresses that I would like! Poor thing had a boot on because she broke her foot bit she was still quick! She has been there for a few years and knew about all the dresses!There was one on a mannequin that I really loved and she took it right off for me to try on! I really loved it! Its definitely a contender!The receptionist was really nice too!Edit: I did go back today and get the dress I loved! Maddie was helping again cuz I did ask for her. She was great at answering a few questions about my dress and helped with deciding if i wanted a veil and such. I definitely recommend coming here!

Worked with Laura S. Both times I was in their shopping for brides maids dresses. She was fantastic! Always kept Checking on us to make sure we were OK. She fixed every little detail on our dresses to make us look beautiful. She gave my niece a tiara to wear for the time we were their, which she ABSOLUTELY loved! I went to David’s bridal in North Kansas City and it was the best David’s bridal I have been to. Victoria helped us tonight and definitely went above and beyond to help me find my perfect dress. She would ask me what I liked about certain dresses and would go find another dress with the things I liked! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I had an INCREDIBLE experience. This was my second fitting. My family lives 5 hours away and my Bridal Party is spread out across the Midwest. As such, I was alone this time. I also have intense anxiety and Im a plus size bride who struggles with insecurities. My consultant Alex and the manager TJ were both WONDERFUL. They made me feel VERY comfortable and made my experience fun, easy and stress free. I will DEFINITELY go back to make my final purchase. This was very welcoming environment from the time that I stepped in the door until I left.

I wish I could give 5 negative stars because this company is TERRIBLE! Went to the store, ordered a dress. When it came in, I went and picked it up and verified that I had 7 days to return it. I went home, tried it on and it didn’t fit right. My event was a week away so I could get alterations. I went back the next day and the manager told me I couldn’t return it because it’s 7 days from the PURCHASE date. I didn’t even have the dress 7 days after I purchased it!!! After calling corporate and trying to return to a different location, I received NO HELP. So I have a dress that doesn’t fit that I paid $200 for. Customer service is NOT what this business strives for. TERRIBLE BUSINESS, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! There are plenty of other bridal shops I would give my future business to.

I went to Davids Bridal to find my perfect wedding dress. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the staff made me feel like the most important person there. My personal helper was Kitty and she was AMAZING. She listened to me, helped me find the perfect dress, and assisted in anyway she could on making this experience one of a kind for me. I would highly recommend Davids Bridal to anyone looking to find the perfect dress and have a rewarding experience doing it!The following two times I went with a few bridesmaid for bridesmaid dresses then again with my mom and sister for a mothers dress and to get measurements for my sisters romper. I had Laura at both of these appointments and she is just the sweetest, caring, and helpful person! She came in on her day off to help me again and I cant thank her enough! Davids Bridal has been my go to and will continue to be!

My dress alterations were twice the price of my dress ! They chose the bustle and didn’t ask me and they chose the most expensive one too ! Rescheduled my pick up day and time with out giving me a say so!

I went for alterations on my mother of the groom gown. I had unfortunately broken my arm a few weeks prior and had limited movement. Cynthia did my alterations and she was very helpful in getting me get into the gown. The pinning went quickly too which was especially nice given my sore arm. Thank you.

Maddie was AMAZING!!! In the 4 times we have been in there she was by far the best person we have worked with. She was patient, kind and found perfect accessories. We finally left with THE DRESS for my daughter.

I went in for a mother of the groom outfit and was out the door with a dress in hand within the hour. Kitty was amazing!

My bridesmaids and I had our dress appointments today. Our consultant Laura was amazing! She made sure we were all taken care of and we ALL left happy. Laura even shed happy tears with us when I said yes to my dress! That showed me just how much she cares and loves her job. Top Notch customer service.
